UPDATE: Now CBS News: “A lawyer for senior White House official Karl Rove says prosecutors have decided not to charge him with any crimes in the CIA leak investigation.”

Damn, and double damn. Unless, of course, Rove turned state’s evidence and Fitz is working up the food chain. Otherwise, mankind really is doomed, as there is no God…
well I just cant wait to hear in what context Rove has not been indicted? Was it because the President and Vice President both decided they would release (leak) the name of the Agent?
Im not looking for a warrant for the arrest of those who serve in the White House but the notion that there was something like this going on in an attempt to smear political oppostion.
Bottom line here? There were no WMD’s to be found, the White House cant say theu were not told, and someone sure told who told em? Mrs valerie Plame’s husbamd….
nuff said?
Rove turned on Cheney (with blessing of WH).
Cheney will resign (and be pardoned at some point).
McCain is named VP, handsomely poised to take over in ‘08.
#4, I agree. Rove has turned on Cheney. All evidence pointed to the fact that Rove lied about his conversation with Matt Cooper and was one of Novak’s sources. Fitz is looking for a bigger fish.
Thought Rove was in front of a Grand Jury and wouldn’t it be the Grand Jury’s decision as to indict or not to indict? Is NBC reporting that Fitzgerald just dropped the case against Rove? There must be more to this story.
LET ME HELP ALL OF YOU TO PACK. I WILL PERSONALLY CARRY YOUR BAGS TO THE AIRPORT, BUS STATION. TRAIN OR ANY OTHER CONVEYANCE OF YOUR CHOOSING. ENJOY THE “FALLS”, WINNIPEG, MONTREAL. EVEN B.C. Bush wins?
Hardly. Democracy has lost. Just another of the Bush No-Bel Liars. Heckuva Job Rove, way to deflect truth from the Incompetent Cercopes running Bushco.
Rove ought to be getting a medal of freedom anyday.
Bush doesn’t win anything. The Republicans have only created a Neo-Liberal Monarch.
Joe Troll thinks it’s funny now…but he won’t be laughing when they start the ‘mandatory’ service. See Joe, I won’t be going to this War…You and Your kids, maybe even wife, mya not be so lucky. All so Karl and Bush could “Win” something…A contest of lies…Congrats Republcans!

Maybe the Chinese, after you pay them back, will let you Love your new capitalist communist country.
That is IF you ever finish paying back China and the Neo-Liberals Rockefeller, and other Major Banking Institutions that comrpomise the Federak Reserve.
Wise Move Troll!
Sell the Land you Love into Debt!

