Firstly: The USA and Israel are the real terrorists. You are the ones killing masses of civilians, bombing hospitals infrastructure, ambulences and UN observers. How many UN observers have been killed by Islamic Mujahideen? How many ambulances have been fired upon by Hezbollah?

Secondly: The so called terrorists hate you because you are killing their people and occupying their land, and stealing their resources. Exactly the same reasons you would hate them if they were like you.

You are the agressors, they are the defenders. Its that simple.

so at first, i have to assume you mean to say that it’s good that we have these freedoms and it’s bad that most islamic countries don’t. fair enough, and an accurate statement.

but simplistic. why is that even worth mentioning?

unless there’s an implied meaning there – that somehow, because we have these freedoms, we’re not supposed to exercise them. we’re supposed to be so servile to our wonderful government and so grateful that they don’t destroy us, crush our freedoms, imprison us for speaking out and quash all dissent, that we don’t even dare considering speaking out when we think something is wrong.

because us pathetic americans are so lucky we live in a country where we have rights that we should actually choose not to exercise them. just because gwb is so magnanimous as to not go ahead and be the dictator some of you on the right actually seem to want him to be and throw these protestors into jail, or, better yet, put them in front of firing squads, just like in those islamic countries you keep referencing with such zeal.
