I wonder if he’ll actually show. And that’s only if he’s supeoned (sp?) This is very much up in the air right now.

  2. Flamethrower Says:

wow, I wonder if he’ll commit perjury.

And yes, #1, that’ll be after a fight all the way to the Supreme Court on whether he’ll have to testify. I wonder how Tony “Il Soprano: Scalia would vote on that?

  3. Jackie Rawlings Says:

Let’s hope that Libby and Rove are willing to take the fall for Cheney and Bush. Going to jail for years while Cheney and Bush laugh their heads off at how dumb these two guys are. Those loyal words of Nixon ” Protect the President/Vice President at any cost”. Libby and Rove can be proud that they took the fall for the criminals. Don’t send Libby or Rove any soap.

I think this picture that came with the original AP news wire story perfectly captures Dick’s cuddly side.

    Just about sums it up.

  6. Drew Mackenzie Says:

Dangerous guy… better frisk him when you bring him in for questioning. I heard he shot a man in the face once.

  7. Cloak & Swagger Says:

Good thing memory loss is contagious.
And even if Darth Cheney doesn’t show symptoms of hippocampus rot, he’s still got narcolepsy.
    zzzZZZZZzzzzztreason!?…whuuuu!?…treason!?zzzzZZZZzzzz

  8. Arne Langsetmo Says:

Libby would love for them to call Cheney. He knows the maladministration will resit and stone-wall it … anything to drag out the case as long as possible. Not to mention, Libby may even say he can’t get a fair trial w/o Cheney. He may be happier if Fitz calls him; Fitz may have more latitude to question Cheney under cross if Libby were to call him, than Fitz would in calling him on direct.

    Cheers,

  9. Theresa Says:

He’ll invoke the ‘”state secret” clause and continue to hide in his bunker.

(I’ll Fly Away by Alison Krauss and Gillian Welch is now-playing)

  10. Spudge_Boy Says:

Is this story legally documented or is it unlegally documented.

  11. Seixon Says:

Oh, here I was thinking he was the central target of the entire probe. Guess I need to stop reading Truthout.

  12. Jay Randal Says:

Cheney never testifies under oath, so whatever he says to Fitzgerald is worthless under those conditions in a court of law! Dick is a criminal, but he knows he is above the law as long as he gives no sworn statements!

  13. unbelievable Says:

How do you get a vampire like Cheney to appear in court during daylight?

  14. ijustloveher Says:

….with a necklace of garlic!!!!…and some silver bullets!

  15. Elliot Says:

I’m perplexed at this whole trial. Why not get Libby to plead guilty, spend a couple years in a federal resort and have Bush pardon him when his term is out (or when he gets impeached god willing)?

In any event, I can’t see Cheney testifying. Cheney clearly wrote something on that article that said “Lets get all of them”… forgive my inaccuracy. Fitzgerald will probably try to corner Cheney into admitting that he authorized the leak. However, Cheney will probably plead the Fifth Amendment.

Good one Unbelievable, I fell out with that post….My answer would be a bowl of blood and a tanker full of oil…….LOL…Blessings

  17. Evil Spaniard Says:

Will he be allowed in court with his shotgun?

  18. Zimzone Says:

Bevis & Butthead are good descriptors for these two.
Hopefully Hastert’s dirty underwear will be waving on
the flagpole about the time Big Dick shows up in his limo.
These guys have got to go, & I can’t think of anyone better
suited to do it that Patrick Fitzgerald.

LOL He just looks like a blood sucker with his pasty white flabbiness and that look of evil in his eyes while he licks his lips… Makes my skin crawl! I really don’t know how people stand to be in the same room with him… without a wooden stake readily accessible…

  20. Preznit Pinhead Says:

#13 is correct. They won’t even make Oil Slick Dick swear in. Can you imagine the wailing & gnashing of teeth we’d have heard from the repukes if Clinton hadn’t sworn in?

  21. Sharon Cox Says:

Yep! Both, he and bush make my skin crawl…What to do with these neo-con blood suckers..Cheney looks like he need’s a bucket of blood to get through a day and turtle beak bush looks like he is slowly going to turn everything into dirt. I can’t even stand to listen to their lies any more. Sadly they are speaking more. Since we can’t seem to get these liers and thieves out of office I wish they would just fade away…..Blessings

    witness or witless…zzzzzzzzzzzzz
