Pat Robertson: I’m ‘A Convert’ On Global Warming, ‘It Is Getting Hotter’

Yesterday on the 700 Club, evangelical Pat Robertson declared himself “a convert” on global warming. Robertson said that he has “not been one who believed in global warming in the past.” But now, Robertson said, he believes “it is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air.” Robertson implored, “we really need to do something on fossil fuels.” Watch it:

Robertson on the 700 Club

Robertson talked briefly about global warming again on today’s edition of the 700 club. Alternet has the video.

Today’s transcript:

They are defending the society. But I tell you stay in doors ladies and gentleman. Stay cool. Get fans or whatever. And the poor, they need emergency fans and ice to cool down — the number of people dead. I have not been one who believed in the global warming. But I tell you, they are making a convert out of me as these blistering summers. They have broken heat records in a number of cities already this year and broken all-time records and it is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air. We really need to address the burning of fossil fuels. If we are contributing to the destruction of the planet we need to do manage about it.

    With friends like these...

  2. DrSinker Says:

Here's the problem: next summer could just as easily be much cooler, and then Robertson will come out and claim that God has saved us from global warming.

The temperature in the US over a couple of months is an anecdote.

  3. lilmadguy Says:

Why didn't God tell him this?

  4. DenverDem Says:

We were talking about this at work today. As much as most of us dislike him, I think it's good he's woke up to reality in this instance any way.

I'll welcome them all, even shrubby if he suddenly pulls his head out of his ass and says we gotta do something, and actually does more than some photo-ops.

  5. Clyde the Ripper Says:

Off thread but Delay must stay on the ballot. Fed Court ruled against the hammer. A plus for the Dems!

  6. Jackie Says:

What does Robertson want we know it's Global Warning. I guess he's looking for people to come back and give him money as he's been saying crazy things lately.

  7. BlueTexas Says:

Pat Robertson acknowledging global warming? Maybe the apocalypse is upon us after all! And me with nothing to wear...

  8. For Truth Says:

Wow all it takes is a couple of heat waves and Bam! The "only look in front of your nosers" agree its getting hotter.

  9. For Truth Says:

Maybe God did knock him upside the head.

  10. Peter Says:

Obviously Pat's found a way to make money off it. Jesus-brand air conditioners, anyone?

  11. Jesus Christ God of WAR Says:

Don't kid yourself, Pat. All that heat is only Hell opening up to receive you when you die.

  12. unbelievable Says:

Robertson said that he has “not been one who believed in global warming in the past.”

You don't 'believe in' Science, Pat. You accept it based on facts, evidence, experimentation and so on.

Just as I accept that there is no god based on the utter lack of facts, evidence, experimentation and so on.

None-the-less, if crazy evangelicals like you can finally 'believe in' something, anything, based in reality, I'll happily take it.

  13. Gay Bear Says:

It's only getting hotter for good OLD Pat is because he's inching towards death. We all know where he's going and it's hotter than hell down there.

  14. wayfarer Says:

Too little too late. Why gosh darn I reckon there was something to all that. Robertson is an evil man and the only reason I can see him saying this is because he stands to profit from it in some way. I guess we'll see what comes from it.

  15. Chase Says:

Funny how a pretty consistent target of this crowd comes around and he's still nothing but a target.

  16. Simon Cowell Says:

Wait a minute - Pat Robertson says there is global warming? ....

Well then I change my mind ... There Is No Global Warming !!!!

    ( Just Kidding, Just Kidding ... )

  17. Jim T Says:

I have to admit, Gore (and the world, hopefully) really lucked out on timing. A few weeks after "An Inconvenient Truth" is released, we have the hottest summer on record. You may not be able to blame the heat on global warming, but its a pretty good reminder to people.

  18. Canuck Stuck in Muck Says:

So, Robertson is a Christian Supremacist, with a hate engine for a heart and a worldview that wouldn't have looked out of place in 1930s Germany. He's rarely, if ever, said anything sensible from a liberal, secular humanist point of view. Now he's convinced there's global warming and we need to do something about our oil consumption? Jeebuz, he's making sense? That's nonsensical. I reckon it's a random event. I mean, the guy's gotta make a mistake some time! Maybe it's time to rethink the science. Or sell my oil stocks. Or buy oil stocks. I'm so confused!

  21. James Says:

I believe that the negative response to Robertson's 'conversion' is counterproductive. Robertson has a *loyal* following of conservatives - most of whom DO NOT believe that global warming is reality. Of course you could pin it down to his following not caring too much about science etc but this a turning point and should be exploited.

I am quite sure Robertson has already received negative responses on this issue - some of his donors are quite likely oil execs, politicos, etc. That he went out on a 'limb' in a direction that is not to the extreme right for a change can always hurt his fundraising efforts (even if they go to gold mining every once in awhile).

Robertson is the kind of person that needs to be won over in order for there to be an American 'solution' to capping CO2 emissions. It's never going to take the form of Kyoto which has its own shortcomings (europe knows this permits are given out by the government to polluters who make a fortune and given out on a scale that does little to curb emissions). Kyoto needs to be turned into a strict carbon trading program where all permits are auctioned - at present >90 percent are given away to polluters who use them to make a fortune in the carbon market (read subsidy)

Anyway I'm glad to hear Pat converting to our side. Of course it's important to note that he is tying this in with the heat wave that is presumably keeping all his old viewers inside and glued to 700 club.

  22. pgl Says:

What? When his air conditioner broke - Pat thought it was a sign from God? This is almost as bad as Andrew Sullivan finally getting the science by watching a movie!

No this is good news. Pat Robertson reaches a large base of conservative voters. If he says global warming is a reality, they will believe him, and will hopefully move this issue out of the political realm, and into a social context. This will effect all of us. The sooner we can work on solutions the better.

  27. Mugsy Says:

I wonder if God finally had a little sit-down chat with Power-Lift Boy?

  28. Mugsy Says:

How ironic that Robertson should finally acknowledge global warming just as Hell freezes over!

  29. The Agonist Says:

Hell must be freezing over right about now for Pat Robertson to say something like this:

  41. Bob K. Says:

JOHANNESBURG (AFP) - Snow fell on South Africa's biggest city Johannesburg for the first time in 25 years as icy temperatures gripped vast swathes of the country, the weather office said.

"It (the snow) is by no means freakish but I would certainly classify it as rare," said Kevin Rae, assistant manager of forecasting at the South African Weather Service in Pretoria.

Forecasters said snow was reported in the southern Johannesburg township of Soweto and the posh northern suburb of Sandton, as well as the nearby towns of Carletonville and Westonaria.

Johannesburg last had snow on September 11, 1981.

"Sleet has been recorded occasionally since then, but never snow," added climatologist Tracey Gill.

Bloemfontein, the capital of the central Free State province, got its first snow in 12 years, receiving 13 centimetres (5.2 inches).

Comparable widespread snow across the country had been recorded only twice in the past 20 years, in 1981 and 1988, said Rae.

Some welcomed the colder weather, however.

At the Tiffindell ski resort in the southern Drakensberg mountains of the Eastern Cape province, guests were elated.

"They are very excited," said the resort's chief snow-maker, Johan Smuts. "It is not every day that you get to see snow fall in Africa."

In warmer weather, Smuts oversees the manufacture of snow for the resort through a process involving water and air compression.

Tiffindell usually gets about five snowfalls a year, he said, but rarely 25 centimetres in one day, as on Tuesday.

The weather service posted a warning on its website of very cold temperatures for the southeastern high elevations of the country into Thursday.

It expected snowfalls to continue over areas of the central Free State, the Drakensberg and the Eastern Cape, but to have passed by Friday.

In the northern provinces, the snow was expected to clear by Wednesday afternoon, said Rae.

If Pat Robertson truly believes that global warming is happening and if he can convince his 700 club followers that global warming is real and something needs to be done, then that is a good thing. We need as many people as possible in agreement that global warming is really happening and that it is a threat to life on this planet. After all, Earth is our only home.

Pat Robertson may not be a climate scientist, but he knows which way the wind blows. I think this is his way of positioning himself away from the radical right wing nuts. I think Rupert Murdoch has begun to do the same thing, hence his cozying up to Hillary Clinton.

I wonder if Al Gore will appear on the 700 Club now.

His idea of "doing something about it" involes everyone sending him money and praying to JEEEESUS to make it cooler. This dick is responsible for many of the problems we face not being addressed. It would be nice if god would tell him to put a bullet in his worthless brain.

  51. neopro Says:

This needs to be a non-partisan issue. Global warming is real and if we are to make serious changes in stopping it then it can't be a "liberal" issue. We have to reach over to our neanderthal counterparts on the right and help them to start being a part of the solution and not the problem. Here's how we do it:

    - To the fiscal conservative: Since conservatives don't care about pollution and actually enjoy the smell of toxic waste in the morning, we have to show them that this will hurt the thing they care the most about : their wallats. The average American spends over $35 a week on gasoline and in some big cities it can be qas much as $100 a week. For the amount of money that it takes to fill up one of today's standard oil-based engines, it would cost less than a tenth of that to fill it with hydrogen. Why? Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe and on this planet while fossile fuels are exteremely scarce. Hydrogen is also easy to refine and containment chanmbers are easy to design, whereas oil refineries require significantly more work input.

