“for the possible possession of illegal prescription drugs,” according to South Flordia’s CBS4 News.
UPDATE: The AP has more: “Rush Limbaugh was detained for about three-and-a-half hours Monday at Palm Beach International Airport after authorities said they found a bottle of Viagra in his possession without a prescription…the sheriff’s office plans to file a report with the state attorney’s office.”
UPDATE II: Sheriff’s office believes “there may be a second degree misdemeanor violation, which is possession of certain drugs without a prescription, because the bottle does not have his name on it,” a spokesman said.

June 26th, 2006 at 9:05 pmLimbaugh was returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic when officials found the drugs, among them Viagra.
Now that’s really gotta hurt for that to be made public.
June 26th, 2006 at 9:10 pmOn one hand I feel sorry for him: he obviously has a major monkey on his back.
But on the other hand I think,”Good!” I guess it’s because he has never taken responsibility, never addressed it to his public in any way, and pretty much has been contradicting his mantra (”They should all go to jail for a very long time”) for some time now.
I don’t know how to feel about this one. I pity him. He’s a junkie in need of help. But he’s also a blowhard and shouldn’t even be given the time of day. Tough one.
Anyone else feel a tug-o-war on this one?
June 26th, 2006 at 9:12 pmTrueblue, I wish I did feel anything but glee over this. I mean, check out my screen name, shoudln’t I feel sympathy for an addict who can’t just shake that monkey? Alas, I woke up the cat I laughed so loud, especially about the Viagra.

June 26th, 2006 at 9:15 pm#6 - Definitely, trueblue. Drug addicts need treatment, not jail. But Rush Limbaugh has burned this particular bridge, in my opinion. Trashing drug addicts on his radio show as being the scum of the earth, and all the while he’s one of them. His probation officer needs to get right on this. Viagra? Heh.

It’s probably a voilation of his previous plea deal. It would constitute a violation of probation.
Does anyone really think he’s see jail time?
It’s Ok Rush, We’re going to let you destroy your life. We’re going to make it easy and then all of us who accept the responsibilities of life and don’t destroy our lives on drugs, we’ll pay for whatever messes you get into.
June 26th, 2006 at 9:27 pmMr. Limbaugh loudly opposed prescription drug plans that would allow Americans to purchase medicines at reduced rates from Canada or Mexico. It appears he favors the “Dominican” plan.
Part of me is gloating a bit. I admit it. “Pride goeth before a fall” and who more proud than Mr. Limbaugh? My better side, however, maintains some compassion for a person who is obviously very emotionally and psychologically troubled.

Nope. The meth addict I’m CONSTANTLY trying to track down is on probation, has violated said probation many times, but he’s still out. Rush would have to violate several times, I think, unless his probation officer is worried about being criticized.

Rush Limbaugh’s Attorney Roy Black Responds to Media Inquiries
Mon June 26 2006 21:21:11 ET
Miami, FL — June 26, 2006 — Roy Black, Rush Limbaugh’s attorney, issued the following statement today in response to several inquiries by the media:
While going through routine Customs inspection of luggage at Palm Beach International Airport upon his return from an international trip, Rush Limbaugh was detained by customs agents after they noticed a non-narcotic prescription drug, which had been prescribed by Mr. Limbaugh’s treating physician but labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes. After a brief interview, Mr. Limbaugh was permitted to continue on his journey.