Karl Rove has actually become an asset to us and a detriment to the White Hose because of his inability to change the downhill slump of Bush’s popularity and his policies. Remember, Karl Rove is ‘Bush’s brain’ and look how ineffective that brain has been. If he’s the man behind Bush’s policies, governing, then he, too should be considered a failure.
Also, recall how completely out of touch Karl Rove is. Just a couple of weeks ago, Rove said, “People like this President” and that ‘they’re only sour about the war’.
Dear Joe Troll; Japan owns enough US Treasury bonds to be able to destroy both the US dollar and the market for Washington’s endless red ink.
Francis Fukuyama, your neo-con cheerleader “the end of history” takes on new meaning, the end of the Land you Love comes to mind Joe Troll, not that you ever owned it anyway.
Now that we have settled who owns who Joe Troll, when will you pay me?
I want your blood Joe Troll.
Will it be greenbacks or a eternal dirt dive in Iraq, probably Iran as well, nevertheless, Dirt Dives for you Trolls.
Will Fitzgerald next be dropping charges against “Scooter” Libby? Will the reporters that didn’t even report on Plame’s identity until after Novak had already leaked the damaging news be the only one’s to serve jail time in this case. This looks like another case of justice being stood on its head.
“In deference to the pending case, we will not make any further public statements about the subject matter of the investigation,” Luskin said. “We believe the special counsel’s decision should put an end to the baseless speculation about Mr. Rove’s conduct.”
I find that statement a little irritating. The Feds aren’t going to interview Rove a half-dozen times if there isn’t a solid base for accusation – the fact that he isn’t going to be charged has less to do with what he did and more with whether or not there is enough evidence and testimony to generate a conviction.
But for the Republicans, only the bottom line is measured. The end justifies any means. By their core set of values, this is a Republican victory.
Which of course means that 10 minutes after the announcement right-wingers will turn “a decision by the special prosecutor not to pursue conviction” into “a liberal witch hunt.”
P.S. DEAR FSM, I’VE MADE THOUSNDS UPON THOUSANDS OFF OF HALIBURTON. BUT THAT WAS IN THE 90s WHEN MY BOY BILL WAS PRESIDENT AND KEPT GIVING OUT THE NO BID CONTRACTS TO CHENEY. KARL ROVE IS DEAD WEIGHT TO THIS BUSH WHITE HOUSE. They actually would have been better off with him gone….he has been totally ineffective as Bush’s brain.
I have no doubt that Bush, his lawyers and Rove’s lawyers twisted Pat Fitzgerald’s arm. These people are willing to do ANYTHING to win and I am certain something shady went on to get Karl off of the hook. I wouldn’t put threatening Fitzgerald past them. They are willing to play VERY dirty pool on anything and everything to get their way. They have proven that over and over again. I’m sure they told Pat that ‘it wouldn’t be in his best interest’ to indict Rove. I guarantee it.
Clearly, karl rove is NOT dead weight, and the justice department, which acts as the administration’s pace-maker, keeping it ticking, realized as much.
Who knows if karl is guilty or not? We will find out, but it sure seems unlikely that he is not guilty of this particular crime.
It makes the planted story by Jason Leopold all the more suspect because it was meant to undermine the bloggers.
In fact, the story by Leopold and letting rove go free were nice “bookends” to the DC bloggers conference.
I think we are seeing the early stages of the demise of democracy. We have thieves and liars in the White House. They have sold our nation for profit. Their party has refused to challenge them. Democracy as a grand experiment is unable to withstand assault from within – the fears of our forefathers have been realized.
When a man who obviously and demonstratably lied in a case involving national security and does not at least get brought up on perjury charges – He either rolled over on a bigger criminal… or the justice system is dead… sadly I believe it is the latter:(
#51, “I think we are seeing the early stages of the demise of democracy.”
We’re approaching a very low ethical and moral point — a nadir — in our nation’s history. But the demise of democracy? Never. America is too diverse, and too well-armed (thanks, Mr. Heston!) to become a totalitarian state. (Although we are definitely becoming an authoritarian one.)
Although it’s hard to describe how awful this ruling makes me feel, it makes me feel good to know there are so many caring, common-sensical people like us. We ARE the good guys. We, and our families, are the ones that make “the good fight” worth continuing.
Be strong! Don’t give up! Never surrender. They really are the bad guys. Never forget!
$54 “Makes you wonder how much truth is told at truthout doesn’t it? Oh, I know, its just another Republican conspiracy right? You guys are pathetic.”
LOL, you’re kidding, right? Or are you really that stupid?
Why don’t you go to Media Matters and take a look at the multiple lies the right tells EVERY DAY.
Go home little troll. Maybe if you’re lucky the NSA will investigate your bank records. Now be a good Nazi and vote Republican.
more like the demise of the left. self destruction. great day for america. — be a man. take it on the chin. dust yourself off. a few concepts unheard of on the left.
Complile away, dude. I’ve been to your “blog” and skimmed a few of your posts; while you may have quite a few visitors popping in, the comment sections for your threads seem to be quite empty. Apparently nobody cares to discuss the crap you are posting.
And judging by part of the title of your blog, “The latest news and what you should think about it,” looks like you fall right in line with the kooky rightwingers. Fox News would be proud.
i think this flood of unusual identities are the too embarrassed normal bunch of loud-mouths who normaly log in here (from their mothers basement) everyday. Hi Losers!
come on ot losers. start callin people names. hurl a few insults at everybody. pretend to be smart. you know, your normal BS. it will make you feel better
according to the w.h. reporter this morning on nbc, to paraphrase, either fitz believed rove’s memory loss story or he felt he didn’t have enough to indict…
but this is a fact: “He doesn’t belong in the White House. If the president valued America more than he valued his connection to Karl Rove, Karl Rove would have been fired a long time ago,” said Dean, the Democratic Party chairman, speaking Tuesday on NBC’s “Today” show. “So I think this is probably good news for the White House, but it’s not very good news for America.”
#53, “Oh, I know, its just another Republican conspiracy right? You guys are pathetic.”
Denying the obvious is pathetic. Leopold was clearly manipulated by operatives like yourself so you could tell these kinds of lies.
This was a case of attempting to undermine the blogosphere. Jason’s story and the discrediting sandwiched the bloggers’ conference in DC nicely. Too nicely.
Lies as obvious as your only reflect your wanton stupidity and hatefulness.
People who still support or defend these criminals, I suppose, must be tolerated since you can’t kill them all. I don’t believe in the death penalty, and I can say that now for sure, because this is the strongest test possible.
let me see if I can have this straight. The two most recent “victories” for the neo-cons, is finally getting Al Zarqawi, a guy the white house made into a beg deal even though he wasnt’, and that Karl Rove won’t be indicted.
pretty pathetic guys. What will you celebrate next? Cheney only getting 25 instead of life?
#64 “come on ot losers. start callin people names. hurl a few insults at everybody.”
jane the hate-monger…Sometimes the truth is as simple as that. You are any number of horrible names, and they are all apt and quite simple. It takes no particular intellect to point out the obvious.
You are here only to stir shit up and drag down the conversation and ensure that people attack you instead of the truth, but here’s the truth.
This was a plan to undermine the internet and you think you are playing your part. The problem is, we know what you’re up to and you’re name-calling and denying it makes no difference at all.
I won’t respond to you, or read you, so live with it and don’t waste your few remaining brain cells.
Well, well, well.
I’m working on compiling links to all the “Rove indictment coming today†Think Progress has had on the past few months.
2000 by my last count.
I am very happy with this result. I believe it will put America back on the right track of having comments threads free from random nimrods chirping about “Fitzmas” and the like. If it takes giving one of the most vile humans in the country a free ride on something criminal he was certainly involved in so be it. All of you have been a much bigger pain in the arse than he has for the duration. There’s a lesson there.
so glad am i that brother Rove can continue his mission to destroy democracy. much easier than we expected it has been to hasten the death of america. praise to allah for making the american infidels so stupid.
Denying the obvious is pathetic. Leopold was clearly manipulated by operatives like yourself so you could tell these kinds of lies.
Well that just leaves the question of who clearly manipulated Leopold in every other instance where he has invented stories to report then been found out and fired for it over the course of his career.
#69 Thanks for reminding people about that – Zarqawi. Z was a local punk and undeserving of our attention, but this administration created the opportunity for his leadership and celebrated his reign in order to maximize the PR value from his elimination. Creating fame for him rallied more people to the opposition, which strikes me as giving aid to the enemy.
I’m willing to accept that Leopold may have been part of the plan to undermine the internet, but it doesn’t matter because it all points to the underlying motivation behind the timing of this act.
Rove is a weasle, and he weasled his way out of this. I wonder who he had to throw under the bus? I hope it was Cheney. I hope Cheney invites Rove to go hunting too.
Take a look at the Bush dictatorship as a whole.
Think about what has been done by these thugs through their butt-hole buddies in Congress. Their control over everything didn’t just happen.
Nor did repeated fraud or THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IT.
This has been the biggest scam ever pulled on The United States in it’s history.
And it’s not planning on stopping any time soon.
The fact that e-voting machines are still used ANYWHERE in this country proves that the dems too, are part of this shit-storm.
If you believe the countless lies that are approaching and will arrive this November, you are gullable, and they like you.
There is no sense clinging to the idea that the ‘next election’, will somehow be legit.
Why would it be, they are just fine with the way things are going.
Here is the picture:
They do not care what you think or what you do or even if you are alive and are a productive member of society.
It doesn’t matter to them what their own party thinks of them, they couldn’t care less.
You see, none of that b.s. matters because they know they are in control of EVERYTHING. Get it? All of the continuous jabbering from the talking heads and other debates over their decisions is just a passing fog. They do whatever they want and plan to continue the same, knowing damn well that they will NEVER be held accountable. By law, or at election time.
Come November, after they tell us all about how they just barely retained the necessary seats, what will be our response?
‘Well . . . . you guys just wait till ‘08, you’re finished then’.
[...] Those on the left are understandably disappointed, but it might be a little premature to start planning an exodus or exile to some or more democratic country. And while the right may be trumpeting this as an event to be celebrated (see the comments on ThinkProgress), I think they may want to contain their glee, as Dick Cheney's-Dick Cheney has not been indicted, and the testimony of Rove certainly does not reflect well on Scooter. [...]
Denying the obvious is pathetic. Leopold was clearly manipulated by operatives like yourself so you could tell these kinds of lies.
Well that just leaves the question of who clearly manipulated Leopold in every other instance where he has invented stories to report then been found out and fired for it over the course of his career.
Now if you are looking for someone to blame over that then come to terms with the fact that Truthout knew this was what he was when they hired him and they haven’t fired him. If you are looking to cry foul over someone using a propaganda tool (in every sense) to their own ends then look no further than Truthout. Then stop looking at them all together.
It really doesn’t surprise me that Karl Rove won’t be indicted. We can banter around all we want about what is going on behind the scenes. The real question is what kind of “freedom” do you want? Is it the kind of freedom where you can live your life within the boundaries set forth by a responsible and compassionate society. Or the kind forced upon you by this administration and their toadies all the way down to the likes of Joe Troll (Tool) and Jane Troll (Whore Tool). They only want the freedom to say “we won!” and to be a good little bootlicker. They are willing to give up any and all forms of what is/was American freedom for one faction’s idea of security. When there is no freedom, what are you secure from? And more importantly, why?
Here is a list of a few freedoms republicans of today enjoy:
The freedom to lie.
The freedom to lie to cover up the previous lie.
The freedom to withhold the truth.
The freedom to lie when confronted with the truth.
The freedom to avoid the truth alltogether.
The freedom to be corrupt.
The freedom to mismanage OUR government.
The freedom to take away more of OUR freedom.
The freedom to practically give away OUR money to the people who need it the least.
The freedom to force their version of freedom upon another country based 100% on their lies.
You have the freedom to say anything you want about me. I really don’t care. But I still have the freedom to say you are morally bankrupt. You equate political victory in whatever form as a sporting event with infantile remarks like “we win”, “you lose” like your team just won the Super Bowl. It’s about preserving and adhering to our constitution and bill of rights. They aren’t perfect, but they’re pretty damn close.
So, all you Rove, Bush, Cheney and PNAC lovers out there go and wave your flags and pretend to be patriotic. Because it isn’t about freedom to you, it’s about the cheap pleasure of being for and cheering for “the winning team”.
OK, so now that the “ongoing investigation†is no longer ongoing, will the White House answer questions about Rove, as promised?
Comment by Pete Bogs
Snowflake: Helen, the Rove investigation is old news, can we just move on to something more current?
I am with all the commenters who say that Rover boy has rolled over on someone else, probably Cheney, in order to get the special prosecutor to drop the charges.
Cheney will resign, Bush will either appoint McCain or Lieberman to be VP since this is a political season, and Rover boy will have all his lawyers fees paid for by the RNC. Isnt the gray house and Washington a great place?
Notice all the trolls all out in force on this Rover boy thing. The RNC is paying for that too, all of them are paid by the pukes.
What’s funny is that the LLL m0ob@+ fever swamp already convicted Karl Rove based on NOTHING. Like the SeeBS Guard story they already knew the truth so they were never concerned by any investigation of the facts. Since I am pretty sure that Grand Jury testimony is done in secret ANYTHING said outside that room in hearsay and (in your case) wishful thinking. Come on guys, put down the Kool Aid for a minute and review the long list of “Evidence” you have against Karl Rove. Does it even pass the giggle test?
No…Cheney will NOT resign! See you’ve got to stop crying wolf. Cheney isn’t going anywhere, short of a heart attack. You keep loosing, over and over and over again and again. Say something or predict something that has half a chance of coming to pass. You have no credibility anymore. Put that tin foil hat on the rackand come up with something remotely sane to offer people outside your echo chamber.
The very best part of Rove not being prosecuted is watching the “star” of that comedy show Countdown kieth olbermann just meltdown!! I love it !! herr olberman , the big ornage blockhead has been salivating over the idea of Rove going to jail. now they will have to change the name of the show from countdown to meltdown and it’s hilarious.
Olbermann is a real nutjob and now what little credibility he had was gone.
so much for the republican culture of corruption.
Let’s not forget the other purpose for the failure to indict. What about Joe Wilson? Do they think they have undermined him? He was also quite present at the kos event in DC.
This is so clearly contrived.
David Corn said on democracy now that rove is guilty, fitzgerald just can’t make the case. He describes how clearly this is straight-line logic, and then says fitzgerald just can’t get enough to indict him.
Then corn says something really amazing. He said that Joe Wilson “outed himself” as the person who went to Niger to discount the administration’s “significant, but not pivotal” charge that saddam was seeking the fuel for nuclear WMD.
I don’t know what he’s saying. That was THE single most damning piece of evidence put forth. Hell, it even had me wondering.
Until you see the letter from fitz to luskin, all you are doing is reacting to news reports of statements made by rove’s attorney. If you want the best assessment of what this means read Christy’s piece at FDL and wait for Murray Waas’ next piece. “Does not anticipate” is not the same as “will not indict” and suggests that rove must keep his part of the deal. Screw Rove, it’s Cheney we want. He’s PNAC. Rove is just a slimy toad.
#103 Rove will not be indicted. I’ll say that again, Rove will not be indicted. You will not win the House or Senate. All the “Fighting Dems” you throw up there will not win. Yours is a record of abject failure and it will continue. Hold all the conventions you want. You navigate an echo chamber. Your numbers are small and powerless. That is your fate.
funny in a hypocritical sort of way the “progressives” want to go after someone(anyone) for outing a CIA operative yet they think the communist NYTimes story outing the NSA wiretapping of terrorists is just fine and dandy. Just goes to show what traitorous hypocritical bastards the left wingers in America have become!
I remember the old phrase from the 60’s when I was a kid ..”America, love it or leave it”. since I know that the so called progressives will not be happy until they turn America into a third world socialist shit hole I suggest they all take the latter option.