    - To the pseudo-Christian "religious right" conservative: This is God's planet. As the dominant species on earth, God has charged us with the responsibility of watching over it and the other species that live on it. God is everywhere: in the trees, the sky, the mountains, and the ocean. God is the ruler of both heaven and earth and the human species has no right to abuse one of God's planets. Switching to renewable energy for the sake of haulting global warming is not just a service to every species on the planet, including the human species, but also a service to God as well. Anyone who is a believer in God should understand that this is our dharma, a holy responsibility. There is already an evangelical environmentalist movement that has adopted this.

    - To unemployed redneck conservatives: Switching to renewable energy will create numerous jobs for farmers and land owners, all breeds of engineers, accountants, busnessmen/busnesswomen, scientists, technitians, computer administrators, fueling station clerks, janitors, etc. New industries always drastically improvethe number of jobs created (yes, this will be multiple job industries because renewable energy includes wind power, solar power, fuel cell power, biomass power, and geothermal power just to name a few).

    - To "security moms" and conservatives who still support Bush's war on terror in the middle east: The big reason why many middle eastern muslims hate us is because we have established military bases in Saudi Arabia and other holy muslim sites to protect our oil intersts. The war in Iraq was launched in order to exploit Iraq's fossile fuel natural resources and the whole reason why we deal with Islamic theocratic dictators in the middle east is for oil. Our thirst for middle eastern oil is the root of their terrorism towards us. Without oil, America would be safer from terrorism.

Thefact of the matter is that renewable energy and environmentalism is something that conservatives can totally get behind. They just don't because the oil men ruling the white house have made it a partisan issue. What we have to do is use our marketing skills to try to appeal to conservatives to get them to join us on this issue. With the right choice of words and salesmanship, we can make the environmental movement not just a liberal movement but a bipartisan revolution.

Chase, if Robertson comes to this through an understanding of the science, then fine. But, if it's just another belief, and one that can be overriden or reshaped by something else he doesn't understand, it's not progress.

But, as someone else mentioned, if he really does get global warming and uses his influence to open his followers' minds to it, that would be great. He's made it extremely hard to trust his motives, though.

  58. Chicken Little Says:

Global warming can not be blamed on the burning of fossil fuels. Smog, polluted beaches, acid rain, maybe even the wars in the Middle East but seriously the human element is minor. Try reading the recent studies on the Mid-Atlantic rift, try looking up what the scientific communities have said about Antartic ice cores and past climates. Look up the studies on recent solar activity and solar flares. Global warming is real but as much as we can manipulate the environment only homosapien egomaniacs are pliable enough to fall for it being completely man made. I agree if Pat Robertson thinks it's real it must be BS after all this geezer also says he can leg press over 2000 lbs because of his GNC nutrition shake. AND I"M NOT KIDDING.

My question is if the lab work there, in general, is really close-minded. I mean, my impression is that in US, you get there and they put you in front of an instrument and just read measurements out of the display. And thats your PhD, really specific, accurate but narrow, while in Europe, the study is a little more open, learning things from this and that. Is that so?

  93. DrSinker Says:

    Juan,

I just wanted to add my $0.02 to your question concerning PhD study in the US. I didn't take what you asked about sitting in front of an instrument to be literal.

Things are more directed than in Europe, in my opinion. I think trueblue is right about folks being in on the big picture, and if you have ideas of your own it won't be a problem (provided they're roughly in line with the lab). However, most Ph.D. students in my experience do not hit the ground running knowing exactly what they want to do and how to do it.

I think thesis advisors tend to push/direct more in the US than in Europe however. Things tend to be more funding-driven in the US. That being said, there are some departments in the US that take a very hands-off approach - the Ph.Ds are very self directed. I know of several biology programs like that.

  94. trueblue Says:

I go to Cambridge every chance I get. Why, in a week or so,
MiniBlue and I are seeing the Body Worlds exhibit at the Boston Museum of Science. Gunther somethingorother (my laziness at work @ 11:17pm when I should be asleep...) is displaying *real* cadavers for us to see and explore!
    My reaction: "COOL!"

I can't wait! (But then again, I was the one in Bio class, when the rabbits were presented for dissection, turned to my lab partner and said,"Be very, very quite, We're huntin' wabbitts!")

  95. Juan C Says:

Zoo, thank you very much for your comments about a hypothetical meeting between true and me, if thats what I understood (otherwise, I will be so embarrased I will hide myself for weeks). But, I am 29 and totally intimidated by a huge-hearted scientific like true.

    Comment by DrSinker — August 3, 2006 @ 11:09 pm

Very helpful, Dr. Sinker. Thanks a lot. That is somehow my opinion. For example, Intel says: I would give money to a 10 year project in order to find a cost-effective electronic cooling process above 100 W/cm². So, if you go, say, Stanford with Professor X and he says, well we have this, take it or leave it. And, in Europe, this is based in mere suppositions, of course, you have more flexibility.

  96. DrSinker Says:

    Juan,

That can be the case. However, many programs in the US admit first-year Ph.Ds en-masse, and let them find an advisor/project over the course of the first year. So you have an opportunity to shop around. And generally, the better the school, the more projects there will be, and the greater the chances of you finding a project that suits you.

There are also many fellowship programs that will support you for four or so years, working on a project of your own. But these generally go to US citizens.

  97. Juan C Says:

True: In fact MIT is kind of an ego thing. There are a lot of good universities and in my opinion whats important is the student (this is a nice III world argument to makes us feel better, ha!). I just want to go there and shake Chomsky´s hand.

Never ever ever fall for Pat Robertson. He never does anything without a strategic reason. If we have a (temporarily) cooler summer, as another poster says, he may claim god listened to pat.

My bigger concern is that the rapture right will adopt a simple, obvious interpretation - that god is creating hell on earth. How easy to say that this is the apocolypse. Warming is accelerating faster than earlier predictions and even faster than some of the newer more pessimistic scientific models predict.

Given the terrible possibilities, WHY NOT join up with the f==brain religionists just in case they turn out to be right about the end of days - after all, what's to lose? It's survivor time...and Pat will play into it, you watch.

  148. The Communist Right Says:

I'm not ready to say Pat Robertson has joined the political mainstream, nor am I willing to form an alliance with him. But I don't see any reason why Pat Robertson's acknowledgement that global warming is real could be a bad thing. It may start to bring around some of those on the Christian Right who have been in denial thus far.

  149. Troubled Texan Says:

Robertson is such a piece of shit. He sees his tele-evangical ministry declining over the last two years.
Isn't this the same guy that said the US should whack Hugo Chávez?

His remarks against Islams and muslims: More than once has Robertson voiced a negative opinion on the religion of Islam. During a 1995 taping of The 700 Club, he called the religion a "Christian heresy".[41] During a September 19, 2002 episode of FOX News Channel's Hannity & Colmes, Robertson claimed that the Islamic Prophet Muhammad, was "an absolute wild-eyed fanatic … a robber and a brigand."[42] He claimed on the September 14, 2004 episode of The 700 Club that "Islam is by the gun, by the fire, by the bayonet, by the torch."[citation needed] On the July 14, 2005 broadcast of the The 700 Club, he claimed that "Islam, at its core, teaches violence."[43]

On the March 13, 2006 broadcast of The 700 Club Robertson stated that Muslims want global domination and that the outpouring of rage elicited by cartoon drawings of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad "just shows the kind of people we're dealing with. These people are crazed fanatics, and I want to say it now: I believe it's motivated by demonic power. It is Satanic and it's time we recognize what we're dealing with." He finished by stating "by the way, Islam is not a religion of peace."[44]

The Rev. Barry W. Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, called Robertson's new comments "grossly irresponsible." He went on to say, "At a time when inter-religious tensions around the world are at an all-time high, Robertson seems determined to throw gasoline on the fire.

We should be grateful that a highly public, Christian Evangelical figure has raised some awareness. For too long Environmentalists have been on the defensive, and so we are accustomed to fighting with anyone who considers themselves Conservative even in moments when we agree. Let us hope that Mr. Robertson’s revelation will lead many more people to actually conserve. Creation Care is a growing movement amongst Christians who rightly believe we were intended to be stewards of the Earth, not the destroyers. I am thankful for Mr. Robert’s comment, and find it difficult to believe he is gaining financially from it. If anything I worry Exxon-Mobil will be after his head.

My take of the Pat 'awaking' is that he got into his car and it would not start and the air conditioning would not work and the sun was high and it was blazing hot. So Pat got his trusty Bible to look up auto repair-electronics, motor, and found nothing.
Imagine Pat's delema, the Bible as the word of God and his car was dead. Maybe there is something to this science stuff?

    An 'inconvenient' revelation!

A short step later a science buff is new born! Praise Galeleo!

  157. Cole... Says:

However, I have to question Pat's sudden state of alarm--if Pat accepts Global warming as fact then that just means the irreligous right is one step closer to killing the planet and thus one step closer to the leap to Heaven. Rejoice Pat!

Is it possible that Pat and his flock would rather stay alive than go to Heaven sooner?
Why are there no rich guys in foxholes?