June 26th, 2006 at 10:08 pmTypical conservative repuke. Talks big but can’t get it up.
BTW, you cannot write a prescription to yourself and give it to your patient. Illegal.
And Rushbo probably violated his parole.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:09 pmDominican Republic is known for prostitution > I went there once with the Peace Corps, for a week, on my way to Costa Rica for training > very severe poverty in DR and even kids sell their bodies for cash > epidemic of AIDS there, so if Rush used the viagra in the DR he could get HIV or STD?!
June 26th, 2006 at 10:15 pmRUSH and VIAGRA-Now THAT’S SCARRY!!
June 26th, 2006 at 10:16 pm#41 Hope you’re right, but somehow, I have a nagging feeling that he’ll get off the hook again.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:16 pmRush is a proven addict. Addicts, like alcoholics, just don’t arouse a lot of sympathy in me, try as I might to be compassionate.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:19 pmNow I hear that the only drug he may have illegal possession of is Viagara - not a class 3 or 4 drug, but it IS a Rx drug. He had no Rx.
But I expect he will probably pay his lawyer a nice fee and walk again.
Tell me again, why the conservatives continue to support him. Perhaps they can claim compassionate for an afflicted addict, even though a compassionate conservative is an oxymoron. But how will they explain Viagara for an unmarried man? What does that say about his sexual morality? How does that set with their so-called christian values?
Now that is hard to believe. Rush is such an erect, upstanding citizen. I know he must just be all swollen up with anger over being handled like this by the police. They must have really put the squeeze on him. But come tomorrow, he will spill it all to his listening radio audience, explain it as a dysfunctional leftie plot, and then have a smoke once all the excitement is over. That’s Rush, virile hero of talk radio.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:22 pmNow I understand the thing he said about the gangrape.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:22 pmMarie, you got it right. Unless he’s married, he shouldn’t be having sex. Even then, we all know that sex is for reproduction only.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:23 pm#35 No just kidding. bush however…
June 26th, 2006 at 10:24 pmLet Rush have his Viagra. In West Palm Beach, he’ll probably try to hump an alligator in an Oxycontin stupor and save all of us from a lot of grief.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:25 pmViagra.
Doesn’t he know as fat as he is that that stuff can kill him?
June 26th, 2006 at 10:27 pmRush couldn’t possibly being possessing non-prescribed viagra. What good is viagra when you need a tweezers and a magnifying glass?
June 26th, 2006 at 10:31 pmYou know he’s a conservative when he gets back up and totally forgets the lesson he’d learned; that we’re all humans and we all have our demons. He’ll just go back to his standard routine, totally obvious to the fact that there are millions of people out there with their own problems (and not just drug addiction). But, according to cons like rush, we as a society should not seek to get those people and their families back onto their feet so they can establish their own success stories and set up their own system of family values so they can stop the cycle of poverty that threatens their every generation. Conservatives just don’t see the cause and effect of their attitude and their policies towards the least among us.
Conservatives have their problems, as we see in the case of Limbaugh here, but they have something the least among us may not have; background. And by background I mean family, and financial support, and an internalized set of morale beliefs that they can refer to when the chips are down.
Progressives have this, too, but we don’t go spitting on those that have fallen to the wayside for one reason or another, and cannot regain their place in society. This is the fundamental difference between liberals and conservatives.
So when you hear about a Con like Limbaugh taking the fall, and you feel even a shred of sympahty for him, know tha t he won’t be remembering this next time he rails on the poor for their own personal problems. This is the deepest hypocracy of conservatism.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:31 pmPost 52 WORFEUS > imagine Rush taking Oxycodone and Viagra together > he is that stupid!
June 26th, 2006 at 10:33 pmSo, stupid question: Sometimes I travel with a few different prescriptions in the same bottle, since I might only need a few days worth, and don’t want to carry 2 or 3 around.
I should stop doing this, and carry the original bottles around? Or is this only for certain drugs?