Statement from Christopher Wolf, attorney for outed CIA officer Valerie Plame Wilson
RAW STORY
Published: Tuesday June 13, 2006
Print This | Email This
Statement of Christopher Wolf, Proskauer Rose LLP, Counsel for Ambassador Joseph Wilson and Valerie Plame Wilson
“We have become aware of the communication between Mr. Fitzgerald and Mr. Luskin concerning Karl. Rove’s status in the criminal investigation. We have no first-hand knowledge of the reason for the communication or what further developments in the criminal investigation it may signal. While it appears that Mr. Rove will not be called to answer in criminal court for his participation in the wrongful disclosure of Valerie Wilson’s classified employment status at the CIA in retaliation against Joe Wilson for questioning the rationale for war in Iraq, that obviously does not end the matter. The day still may come when Mr. Rove and others are called to account in a court of law for their attacks on the Wilsons.”
Here’s the bottom-line… Most Republicans are OK with lies, corruption, no morals/ethics, lawlessness, greed and will fight at the drop of a hat for a belief (however wrong or based on lies and falsehoods). The rest are too ignorant of reality and too self-involved to care. Most Democrats are not OK with any of the above but are too scared to fight and the rest are to apathetic and self-involved to care…. That leaves you as the average Joe individual to make your way through this bad time in our country’s history with only a good moral compass to guide you. Avoid everything else as much as possible – Read Robert Heinlein on how to avoid the mess of politics and the loss of liberty in this country – still applicable today as it was 50 years ago.
Good advice ardee #110. The sooner we realize that the system is broken and won’t be fixing itself, the better. We the people need to take our country back. Too bad the media are in bed with the powerbrokers (in fact, they’re one in the same). Also too bad that a big hunk of the citizenry remains ignorant & apathetic.
Sorry for the delay in returning your quips. I was day trading. It’s easy paying capital gains taxes when all I do is type on my keyboard. You TPers gotta learn to do something more prodctive on the computer than bitch. Oh yeah BUSH WINS again.
I never had any faith in Leopold’s reporting about Rove, but this latest news doesn’t prove or disprove the basic question of whether Fitzgerald was ready to indict Rove. It’s quite likely Rove has cut a deal of some sort. It’s quite possible that Fitz’s letter to Luskin, which hasn’t been made public as far as I can tell, says something along the lines of “as long as you cooperate as promised you’re ass is safe for now.”
I will be laughing my ass of to see what Jane and Joe troll say if it comes out that the reason that Fitzgerald is not going to charge Rove is because he became a RAT. Not that I mind.
I am still amazed at the lack of intellectual ability of the Busheeps who fail to see this is just one more episode in a long sequence of events that will end in history’s judging of W as he Worst president ever.
Hey if Rove works on the 08 race and wins he will be in charge again and again.Hmmmm. maybe this is how Rove can circumvent the constitution and be the puppet master for life. Yeah thats it. EVIL GENUIS. And Rove killed Kennedy. and HOFFAs buried in Roves backyard. and……and…….and BUSH WINS AGAIN ….HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Yes, Democrats have never been invested in corruption or “lies.” We’ll all just choose to forget say Tammany Hall, Union Thuggery, Big City Political Machines, that 12 of the 13 Congressman who’ve done time in the past 30 years were Democrats. We’ll just set that aside and plow on with the “truth” about Democrats. (Zero Credibility shills)
“Most Democrats are not OK with any of the above.” Does the name Marion Barry mean anything to you? CONVICTED Crackhead re-elected to orfice by dummicrats. Please name a CONVICTED Republican that was elected or re-elected to office. You set the bar too high for your own behavior.
how much has fitzmas cost in total?….i was slobberring over the prospect of a Rove frogmarch…now my mouth is dry with disappointment…was this a waste of time, money and dashed expectations?
I give up…the repugs can have this country…no way will the dems win the house or senate in 2006 and the pres in 2008…. this is a wasteland
Over my dead body eh……well self described killcon I’ll just bet you are not as brave as you type punk.I would just hate to stain your Che Guevarra T-shirtlittle fella. you are probably some high school kid on his mommies computer so i’ll just laugh and continue.
what idiots you leftards are
#133 Jane Troll (whore tool) Quote from George Bush in 2000, “I will restore honor and dignity to the White House.” So I guess that means that you honor lies, deceit, half-truths, complete falsehoods, scandal, corruption, intimidation, warrantless spying on millions of innocent Americans, etc. Not to mention a complete failure of any semblance of foreign policy or any vision for the future of this country. Unless, of course, you approve of these things. Then you must be dignified and proud of your fuhrer, Sieg Heil, Heir Bush!
#128 – “Please name a CONVICTED Republican that was elected or re-elected to office”
Oh, please. You’re talking about Washington DC, where NO Republican would EVER win for Mayor. You could run a piece of lint for the Democratic party in DC, and it would win. Based on Barry’s ethics, he should really be a Republican: drugs and sex. The two vices that republicans just live for.
How about you do one thing to support your case: name one OTHER convicted Democrat that has been elected r re-elected? Hmm?
I can, however, give you a list of convicted Republicans that is MUCH longer than any list of convicted Democrats. Try not to choke on your own bile.
evil you call Bush Hitler but do you realize that in Hitler’s world you would be lined up against a wall and shot for your traitorous words. Just beacuse you disagree with Bush does not mean you have to call him Hitler.grow up.
#138 Chris (O’Reilly): Where did I call Bush Hitler? I was inferring to the fact that this administration seems to be infatuated with controlling every aspect of our lives under the guise of freedom not unlike Nazi Germany in the ’30’s.
I’m grown up. That’s why I read and think for myself. You should try it sometime.
I think we are seeing the early stages of the demise of democracy. We have thieves and liars in the White House. They have sold our nation for profit. Their party has refused to challenge them. Chris, correct me if I am wrong, but the NYT story was not about outing the wiretapping of terrorists, but of using that program to gather information on all United States Citizens. Or are you suggesting that everyone in the US is a terrorits?
It’s sick that the trolls are enjoying suporting Rove. You’ve lost your way if you think Rove is worth supporting. Make sure to come back in November when the Dems take the House and started dragging your crooked idols before the American public to display their wicked deads.
How can the trolls love Mr. 33% so much? Blind selfish stupidity?
Dear troll #143. Learn how to spell. It’s Karl, not Carl. It’s lose, not loose. Your inability to communicate correctly reinforces the redneck dumbass conservative stereotype.
evil – yeah but you read all the wrong stuff tho! the communist manifesto is not viable political reading.
but it’s ok tho Rove has been cleared and a Kennedy has plead guilty to DUI and may be going to jail!!! maybe he can take his drunken, murdering fatsass father with him!
Rove cleared and a kennedy in jail…ah let me savor the moment….almost as good as 2004 when Bush won.
“Redneck” lol, that’s the sort of elitist drivel that had you Chardonnay sipping miscreants loosing the last two election cycles. Do yourselves a favor…put down the Petruli Oil, shitcan the Bush Lied, People Die Bumper Stickers and realize that the VAST majority of Americans despise you. Sure, talk your talk on the Upper East Side on Manhattan, Madison Wisconsin and San Francisco but never forget…we’re in the majority, always have been and always will be and better than that….We’re in power. Stuff that in your Clove Cigarette and smoke it.
It’s sick that the trolls are enjoying suporting Rove. You’ve lost your way if you think Rove is worth supporting. Make sure to come back in November when the Dems take the House and started dragging your crooked idols before the American public to display their wicked deads.
Dear troll #143. Learn how to spell.
Dear drz, why don’t you take your own advice, its deeds. You really need to lay off the koolaid if you really believe those polls at 33%. Or better yet, keep believing you have any chance in November of winning back either house.
Sorry to disappoint you liberals, but you were in over your heads on this one. Get used to that feeling in the pit of your stomach. Try to contain your hate. While you’re at it, ask yourself what targeting me has done for positive change for our country. Ask yourself what targeting me has done to protect Americans from terrorism. Ask yourself what continuing to target me will have any positive influence on America. Shame on you. I’ll see you at the polls.
Redneck†lol, that’s the sort of elitist drivel that had you Chardonnay sipping miscreants loosing the last two election cycles.
What is it with you knuckledraggers? The word is L-O-S-E! I’ve seen multiple postings by you guys using this word; for someone who uses it so much, I’d think you’d learn how to spell it by now. Sheesh!
This is proof of the war on Fitzmas. I was getting my hopes up too. Oh well, I’m still a moonbat anyway. This is so depressing even Ann Coulter is looking pretty sexy right now.
#146 Chris (O’Reilly): Once again I never said anything about communist manifesto. You did. Maybe that was a Freudian slip or maybe that is what kind of government and country you really want. One where everyone has to follow the same line. Has to read what is only heavily censored for them.
As far as “drunken” “Kennedy’s” are concerned they are personal problems that they will deal with personally. Just as each of us do each day. Being intoxicated and hitting a barrier hardly affects national policy. Just a George Bush’s coke use and his crashing his car through a hedge didn’t affect national policy. Just embarrassing personal moments that people either learn and grow from or they continue to abuse their privileges and destroy everything they come into contact with (remind you of anyone?).
I always keep a sense of humor, even in the worst of circumstances. And this, my friend is not the worst of circumstances. I’m not surprised the Rover didn’t have to roll over. C’mon, he’s untouchable.
Lets talk about that for a while. At least the Kennedys abuse themselves instead of this country and other world countries. I bet it would be fun hangin around with the Kennedys, gettin loaded, cruisin chicks(don’t drive them in any cars), more fun than hangin with Dead Eye Dick, Hot Karl Rove, and Cuttin Brush with Bush. Oh yeah what was with that Kennedy guy a while back, he said he was up a tree jacking off and thats how his sperm got on that dead chick, that’s a pretty good one.
The most satisfying part about the last couple months isn’t Rove or CA 50th or Zarqawi. It’s watching Democratic politicians sell out their brethren on the far left. Watch them simply roll over on NSA, Judges, Paul Hackett etc. It’s fun to tune in the next day and hear the beautiful silence or better, the far left thrusting their hands in the air lamenting how they “did it to us again.” That’s the fun part, it’s flat out wonderful. Sure they had the hopes set on this Rove thing and it’s gone now, just like the others BUT the far left still had Diebold and Haditha to keep those home fires burning. We can all sit around, log on and watch those two things vaporize into thin air and enjoy a hearty chuckle when they do. Think of the far left like a “Hippie Zoo.” Where the animals think they’re smarter than their keepers. Poke at them, feed them even, take some snapshots….”look mommy it’s a chickenhawk.” hahah. Oh, what a great day.
You’re right…lOsing. Repeat that in your sleep and hang a neon sign on your neck that says losing. It’s a way of life for you folks now.
Comment by Jim — June 13, 2006 @ 2:19 pm
Then will you be able to spell it? How many soldiers died this week in Iraq? They are the ones who are “loosing,” while you comfortably crow about Rove. Have fun with your momentary “victory.” One chickenhawk crowing about another doesn’t mean much in the historical context of a failed political policy. The war in Iraq was wrong. You are wrong. Accept your responsibility. We have; for the innocent dead and dying caused by our government.
I have thought about it and you know what, Clinton never did get a majority of the popular vote in either election, but because of the electoral college, was elected president. Now, the same thing happens in 2000 and you are upset. I think we both know that in 2000, the supreme court was by no means considered conservative or were cronies of Bush. They correctly resolved the issue. You and your friends really do need to move on and try really hard this time to put together an agenda as to why anyone will vote for your side in ‘08.
The conservatives are right. We should just give up ever having representation in government and we should give Republicans whatever power over our lives they want.
The thing with blowhards is when you confront them with a uncomfortable topic, they ignore you. Case in point, my mention of the possibility of the Wilsons bringing a civil suit against Rove. The fact that no wingnut replied tells me this is exactly what they fear. The lowered standards of a civil suit would bring out all the dirt. Why isn’t our resident wingnut “attorney” giving us an opinion? Scared?
as reminded by randi rhodes – this only shows that rove 1. either got away with it, or 2. he’s gonna be a rat… regardless, he still told matt cooper about plame, therefore outing a cia operative…
we need to hear from fitzgerald… we need to see the actual letter to luskin from fitzgerald… we need more information…
Doh! I eagerly await Jason Leopold to out his sources. I also await pigs to fly.
Comment by Seixon — June 13, 2006 @ 3:33 pm
Coming from a conservative, about a case of outing a CIA operative for republican political gain, this is either the most hypocritical or the most hysterically yet unintentionally humorous statement I’ve read today. Congrats.
funny in a hypocritical sort of way the “progressives†want to go after someone(anyone) for outing a CIA operative yet they think the communist NYTimes story outing the NSA wiretapping of terrorists is just fine and dandy. Just goes to show what traitorous hypocritical bastards the left wingers in America have become!
I remember the old phrase from the 60’s when I was a kid ..â€America, love it or leave itâ€. since I know that the so called progressives will not be happy until they turn America into a third world socialist shit hole I suggest they all take the latter option.
Comment by Chris — June 13, 2006 @ 10:47 am
Bush himself “outed” the wiretapping and tracking of terrorists on several occasions. Idiot.
So I guess all those times I announed he was going down, I was a bad journalist. Damn it. Guess now I have to live with the guilt for not apologizing. How will I manage?