  158. Arriba Says:

“we really need to do something on fossil fuels.” Per Robertson's quote. Um, last I heard, Pat Robertson didn't profess to believe that there were any such things as fossils being as he has previously stated the belief that the world, yeay verily the entire universe, is only a few thousands of years old. Reports vary as just how many thousands but it's certainly not the MANY millions of years required to produce "fossil fuels'. So one DOES have to wonder what impact his sudden belief in "fossil fuels" has on his "religious philosophy". As for what impact it has on his wallet, that remains to be seen. But I'd suspect that his sudden "conversion" to a "green" stance has a lot more to do with his wallet than his beliefs - whatever they may be. But most people of the thinking persuasion know THAT. I trust whatever pronouncements come out of the mouth of Pat Robertson to be honest about as far as I could throw a grand piano while standing on the "surface" of Jupiter.

I thank my buddy Rob on a message board for bringing this point to my attention - he knows who he is. I also thank Lady Sarabeth for providing the link to the discussion here. As an embattled but not bowed Texas liberal, the internet is my lifeline to sanity. :-) Texas was BORN in a revolution. We could have another one to take back our state. Though I'm much more in favor of a "revolution" involving the ballot box, not the cartridge box. To paraphrase a quote from James Watt. But I digress. IMO if Pat Robertson has changed his stance on global warming it's because he thinks that there's some money to be made by doing so.

  163. Tony Harvey Says:

I believe any hope that the problem of climate change can be solved within the existing economic framework of Neo-Liberal Capitalism will prove to be utterly unfounded. To try to put this right without rectifying the clapped out global financial system won’t work and environmentalists doing so will carry on coming up against a brick wall. They need to look at the way this system works and intellectually grow beyond the conditioning that economics and finance can only be understood by economists and financiers. Of course its true that they are doing something very useful in highlighting to the unaware the “elephant standing in the corner” but we’re all locked in to an international economic system that most effectively blocks substantial change. **New Para**
Let me try to explain. The two main cornerstones of Western economies are usury and speculation. Usury in that the vast majority of money in circulation has been electronically created by the commercial banks, is called by them “credit” and is lent to Governments and individuals for quick profit not for a particular motive of world betterment. No-thing moves when electronic money circulates when you use your debit card, direct debits, cheques etc and when Governments borrow money- all that happens is that the drawer’s account data entry is debited (decremented) and the payee’s is credited, (incremented). So this money can be created at negligible cost to the banks because it is created and exists only as a DATA entry in our electronic bank accounts and is exchanged between them as such only. The stuff in your wallet/purse created by the Royal Mint for the Bank of England (whose revenue DOES accrue to the state) represents a tiny fraction of all the ‘money’ that exists, the vast majority originated as loans mostly created- yes, out of thin air- by the commercial banks under this “fractional reserve banking system”, circulates electronically between banks’ computers and the vast profit (interest) levied on all of us accrues to bankers not Governments. For more information on how this amazing system has evolved (which one could be forgiven for thinking has been deliberately designed with a main aim to enrich private financial elites) in the UK and many, many countries I refer you to the expert writings, monetary reform proposals and how you can protest- at http://www.moneyreformparty.org.uk and http://www.jamesrobertson.com. I think most people fondly imagine that when they press 'Balance Request' on the cash machine, the computer figure that comes back represents the amount of notes, coins and/or precious metals their bank holds for them in some vault somewhere! Even pretty low corporation tax is often avoided by the use of foreign tax havens, (At least £20 Billion total in the UK per annum avoided at 2003 figures- War on Want ‘Tax Havens Briefing’- http://www.waronwant.org/?lid=5441). The need for the continuing increase of the assault on the world’s resources substantially stems from the imperative of “economic growth” which is necessary to keep up with the ever spiralling overall interest payments due on the explosion in recent years of different types of loans created by commercial banks and other private interests. I read that this enormous growth in private credit has been allowed to occur with all its wanton increase in the consumption of resources and debt hardship because of outsourcing by corporations of huge amounts of skilled & unskilled jobs to developing countries with cheap labour and minimal regulations under globalisation (“corporate flight”). With the generally decreasing availability therefore of properly paid quality jobs, to make ends meet governments, public services (eg using PFI) and individuals in the richer (developed) nations have all had to be allowed to borrow more and more; Its only this explosion of credit that has been plugging the gap in our economies. I recommend the reading of the website and books by the US professor of economics Ravi Batra who has a lot of hard hitting and extremely interesting things to say on this matter, http://www.ravibatra.com. **New Para**
I refer to the ‘cornerstone of Speculation’ in that National economies and their populations are utterly dependant on the $2 Trillion or so (equivalent) that changes hands electronically every DAY- untaxed- around the world on the “financial markets” in search of speculative quick profit unrelated to any exchange of real goods or services. Utterly dependant because National Governments create hardly any of the money that is in circulation as I have already explained and they need to compete internationally to keep on attracting this privately created & transmitted globally mobile electronic money which has become the lifeblood of all our economies. Financiers and corporations increasingly trade IN money not WITH money, since deregulation in the 1980s- eg Removal of foreign capital exchange controls (and credit controls) which happened then. Why did we multi-nationally give up so much control over our economies then to those which to many might seem like a load of locusts? Are the ones (within the IMF, WB?) who pushed our nations’ leaders to do this still in positions of influence? In this “liberalised” regime why create, innovate and trade in cumbersome goods when one can make far more far quickly and with far less risk just by moving money (data) and money instruments between computers around the world? Almost all the global financial institutions and even many corporations are at it, a parasitic activity. A “monstrous global casino” in the words of sustainable economics columnist Hazel Henderson. Any government that even publicly SPEAKS of restricting it, or taxing it, or significantly environmentally regulating the stock market listed business that it invests in, or getting off the absurd merry-go-round of competing with other nations to clamp down on corporation tax so as to attract employment and capital, or creating their OWN electronic (credit) money, or even threatening tax havens, faces economically disastrous capital flight to nations NOT doing so within hours on the trading computers on the stock markets and the derivatives computers of the international corporations and banks. You see how the financier oligarchy has got us all over a barrel? No Government dare even publicly consider democratically demanded change to the status quo. No corporation dare significantly reduce the current quick profit return to its international capital investors by SIGNIFICANT investment in alternative forms of energy & transportation as to do so invites a declining share price and capital flight to corporations not doing so. The intellectual economist Lyndon LaRouche in Executive Intelligence Review (see below) actually uses the term “Financier Oligarchy” referring to the way our ‘democracies’ are going under the economic & corporate globalisation model I have already described. If you think carefully about it you might realise that under neo-liberalism what we have is a global financial tyranny where essential human needs come second to nations being forced to compete with each other to make often fabulously wealthy owners of international capital- grow even richer- for no effort. Before anyone pulls the “pension funds” ‘old chestnut’ on me, let me retort that I recently heard on a BBC financial programme that only 20% of shares are owned by pension funds. A POSSIBLE SOLUTION to re-gain control over international capital and corporations by electorates and governments is proposed by “The Simultaneous Policy” at http://www.simpol.org and I believe progressives might feel their strategy warrants participation. **New Para**
Most mainstream media outlets are owned by stock market listed corporations. Does anyone believe such a corporation will allow SERIOUS debate in its pages or TV stations, of reform to the international financial system when it is this system that is the investment hand that feeds it, both owning the shares and placing the corporate adverts? Does anyone seriously believe that one example tabloid and TV/news station owning international corporation that currently pays no corporation tax in the UK by the use of tax havens will seriously allow such debate in its media outlets? I’m not suggesting columnists and editors are directly told what to say and what not to, but they know there are limits which they must not cross if they are to retain their jobs which are mostly in the form of shortish term renewable (or not) contract posts. And most of them seem never to have asked themselves what money really is, who creates it, who administers its circulation, who profits from it and why no Government of left OR right credentials strangely refuses to reinstate fair corporate taxation and environmental regulations ONCE IN POWER despite the obvious dire financial state of our public services, worsening annually, and the developed countries still paltry overall help to the developing ones whose populations are starving to death in their millions monthly for the want of the huge surplus of food per capita that exists worldwide (Some 10%- look up UN Statistics). It should be obvious surely that there’s a CHRONIC lack of money for foreign aid and public services for all our government’s sorry obfuscation that the latter need more “modernising”, ie. another round of cuts. The neo-liberal free movement of capital & corporations is leaving the competing nations’ governments with a chronic lack of cash for public spending on virtually everything- from palaces to prisons. **New Para**
I believe that "Planet Earth [environment] is in a sad and perilous condition while each day brings it nearer to the critical... [and] that even the most dire prophecy falls short of the calamity facing the world today. Few there are who see the immediacy of the threat and the urgency of the steps needed to counter it", (this quote from http://www.share-international.org). Anyone who seriously believes that humanity can burn off gigantic amounts of carbon into the atmosphere daily over what will total to some 200 years (in the form of greenhouse gases from fossil fuels) that had been gradually accumulated beneath the earth over hundreds of MILLIONS of years, and while annually cutting down tens of millions of acres of atmosphere purifying tropical forests- all of this without incurring MAJOR upheaval and destruction to the earth’s life supporting natural climate systems- is conditioned and deluded indeed. **New Para**
I believe that only a total and systemic collapse of the world’s financial system will bring humanity to its senses and- (even though I know this itself would cause major trauma for a while because we have allowed stock market listed corporations to take over most food and energy production and distribution worldwide)- it is my belief and hope that this is coming to pass. (I refer again to the writings of economics professor Ravi Batra). The men of money’s selfish greed and competition is over-reaching itself at long last and the frantic efforts to prop up the system behind the scenes are at long last crumbling. “The REAL economy has fallen out from under the markets which have been artificially propped up by accounting tricks, enormous and unpayable debt loads, and mass delusion on the part of the markets and the public” (John Hoefle banking columnist, and refer also to the writings of economist’s Lyndon LaRouche’s Executive Intelligence Review for more information, http://www.larouchepub.com). The signs of the oncoming collapse are obvious for those who look beyond their own narrow interests and look below the surface at powerful people’s MOTIVES- not what they SAY but what they DO and WHY that might be- with objectivity. People who make the effort to READ & STUDY widely. Anyone who thinks that substantially unrestrained powerful people in today’s out of democratic control globalised capital/corporate world have not been manipulating to retain and enhance their own selfish interests, and who denounces those who highlight this as “conspiracy theorists”, is deluded and conditioned indeed. They have just not reflected seriously on the sad condition of greed and fear of loss as well as spiritual poverty and poverty of intellect that dominates the natures of many, many of our fellow human being financier oligarchs in power. We live in a competitive economic culture which makes a VIRTUE out of consumption and greed and it's essential that more & more of us realise it, detach from it and protest peacefully against it. If we want to survive un-decimated as a species, we’ve surely got some major waking up to do- and quickly.

