Yell 'bomb' on a plane and then claim you're just expressing your freedom of speech, or yell 'fire' in a theatre and claim free speech as absolution of all responsibility of consequences. When you aid our enemies in a time of war, it is treason. When the next attack comes from an organization that once had it's funding tracked, and suddenly were able to talk freely on their cell phones, then we can all thank the New York Times, and L.A. Hate speach is a prime example. So are issues regarding national security - whether you agree with the custodial administration or not. The NYT argument that we need checks and balances in government does not solicit a special right to print ill-gotten information - especially issues regarding national security. Sure the administration is a fault for the information leak, but the NYT reminds me of the blabermouth kid on the kindergarten playground saying, 'I know something you don't know'. How long is going to take before everyone wakes up and discovers that we are already heading towards a dictatorship? Each day I feel like I am living in a looney bin.