Coming from a conservative, about a case of outing a CIA operative for republican political gain, this is either the most hypocritical or the most hysterically yet unintentionally humorous statement I’ve read today. Congrats.
1. I’m not a conservative. 2. Jason, himself, said a month ago that he would out his sources if he was wrong. 3. How did the Republicans gain from the outing of Plame AT ALL? Isn’t it exactly the reverse? The only ones who actually gained anything from this are the Democrats and even the Wilsons themselves.
So pardon me for letting you know that you are (a) ignorant of the facts and (b) hilariously delusional.
Why, if he isn’t prosecuting, does he refuse to issue a statement?
He hasn’t issued a statement for any number of people that were rumored to be facing an indictment. In fact, the only statement he has given is when he indicted Libby. So why would he be making any statements for NOT indicting Rove? Because you want him to? Sorry, it appears that Mr. Fitzgerald is a bit more professional and busy with other more important matters than debunking Jason Leopold.
With that said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Fitzgerald released a statement tomorrow on this due to the intense news coverage by the mainstream media.
Barfly, You forget the WHOLE impetus behind this investigation was that if anyone had violated the covert protection act and guess what? Fitzgerald could not indict ANYBODY for that crime because (and hold onto your tinfoil hat) Valerie Plame was not a covert agent. All these fantasies of perp walks, indictments, and perceived crimes were all made up in your (and Wilson’s) mind. Fitzgerald’s case against Libby is so flimsy that he risks having it thrown out before the trial. I can’t wait until the judge tosses that one so you m0onb@+5 can really go nuts.
Come on guys, put down the Kool Aid for a minute and review the long list of “Evidence†you have against Karl Rove. Does it even pass the giggle test?