    WORLD WAR TREE!
    Saving our Planet!

Most of us have seen the 60’s cartoon with the long white haired hippy caring his sign, “The World will End at 6:00pm”. He has his friend behind him caring another sign, “Film at 11:00pm”. Kind of funny the first time you saw it… But what has anyone done about it? Do you know, and if not, then why not? Hollywood has made an excellent scare tactic film called, “The Day After Tomorrow”, based on a simple theme. That theme was the North Atlantic Current being stalled by not enough sea salt in the water. They explain that the polar ice melting is the last in a chain of events that bring about their cinema “ICE AGE”. We are now dumping 30 trillion gallons of fresh water a year into the North Atlantic due to global warming. This fictional “Stalling of the North Atlantic Current” started coming to pass over TWO YEARS AGO, in the year 2004! The only places I’ve seen that critical information is on a Discovery Channel Documentary titled “Addicted to Oil”, and a Science Channel Documentary titled “Big Freeze”… A new Ice-age or a constantly increasing Global Warming, either way the Super-Storms are here now, and they will be getting worse each year we continue burning carbon based products for our stored energy! Another Documentary from the Discovery Channel well worth seeing is titled, “GLOBAL WARMING, WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW”! According to all three, Europe will become an ice box in the next 20 to 50 years!
Some of our “World and National Leaders” would rather you did not dwell on this information for at least another 20 years… and why do you ask? Could the answer be that they want to increase their fortunes yet again, by not giving the common person all the facts? Read what I have written. If you have strong feelings about it, “THEN MAKE” at least two other people read it, without making changes in it, or read it to them. Then send “YOUR THOUGHTS” to at least 1 politician at every level of your government. These thoughts must go World Wide by the end of this year! Stop “Turning the other Cheek” as you’ve been brainwashed into doing. THINK!!! Re-read the passage on “Turning the other Cheek” and figure out how someone can be hit on their right cheek, by anyone who is right handed, without being back handed like a child. In those times they killed left handed children for being different (they ate with the hand they were to wipe their backsides with), so that’s not the answer. They must have been hit from behind… but even that answer tends to trigger some anger. Could it be that the term was intended to get people to think and learn of ways to better themselves? Somehow it now has the meaning of “Accept your given lot in this life because you can not change it!” For all Christians and Non-Christians reading this I apologize if this offends you, but Profit or Savior these words of Jesus have been used to keep the commoners in line for hundreds of years. I intend them to help inflame the passions of everyone in the World who has a child into making a difference today and for the next 5 years… not in another 20 years from now when the oil age is projected to come to its end! (The golden goose will die!)
In the United States, the second biggest thief in its history is known as “Honest Abe” (He only stole from Americans)! Before his Emancipation Proclamation every Citizen of any State had the “Rights of the King!” Did the Emancipation Proclamation level the playing field for those non-whites (Except the Indian, they were considered a Nation unto themselves) by granting them the “Rights of the King”, or did it serve to remove certain freedoms guaranteed the commoners under the Constitution! Have you ever read it, or did you believe in what you were taught in school? A school set up by those in power to keep them in power. There are many ways to “Spin Doctor” any kind of information! They’d went so far as to have a new LEGAL DICTIONARY made, where words have different meanings due to the punctuation used, or if the word is capitalized or not. Vital words like Citizen and citizen do not have the same meaning, and only one of them has rights under the Constitution! Have you been tricked into signing away your rights or not?
History is the written word of how the victor hides the truth. It comes down to control, supply, and demand! You will not get the proper amount of untainted information unless you demand it! Even then, someone will be taking advantage somehow, getting you that information. Its Human nature! I know this sounds like I’m being an extremist… but I believe everyone is created un-equal… un-educated… un-informed… un-employed… created as a un-person if you like. These un-people have the “Golden Rule” forced on them. Those with the gold make the rules (how un-Fair is that?). I say to you HERE AND NOW that it’s your “RESPONSIBILITY” to know what those rules cost you, and your children, as well as your fellow commoners in another country. This is your wake up call!
The U.S. dependence upon non-renewable energy is destroying our planet! China is going through modernizations, catching up to where the U.S. is now, with thousands of new cars a day and a new coal burning power plant every week… that’s not to mention the world’s biggest polluters of all, Jet Powered Aircraft and International Airports! We need to find solutions that fix our WORLD WIDE problems! We have too many people trying to make tomorrow childproof for the adults! We’ll need more people working on there being a tomorrow without super-storms, or an Ice-age, because we waited 20 years!
We are told that Hydrogen is the answer… OK, let’s go with it, but we need a way to get the massive amount of hydrogen needed… while at the same time increasing the salt levels and reducing the heat of our Oceans, and reducing carbon-dioxide in the air! The answer is so simple… build special islands to extract hydrogen and oxygen (along with some of our pollutants) from the ocean water, and return the salt without processing it by the ton for a gram of gold. Sell the Hydrogen and oxygen for fuel, with a byproduct of heat and water. We also use our Islands to extract carbon-dioxide from the air, and use it to grow plants, convert it to oxygen and carbon, or store it as dry ice. In the following pages I will share many thoughts on how to do this, for a Profit to the Entire World! That Profit is seeing the weather stay in a livable condition. I’m asking for a world wide “Holy War” to save “Our Planet Home”! Please, I beg of you, set aside your hatred for your fellow human beings for just a few years! Help bring about a future without the threat of super storms, another ice-age, or runaway global warming for both my child and yours!
“We”, the “People of the World” need to band together and put a stop to not only “Global Warming” but Famine as well. What you do with your life should be up to you, but there has to be a planet left to do it on, that’s the rules. No dead people are allowed to play! Death by starvation, super storms, food riots, bad water, or “N.B.C. WARFARE”, dead is still dead. I’m not asking you to give up your dreams of murdering your neighbor, just to put those dreams aside for 5 years!!!! That’s all it would take with the proper motivation from everyone on the planet! Those of a Tribal Culture know for a fact that we are killing Mother and Father Earth! Recycling isn’t enough by itself! We’ve got to reverse the damage done already, not just have a point system for who’s to blame! I’m not saying don’t mine coal; I’m saying turn the coal into coke, grind it into powder and plow it into the farmlands of the world. Give the plants more carbon and they will grow healthier, faster, and stronger! Give them the trace minerals from powdered shale left over from when plants covered the earth and you will have some of the richest farmland in the world! Lacking that, read what I’ve put together on A-Frame Hydroponics!
    How many times have you been told that there are no simple answers? Who were you told this by? I guess they meant to say there are no Inexpensive answers! I’ll be sharing several radically new ideas with you. These ideas have come about before or during my lifetime, but have not been put into widespread use. World changing ideas like;
    1) High Carbon Hydroponics with Electro-Magnetic Stimulation or A-Frame Hydroponics for short. Learn how I plan to grow food hundreds of times faster, and with more trace minerals and vitamins then they have now (at least in my Country). This will help people live longer and healthier lives. Think of fast growing trees using these new methods. For that matter, how about a simple solar powered water meter that gives off these super grow signals (Insect and bird sounds mostly) for your house plants. After all, we’ll have to pay for building these islands somehow. The governments won’t pay!
    2) Subliminal Learning. A process I’ve put together to take full advantage of how the very young learn, and re-awaken this relaxed learning in adults. Our Islands will have the world’s best learning and teaching available to every volunteer worker and their families. As the children come of age, this schooling will include working in every shop on the island for a few weeks, gaining a practical knowledge of things they’ve been studying.
    3) Carbon Fiber Construction. This will bring to light a new building concept I’ve been thinking of, based on the “Super-Hex Beam”. Through the use of Hex Beam construction, homes can be made to withstand 300 mile per hour winds, or force 10 earthquakes, with little or no structural damage. Security doors can become as impenetrable as bank vaults with six to ten points holding them closed, instead of the single point in use now. Homes, Islands, and factories can be “kit” built for a fraction of what they cost now. One of the most astounding points is that the foam insulation has nearly perfect soundproofing room to room. I know that makes a major difference to those living near an airport as I do!
    4) Solar powered Boilers. When solar power is mentioned, most people have been trained to think of electricity… but instead think of solar powered Lasers making high pressure steam! By using an array of parabolic solar collectors, non-imaging optics, and mirrored spheres, we could focus hundreds of these beams at any single point within the Island. If you must think of electricity, then think about high speed turbine driven, 3 stage brushless generators, and how we are going to electronically match their 400 Hz outputs.
    5) Pulse Turbine Engine. While the world waits for this planet saving change from oil to hydrogen, they will need special engines that can run on either fuel, or a wide variety of alternative fuels! These alternative fuels include methane, propane, alcohol, Bio-diesel, producer gas, and many more. If my theory works, these engines will be in huge demand, with sizes ranging from those to power skateboards, scooters, and bicycles, to those large enough to power the busses, subways, and maybe even trains all around the world!
    6) Construct a Hover-craft Island. Basically you could say these will be the world’s largest self-propelled pontoon barges. Think of a large honeycomb, with six 55 gallon (208 L) drums attached to each line. I have yet to do the math, but at a square league (About 9 square miles, or 23.31 square kilometers) that adds up to major flotation! If in the construction we use the marine version of the Super-Hex Beams, and Hexagonal construction for each flat surface, each Island could support hundreds of windmill generators. Power enough for any manufacturing project, and that’s in addition to the solar powered laser energy! We’ll even be using Sterling Engines and Minto wheels to recycle our waste heat from steam condenser units. We’ll have to come up with a new International Symbol for goods produced on the islands. Goods with this Trade-mark will be in high demand (if they are not excise taxed to death) world wide by informed people.
    7) The Special Purpose Islands. We’ve known for years that raising silt to the surface promotes plankton growth. A few Islands in key areas of the world could help bring back the fish, by increasing the first link in their food chain, not to mention giving off oxygen. It is my firm belief that a blanket of plankton keeps the oceans a degree or two cooler. Of course, we would be growing other plants and raising fish, goats, sheep, chickens, mini-cows, worms, and other animals and insects as well. We will have Islands with the task of using solar powered lasers to incinerate garbage and toxic waste, turning them into more carbon fibers, to build more islands, if that can be done. No more just dumping our trash into the Oceans! We’ll need help from every thinking mind on how to best heal our home planet! Mining Islands will be used to investigate the continental shelves for the Iron and nickel nodules, while building frames for new reefs, and placing them. What’s your idea?
Well, for extra money how about traveling, waterslides, factories, carnivals, casinos, etc.
    8) LAWYERS! The military and commercial might of one of these islands could be devastating in the wrong hands. Therefore I believe they should have a new International class of Registration, or a United Nations Registration if you will, as well as their country of record. I’ll need help from every sea lawyer who discovers themselves impassioned by reading this document! That is, until we have our own International Lawyers with highly augmented training using “Subliminal Learning”. (10 years of book learning in 10 days.) I’ll probably need your help anyway just for the treason of writing these Articles of War!
I do not want Protesters or Terrorists; I NEED “WARRIORS” THAT ARE WILLING TO USE THEIR GIFTS TO REPAIR THIS PLANET! I need people that know how to teach and learn! I need people who know how to make money, and invest it in our future. I need people who love to make things grow. I need people who love working with their hands building and fixing things. Most of all I need to legally protect both our Nature Warriors and me from those who will attack us out of their ignorance and greed.
    9) Retractable Vortex Z-Drives. This is my design theory for a high volume and high pressure water-jet that will throw foreign objects away from the intake instead of fouling the impeller stack. These potent drive units could be retrofit to be lowered from the stern and bow of some kinds of hard to turn Ships, as a pilot controlled backup for the sea tugs.
    10) Stopping the Root Cause!!! Los Angles, California, U.S. dumps millions of gallons of fresh water into the ocean every day, when we are trying to limit the amounts of polar ice melting… go figure. Just because it came from someone’s toilet does not mean we cannot divert it to water farmland. You build a 300+ mile pipeline to get drinking water from the high desert, and then instead of returning it to the water table you simply dump it in the ocean. WHY??????????? FIX IT, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! New York City Too!!!!!!
Hundreds of years ago, in South America, they dealt with sewage by mixing it with powdered charcoal. (Not the same kind you find in a bag at the store. That charcoal has many additive chemicals so it will burn fast and evenly.) They would bury this mixture and then harvest the worm dropping enriched earth for years as the richest soil in the world! We should be able to do the same thing with coke from coal. (We gain producer gas in the process!) We would add powdered shale to the mixture (5coke:2shale), for the trace mineral content. Worms are nature’s lowly sewage treatment workers. Mark Funk found a water plant that thrives in the sewage water (Effluent, Bilge water, Waste matter) of processing plants in Florida. This fast growing water hyacinth could feed numbers of different harvest animals. I charge everyone to look around you and see where we NEED to improve the way we do things! I am not out to put people out of work! Believe it or not doing things in harmony with nature will in point of fact create even more new jobs! You will need to become a Warrior sooner or later, so make it now and fight for W. W. Tree!

