Wow! So this is where all the moonbats hang out! Saddam killed hundreds of thousands of his own people with no regard to age or sex. He jailed and tortured children on a regular basis. Getting rid oof him was evil? Or was Saddams actions all lies by the Evil president Bush? If you saw someone beating a child to death across the street would you just keep on walking because it was none of your business? What is the difference between helping that child and stopping a murderous tyrant when you have the means to do so.

Your choice to ignore your responsibilities and then sit around gruffly barking at passersby is just that, your choice. It is unfortunate for you that you do not believe that the Iraqi children deserve better than to be murdered by your military, and by extension, you.

I am frequently moved by the words you write, and occasionally angered at your broad-brush condemnation of ALL Americans, including those of us who fight against the policies of this country which result in bloodshed and misery. But I simply must point out that many of the Iraqi children’s deaths today are the result of suicide bombings and shootings by other Iraqis…Sunni and Shia. Where is your condemnation of them? Children are dying in both Israel and Lebanon today, due to the actions of leaders in both nations. But I’ve seen you condemn ONLY Israel. I condemn BOTH.

Maybe now would be a good time for BushCo to take another look at their plan for “as the Iraqi’s ’stand up’, we will ’stand down.’” because if the Iraqi’s are fighting each other now, I just don’t see how that is going to work. Is there a ‘Plan B’? BushCo has been awfully quiet on the subject. Or is ’stay the course’ all they have?

We should not heap scorn on poor wretches like Mr. Morris and George Bush. The former is bound for hell because he violated the commandment “thou shall not covet thy neighbors wife”. The latter for violation of the commandments “thou shall not kill” and “bearing false witness”. Sadly, the legacy of these men is that they are fated for the bowels of hell.

The only real question now is whether other unfortunately misguided Christians will join them in their descent. Those on the Christian left must start a movement for a national prayer day for these and other members of the Republican party, who are otherwise destined to descend directly into Hell. Let start a national prayer dialog that urges them to repent their evil ways and that may help others turn away from a similar fate before it is too late.

to get back to the thread, the civil war is because of us. Although it is not a good thing. I agree that the US standing in the world is damaged. A narrow minded ideology hijacked this country and used fear to push it’s own agenda. There is hope internally and I am always hopeful.

yes, humanist fails to understand that the point, which is ‘america is making enemies abroad with its current foreign policy’, dies a lonely death as soon as the person making the point is discredited. and to make those claims and then say “i’m from nowhere, i’m from everywhere, hell, i’m a little magic fairy” leave you with ZERO CREDIBILITY.

on the other hand, as an american living in australia, i can say that american prestige IS being irreparably damaged. i base this on conversations i’ve had with people from australia, the uk, france, germany, denmark, the czech republic, malaysia, south korea, and more. plus i see the news coverage without the american filter. just my saying it doesn’t give it weight; it’s the fact that i can prove that i live in another country and see it firsthand.

humanist has proven nothing. humanist apparently likes to type pretty little sentences and read them back to itself, over and over again, transfixed by it’s own supposed brilliance.

what humanist doesn’t realize is that the rest of us here think it is a joke.
