His firm, Stillwell Communications is mentioned in the 2001 CNMI OPA lobbying audit. He is identified as a “Likely Lobbyist” on page 3 of the Report. The totals paid to him ($224,360) between 1994 and 1998 is listed on page 17. He would have worked with Abramoff on CNMI issues over those years. Stillwell was with Samuel Aloot (a CNMI Attorney General in 1995 and a current DOL official) to counteract Senate hearings on human rights abuses in 1995

He was hired to be part of the DOI OIA team in 1998. Unlike most of the Clinton hires he was kept on in the Bush era. He was suspected as Abramoff’s inside man at the OIA, this plea seems to support that theory.

Maybe I’ve been here long enough to become cynical on some levels. I think most of what they utter is garbage. But, it is amusing to watch them pitch temper tanturms when cornered. Seixon is one of the loudest. It is pretty hilarious.

They don’t even know what socialist or communist mean. We’re social beings who live in communities. They’re actually insulting their own human nature when they misuse those terms.