    A-FRAME HYDROPONICS
By combining knowledge learned by such green thumbs as Bill Lermer, Dan Carlson of Minnesota, and Luther Burbank, with the common sense of your average farmer and a sewage treatment method from ancient S. America, I’ve compiled a hydroponics package I call “A-FRAME HYDROPONICS”! (The Harris/Funk Method sounds nice too I guess) Speaking of Mark Funk, he now tells me about using hydrogen-peroxide to keep molds from growing in our nutrient solution. I do not know how this will interact with what we plan. Major testing and evaluation of our hydroponics theories will be required I’m sure. I mean after all, who’s going to believe the reason we have a solar plant over head is so we can attach wires from the metal reflectors. Metal tape will be strung about as antennas for growing crops. I can’t remember where I read about the research, just that it succeed. It involved 2 iron plates connected by a copper wire and six generations of healthy plants grown in total darkness. (Personally, I think the guy was smoking what he was growing!)
Since the days of Luther Burbank, it's been known that music and sound can influence vegetation. In our so called modern times no one did much with this knowledge until Dan Carlson of Blaine, Minnesota made it his Life's Work. After years of heavy research, Dan Carlson pinpointed the frequency that energizes plants, 5,000Hz. Interestingly, the range of many bird's songs and some insect sounds are also around 5,000Hz.
Carlson embedded the pulsed 5,000Hz sound in tapes of other music. He played his "Dinner Music" for plants, and then he sprayed them with nutrients. The music helped the plants absorb nutrients with 700% greater efficiency! A 4.5” purple passion plant (whose normal size is about 18”), treated with Carlson's dinner music and nutrients for 2.5 years, grew to 1,400 feet long! This feat gained him a place in the "Guinness Book of World Records"! Carlson's musical Fertilizer has transformed farms having severely depleted soil, increasing their harvests by 25 fold. Carlson has realized a 5:1 acceleration in crop production using his hybrid hydroponics process within the normal farming environment. To my limited knowledge, Mr. Dan Carlson’s methods have yet to be applied into a pure Hydroponics environment, especially the new ways I’ll want to introduce them.
Fluorescent grow lights could be employed, in the Carlson style, if we modify the A.C. frequency from the 50-60-400Hz. now in use to 5 KHz. Any competent electronics engineer could design our innovative lighting ballast, given our needs. This should not only enhance the lighting output, by stabilizing the pulsing flicker of the fluorescent, but would add an electromagnetic "Fertilizer" to the growth process. If we also design the light ballast so it could harmonize with our "Dinner Music", say by a secondary speaker output with a random timer for a few seconds of 5 KHz sounds, an additional surge in accelerated growth could be attained. It is my firm belief that the electromagnetic fields, produced with our present 50-60Hz. technology, may actually be retarding the plant's growth process with what we now know of Mr. Dan Carlson's “Radiant” achievements! Due to how I plan on using hundreds of thousands of these lights, a way of using them as a public address system would be in order as well. We may need to talk to our plants and our farmers, while they’re listening to their 5 KHz chirping dinner music.
It has been proven that fluorescent light tubes produce a small amount of both positive and negative ions. It has also been proven that negative ions amplify "Healthy" growth of life as we know it. For this reason the electronic ballast of our "FLORESCENCE" lights will use pulsating D.C. rather that A.C. (we move the sign-wave below 0 volts, and then connect the 0 volt potential to the nutrient solution ground.). With the proper polarization, our light tubes would only be producing negatively charged ions. Granted, the amount of negative ions would be small, but every little bit helps. The plants should function as an antenna, pulling in the ions, and their 5 KHz stimulation, as fast as they could. Plants also require carbon-dioxide for photosynthesis. If we employed forced ventilation of carbon-dioxide through a grid style negative ion generator, also set with the same 0 volt floating ground system, yet another increase in healthy growth potential should be realized.
(So, design a "FLORESCENCE" light based on 8 KHz that broadcasts a Neurophone subliminal signal of “Learn all you can while you may, for the more you learn today, the more you’ll EARN tomorrow!” for use in the Public Schools of America. As if I thought you would… Parents would actually get their children back! When you decide to test it out in U.S. prisons, and I’m sure you will, you’ll be astonished at how well it works!)
Expanding on our plant nurturing "FLORESCENCE" light technology, if we design a version for underwater use, by means of heavy gauge “Lexan” tubing, we could elevate algae production! The primary consideration in Aquaponics is feeding our aquatic life. Even a doubling of a primary fish food would help raise productivity. It is my personal belief that with the proper spacing of lights, say on a frame set to grow a new coral reef, the algae growth layer could be greatly expanded by circumventing the light choke-off point. A few solar panel buoys for a test case are all we’d need to see if this bothers the fish. We’d need to mark that area as a testing region for our new reefs. Our buoys would act as relay stations for vital information gathered through cameras and sensor as well.
During my research on plants I came across an article by Mr. Bill Lermer titled,
“MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH IN BIOCHEMISTRY OBVIATES NEED FOR CO2 SUPPLEMENTATION “. Here’s the first paragraph as it appeared on the web.
    “By Bill Lermer
Animals intake oxygen, and exhale carbon dioxide. CO2 is composed of carbon and oxygen, but plants use far more carbon than oxygen. This is why plants intake carbon, but exhale oxygen. Plants combine carbon with water and fertilizer to produce phosphitides and sugars, two major components of flowers and leaves. It is possible for animals to obtain oxygen in a liquid, rather than a gas. It is also possible for non-aquatic plants to obtain carbon in a liquid instead of a CO2 gas.”
Throughout the article Mr. Bill Lermer refers to liquid carbon that the plants will use instead of breaking down CO2. He makes it clear that plants need a certain type of carbon to do this, as shown in this later paragraph.
“The nutrient value of organic soil comes from composted animals, animal waste, plants, and minerals. Since the root cells cannot ordinarily and readily absorb complex organic molecules, bacteria and enzymes are normally necessary to break down the material into the atomic form. It is then absorbed by the roots and re-assembled inside the plant. However, a special form of carbon can fuse with the roots through a process known as cellular transfection. This means that complex organic molecules suspended in the water are injected whole into the roots. This is different from the traditional method, which only slowly releases the organic fertilizer. This is why the liquid carbon method can result in fertilizer overdose if used in organic soil. Growth stimulants found in seaweed can mitigate this effect.”
In the middle of reading this, in walks my good friend Mark Funk, with a noteworthy thought on how the ancient South Americans had “Soil Farms”. They took their human sewage and mixed it with powdered charcoal, and buried it. For the next several years they would peal off the extremely fertile top soil and sell it. New top soil would appear for every spring’s harvest. I have just 2 words for that thought, “WORM DROPPINGS!”
My mind just turns things over and over till I find what I feel is a better way of doing things. Like a few years ago I found out about colloidal vitamins and minerals, and how they can be absorbed by the body for better health. So I look for how Mother Nature did it in the first place, the Earth Worm! It seems to me that if the plants can take in carbon through their roots then we need to feed that to our worms. I feel a mixture of powdered shale is in order as well, and I’ll tell you why. Shale comes from layer upon layer of plant life compressed, just like coal, but without the same amount of pressure. It still has many trace minerals our bodies need to maintain good health. Provide a mixture for our Worm-Farm of; 3-5 parts powdered carbon (from charcoal or coke), add 2 parts powdered shale (from the most plant filled periods of the earth), & 1-2 parts of ground up simple organic foods (your average kitchen trash without the recyclables), for the worms to eat. We’d moisten this mineral mixture with liquid from pressing some of our plant stalks. Then collect the worm droppings and use them as very muddy water for our nutrient solution.
It may take 7 generations of talking to the plants for them to thrive on their new food, but I believe we will get an ever increasing bumper crop. There is a method that uses a 4” pipe to carry water to the plants. I feel that stacking them, like on the sides of a swing-set, would yield more plants per square foot. If we build it right, the top bar of the A-Frame provides water to the top most pipes on each side. These would have a slight slope for drainage, feeding the next pipe, and so on. In the center of the A-Frame we hang a pipe for not only a return of our nutrient solution, but to grow vine plants as well. You get the point I’m sure. Oh, the talking to the plants… well, look up prickly pear cactus and see how they made them without thorns. The same method of just talking to the plants will work as long as you believe it will when you talk to the plants! If you’ve never had a pet I’m not going to try explaining it to you. Just believe me when I tell you LOVE WORKS! In the spirit of Mr. Dan Carlson, someone should find out what that frequency is. I have a “Gut Feeling” or three on that subject, but that would be better saved for a later report. If this idea makes you that curious I’ll let you know that those frequencies are in this report.
There’s a company that makes a rack for moving trays of grain around on. I like the idea so much that I feel we should have stack after stack of them on the Islands. If we use them with NASA’s short stalked grains, we could grow 20 layers deep. By using the ebb and flow method, the top tray drains into the one below it, and so on. What you do is lock a layer of burlap onto the tray and spread a scoop of grain seed over it. The roots grow in, through, and around the burlap, using it like soil. If we have our trays on a chain driven jack, we can raise the layers once a day. We’d harvest from the top rack, with automatic equipment hanging from a rail on the ceiling. After harvesting the seeds, we remove the burlap and feed it to stock animals, grass, burlap, roots and all. We hand the tray down to the basement for replanting, and raise the jack for tomorrow’s harvest. Sense we planed it right, the burlap is just unlocked from the tray and flipped onto the conveyer belt between the racks. Rows of our "FLORESCENCE" lights would line either side of the jack, at the bottom of where the trays stop, with an extra set by the rail on the ceiling. Just remember, we are also making our own electrical power on the Islands as well. After planting and harvest, the bottled CO2 would be turned on and all humans out. We could get the grains to high-speed grow for 20 hrs a day with ease. Did I mention the mirrored tray-bottoms?
For reasons that will soon become apparent if you continue to read this report, we’ll be putting together a pamphlet on how you can build your own A-Frame Hydroponics set up at your home. The modern day Victory Garden! Who’d have thought it would be needed again, and this soon? The pamphlet will include information on how to build or buy the electronic ballasts of our "FLORESCENCE" lights. It’ll contain information on how to start and run a worm farm, and build the swing set styled framework that the pipes will be attached to. We’ll include ideas on how to keep bugs and animals away from your garden using cayenne pepper and beer. This is a poor mans pepper spray, and might not be legal in all states, so this will be for information only. You can decide if it violates any laws in your state, to make this excellent natural repellent. I may even include a list of LEGAL herbs for you to grow for yourselves, and to sell overseas for a huge profit using these methods. I don’t know yet, but I’ll know soon enough judging by what responses we get. (Besides, I plan on making Mark Funk write that one, he just doesn’t know it yet!)

