PLC (Patriotic Liberal Christian) says:
OK, Tony Snow, General Casey was creating “scenarios” to be considered. Then, how are his “scenarios” similar to the Dems “scenarios” and aren’t both sets of “scenarios” different than “staying the course”?
So, now the republicans want to cut and run? Doesn’t the fact that George W. Bush is reviewing the plan mean that he is thinking about cutting and running.
The Bush Regime plan is just to claim they might withdraw some troops by the end of 2007 > voters are just supposed to believe that for November elections, then Bush will say the end of 2008 as he leaves office!
The timetable is the same as Dems only it is because our troops arrested a religious leader and Iraq people and PM want US out. Now we have the spin to cover the fact that the GOP vote was worth nothing and Bush isn’t in charge. Let’s see how the PM of Iraq explains to the Iraq people that he can’t rule unless the US tellings him. Look for the religious leader to take care of who is in charge of Iraq. Afgan have our troops leave because the overseas investors with pull their money out thanks to the spying of Cheney. All the lies and corruption is coming to an end. It was always about the money, oil, greed and corruption not about freedom or safty of our troops.
It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creed into law if it acquires the political power to do so, and will follow it by suppressing opposition, subverting all education to seize early the minds of the young, and by killing, locking up, or driving underground all heretics. – Heinlein

June 26th, 2006 at 4:14 pmWhen Snow was on Faux news he never knew truth , even when it slapped him in the face . As we see, somethings never change.
“Heck of a job you are doing there, parrot. Have another cracker!!” says George W Bush.

Well, at least it is better than stay and pay.
June 26th, 2006 at 4:27 pmThe only difference between the democrat’s plan and Gen Casey’s is that the republicans can take credit for it.
June 26th, 2006 at 4:28 pmPlus Cheney is right…..the worst thing the republicans can do right now is cut and run, because it’s too early.
They are saving that card for Oct. 31, just before the elections, so it can make a lasting impact.

June 26th, 2006 at 4:50 pmAs far as Bob Herbert goes, better late than never. If you haven’t read “Playing Politics With Iraq” already, you now know where to go.
June 26th, 2006 at 4:56 pmWithdraw troops by November, put them back in December. Remember Fallujah 2004?

Not on topic… but very relevant overall
June 26th, 2006 at 5:40 pmLooks like it’s time for Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice and Snow to cut and run.