Retarded Repulsivescum cancreSore,
Prove yourself here…
…what do YOU know about the situation with Karl “Bushiva’s dog” Rove(r), L’il Dick and Valerie Plame?
If you can present a cogent enough defense of your position on why Bushiva/L’il Dick and Rove(r) shouldn’t be held accountable for TREASON…
#173…Mr. Evil…The word you are looking for is “plurality,” not “majority.” By definition, a majority must be more than half. Clinton won a plurality of the vote in 1992 and 1996.
Damn, and double damn. Unless, of course, Rove turned state’s evidence and Fitz is working up the food chain. Otherwise, mankind really is doomed, as there is no God…
June 13th, 2006 at 7:14 amwell I just cant wait to hear in what context Rove has not been indicted? Was it because the President and Vice President both decided they would release (leak) the name of the Agent?
June 13th, 2006 at 7:16 amIm not looking for a warrant for the arrest of those who serve in the White House but the notion that there was something like this going on in an attempt to smear political oppostion.
Bottom line here? There were no WMD’s to be found, the White House cant say theu were not told, and someone sure told who told em? Mrs valerie Plame’s husbamd….

June 13th, 2006 at 7:21 am#4, I agree. Rove has turned on Cheney. All evidence pointed to the fact that Rove lied about his conversation with Matt Cooper and was one of Novak’s sources. Fitz is looking for a bigger fish.

June 13th, 2006 at 8:06 amKarl Rove has actually become an asset to us and a detriment to the White Hose because of his inability to change the downhill slump of Bush’s popularity and his policies.

June 13th, 2006 at 8:25 amWill Fitzgerald next be dropping charges against “Scooter” Libby? This looks like another case of justice being stood on its head.
June 13th, 2006 at 8:26 amMY OH MY. WELL OH WELL. DEAR FSM. I ALSO OWN TREASURY BONDS. SO PLEASE PAY ME.
June 13th, 2006 at 8:29 am“In deference to the pending case, we will not make any further public statements about the subject matter of the investigation,” Luskin said.
It’s terribly, predictably, pathetic.

June 13th, 2006 at 8:50 amKARL ROVE IS DEAD WEIGHT TO THIS BUSH WHITE HOUSE.
June 13th, 2006 at 8:51 amWelcome to the United States of Assholes.
June 13th, 2006 at 8:53 amClearly, karl rove is NOT dead weight, and the justice department, which acts as the administration’s pace-maker, keeping it ticking, realized as much.

June 13th, 2006 at 9:08 am#51, “I think we are seeing the early stages of the demise of democracy.”