We can only hope.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:38 pmOne of things that I hate most about rush is how he warps the minds of his listeners. I was talking to a ditto head a few weeks ago, and here are some of the things he claimed with a straight face: Clinton had a deficit when he left office, also bush will cut that deficit in half in 4 years, 711 was all Clintons fault, I’m glad they’re wiretapping the terrorists (on the topic of illegal wiretaps), irak is going great they are building hospitals and schools, and on and on. ditto heads remind me of people under communism who believed all the lies pravda printed (pravda by the way seems like a bushian-orwellian type of name).
June 26th, 2006 at 10:38 pmIf this happened to a Democrat Rush would want the book thrown at him/her.I’ll take a wild guess he doesn’t feel that way toward his own offenses.GOP’ers are such hypocrites!
June 26th, 2006 at 10:38 pm#42 Good point. Who IS Limpballs screwing? Let’s see how Mr. Family Values answers THAT question.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:39 pmHis rating are going down. I guess he needs viagra to get something up.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:40 pmMaybe Bush should use viagra?
#55 I don’t think that would be a problem if the bottle is in your name.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:41 pm58. Rush says drug users should be all locked up.
55. The prescription is printed on the bottle. From what I can gather, it looks like the prescription was in someone elses name. His doctor is claiming he did that for Rush’s privacy, which does have a ring of truth to it.
He might get away with this one. We’ll have to wait to see just whose name was on the prescription.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:42 pmBut WHY is OxyRush smuggling Viagra out of MARRIAGE?
He is obviously FORNICATING and no longer has the moral standing to have his radio show.
He has SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE and I can never trust him again.
June 26th, 2006 at 10:47 pmWill Rush and his apologists once again contend that he wasn’t really arrested? Sorry Rush; that won’t fly this time. One thing I’ll be watching for with this development is the reaction of the MSM. Will they blow this up like Pat Kennedy’s problems? Or will they treat this like an untrue rant from the liberal blogospher, like they did with his last arrest (yes, arrest).

58) Interesting that you should bring up Soviet style propoganda. We’re sucked right in the middle of it, and right wingers don’t see it. Right wingers spent decades building up two or three generations of people who expected all the lies and the propoganda to come from the left, and now our modern conservatives are totally blind to it when it’s coming from their side of the aisle. June 26th, 2006 at 11:03 pmSo Rush’s ‘privacy concerns’ supersede Prescription Drug laws? I wonder what the Judge will have to say about that? And the AMA should have a little chat with the Doctor.
June 26th, 2006 at 11:04 pmDrugs are what you are where you are. In Canada, you can buy certain hair care products that contain mink-oil derivatives. The theory in the US is that these products have the potential of causing hair cancer. This is the same policy that one sees in Germany where certain products are available over the counter for humans, but must be prescribed for dogs. Keopectate comes to mind immediately. After tasting the stuff, I would suppose that it falls under the guise of animal cruelty.
June 26th, 2006 at 11:07 pmOh I have a strong feeling Cyra that the AMA is watching this quite closely right about now.

June 26th, 2006 at 11:13 pmGood thing they caught him on the way back, that would have really spoiled his vacation if they caught him on they way out. Plus think of all the Dominican youths he helped out financially. True compassionate conservatism.
This shows how serious Rush is about his “program”, any decent drug treatment program is very explicit about informing the client that posessing, or using ANY prescription drug without a prescription is a violation of the rules of treatment. It is also a violation of probation. I don’t want to hear all the “reasons” why it happened, which are all excuses of an addict.

June 26th, 2006 at 11:36 pmA couple of years ago they changed the law so that you could charge people in the US for child sex charges overseas. Kind of like what gary glitter got busted for (but he’s a Great Britain). It was in response to all these pervs flying overseas and screwing kids. Anyways, at the time the law passed I remember some news show did an expose’ on the sex industry in the Dominican Republic. The bulk of the hookers were under 18. So what was rush up to? Lets think of it this way. If Clinton got busted in a similar matter, what would rush accuse him of having done? Multiply that by 5 and you’ll have a pretty good idea.

“Paul Weyrich’s Teaching Manual,” the Free Congress Foundation’s strategic plan on how to gain control of the government of the U.S. Written by Eric Heubeck, and titled, “The Integration of Theory and Practice: A Program for the New Traditionalist Movement,” the document is no longer available at the Free Congress Foundation’s website for obvious reasons. But excerpts are published at the Yurica Report . The excerpts explain why the Dominionists are winning; the tactics they endorse are sheer Machiavellian:
I have paraphrased the four immoral principles of the Dominionist movement as the following:
1) Falsehoods are not only acceptable, they are a necessity. The corollary is: The masses will accept any lie if it is spoken with vigor, energy and dedication.
2) It is necessary to be cast under the cloak of “goodness” whereas all opponents and their ideas must be cast as “evil.”
3) Complete destruction of every opponent must be accomplished through unrelenting personal attacks.
4) The creation of the appearance of overwhelming power and brutality is necessary in order to destroy the will of opponents to launch opposition of any kind.

