“as they were being ferried home after work in a fleet of buses” today.

  1. Badmoodman says:

I bet Bill Clinton abducted them.

  2. RunningDogLackey says:

Come on — that happens ALL the time in Detroit and DC.

Iraq is under control, and we’re winning the war. The MSM is just whining again.

(Sorry. I just felt like doing some pre-emptive trolling. ;-> )

    RW blogsphere

    ….but but but but

    Zarqawi
    Bush went to Iraq
Bush held “summit” at Camp David
Bush poll numbers UP 1 percent
Cheney said last throes was right because “We are making progress”

  4. Loonie says:

Damned biased liberal media, always reporting the bad news from Iraq! What about reporting all the workers who weren’t kidnapped! … you know, I bet someone on FOX will actually say that, and mean it seriously…

  5. Zookeeper says:

We need to get the hell out of there, we are only making this worse every day.

  6. a brief viset says:

Hello! Bush must be on vacation and Cheney scouting up another no bid contract for bus’s. Does Hallaburton do bus’s.? Sarcasm off, maybe….

  7. MrTimPA says:

#4 – I love that – “what about reporting all the workers who weren’t kidnapped!” – that sounds like something on the Colbert Report! :)

In a more serious note – sounds like more “last throes” to me… *sigh*

  8. Mary says:

Cheney was RIGHT. The insurgency was in its last throes! The nation of Iraq is now in the first stages of a full on civil war.

  9. RunningDogLackey says:

    #64 MrTimPA:

Well, there are “last throes”…and then there are the “throes that last.”

Or could these be the “last, best” throes?

  10. RunningDogLackey says:

    #7 Did I say “#64″?

Wow. Sam Adams is KICK-ASS beer! Sorry.

  11. Marie says:

But we’re winning the war on terror, right? Steelheart Dickhead says so.
We’re going to stay the course, right? Preznut Moron says so.
See how well it’s all working out? say the repugs.
Godalmighty–the hell just gets worse by the day.

  12. semanticAntics says:

Well, at least it’s safer than D.C. I mean, I can’t crack a paper without hearing how busloads of people were taken hostage in our nations capitol.

  13. dlet says:

If elected I promise to send one person who voted for Bush to live in Iraq for every Iraqi civilian that is killed in this occupation and civil war. I know that a vast majority of these Bush voters have not enlisted to fight this war and they wouldn’t be much help since they have no guts to back up their talk, so I would only send them there to replace the civilian population. The only thing they would have to do is live there and survive the mess they have created.

    Mr. Nomore Niceguy

  14. MrTimPA says:

#9-#10 – haha – I think it’s more like the “throes that last”…. But, we have to “Stay the Course ™” and not “cut and run ™” because (as said before) “Democracy is on the March ™” and because “we have to fight them there so we don’t have to fight them here ™” … (enough talking points!)

    Actually, it’s Clinton’s fault.

  15. . says:

You mean someone actually works in Iraq? How can they, I thought a civil war was going on and everything is in a state of chaos? In all seriousiness folks, I hope the hostages are freed and unharmed, but I felt I needed to make the point.

  16. Hardy Haberman says:

This will end badly, no doubt. We must avoid further inflaming the Iraq Civil War that we instigated. Time to begin redeployment for our troops and UNEMPLOYMENT for every Republican in Congress!

  17. mediabloodhound says:

See, capturing Zarqawi changed everything. Er, uh, yeah.

How long will it take the mainstream media to admit the relative insignificance of Zarqawi’s death?

  18. Spudge_Boy says:

How long will it take the mainstream media to admit the relative insignificance of Zarqawi’s death?

They never will. They will just move on to the next republican talking point. That is what the “liberal media” does.

  19. RunningDogLackey says:

#15 Nice try, but Civil War doesn’t mean people spend all day shooting at each other. I don’t rtecall everyone lquitting their jobs during OUR Civil War.

Iraq is a mess. Life is dangerous at worst, uncomfortable and anxious at best. Read Khalilzad’s memo to Condi Rice — even the Green Zone staff is falling aprt.

  20. JPark says:

Alert Hannity. We found the buses.