    Subliminal Learning
(Not to be used in the wrong hands, even though I know it will be.)
It has been said that by reading a book a day, in the same field, you will become an expert in that field in 3 to 10 years. With the use of my proposed learning process, any-one could become an "EXPERT" in the theory of MANY given fields, in as little as 3 to 10 weeks! Students can absorb and retain the knowledge of over 300 books a day with this process! With my process as the heart of a "Think Tank", major leaps in technology will become a daily occurrence! This is the major reason I share this idea with the world.
By combining several "PROVEN" learning techniques into a single dynamic package, I can produce an ultra fast learning environment second to none. Merging a powerful relaxation system with subliminal reinforcement, I can familiarize people with how to generate Theta & Delta brainwaves at will, without falling asleep! In effect this will help awaken the photographic memory, and other Savant abilities, everyone possesses but are never taught how to use! Most of the wisdom we now have is due to the memorization of facts, and how we have joined unrelated facts, with intuitive insight, to create thoughts greater than the sum of their separate parts. This Intuitive insight comes directly from the Theta mindset, and has often been called creativity. We honor anyone who regularly taps into this intuitive well spring by calling them a Creative Genius! Mine is a process for mass producing Creative Genii (plural for genius)! The best part of the indelible learning program I envision is that the student doesn't have to give up any control, and discovers a priceless relaxation technique in the process. Relaxation they can use any where or time!
Some of the Techniques to be combined
Acupuncture, combined with a mild electrical current at the proper Frequencies, can produce remarkable results in altering the body/brain Condition! By passing a 111 Hertz electrical signal through the ear, at the proper acupuncture point (# 86 on the Heart/Lung Meridian of the ear) the body’s production of pleasure producing Endorphins is greatly stimulated (battery powered ear rings can do this). Endorphins (Happy Hormones) act as a natural anesthesia for total body relaxation. The same technique at other Acupuncture points and frequencies could be used to stimulate the body’s production of chemicals and hormones needed for memory, faster thought, suppressing addictions, pain control, rapid healing, dieting, and athletic performance. If we use electro-magnetic stimulation, normal medical electrodes replace needles required for Acupuncture, with extraordinary results.
On the other hand, we could just teach our subjects how to enter a state of mind to control these bodily functions on their own, once they have been shown them and taught how to manage them using these external devices. Another effective piece of equipment I would use in the float tank is a form of Mr. Pat Flanagan’s “NEUROPHONE”! As many “Revival” tents across the country have found out, a neurophone signal, with its effective mind altering subliminal message, can be broadcast from a simple antenna. I’m sure we can find a way to use an 8,000 Hz carrier wave for the signal. A grid antenna would be insulated in the top of the float tank, with a floating ground to the salt water. This effect creates a giant capacitor that the entire skin area will quickly react to, without the person being consciously aware of the valuable mind altering messages they are receiving.
Dietary supplements, such as Colloidal Minerals & High Potency Vitamins with a full spread of Anti-oxidants, would be administered to all test subjects. The requirement for these supplements becomes very clear as we look at the higher rate of production of chemicals and hormones we will be offering to our testing volunteers. Their minds and bodies will have a far greater need for the basic building blocks than has ever been placed on them in the past. We would be raising the percentage of brain use from the 6%-15% known today into the 25%-40% range! Multi-layered audio & video educational material, with an acclimatized subliminal reinforcement, would be played for our testing subjects in a "FLOATATION TANK" environment. This is to help people overcome the fear of failure they’ve been taught, as well as to teach fundamental concepts, like the 64 laws of Phonetics used in English. Due to the electronic devices I'll be adding to the float tank (requirements for the Neurophone signals for one), the mastery of a foreign language in a matter of hours will become purely stereotypical. Students would not only know how to speak the new language perfectly, but would be able to think in that language as well!
Using a technique, developed by the founder of the Monroe Institute of Applied Sciences, we can bring both hemispheres of the brain into any synchronized operating frequency of our choice! The real beauty of this process is that it happens in seconds. Mr. Bob Monroe dubbed his discovery "Hemi-Sync." This extremely powerful technique is really simple to implement to our test subjects, once you know what frequency you want their brains to operate at. “Hemi-Sync.” requires Stereo headphones playing different frequencies for each ear. The difference between these frequencies forms a beat that the brain will conform to in short order! If we require the brain to operate at 516.3 Hz. for optimal healing or learning, then we need only produce a 516.3Hz subliminal beat with our stereo music. Does the extrovert learn at the same frequency as the introvert? I don’t think so! I believe the different personality traits learn at different speeds, but I have been wrong before… I thought I was wrong once, but I later found out that I was mistaken!

