Cheney’s secrecy violates an executive order.

The Office of the Vice President failed to report statistics regarding Cheney’s classification and declassification activity in 2005, defying an executive order requirement that he do so. The Office of the Vice President has declined to report such data since 2002.

Laws, executive orders, regulations–none of these apply to this Administration if they choose to ignore them. Apparently. And Congress seems happy with that. What a bunch of losers.

  2. Zookeeper says:

Rules are made for the little people, not for big dicks like Cheney.

So tired…Try to have a nice long weekend.

  3. Keith H. says:

No wonder The Dick falls asleep while listening to his man-chimp.
It’s never ending hard work to keep all of his tracks covered.
It’s interesting how the only time you hear about this scumbag money worshiping slob is when he’s either supposedly on the campaign trail for his pals or defending their Iraq invasion.

  4. EasyRider says:

Send in the FBI and search his office.

  5. Wayne says:

please, Novemner come soon, so we can impeach these sorry excuses for human beings.
ooops, sorry for the insult to human beings everywhere.

#4 They only do that when its a democrat, didn’t you get the memo? =)

  6. Wintermute says:

Nice try. This is a government of men, not of laws.

  7. Andrew G. says:

There is probably some secret executive order that no one knows about exempting President Cheney from any of this.

  8. Theresa says:

Actually, Cheney’s office has declined to report this data since 2002.

Theresa (I’ll find the link; bear with me)

  11. Jay Randal says:

Cheney believes he is above the law so nothing can be done to him since the Congress is ball-less!

  14. GSD says:

Look, I reported the shooting of the 78 year old man in the face with my $23,000.00 Italian shotgun. What more do you want from me? For God sakes, my daughter is running around teh country telling everyone who will listen, including Letterman, that she is a rug-muncher.

    Leave me alone.

    -Deadeye Dick Cheney

I MAY BE IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO BE SPIED ON, BUT TRUST ME NO ONE ELSE THAT POST HERE IS THAT IMPORTANT TO OUR GOVT. STOP DELUDING YOURSELF IN THINKING THAT ANYONE CARES WHAT YOU DO.

  22. cats are flyfishn says:

Hummm…. just guessing about TROLLS – age group 13 to 21, male, if working, job would be serving bergers, lives in a rural area, shoots squirrels for fun, has no social life and spends his time playing video games.

  23. cats are flyfishn says:

This is no surprise. Cheney didn’t act on the report that Bin Laden was planning an attack on US soil. He and the rest of this Administration just stood back and let it happen – negligence and we are still paying the cost for this negligence. He did act on Joe Wilson’s column by ordering Scooter to do something. It is sad for Cheney. He must be a very lonely person. No one could truly love someone as evil as Dick Cheney.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle and then for a rich person to enter heaven. Guess there won’t be any welcoming party in heaven for Cheney.

  24. cats are flyfishn says:

#21 – you obviously care about the people that post here otherwise you wouldn’t be posting.

  25. jurassicpork says:

“Laws? We don’t need no stinkin’ laws!”

Maureen Dowd warns us that we’re becoming the enemy in Iraq, and starts off with an interesting, and rare, bit of autobiography. One of her better ones, lately.

  26. Joe Sixpack says:

#18 & #21. HAPPY DIPSHIT UNDER THE BRIDGE doesn’t sound too happy at all. Especially with the progressive thoughts here. That’s just my thought, of course.

  27. Rebelese says:

    HEY TROLL MAN

You are important enough solely because you send and recieve e.-mails.

  28. Hardy Haberman says:

Cheney is the execuitve, therefore he can choose to ignore anything he didn’t decree.

  29. David B says:

Post # 24, they let 9/11 happen so we could be where we are today. They took control of the country with the congressional republican right majority and neo-con think tanks, reshaped the courts, put criminals like Gonzoles in high places, all along hiding behind the spector of we’re at war. Now we spy and listen to everyone, the rich pay no taxes, if you don’t like today’s facsism – wait until you see what’s next. The democracy has been completely turned inside out. When you strip away the finish they are all pathetic, ignorant, weak individuals who react to their fears of the unknown; gay marriage, boogeyman osama, islams, immigrants, blacks, ect. If it doesn’t look like us fat old white people it doesn’t pass the sniff test, different is not good. Give it a name, demonize it, enact legislation, make it bad and illegal for everyone else.

For all this the sheepeople don’t care, too busy watching sitcoms, reality TV and voting for the American Idol. The Bush cabel has broken more than 750 laws and statutes in 5.5 years. The VP is in direct violation of an executive order, the home and office of a US congressman has been violated – first in over 220 years, yet nothing has happened. There have been no arrests, impeachements, not even any threats on his power, what could our representation in congress possibly doing or thinking. These people are mostly lawyers yet they hide behind the law rather than use it.

I read that is will take 3-4 election cycles to correct the crime, curruption and hijinx of the past 5.5 going on 8 years. Hopefully someone like Feingold will step forward in 2008 and start us on the correct path again.

  30. Sharon Cox says:

Great post David B… I Agree 100%……Thank you for taking the time, you are appreciated…………Blessings

  31. SKdeA says:

Amen #30 – my only slight correction would be to exchange the word “let” with “made” in the first sentence… time will tell!

  32. Freebird says:

True all that, David B. I hope we can save this Republic before it’s too late. We need to send all the worthless people in Congress home. Sorry folks, you forgot your oath. The one in which you are to defend the Constitution, not the President and his fellow crooks/cons.

Time will tell. Do you think America will wake up before it’s too late. 29% refuse to see anything. Can we really have that many people who put party before country?

Greetings to everyone this Memorial Day. Too bad we are adding to our list of war dead daily for a lie.