Though, what CLUBBER WORFEUS, #51 said about his wieght and the effects of viagra make me wonder… even if the drugs themselves aren’t as bad - his situation still makes the new drug equally as dangerous as the previous drugs he’s taken.

Now, that’s gross, ROFL
June 27th, 2006 at 8:03 amoh how you liberals crack me up. You are like a bunch of syphlitic, rabid little poodle nipping at the heels of a pit bull when you attack Rush. It’s really funny to see the anger and hate of you diversity and tolerance minded folks.
June 27th, 2006 at 8:19 amNow I know you are jealous at the fact that you on the left have no body to even come close to Rush in terms of somebody who is as popular and listened too and believed in. The comical efforts by Air America or whatever your liberal radio station is that is tanking so badly nationwide. Jealousy is a terrible thing for you lefties because I know it just tears you all up that nobody really listens to your rantings and whinings much anymore but to attack a man who has done so much good for America, who has opened so many eyes and minds as Rush has well that’s just plain tragic on your part.
Rush will not go to jail or really get much from this so don’t start your typical rabid, salivating little liberal hopes up too much. He has done far too much for this country to save it from liberal lunacy to be taken off the air and is too much of a national treasure to succumb to any nonsense such as this.
But on a good note The Denver Post is reporting that heap big Injun chief Ward Churchill WILL be fired for a plethora of reasons not the least of which is impersonating someone with a brain so my day is prety much made happy . by- bye chief slap- a- ho!
OMG DRUG SMUGGLERS AT THE BORDER!
June 27th, 2006 at 8:25 amHURRY, BUILD A HUGE FENCE.
Nice speech, moonbat patrol.
We’re just trying to get the images of Rush jerkin’ it out of our heads. And you know there is some serious jerkin’ goin’ on there.

June 27th, 2006 at 8:49 ambusting a guy for viagra? come on.
i hardly think there is a “scourge” of viagra addicts around. his outspoken personality and success has resulted in a big red bulls-eye being painted on his robust backside.
this is certainly schadenfreude at its best.
June 27th, 2006 at 8:51 amand rush was not arrested. Another lie perpetuated on this site to make the shut-ins feel better about being losers
June 27th, 2006 at 8:52 am#97 - Oh, my! Moonbat, you’ve really gone round the bend, haven’t you? How can you listen the the lies of Rush Limbaugh and think “He’s right!” Have you really drunk that much kool-aide that your brain is no longer firing on all cylinders?
Oh, well. I’ll keep you in my prayers that you eventually return to sanity someday.
June 27th, 2006 at 8:55 amI hear Al Franken was busted for hemaroid cream. He was eating it, but thats beside the point.
June 27th, 2006 at 8:56 am#105 - Actually, if there is a “scourge” of Viagra addicts, it must be among politicians. There’s a “limp” crowd for you!
What it boils down to with Rush is that he lies, and he lies consistently. He lied when he said he didn’t do drugs, he lied when he got caught, and he lied when he said he’d stay on the “straight and narrow” after his convenient trip to rehab. If the man actually cared about the rule of law, he’d have stayed out of any and all controversy. Why didn’t he just get a prescription with his name on it? Too much to ask?
If you can’t take the heat of controversy, stay out of the rhetorical kitchen.

