He decided to take a short-cut to circumvent it. iraqis were tortured to gain information about the insurgency, and hopefully thwart it. With hindsight we can safely say that it didn’t work very well. Remember they sent that guy (col. I think it was but I can’t remember his last name) from gitmo to abu greb to “gitmoize” abu greb. To think that what happened at abu greb didn’t come from at least rummy is to intentionally wear blinders. And I must add that I think it is shameful that the higher ups that are truly responsible for it scapegoated those kids.Anyways sam go believe wahtever shit fox shovels into that empty space behind your eyes.
