Media ignoring public opinion on Iraq.

June 22nd, 2006 at 3:06 pmIt kind of reminds me of the BS that got us into the Iraqi Quagmire in the first place….no not the first gulf war, but the self-inflicted wound we all suffered on 9/11. The media were just a bunch of pawns to help brainwash the masses into believing the lies and that we’d be fighting the enemy over there instead of over here. The problem is we had to wait for the terrorists to get there before we could fight. But that’s okay, because contrary to popular belief, POTUS43 probably did read his father’s book. Why else would he have deposed Saddam? Dubya needed a civil war so he could hook up all his corporate donors with meaty government, no-bid contracts….and oh yeah, provide a place for terrorists to go so he could justify his war on terrorism.

We don’t have a President that does the will of the people we have a dictator who has stolen America. The United States has been invaded and taken over by the Bush Administration and big business. American children are dying because Americans wont stand up and stop this axis of evil. The world see clearly that Bush is the worse dictator of our time while the GOP says Bush is doing a hell of a job by letting the propaganda flow and the GOP keep voting for our troops to die one by one. The GOP says the families support our troops dying for what ever but notice how the Iraq trained troops are killing our troops and believe me this has been going on from the start we just found out this time. Mass murders by our troops per order of the Top aka Rummy/Cheney. A clueless Secretary of State who is only interested in sleeping with the President. I know all the Christian right are proud of the family values put forth by our President. Laura isn’t doing to bad either by dating the rich Texas millionair. Everybodies happy and the church gets paid to spread the lies. Who’s bible is Bush using doesn’t sound like God’s more like Satans. Now you know God isn’t blessing America it’s Satan who is blessing America.

The media has a long history of getting public opinion wrong. Within days of the 2004 election, the media had reports of polling that showed the public favoring the policies of Dems over Bush. This contradicted the reports they published prior to the election.
If the media cannot sway opinion to reflect their bias, they will simply misrepresent it.

The idea that the media might have an agenda mean anything to you people. Its obvious to me and most Americans that for the most part, the MSM is promoting the agenda set forth by the democratic party. There is just no denying it. But, go ahead and dream up these conspiracy theories if they help you sleep at night.

Why is it then Murtha can make any claim he wants to without any facts to back his statements up and when there is now evidence that WMDs did exist in Iraq, those facts are ignored. There are many, many examples of how the media caters to dem’s interests in their reporting, you just need to get out of your delusions.

Real journalists would understand the difference between releasing information that might threaten national security and trying to bring down the Bush administration. They are still using the same old playbook, trying to make Iraq into another Vietnam and take down President Bush like they did Nixon. The truth is, neither tactic is going to work and the dems are going to lose net seats in the fall.

The seeds for today’s corruption and control were sown decades ago by the same evil cabal that manipulate events, publicity and money in the White House today.
The press had to become complicit (or at least effectively intimidated) in order for the plan to be fully workable. It took them nearly 30 years, but their day is here.
The majority of Americans have caught on to the scheme now, but it is late in the game and the roots are set, its powerful tentacles far reaching.

Perhaps you didn’t get the news, from the Pentagon, that the chemical munitions found in Iraq were old (pre-1991) and inert and therefore not WMDs. Nobody said Iraq never had chemical weapons- that is a strawman created by the pro-war (as-long-as-I-don’t-have-to-serve-in-the-military) group.
Is the Pentagon run by liberals who are trying to hide the truth from you real patriots? Get a clue. You accuse Murtha of not knowing the facts- look in the mirror.

I have actually read all the sources to Murtha’s claims. It’s almost that I put together a list to back the things up and post them at huffingtonpost each time his name appears.
Many of his sources are still bookmarked. He’s not making stuff up.
If the media would be truly independent and objective, they would have informed the public about PNAC and it’s agenda many times before 9/11 even. You would also be hearing a lot about Bush’s reistance to even start a 9/11 investigation, you’d hear information about P2OG, possible election fraud, Bohemian Grove, Bilderberg, downing street memos, office of special plans, the real state of the economy…etc etc.. the public would be much more informed with a proper media.
The media really serves elite interests, both dems and repubs. The media (and politicians) have since long seized to work for the public good. Media has a higher interest in making a profit….rich media = poor democracy.

I wonder about the families who prefer that there familes be slaughtered by US soldiers? Have you read any polls about that one? Or how about the fact that 80% of all Iraqis, not just the ones lucky enough to be in the green zone, want US out of there?
But obviously you don’t think much for yourself. Equating terrorists with the NYT and the Dems is a chicken-shiite thing to do, plus it completely leaves out just who is responsible for this mess you speak of which you speak so highly.
Go back and tell the rest of America’s bubba factor that all is well, the war is peachy, and most of all, that we’re winning.

The whole term Cutting and Running is just a way for the NeoCONS to divert attention from the fact that this war was illegal, illconcieved, and illogical.