Comment by brotherman — June 27, 2006 @ 8:52 am
The article reads “Rush Limbaugh was detained for about three-and-a-half hours Monday at Palm Beach International Airport…”
Dictionary:
So the article of TP sounds correct enough to me.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:03 am#108 - If it’s “beside the point”, why did you even type it? Oh, I get it. You think you’re “funny”.
Sorry to break it to you, but you’re not.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:03 am#99 yeah maybe Rush should stop “jerkin it” as you so eloquently phrased it. But where else would moonbats come from other than Rush splatter hittin’ the floor??
June 27th, 2006 at 9:05 am# 100 what the hell are you some kind of girly man?? sounds like you are all in a tiff and going to hit me with your purse! oh no!
Like I said you moonbats wish you had even one person out there who anybody would listen to 1/1,000,000th as much as folks listen to Rush. This is all about jealousy and being the immature, limp wristed little leftards who nobody listens to anymore. Face it lefties your time has passed, your 15 minutes of fame is up and you will just have to grow up and get over it. Rush is right and you are wrong. Maybe you can that goofy douche bag Al franken to make a few jokes but nobody cares and nobody listens.Poor liberals.
#109 - i would agree rush is full of shit. he’s one of the more obnoxious people in the media from either end of the political spectrum.
i do think it’s a bit much to detain the guy over a bottle of viagra. if it was a bottle of oxycontin, nail him. box of valium? lock him up. sack of coke? throw away the key. but a bottle of boner meds? really.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:05 amoh, ok he was just eating it. hows that? moron
June 27th, 2006 at 9:06 amgood one
June 27th, 2006 at 9:07 amWell, Chase, people is incarcerated all the time for smoking cuban cigars. Let them free, too, all right?
June 27th, 2006 at 9:11 amyeah and some presidents not only smokem but like to shove cubans up young girls twats. whats the big deal?

