Responding to the Cole attack was Bush’s responsibility. The attack was in 2000 and the evidence was gathered and the guilty parties identified in early 2001. Condi explained why Bush CHOSE not to respond to that attack.

Clinton did track down and arrest those guilty of the ‘93 bombing, and his supporters didn’t blame Bush I for it either. But some think that being strong on defense means you kill more people. For example, say 18 marines get killed in Africa and in response the President fires his Secretary of Defense and pulls our troops out. You might say that’s weak. You might say a real man would stick it out even after getting 2,500 soldiers killed and say “I’m the decider.” I guess if you measure foreign policy in terms of body count…

After Katrina struck, and Bush went back to Washington, McClellan was asked about this. McClellan said going back to D.C. was not merely symbolic. I don’t care what kind of super-fax he has, he is less engaged when he’s on his ranch.

Or do you think it’s coincidence that the really bad things happen after he’s been on “vacation” for a month or more?

then it is obvious you do not know or care less about the history of the bushes and obl and the saudi kingdom in reference to oil. they have been in bed since the 70’s. that is when grandaddy bush made his first dive into oil with the sauds and obl. why did bushwhack ‘give up’ on obl. why wasn’t bush worried about obl and blatantly said so? now if in fact this is the worlds worst terrorist bushyboy would want to go after him dead or alive with his billy bad ass. right? come on now, let’s not be naive. apply common sense and history will lprove it. the ones that don’t believe believed in their gov during vietnam. our gov is one of the most dirtiest out there.

If Bush’s handlers really want him to “look engaged”, I suggest he not vacation at all and instead do some work instead of photo-ops and raising money for Bush Republican candidates.

If Bush was a real man, he would realize what a monumental failure he is, and spend every free moment of his time trying to fix all the problems he has caused.