It is, nonetheless, fun to think about.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:40 amjoe and jane:
you hurled the firts insult.
if you have nothing nice to say, please take the advice of my signature…
June 13th, 2006 at 9:40 amlet me see if I can have this straight.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:42 amthats it….here kitty kitty kitty
June 13th, 2006 at 9:44 ammy apologies Jane and john troll. I quit the 3rd grader stuff a long time ago.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:45 am#64 “come on ot losers. start callin people names. hurl a few insults at everybody.”
jane the hate-monger…Sometimes the truth is as simple as that.
And for God’s sake, get some medication!
June 13th, 2006 at 9:46 amthats it turn your hatred toward me. i love it
June 13th, 2006 at 9:50 amWell, well, well.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:51 amyou read every word I write litlle kenny
June 13th, 2006 at 9:52 amfitzmoron will next team up with that idiot going after the lacross team at duke
June 13th, 2006 at 9:54 amso glad am i that brother Rove can continue his mission to destroy democracy. much easier than we expected it has been to hasten the death of america. praise to allah for making the american infidels so stupid.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:56 ambe a man. take it on the chin. dust yourself off. a few concepts unheard of on the left.
Comment by jane troll #57
calamity (jane trollop),
what do YOU know about being a “man”?
…this isn’t a “sad” day for the left…
…nor a “great day for America”…
…this is a day when perhaps billions around the globe affirm…
…their perception of just how cancerous the right wing is on the global community…
…humanity, justice, and TRUTH are today’s casualties…
…your “victory” is political…
…but you have NO IDEA what you’ve lost…
…REALLY…
June 13th, 2006 at 9:56 amTank — there will be no lessons learned on this web site. ever.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:56 amDenying the obvious is pathetic. Leopold was clearly manipulated by operatives like yourself so you could tell these kinds of lies.
Well that just leaves the question of who clearly manipulated Leopold in every other instance where he has invented stories to report then been found out and fired for it over the course of his career.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:58 amthanks for validating me big papa
June 13th, 2006 at 9:58 amIn the words of the immortal Louis Wu: “TANJ”.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:59 am#69 Thanks for reminding people about that – Zarqawi. Z was a local punk and undeserving of our attention, but this administration created the opportunity for his leadership and celebrated his reign in order to maximize the PR value from his elimination. Creating fame for him rallied more people to the opposition, which strikes me as giving aid to the enemy.
June 13th, 2006 at 9:59 amI’m willing to accept that Leopold may have been part of the plan to undermine the internet, but it doesn’t matter because it all points to the underlying motivation behind the timing of this act.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:00 am“All I got for Fitzmas was my teeth kicked in…”
Rove is a weasle, and he weasled his way out of this. I wonder who he had to throw under the bus? I hope it was Cheney. I hope Cheney invites Rove to go hunting too.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:01 amTake a look at the Bush dictatorship as a whole.
Think about what has been done by these thugs through their butt-hole buddies in Congress. Their control over everything didn’t just happen.
Nor did repeated fraud or THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IT.
This has been the biggest scam ever pulled on The United States in it’s history.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:02 amAnd it’s not planning on stopping any time soon.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:04 amDenying the obvious is pathetic.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:05 amThe dems have never lost an election. they were all stolen! Damn!!
June 13th, 2006 at 10:06 amIt really doesn’t surprise me that Karl Rove won’t be indicted.
November isn’t far away.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:08 amOK, so now that the “ongoing investigation” is no longer ongoing, will the White House answer questions about Rove, as promised?
http://blogdebogs.blogspot.com/2006/06/rove-dodges-bullet-nation-faces-more.html
June 13th, 2006 at 10:08 amQuite a good point Pete Bogs. Let’s hammer the white house and if they fail to respond, let’s hammer them for that.
The MSM won’t but they aren’t the ones with credibility.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:10 amOK, so now that the “ongoing investigation†is no longer ongoing, will the White House answer questions about Rove, as promised?
Comment by Pete Bogs
Snowflake: Helen, the Rove investigation is old news, can we just move on to something more current?
June 13th, 2006 at 10:14 amMother of God can’t you guys win a SINGLE battle???? Between Rove, CA 50th and Zarqawi what’s next??
June 13th, 2006 at 10:14 amI am with all the commenters who say that Rover boy has rolled over on someone else, probably Cheney, in order to get the special prosecutor to drop the charges.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:16 amnow i have heard it all
June 13th, 2006 at 10:22 amWhat’s funny is that the LLL m0ob@+ fever swamp already convicted Karl Rove based on NOTHING.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:23 amNo…Cheney will NOT resign!
June 13th, 2006 at 10:24 am#93 – that’s EXACTLY the point I make in my post today… they stalled, and now they’ll just call it old news…
June 13th, 2006 at 10:27 amThe very best part of Rove not being prosecuted is watching the “star” of that comedy show Countdown kieth olbermann just meltdown!! I love it !! herr olberman , the big ornage blockhead has been salivating over the idea of Rove going to jail. now they will have to change the name of the show from countdown to meltdown and it’s hilarious.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:31 amOlbermann is a real nutjob and now what little credibility he had was gone.
so much for the republican culture of corruption.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:33 am#99 – I just read your blog entry — that’s so cool! We of the great minds…
June 13th, 2006 at 10:34 amUntil you see the letter from fitz to luskin, all you are doing is reacting to news reports of statements made by rove’s attorney.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:36 am“November isn’t far away.”
As it the liberals and democrats in the U.S. aren’t morally bankrupt? Right now there isn’t really much of a decent choice.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:38 amjoe wilson tried to channel j edgar hoover with his tinfoil hat. he’s hilarious
June 13th, 2006 at 10:40 am#103 Rove will not be indicted.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:44 amfunny in a hypocritical sort of way the “progressives” want to go after someone(anyone) for outing a CIA operative yet they think the communist NYTimes story outing the NSA wiretapping of terrorists is just fine and dandy. Just goes to show what traitorous hypocritical bastards the left wingers in America have become!
June 13th, 2006 at 10:47 amI remember the old phrase from the 60’s when I was a kid ..”America, love it or leave it”. since I know that the so called progressives will not be happy until they turn America into a third world socialist shit hole I suggest they all take the latter option.

June 13th, 2006 at 10:52 amTotally agree!