OK, Bill. Go back to your “no fact” zone with your anti Al Franken venom. (Who, BTW, is kicking your ass with radio listeners…)
June 27th, 2006 at 9:16 am#116 - yeah, free them too.
was that so hard? did you think i would disagree?
June 27th, 2006 at 9:21 am#112 Moonbat patrol
June 27th, 2006 at 9:22 amNo, it’s not about jealousy. It’s about hypocrisy and arrogance. Is Rush “right” by what he says or by what he does? Family values vs. multiple marriages. Law-and-order approach to drug users vs. avoiding responsibility for his own drug use. Has Rush ever corrected himself (and don’t try the “he’s never been wrong” tact unless you’re willing to name him God)?
Anyone that listens to the crap spitting from his fascist loving pie-hole is extremely gullable.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:23 amOK, Chase, a step more: are you in favor or against lifting the cuban embargo?
June 27th, 2006 at 9:24 amhe’s never wrong.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:25 am#122 - I’m in favor.
If only because it would quickly lead to Castro’s downfall.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:27 amNow what should we as a socitety do to punish drug addicts and law breakers again Rush?
June 27th, 2006 at 9:28 amWho is never wrong, Jill, Rush or me?
June 27th, 2006 at 9:28 amLimpy needs the Viagara? What, looking at a picture of W wasn’t enough to make l’il Rush salute?
Well, he’s pretty lucky…imagine what would’ve happened if he was busted carrying whatever hallucinogen or narcatic that the person that the Viagara was intended for would’ve needed to get with Rush.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:28 amif castro is arrested for “detaining” cuban citizens for life in prison. i would be in favor for lifting the emabargo
June 27th, 2006 at 9:29 amSo, Chase, your idea is let the cuban people starve while Castro lives. Wow, how useful is the embargo. If you haven’t noticed it, the poors don’t revolt against Castro, they simply travel to Florida.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:33 amWell, brotherman, guess what country has the bigger % of inmate population… and the second of third country ranking in death penalty, only after China, and it’s north of Cuba…
June 27th, 2006 at 9:35 amThe MSNBC tag line on thier site is Limbaugh “Quizzed” about Viagra…..does this mean the detainees at gitmo are just taking midterms? MSNBC is just Faux lite.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:36 am#129 -
I’m afraid you’ve misunderstood me.
Repeal the embargo. Doing so is good for Cubans and terrible for Castro.
Clear enough?
June 27th, 2006 at 9:36 amI heard Rush was caught with is the Aids drug Trinoassatol.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:37 amBy the way isn’t a chase an empty void?
none for speaking out against communism.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:39 amOK, Chase, clear enough.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:41 amHow many for religion, brotherman?
How many for being dirt poor?
How many for being non WASP?
How many for petty crimes?
(Hint: 0 isn’t the answer)
June 27th, 2006 at 9:43 amRush is a twice divorced, (recovering?) drug addicted, college dropout. It amazes me that his sheeple still blindly follow him.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:45 amAhhh, Viagra, now I see. Rush seemed obsessed with the N. Korean Long Dong missiles last week. Verrry Interrrresting
June 27th, 2006 at 9:46 amsounds like cuba has a great government. and leader
June 27th, 2006 at 9:46 amRush should be let off on all charges, after all, this a time of WAR! ;-)
June 27th, 2006 at 9:50 amgreat, now we have to hear him talk about the liberal conspiracy against him once again… denial is a sure sign of an addict!
June 27th, 2006 at 9:52 am#140 - i dont buy the liberal conspiracy mumbo-jumbo but you gotta admit people are out to get him (but “they” are out to get public figures in general).
i mean, have you ever heard of anyone being hassled, much less detained (even less arrested) for unperscribed viagra possession?
June 27th, 2006 at 9:57 amMoonbat Patrol,
Ever see the big crowds that turned out to the Nuremburg rallies or at a good old American lynching or in Mohammed cartoon protests?
Getting a crowd to listen to a loudmouth leader is nothing new.
Now you can get back to listening to the thrice married and divorced, childless, limp-weenied leader of yours who likes to take trips to third world nations known for their illicit sex trade.
-GSD
June 27th, 2006 at 9:59 amThis will teach Rush a lesson. Get a private airstrip on your property like John Travolta.
June 27th, 2006 at 9:59 amHe needs the Viagra to counteract the effects of the Oxycontin.
June 27th, 2006 at 10:04 am#141 Chase
June 27th, 2006 at 10:04 amCould the authorities easily identify the drugs as viagra or might they have suspected he was bringing some other drug into the U.S. illegally? If the prescription was not in Rush’s name, wouldn’t this increase their suspicions? Actually, I don’t think a three hour detention to answer these questions is very long.
#145 - I cant imagine a American who couldn’t identify the characteristic blue diamond of Viagra. And sure, have a prescription is someone else’s name is suspicious but again, it was Viagra.
June 27th, 2006 at 10:14 amSo - Rushbaby cant get it up since Daryn Kagan dumped him. I love it.
Seriously folks. Rush should be in real trouble this time, but he wont be, money talks, bullshit walks. He has violated, and seriously, his probation agreement on the Oxy charge.
If he does go to jail, he will be pardoned by Bushco. Roverboy has been burning up the phones since this happened and Mehlman is pledging puke re-election funds for his defense.
Makes you proud to be amurkan, dont it?

