Q: Is the country closer to a civil war?
Rumsfeld: “Oh, I don’t know. You know, I thought about that last night, and just musing over the words, the phrase, and what constitutes it. … It clearly is being stimulated by people who would like to have what could be characterized as a civil war and win it, but I’m not going to be the one to decide if, when or at all.”

Imagine an intelligent bush cabinet advisor(I know, but I did say to imagine) sitting in the Oval Office and having to listen to Cheney, Rumsfield and Bushboy. Oh, and he knows “some people would like” to have one, as if they are not already. How clever of him. How utterly reassuring it is to know that this old fool has decided not to decide anything regarding the status of the war in Iraq. Wonderful.

My thoughts exactly. Most people wont realize the damage that thees imbiciles have done to America until it is time to pay the piper, by then, they are long gone. Every action in life comes with consequences – good or bad. Its the immutable law of the universe. But, sadly most of our countrymen are more concerned about which movie star is screwing whom, and who will be the next idol. This is insanity at its best.

The thing is, many of us who are saying Iraq is a civil war situation are family members of military. Or soldiers themselves. Veterans.