June 13th, 2006 at 10:53 amHere’s the bottom-line… Most Republicans are OK with lies, corruption, no morals/ethics, lawlessness, greed and will fight at the drop of a hat for a belief (however wrong or based on lies and falsehoods).
June 13th, 2006 at 10:53 amThis is all propaganda. Rove is not cleared. The GOP is in trouble and there are only one or two IP addresses making all this troll shit here.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:55 amGood advice ardee #110. The sooner we realize that the system is broken and won’t be fixing itself, the better. We the people need to take our country back. Too bad the media are in bed with the powerbrokers (in fact, they’re one in the same). Also too bad that a big hunk of the citizenry remains ignorant & apathetic.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:56 amwho gives a shit what christopher wolf has to say about anything?
June 13th, 2006 at 10:57 amSorry for the delay in returning your quips. I was day trading. It’s easy paying capital gains taxes when all I do is type on my keyboard. You TPers gotta learn to do something more prodctive on the computer than bitch. Oh yeah BUSH WINS again.
June 13th, 2006 at 10:57 amTo all the trolls just relishing in the death of America…
SUCK IT UP YOUR ASSES!
WE WILL STOP ROVE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!
June 13th, 2006 at 10:57 amcome on killcon wipe away those tears. be a man or as near to it as possible
June 13th, 2006 at 10:59 amthey are afraid of you joe
June 13th, 2006 at 11:01 amI never had any faith in Leopold’s reporting about Rove, but this latest news doesn’t prove or disprove the basic question of whether Fitzgerald was ready to indict Rove. It’s quite likely Rove has cut a deal of some sort. It’s quite possible that Fitz’s letter to Luskin, which hasn’t been made public as far as I can tell, says something along the lines of “as long as you cooperate as promised you’re ass is safe for now.”
June 13th, 2006 at 11:04 amI will be laughing my ass of to see what Jane and Joe troll say if it comes out that the reason that Fitzgerald is not going to charge Rove is because he became a RAT. Not that I mind.
I am still amazed at the lack of intellectual ability of the Busheeps who fail to see this is just one more episode in a long sequence of events that will end in history’s judging of W as he Worst president ever.
June 13th, 2006 at 11:05 amHey if Rove works on the 08 race and wins he will be in charge again and again.Hmmmm. maybe this is how Rove can circumvent the constitution and be the puppet master for life. Yeah thats it. EVIL GENUIS. And Rove killed Kennedy. and HOFFAs buried in Roves backyard. and……and…….and BUSH WINS AGAIN ….HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
June 13th, 2006 at 11:05 amcling to it
June 13th, 2006 at 11:06 amYes, Democrats have never been invested in corruption or “lies.” We’ll all just choose to forget say Tammany Hall, Union Thuggery, Big City Political Machines, that 12 of the 13 Congressman who’ve done time in the past 30 years were Democrats. We’ll just set that aside and plow on with the “truth” about Democrats. (Zero Credibility shills)
June 13th, 2006 at 11:08 amLets talk about “Sealed vs Sealed”. My bet is “United States vs Dick Cheney”.
Rove is a small fish in the game when you consider who Cheney is and who is behind him.
Fitz has flipped Rove.
June 13th, 2006 at 11:08 amHey wackjob. Cheney isn’t going to be indicted. Go pleasure yourself to the latest Mark Crispin Miller tome.
June 13th, 2006 at 11:11 amWhere is the letter that Luskin is talking about? How come we have not seen it?
June 13th, 2006 at 11:21 am#122
You forgot four of the Keating Five were dems.
June 13th, 2006 at 11:23 amjim, facts will always be ignored here. but you go boy. we love them
June 13th, 2006 at 11:24 am“Most Democrats are not OK with any of the above.” Does the name Marion Barry mean anything to you? CONVICTED Crackhead re-elected to orfice by dummicrats. Please name a CONVICTED Republican that was elected or re-elected to office. You set the bar too high for your own behavior.
June 13th, 2006 at 11:34 am#124
Cheney is a Nazi. A real fascist, like his brownboy Rummy.
Problem is you Repugs dont understand who you are dealing with.
Want to see your military privatized and outsources to stormtrooper front companies like Blackwater USA?
Is that your idea of what a Republic looks like, an Imperial Nazi Waffen SS, masquerading as a democracy?
You are either misinformed idiots or sympathetic fascists yourselves. Take your pick asshole.
June 13th, 2006 at 11:43 amhow much has fitzmas cost in total?….i was slobberring over the prospect of a Rove frogmarch…now my mouth is dry with disappointment…was this a waste of time, money and dashed expectations?
I give up…the repugs can have this country…no way will the dems win the house or senate in 2006 and the pres in 2008…. this is a wasteland
June 13th, 2006 at 11:45 amFor all the latest PlameGate domestic spying news, legal documents, statutes and more, see:
June 13th, 2006 at 11:52 am“The CIA Leak/PlameGate Scandal Resources.”
People need to keep sight of the bigger picture here.
The global monetary financial system is collapsing.
Cheney wants to start WW3 and go for war and dictatorship (courtesy of his friends at Bechtel, KBR and Halliburton).
Rove just wants to get Bush re-elected.
Who is more important right now, Rove or Cheney?
Yeah, it would be beautiful to see Rove go down, but national security and world peace trump personal gratification.
June 13th, 2006 at 11:54 amanon is about to implode and follow neal to the other side. psst…bush is not running for office
June 13th, 2006 at 11:58 ambout time i shut down this stupid thread
June 13th, 2006 at 12:17 pmOver my dead body eh……well self described killcon I’ll just bet you are not as brave as you type punk.I would just hate to stain your Che Guevarra T-shirtlittle fella. you are probably some high school kid on his mommies computer so i’ll just laugh and continue.
June 13th, 2006 at 12:18 pmwhat idiots you leftards are
#133 Jane Troll (whore tool) Quote from George Bush in 2000, “I will restore honor and dignity to the White House.” So I guess that means that you honor lies, deceit, half-truths, complete falsehoods, scandal, corruption, intimidation, warrantless spying on millions of innocent Americans, etc. Not to mention a complete failure of any semblance of foreign policy or any vision for the future of this country. Unless, of course, you approve of these things. Then you must be dignified and proud of your fuhrer, Sieg Heil, Heir Bush!
June 13th, 2006 at 12:27 pm#128 – “Please name a CONVICTED Republican that was elected or re-elected to office”
June 13th, 2006 at 12:28 pmevil you call Bush Hitler but do you realize that in Hitler’s world you would be lined up against a wall and shot for your traitorous words. Just beacuse you disagree with Bush does not mean you have to call him Hitler.grow up.
June 13th, 2006 at 12:30 pm#135 Chris: I hope you swallow a turd. A fitting meal for a fascist bootlicker!
June 13th, 2006 at 12:32 pm#138 Chris (O’Reilly): Where did I call Bush Hitler? I was inferring to the fact that this administration seems to be infatuated with controlling every aspect of our lives under the guise of freedom not unlike Nazi Germany in the ’30’s.
I’m grown up. That’s why I read and think for myself. You should try it sometime.
June 13th, 2006 at 12:37 pmHave fun in iraq joe troll! dont forget your sunblock!
June 13th, 2006 at 12:40 pmNo, we’re seeing the late stages. The early stages happened behind closed doors long ago.
funny in a hypocritical sort of way the “progressives†want to go after someone(anyone) for outing a CIA operative yet they think the communist NYTimes story outing the NSA wiretapping of terrorists is just fine and dandy. Just goes to show what traitorous hypocritical bastards the left wingers in America have become!

Comment by Chris — June 13, 2006 @ 10:47 am
Chris, correct me if I am wrong, but the NYT story was not about outing the wiretapping of terrorists, but of using that program to gather information on all United States Citizens. Or are you suggesting that everyone in the US is a terrorits?
June 13th, 2006 at 1:06 pmHOOORAY!!!! Now Carl can get back to kicking some Dem ass.
I am so bummed out I did not get here to gloat sooner. Thanks Joe and Jane for picking up the slack.
What a great day to be a conservative. This news goes to show how full of shite TP is when they claim they know anything.
I love watching you loose over and over and over. I am so looking forward to November. Remember this lesson leftards and dont count your chickens.
June 13th, 2006 at 1:14 pmIt’s sick that the trolls are enjoying suporting Rove. You’ve lost your way if you think Rove is worth supporting. Make sure to come back in November when the Dems take the House and started dragging your crooked idols before the American public to display their wicked deads.
How can the trolls love Mr. 33% so much? Blind selfish stupidity?
June 13th, 2006 at 1:15 pmDear troll #143. Learn how to spell. It’s Karl, not Carl. It’s lose, not loose. Your inability to communicate correctly reinforces the redneck dumbass conservative stereotype.
June 13th, 2006 at 1:18 pmevil – yeah but you read all the wrong stuff tho! the communist manifesto is not viable political reading.
but it’s ok tho Rove has been cleared and a Kennedy has plead guilty to DUI and may be going to jail!!! maybe he can take his drunken, murdering fatsass father with him!
June 13th, 2006 at 1:33 pmRove cleared and a kennedy in jail…ah let me savor the moment….almost as good as 2004 when Bush won.
This half blind conservative redneck dumbass obviously was smart enough to call this one right and you got it wrong leftard.
Ha Ha!!!
June 13th, 2006 at 1:35 pm“Redneck” lol, that’s the sort of elitist drivel that had you Chardonnay sipping miscreants loosing the last two election cycles.
June 13th, 2006 at 1:49 pmIt’s sick that the trolls are enjoying suporting Rove.
June 13th, 2006 at 1:57 pmDemocrats – winning a political race… now THAT’s funny.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:02 pmNow lets talk about a civil suit. Will the Wilsons now sue Rove in civil court? The burden of proof is much lower, and discovery would be a bitch, no?
June 13th, 2006 at 2:02 pmSorry to disappoint you liberals, but you were in over your heads on this one.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:05 pmRedneck†lol, that’s the sort of elitist drivel that had you Chardonnay sipping miscreants loosing the last two election cycles.
What is it with you knuckledraggers? The word is L-O-S-E! I’ve seen multiple postings by you guys using this word; for someone who uses it so much, I’d think you’d learn how to spell it by now. Sheesh!
June 13th, 2006 at 2:10 pmThis is proof of the war on Fitzmas. I was getting my hopes up too. Oh well, I’m still a moonbat anyway. This is so depressing even Ann Coulter is looking pretty sexy right now.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:11 pm152, Hot Karl,
Dammit if it wasn’t for those meddling kids, we would have got you!
June 13th, 2006 at 2:13 pmI’m tired of losing, I’m gonna become a Publican.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:14 pmYou’re right…lOsing. Repeat that in your sleep and hang a neon sign on your neck that says losing. It’s a way of life for you folks now.