June 27th, 2006 at 10:23 amPoint taken.
#141 - So, what you really saying is that people were “out to get” Pres. Clinton as well, right? I mean, why spend over $70 million just because of an extra-martital affair?
Of course, it will always be claimed as a legitimate investigation, can’t seem as if the Republican party were out to avenge the disgraceful behavior of Pres. Nixon and his being hounded out of office for lying and breaking the law.
June 27th, 2006 at 10:24 amProof that Rush is indeed a hardened criminal!!!!
June 27th, 2006 at 10:28 am#151
well of course people were out to get president clinton. should so much time have been wasted on that fiasco? probably not. was it a bigger deal that the president was having an affair in the oval office (and lied about it), objectively i would say so.
being a highly visible public figure (and a polemic one to boot) means you will suffer an onslaught of slings and arrows. both president clinton and rush are examples.
June 27th, 2006 at 10:35 amTwo words: SEX TOURISM
June 27th, 2006 at 10:42 am#153 - I guess the difference is that Rush Limbaugh gets paid to tell lies while Pres. Clinton was being paid to tell the truth.
June 27th, 2006 at 10:45 amAnd sure, have a prescription is someone else’s name is suspicious but again, it was Viagra.
Let me help you with this one, regardless of what the drug in question is, it is illegal to get prescription drugs without a prescription. It’s called the law. And if it’s good for the rest of us, it’s good for Rush. Again, I don’t care if it’s Viagra or antihistamine, without a prescription, it’s illegal to possess.
June 27th, 2006 at 10:47 am153. Chase - BUSH LOYALIST.
June 27th, 2006 at 10:48 am#156 - I’m about a “law and order” as they come. If you break the law, you should bear the consequences. I only ask that, from a practical standpoint, how often do people catch cases for un-prescribed Viagra possession?
#155 - He gets paid to tell lies? I dont think I would say that.
#157 - Yeah! Except only not! Do you call me a BUSH LOYALIST because I say being caught having an affair in the Oval Office is a sorta bad thing? Just so you know, I tend to like Clinton - he’s a good model for Democrat success.
June 27th, 2006 at 10:59 amNot surprising that Limbaugh needs Viagra, what IS surprising is that someone would actually have sex with that big flabby waste of human skin.
June 27th, 2006 at 11:01 amChase - I do not know what Viagra looks like. But I am a woman, we don’t need that particular time of “assistance.”
I do not care what happens to him. I will be laughing all day about that fat ass being pulled aside and questioned about viagra of all things.
They actually should make a pill for woman because I cannot see a woman being turned on by looking at him unless they were paid for it!!
June 27th, 2006 at 11:13 amIt wasn’t his prescription, but it he was using it legally. It belongs to his gay lover. And if these liberals would just allow them to marry, he wouldn’t be in this mess!
Also, is this a violation of his plea bargain?
June 27th, 2006 at 11:14 amHe was giving them to young boys… that’s what burns me up. I wonder how he’ll get out of this one.
June 27th, 2006 at 11:27 amRush claims a right to privacy as his defense but rails against privacy rights for the rest of us. What a slip for one who claims to champion the rights of the little guy over the elites.
Rush is an elitist, and now claims the privileges reserved for the Elite class. What a fraud! Too bad being a fraud on the air is not a crime.
June 27th, 2006 at 11:38 amIt’s the NY Times fault that Rush was detained at the airport. That sure seems like the kind of spin that Him and O’Reilly would put on it.
June 27th, 2006 at 12:08 pmRush is back on the air! Sounding better that ever. Don’t ya just hate it
June 27th, 2006 at 12:08 pmWell, brotherman, you’re right. There is an horrible dictatorship and people detained for life in Cuba. Against international treaties. In the USA facilities at Guantanamo.
June 27th, 2006 at 12:26 pmDrudge is reporting Rush as saying the following:
RUSH LIMBAUGH: ‘HOW DID BOB DOLE’S LUGGAGE GET ON MY AIRPLANE? I TOLD MY DOCTOR I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE NEXT ELECTION’…
I would say that’s pretty funny.
June 27th, 2006 at 12:49 pmno internet access in cuba. if there were. postings on sites like this would result in life terms in prison
June 27th, 2006 at 12:50 pmIn the other hand, the USA encourages everybody to make phone calls, access internet, do international bussiness, freely associate, be a VA recipient, trevel by plane, receive Social Security assitence or going to University to simply sniff their data, detain them arbitrarily and dissappear them in gulags all around the world.
June 27th, 2006 at 12:57 pmyou are wierd dude
June 27th, 2006 at 1:02 pmbrotherman: sorry, but the weirdos in the world are the Republicans, specially the neocons. Reconsider your allegiances.
June 27th, 2006 at 1:12 pmi disagree
June 27th, 2006 at 1:14 pmbrotherman, you’re free to disagree, but you’ll find soon where goes the neocon doctrine: to the rubbish. It’s already a dead horse, carried in the back of the promoters, who wouldn’t run again to the presidency and vicepresidency. The neocon movement today is as shaky as the Gorvachev government a few days before his kidnapping.
June 27th, 2006 at 1:22 pm[moderated by admin.]
June 27th, 2006 at 1:33 pmcan someone tell me why the neocons are so hated? i’m really curious.
June 27th, 2006 at 1:37 pmChase, you will discover why when they reach your house in Mars. You don’t watch too much interplanetary TV lately, right?
/Sarcasm Off.
June 27th, 2006 at 1:41 pmES: really - you just had a little neocon knock, i’m interested exactly what it is about that ideological movement that you hate so.
June 27th, 2006 at 1:46 pmChase, in short, neocons have nothing of “new”. It’s simply modern Imperialism, British style. An Empire, to survive, has to use its military. And using the military is how it starts its self destruction, because attracts all the negative forces of the world towards him. And must I remember how ended all the Empires lately, including the Third Reich?
And please, save me the “We rock, therefore it will not happen to us” discourse.

