I was actually impressed by everyone’s performance on the show. As a hardcore conserberal (I have liberal ideals and conservative values), I think the entire show was outstanding.

George was George and did a good bit.

Ann was Ann and said her piece.

You may have noted that neither of them attacked the other. Bravo! The only one who blew it was Leno during the monologue when he pointed out that the audience was full of right-wingers. It blew his cover as “unbiased” since he’s never pointed out the lefties during all of the Bush-bashing he’s done.

I think that there’s a bit too much name-calling going on about this. I always loved Carlin because of his irreverant act but I stopped being a fan when he went from irreverant to spiteful. He gained some points by being polite, being a man, and not attacking a woman.

Too many on the left fail to give respect where it’s due. Both in sports and warfare, worthy adversaries always acknowledge one another. You have at least acknowledge that Ms. Coulter has guts. It takes backbone to go into the lair of the enemy like she did on Real Time with Bill Maher, The Today Show, AND appear with George Carlin. She even acknowledged that George was smarter than the average liberal.

I missed the show, could care less for Ann Coulter. Next time Carlin should appear in drag and we won’t know which is which until the real Ann Coulter spews venom from her butthole.

I happen to know that that sex change gone wrong by the name of Ann Coulter papered the Tonight Show audience with her people, hence the “cheers” she received. I know this, as in it is not a guess (insider trading, so to speak). The only way that bitch gets support is to bring her crowd with her like a rock band with its groupies (and this is part of her deal when appearing in a potentially unfriendly environment, such as California where The Tonight Show is filmed — trust me, there are zero Californians that support that poor excuse for a transvestite). After the show, Ann’s groupies all got together and gave Ann a blow job so they could get backstage.

Apparently, the only way liberals can deal with Ann Coulter is to post adhominem nonsense to comment boards. This is, in poker, referred to as tipping your hand. Ad hominem argumentation is nothing more than an admittance that you can’t respond properly to her arguments. Liberals are angry now that Conservative have gotten their fill of years of beliitling, badmouthing and marginalization of a MAJORITY of the country. America has had it with such crap and Ann is in the forefront of Americans handing liberals their butts on their vacuous arguments, such as they are, and their failed programs hailed for their intent. The amount of money we’ve collectively wasted as a nation on liberal programs should go down as an all time hall of shame. The grand experiment of liberalism has failed. And the country is the better for shaking it off, taking a bath and going on. We have plenty of nasty shills to listen to from enemies overseas. We don’t have to put up with it here. Annie did good. And despite all the nonsense about Carlin destroying Ann. Sure he did. wink. Had as much to say as all the liberals commenting here – nothing.

I saw the Tonight Show when Ann Coulter and George Carlin appeared together. I was infuriated when she initially made her comments on Matt’s Lauer’s stage, but you know, she really has nothing else to say, so the second time I saw her, it really didn’t bother me. Even Jay Leno considered her remarks nasty.

As far as George Carlin goes, he said not one word in response. Thank you George for not giving her an opportunity to blow her hot air. She’s not worthy of debate.

Too many politicians and commenatators today don’t have a clue how to debate, and that’s on both sides of the aisle, left-wing morons or right-wing morons. All they know how to to do is spew their leftist or right wing pablum and ignore what is said to them. This extends to blogs and comments to them as well.

Me?, I’d be a democrat if it weren’t for the influence of groups like ANSWER and MoveOn, I’d be a republican if it weren’t for the religious right. I think anyone, whether “progressive” “neo-con” “conservative” “liberal”, basically anyone who just KNOWS they are right and the other side is “evil”, is a fool. Who thinks GEs defense contracts might have a bearing on NBC decision to air Coulter? GE owns NBC. Doubt all the calls in the world will shake this from its moorings. How about this instead: call or write boards of the companies that air ads during this time and mobilize a mass boycott of their products as long as they continue to subsidize this trash? They won’t get it until their wallets do.
p.s. Arianna Huffington could whoop Coulter in a heartbeat. Can they really be confusing “debate” with her shout tactics and vile propaganda? Must be.