The first thing you’ll have to learn is republicans spell it L-O-O-S-I-N-G!
June 13th, 2006 at 2:22 pmThe epitome of “having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.”
June 13th, 2006 at 2:22 pm#155
Its nice to see that you haven’t lost your sense of humor.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:22 pmWell Jimmy,
How about all liberals and Dems just go away. I am sure your world would be perfect. I think you should try a one party system, oh wait, you are now.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:23 pm#146 Chris (O’Reilly): Once again I never said anything about communist manifesto.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:24 pmRandy,
I always keep a sense of humor, even in the worst of circumstances. And this, my friend is not the worst of circumstances. I’m not surprised the Rover didn’t have to roll over. C’mon, he’s untouchable.

Who won in 1992, 1996 and 2000? Think about it. Our president is supposed to be duly elected by the people, not appointed by supreme court cronies.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:28 pmAhh yes, drunken, Ambien, Kennedy’s.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:31 pm#159 troll: Once again nothing original to say. Just use old drug-addled Rush Limbaugh’s drek from his rectal database.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:32 pmThe most satisfying part about the last couple months isn’t Rove or CA 50th or Zarqawi.

June 13th, 2006 at 2:34 pm#164
I have thought about it and you know what, Clinton never did get a majority of the popular vote in either election, but because of the electoral college, was elected president. Now, the same thing happens in 2000 and you are upset. I think we both know that in 2000, the supreme court was by no means considered conservative or were cronies of Bush. They correctly resolved the issue. You and your friends really do need to move on and try really hard this time to put together an agenda as to why anyone will vote for your side in ‘08.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:36 pmJim why can’t you just shut your mouth, please. I am disgusted by the putrid, rotting smegma oozing from it.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:41 pmJim just wants to rub it in, tell him a little more to the left, and harder.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:45 pmit’s still safer to go hunting with Cheney than to ride with a kennedy!
June 13th, 2006 at 2:56 pm#169 Randy: Hmmmm… let’s see:
1992
Clinton 43.01%
Bush (daddy) 37.45%
Perot 18.91%
Others 0.63%
Clear majority of the votes cast.
1996
Clinton 49.23%
Dole 40.72%
Perot 8.40%
Others 1.65%
Clear majority of the votes cast.
2000
Gore 48.38%
Bush (dummy)47.87%
Others 3.75%
Clear majority of the votes cast.
What don’t you understand about the meaning of the word majority? Believe it or not there are more than 2 political parties in this country.
June 13th, 2006 at 2:57 pmMr. Evil…….these are dark times for your kind. Don’t shoot the messanger.
June 13th, 2006 at 3:27 pmIn short: Rove’s in even more trouble than we thought.
Posted by Judd April 28, 2006 6:24 pm
No Judd, George Soros, John Podesta and you are in trouble for going way too far out on a limb. Judd’s credibilty? A big ZERO. Bwhahahahahahahahaha!
June 13th, 2006 at 3:28 pmDoh! I eagerly await Jason Leopold to out his sources. I also await pigs to fly.
June 13th, 2006 at 3:33 pmThe conservatives are right. We should just give up ever having representation in government and we should give Republicans whatever power over our lives they want.
June 13th, 2006 at 3:34 pmThe thing with blowhards is when you confront them with a uncomfortable topic, they ignore you. Scared?
June 13th, 2006 at 3:46 pmIts more likely Wilson would be defending a slander suit.
June 13th, 2006 at 3:50 pmas reminded by randi rhodes – this only shows that rove 1. either got away with it, or 2. he’s gonna be a rat… regardless, he still told matt cooper about plame, therefore outing a cia operative…
we need to hear from fitzgerald… we need to see the actual letter to luskin from fitzgerald… we need more information…
June 13th, 2006 at 3:50 pmDoh! I eagerly await Jason Leopold to out his sources. I also await pigs to fly.

Coming from a conservative, about a case of outing a CIA operative for republican political gain, this is either the most hypocritical or the most hysterically yet unintentionally humorous statement I’ve read today. Congrats.
June 13th, 2006 at 3:56 pmIts more likely Wilson would be defending a slander suit.

Lets get them both on the stand; see who the jury feels is the guilty party – I’d love to see Rove testify in open court, wouldn’t you?
June 13th, 2006 at 3:58 pm#175 Jim: BTW, that’s m-e-s-s-E-n-g-e-r, not m-e-s-s-A-n-g-e-r.
Sorry Jim, learn how to spell.
June 13th, 2006 at 4:23 pmfunny in a hypocritical sort of way the “progressives†want to go after someone(anyone) for outing a CIA operative yet they think the communist NYTimes story outing the NSA wiretapping of terrorists is just fine and dandy.
Idiot.
June 13th, 2006 at 4:31 pmId love to see Wilson lose a few million and Rove score another victory. Yup.
June 13th, 2006 at 4:31 pmSo I guess all those times I announed he was going down, I was a bad journalist. Damn it. Guess now I have to live with the guilt for not apologizing. How will I manage?
June 13th, 2006 at 4:37 pm[...] Karl Rove will not be prosecutedThink Progress, DC - 9 hours ago… CBS News: A lawyer for senior White House official Karl Rove says prosecutors have decided not to charge him with any crimes in the CIA leak investigation … [...]
June 13th, 2006 at 4:51 pmYour victory lap might be premature, wingnuts. Fitzgerald still isn’t commenting. Why, if he isn’t prosecuting, does he refuse to issue a statement?
June 13th, 2006 at 5:13 pmBarfly,
Coming from a conservative, about a case of outing a CIA operative for republican political gain, this is either the most hypocritical or the most hysterically yet unintentionally humorous statement I’ve read today. Congrats.
June 13th, 2006 at 5:20 pmBarfly,
Why, if he isn’t prosecuting, does he refuse to issue a statement?
He hasn’t issued a statement for any number of people that were rumored to be facing an indictment. In fact, the only statement he has given is when he indicted Libby. So why would he be making any statements for NOT indicting Rove? Because you want him to? Sorry, it appears that Mr. Fitzgerald is a bit more professional and busy with other more important matters than debunking Jason Leopold.
With that said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Fitzgerald released a statement tomorrow on this due to the intense news coverage by the mainstream media.
June 13th, 2006 at 5:24 pmBarfly, You forget the WHOLE impetus behind this investigation was that if anyone had violated the covert protection act and guess what? Fitzgerald could not indict ANYBODY for that crime because (and hold onto your tinfoil hat) Valerie Plame was not a covert agent. All these fantasies of perp walks, indictments, and perceived crimes were all made up in your (and Wilson’s) mind. Fitzgerald’s case against Libby is so flimsy that he risks having it thrown out before the trial. I can’t wait until the judge tosses that one so you m0onb@+5 can really go nuts.
June 13th, 2006 at 6:09 pm…How did the Republicans gain from the outing of Plame AT ALL?

Because he will make that decision to do so when he sees fit, not when Chucky Schumer demands it.
June 14th, 2006 at 10:13 amCome on guys, put down the Kool Aid for a minute and review the long list of “Evidence†you have against Karl Rove. Does it even pass the giggle test?

Prove yourself here…
…what do YOU know about the situation with Karl “Bushiva’s dog” Rove(r), L’il Dick and Valerie Plame?
If you can present a cogent enough defense of your position on why Bushiva/L’il Dick and Rove(r) shouldn’t be held accountable for TREASON…
…I’ll never return to this site… EVER…

June 14th, 2006 at 10:40 am#173…Mr. Evil…The word you are looking for is “plurality,” not “majority.” By definition, a majority must be more than half. Clinton won a plurality of the vote in 1992 and 1996.
You should apologize to Randy. He was correct.