    The “Brain Wave” Frequency Chart
    0.05 - 4Hz. Delta or Deep Sleep
004 - 7Hz. Theta or Normal Dream Sleep
    008 - 12Hz. Alpha or Light Sleep
    013 - 30Hz. Beta or waking rhythm
030 - 100Hz. I need my coffee OR ELSE! Dancing to Rock Music?
    100 - 400Hz. Normal activity, usually around 250 Hz.
    400 - 800Hz. Psychic and healing abilities.
    800 - 900Hz. Channel other world information.
900Hz. and above are termed "Mystical Personalities" by
    Professor Valerie Hunt of UCLA.

    Subliminal Learning Background
Our World is well into a new era, the "Information Age"! With the arrival of this New Era, the U.S.’s Public School System has been a major disappointment to both employers and secondary schools all across our Nation. What the United States needs to salvage its standing as a world power has nothing to do with its military might! We will require a National Crusade of Scholarship second to none! We need to give our people a chance to acquire exceptionally outstanding reading and mathematics skills! This can be done, and quite easily, even though there are those who would try and put a stop to it! Knowledge is power! To maintain control over his people, Hitler had the books burned. Just think about that, and what it could mean in our own once Great Country! We've taken a fall, but we're not out of the running as of yet. We can still catch our balance and counter punch, but we can only do it as a nation! I could quote Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Kennedy, and Nixon, as well as countless others from throughout American history, but the words have no real meanings left in my home country! America is no longer the country I swore a life oath to defend! Either it has changed in a major way, or I have found out just how conditioned I was not to question anyone in authority! Especially here where we have the best legal system money can buy! I don’t care what you say the public school educational system in this country needs a major revision! And the last four I’ve seen are not doing it!
Just after the turn of the last century Dr. Maria Montessori turned the educational systems of the world on their collective ears with her 1912 release of "The Montessori Method". A book with one simple theme throughout its pages, teaching the students on "Real Life" activities! The most important device of this Information Age is a Personal Computer, with access into the World Wide Web, or Information Superhighway as it has been designated. If we were to comply with the predominant learning techniques, as laid down by Dr. Maria Montessori herself, then the unquestionable preference of teaching medium would have to be the Personal Computer. You know, save a tree use the web.
Also, quite a few other things become fairly obvious as we look at the concept of an "Information Superhighway". Just you try driving "Ten Miles an Hour" on the regular highway and see what happens. A ten mile per hour mind-set, as now taught within the U.S. public school system, will soon seem like an animal crossing a freeway at rush hour! We need to have a way of teaching people how to dart in and out of heavy traffic, like a high powered sports car, not a single speed bicycle with training wheels and a flat tire! How many no thought ditch digging do the same thing day after day workers are needed? We have 20 million people in U.S. prisons that were motivated by how they were taught!
Give me 5 years with half of them and we will reverse the effects of global warming!
We should develop a Learning method that takes full advantage of the many wondrous powers of both the conscious and the subconscious minds. True, to the uninformed this would be called "Brain-washing", but no more so than Television or peer pressure. Just look at the vast number of "Subliminal" audiotapes on the market. "Learning Strategies Corp." of Wayzata, Minnesota has taken the audio reformatting of the Subconscious several levels into the future with their "Paraliminal" Tapes. Mr. Paul Scheele, Founder of "Learning Strategies Corp." takes full advantage of the way our minds process verbal information and gives the analytical side of the brain a problem to solve through sounds in the left ear that go straight to the right side of the brain. At the same time, the left side of the brain, known as the creative side, receives a complementing story from the right ear. In effect, this is said to bring about a "Whole Mind" learning environment that is very receptive to the materials being taught! "Learning Strategies Corp." also has a very unique reading program that I'll be discussing in just a few paragraphs.
The idea of linking the two hemispheres together and relaxing the body for learning is not new. As a matter of fact, that’s the goal of many meditation techniques from religions across the globe, in the forms of prayers, chants, and mantras. Can you remember hearing a good brass band and not being greatly stimulated by the sounds, either one way or the other? Certain special kinds of music hold a key to joining the left & right brains into a data sponge mode, thousands of times more receptive than either side alone can ever be!
Unfortunately, because of both Noise Pollution and Acid Rock, most Americans that would benefit from this musical aid for learning are hard of hearing in those frequency ranges required to relax them into an optimal learning mode. Dr. David Lipscomb, of the University of Tennessee noise Lab, reported as long ago as 1982 that 60% of incoming college freshmen had significant hearing loss in the high-frequency range. The ear is designed to energize the brain and body, but you don't get the jolt of energy if you can't HEAR the high-frequency sounds. No wonder why you feel so beaten down all the time?
Dr. Alfred Tomatis, a member of the French Academy of Medicine and Academy of Science, developed a dynamic Rejuvenation Technique using sound itself to help restore hearing in these ranges. Dr. Tomatis patented a device called "The Electronic Ear" to help exercise the muscles of the ear to restore partial hearing loss. Which sound frequencies do you use to light up the mind? Sounds from 5,000 hertz to 8,000 hertz recharge your "Brain Batteries" most rapidly (Where did I see that 5,000 Hz before, oh yes, the write up on A-frame hydroponics). The fastest recharge comes from 8,000 hertz (hence my desire to mix it with our neurophone signals). After checking out the music of many composers, Dr. Tomatis found that the music richest in these high-frequency recharging sounds is Mozart's. At the same time he pinpointed frequencies that deplete mind and body: low frequency sounds, such as noise from traffic, airports, and construction sites. Some of the low pounding sounds in rock music are “Brain Drain” sounds, reports Dr. Tomatis!
Could it be that the difference between the classes is as simple as the music they listen to? One type makes followers, while another leaders? Does “Rich Dad” listen to Classical music, while “Poor Dad” listens to Rock & Roll? Talk about my invalidating someone’s entire existence! Well, at least now we know for a fact where our Rebels without a Clue come from! What a cultural paradigm shift this could trigger… but it won’t. Go figure! I wonder if a battery operated necklace giving off an 8 KHz pulse would enhance healing? Don’t go into mass production yet, there are at least 7 other frequencies required for total healing of the mind and body! We have another worthy idea for a world changing device that will generate income for building our Islands! Be sure to read the section on healing songs using the 8 KHz Brain Battery re-charge sounds from Dr. Tomatis original work.
Baroque music, with 45-70 beats per minute, has been proven to greatly increase the mind's ability to absorb information, that's why it's played in collage libraries, study halls, and offices (and, as everyone knows, elevators). In effect, Baroque music, combined with Yoga breathing, sets the mind into a semi-hypnotic state or a waking alpha/theta mindset, by relaxing both the body and the mind. This is like the subliminal tapes sold by several different self-improvement companies. My question is that if audio subliminals are so effective, why are there no video subliminals on the market today? I believe the reason is that they were made illegal to the movie industry when they used them to increase sales of sodas, popcorn, and hot dogs in the 1950's. They worked so well “Everyone” noticed!
The thought of letting someone or something hypnotize us seems scary at first. I mean, to give over that much control of ourselves just is not done every day, is it? Most people think of the stage magician's simple tricks of making someone act like a chicken, or that their seat becomes very hot at the mention of a single word. They fail to realize that they go into and out of the hypnotized or "Theta" state of mind twice a day. Once when they go to sleep, and again when they awake. Have you ever been dreaming, and known this is just a dream? Well, that is the same state of mind as the semi-hypnotic effect of Baroque music, just at a deeper level of consciousness! This is Highway Hypnosis at its very best!
My comments on the power of music set at 45-70 beats per minute comes from a teaching technique developed in Bulgaria, behind the fallen "Iron Curtain". In English this tremendously powerful teaching process is called "Superlearning". There are 2 books out on the process by the same name, "Superlearning" and "Superlearning 2000", by Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Ostrander with Nancy Ostrander. Some of this text is copied word for word from one or the other of these 2 books. I apologize for not remembering where the text is so as to put it in quotation marks. Please forgive me by buying a copy of one or the other of their books and finding out where I have broken the copy-write laws.
Superlearning combines relaxation techniques from certain music, Intonation rhythms, and Yoga breathing as well. A Bulgarian Psychiatrist, Dr. Georgi Lozanov, pioneered a method of relaxed learning used throughout the world for these last sixty years. He was looking for a way of giving the massive benefits of hypnosis, without the loss of control everyone fears. His is a “Holistic” approach only in that it brings the left brain, body, and right brain into the optimal learning mode. When the left brain, body, and right brain join into learning harmony, and no longer fight each other for control, tremendous leaps in learning are not only extremely possible, the impossible becomes totally common place!
