Justice is done. Even if it still has yet to work it’s way round to more in the Bush administration. Who will be next to meet their well deserved fate?

  4. Mass Revolution Now! » Blog Archive » Someone Connected to the White House is FINALLY Convicted says:

[...] David Safavian, the former chief of staff of the General Services Administration and OMB employee, has been convicted on four counts of obstruction and making false statements.  Safavian is connected to the Abramoff scandal that continues to infect Washington D.C.   Safavian lied about his knowledge of Abramoff’s dealings with the GSA.  There is legal trouble surrounding the entire White House.  So much for Bush bringing back dignity and respect to the Oval Office.  Clinton was a moron who engaged in illicit sex acts, Bush is a moron who has sent innocent people to death in a war in which he lied his way in to.  There has been a change indeed.   [link] [...]

Why do I suspect this guy’s not all that worried, as he’ll be pardoned before doing day 1 of jail time? Sorry to rain on the parade folks, but don’t we all know that’s bound to happen?

  6. ElectricBassPlayer says:

Well, at least someone, somewhere, is convicted of something. It’s too bad we have to settle for the little fish when the sharks are still ruining the country. (Score another victory for hypocrisy: Conservatives screaming about trial lawyers while using their own to manipulate the system with legal technicalities and so-called expert testimony.)

The whole Neoconservative crime syndicate should be arrested and put on trial in an international court so our own justice system doesn’t have to be contaminated with this scum. Plus the scope of their crimes deserves worldwide condemnation, since their continuing offenses were coimmitted on a global scale.

The most recent deaths of two kidnapped servcicemen in Iraq are directly linked to George W. Bush, who conspired through public lies and media manipualtion to lead the United States of America into an unjustified, unprovoked war against Iraq.

Every American death in Iraq is another stain in blood on George W. Bush’s hands.

I expect the pardoning to begin soon, perhaps pre-emptive pardons for Cheney and Rove?

Please stop referring to Jack Abramoff as “disgraced lobbyist”!!!

It’s bad enough that the MSM is addicted to the phrase, but ThinkProgress should know better. (Unless, of course, this is a case of wishful thinking. Maybe you’re thinking that if we use the phrase often enough Abramoff be more likely to actually experience disgrace. I don’t think so.)

Anyway, here’s my take on it: Abramoff Free

maybe the more abramoff shares information, the less disgraced he will become. Even after all his wrong doings, he could try to redeem himself by letting us know who “else is disgraced”. It would at least make me feel a little better.

  14. Howard Muhlberg says:

    g,

I’m willing to admit that I never thought of that possibility, and I hope you will, ultimately, feel better. :-)

This is the “criminilzation of politics” and it is an outrage! Can’t we focus on attacking the gays and immigrants who are the real threat to this nation!

He is just a little GOP fish, so when are the bigger fish in the GOP going to prison?

#16….5 years later than I wanted to see them arrested…..There is no justice, only points of law……

  18. Rick S says:

    He’ll get pardoned.

Sorry, but we would have to actually visit the Drudge sight to know if it made it there. Not worth the nausea just to find out.