June 27th, 2006 at 2:33 pmYes, I’m a patriot. I love this country as it has been generally operating for 250 years. I dislike seeing the liberty-attacking religious right, neocons, and other political movements destroying what our founding fathers with their intelligence and courage produced. And these founding fathers had to listen to the same type of tripe that you are giving me and others who, like me, refuse to surrender to the attempts at destroying the inalienable rights of life, liberty, happiness, dissent, tolerance, religious freedom, etc that are God-given and confirmed by our form of government. Your comments here and elsewhere demonstrate your bigotry, love of aristocracy, and other un-American viewpoints. Called it “socialism” if you want, I call it a social conscience.
brotherman:
Nah. I like dwarves. But prefer Snow White. Now, that Jasmine is a real bimbo! Ariel, a bit too fishy for me…
June 27th, 2006 at 2:38 pm150, Chase,
I don’t know what the hell Viagra looks like, I sure don’t need it.
June 27th, 2006 at 3:02 pmu gotta have a pecker to need it
June 27th, 2006 at 3:13 pm# 184 nice try abbie hoffman but as usual you are delusional and just frustrated probably on a range of issues from democrats losing every election since ‘94 to the rejection of so called gay marriage and every other liberal PC thing you may think of yourself as a “patriot” but I do not think of youas one . to me you and your ilk are the enemy. It is socialism and it is very, very selective in it;s conscience.
June 27th, 2006 at 6:49 pmyou speak of the founding fathers like they are yours to corupt to your own ideas. i have news for you if you study history the founding fathers would have people like you shot or hung.
this country was founded and built by religous fanatics with guns to be free of secular humanists and communists like you.
nice try but you are full of horsesh*t and you know it. you are a traitor.
It’s true! Liberals ARE mean hateful assholes !
June 27th, 2006 at 7:44 pmWhen asked what he did in the DR by a caller on his radio show, Rush Limbaugh responded, laughing “Oh I had a great time in the Domincan Republic.
I Wish I could tell you what I did”
RUSH LIMPBALLS
June 27th, 2006 at 7:59 pmAccording to Palm Beach County Sheriffs office, out of a bottle of 30 pills, Mr Limbaugh had 29 when he was detained, “returning” from the Dominican Republic.
June 27th, 2006 at 8:17 pmi dont agree that the neocon policy is an imperial policy.
it’s definately a rejection of isolationism, appeasement and moral relativism in favor of democracy, preemption (when necessary) and the moral superiority of free markets.
there’s more, and i would love to actually discuss this if anyone is interested.
June 27th, 2006 at 8:51 pmWith apologies to Arlo.

how about the preamble to the Constitution for one! If you are too dumb to realize that this nation was founded by men who strongly beleived that God was the not only the source of freedom but also the reason then STOP! you have not the mental power to even understand the directions on package of instant oatmeal. How can you sit there for one second and deny the founding fathers religious inspiration and dedication. This counrty was not founded as an atheist country, or muslim or hindu or pagan country. My dear God have you become that subverted by the far left wing ideology that you have lost every shred of realization that we are a country founded by men of faith??