It has been proven that the average human mind can flash read, and totally understand, at a speed of twenty pages a second, once they overcome the sub vocalization habit they were taught in school. That's just a little bit faster than most people can turn the pages in a book, but computers can be programmed for a wide range of display speeds, including speeds far above these. Reading at speeds this fast, not only does reading comprehension drastically increase from the sixth grade level found in most Americans today, reading retention approaches 100%. As you cross the 5,000 word per minute reading barrier, you begin to awaken the photographic memory everyone owns, but has never shown how to use. By the way, a low mean average for twenty pages in a paperback book is eight words per line, thirty-five lines per page, or 5,600 words. At 20 pages per second, that works out to a reading speed of 336,000 words per min. With reading speeds of only 10,000 words per minute, you could read the average pocket dictionary in less than an hour. If, in the same reading process, you relearn to use the photographic memory you were born with, you'll never forget what you read! Never misspell another word! Never again have to face the torment of not knowing what a word meant, or how to pronounce it correctly!
The claims of the last paragraph sound like science fiction, but in 1986 Paul Scheele, the Founder of "Learning Strategies Corp." Developed a dynamic reading process he called "Photoreading". His process combines meditation, a potent form of self-hypnosis, with the known powers of the subconscious mind! "Photoreading" is fully accredited by the Minnesota Department of Education, and is now being taught World Wide by its fast growing network of qualified graduates. Learning Strategies Corporation's advertisement of 1998 reads; "Paul R. Scheele will guide you through Photoreading at 25,000 words per minute in a new home study program". When I attended a Photoreading class in March of 1995, the instructor shared something with the class. It seems a computer programmer from Wisconsin setup a personal computer for display speeds of over 1 million words a minute. Those that took a part in the “Photoreading” experiment that followed enjoyed high levels of retention and comprehension on technical material they had never seen before! This is barely ¼ of what I want to do with a series computer programs, but as with everything else in life these days, what I want costs money I don’t have, yet!
Deep relaxation, with an induced alpha or theta mindset, is the goal of every fast or instantaneous teaching technique I've researched in the last twenty years! I submit a hypothesis: That deep relaxation provides a direct link to the subconscious mind. This theory explains why programmed instructions, (repeating each concept 4-10 times) used in some public school systems, are so effective. They use the repetition of the concept to breach the border between the conscious and subconscious mind. The truly pathetic part of this technique is that less than 40% of the students have the proper character traits not to become bored with that repetition! Even worse is the fact that students are not taught how to recall the information from the subconscious once it gets there! By looking once again to the Montessori Method, we should chose a relaxation method that anyone could use effectively, the FLOATATION TANK! "THE BOOK OF FLOATING" ISBN 0-688-04826-9, by Mr. Michael Hutchison, is the recommended industry source for more basic information on the subject. Floating does what others try and do, induces deep relaxation!
There are several theories as to why the Floatation Tank induces such total relaxation in the floater. The important thing is that it quickly creates the perfect learning mindset for a student, a waking theta state! Not only does a floater achieve an optimal learning mindset, but a superb side effect of the floating experience is that they are hypersensitive to stimuli! Within such an environment "Subliminal Learning" will become the most effective technique of the information age! How long will it take you to read, with perfect recall, every book ever written on your favorite subject using the ways you read now?
The fundamentals of Subliminal Learning are found within the works of the Russian Scientist, Ivan Pavlov. Prof. Pavlov identified the three distinct and progressive states of “TRANSMARGINAL INHIBITION”. The first is the EQUIVALENT phase, in which the brain gives the same response to both strong and weak stimuli. The second is the PARADOXICAL phase, in which the brain responds more actively to weak stimuli than to strong. The third is the ULTRA-PARADOXICAL phase, in which the conditioned responses and behavior patterns may be turned from positive to negative or from negative to positive. There is a great deal to be un-learned before you can Subliminal Learn!
With the progression through each phase, the degree of conversion becomes more effective and complete. The ways to achieve conversion are many and varied. The usual first step in Religious, Political, Military, (or cult) Brainwashing is to induce an altered state of mind through the emotions of the listeners. The speaker works on the emotions of an individual or group until they reach an abnormal level of anger, fear, excitement, or nervous tension. The progressive result of this mental condition is to impair judgment and increase suggestibility. The more this condition is maintained or intensified, the more it compounds. Once CATHARSIS, or the first brain phase, is reached, the complete mental takeover becomes much easier. Existing mental programming can be replaced with new patterns of thinking and behavior. Therefore the first “Axiom” of Subliminal Learning is that "Deep Relaxation is an altered state of mind for anyone functioning in an aggressive modern culture". We even teach our children to never let their guard down and relax!
Several Ethical battles are still waging, and as such the first and foremost rule of ethics for Subliminal Learning will be, "To include all sides of each moral argument without prejudice, and the ability for any student or guardian to disable the teaching of any moral argument they find offensive to their individual moral makeup". A brief history of the topic, along with a non-combative definition, will be substituted for general information.
Once I have secured the funding I will need for this project; I'll begin to combine the aspects of determining a person's basic personality, along with the information on their stronger and weaker character traits, with the fastest ways for these people to learn (See “Please Understand Me” I & II). This will be combined with multi-layered audio & video subliminal re-enforcement, both to convert the slower learning habit and to accelerate the full learning potential. The primary focus of the project will be on Savant mathematics, faster reading, and vocabulary. After the project has proven itself to be successful, it will be nearly effortless to adapt this computerized process to any specialized field.
Electronic Publishing lends itself to the Subliminal Learning environment with only slight alterations. In short, the process I'm referring to would give someone the ability to assimilate year’s worth of usable knowledge on the theory any subject, i.e. Aeronautical Electronic Engineering, in a few short weeks. It would also avoid the "Midlife Crises" running rabid throughout the U.S. culture by avoiding the trap of someone training for a position they don't have the basic character traits, or the vocabulary, to support!
Reading, Mathematics, and Vocabulary are all learned subjects! Granted they are learned differently by people with different basic personality and character traits, but we have the knowledge to overcome this variance in the ways people learn, and we as a nation are wasting that knowledge! In public school they are trying to make everyone learn the same way, and they can't figure out why it's not working. People are turning to drugs and alcohol to avoid the emptiness of their unfulfilled lives. Many are trying to escape the reality that they cannot conform to because they were never taught how! Parts of their basic character are screaming to be released and the working environment they find themselves in has no such use for the trait. Even worse is the person who is lacking a character trait they need for their work. It's not unlike the children who find themselves in a Phonetic schooling system with only a few years of Word Recognition training and no Phonetic training. I was one of these people for over 8 years! People with disabilities like this are where "The Peter Principal" and "Murphy's Law" comes from. Is it any wonder that the United States is rated among the most violent Nations on the face of the Earth?
Looking at the education system this way it’s very easy to understand why we have so many people in U.S. prisons (nearly 10% of the population, and climbing)! What about the 70%-90% of our collage students who can not get the high paying jobs they turned to advanced schooling for in the first place? How long before they become heavily involved in something that drives them over the edge? I’m not quite sure how, yet, but I will have challenging work for each and every one of you at a fair wage as soon as I can! It’ll have to start with housing, many necessary entertainments, and good foods, without the nearly constant fear of sudden violence. From there we’ll grow into firmly joined communities that take exceptional care of our own, while we save the world from these mini ice ages! You and your family will be given your choice of having a traditional education, or using our Subliminal Learning to the greatest advantages possible! You should probably know that I believe a traditional education makes you into a good follower trained not to think!
Now design a "SUBLIMINAL LEARNING FLORESCENCE" light based on 8 KHz that broadcasts a Neurophone subliminal signal of “Learn all you can while you may, for the more you learn today, the more you’ll EARN tomorrow!” for use in the U.S. Public Schools. I didn’t think you would… Parents would actually get their children back from the brainwashing of the one eyed brain sponge shows like “South Park”! I’m so looking forward to the requests for this type of electronic ballast for those doing home schooling. I’m sure that with something like this, many parents will demand that it be used! Many will get together and start a magnet School, just to regain some control of their family.

    8 KHz Healing Song Mantra’s
This section started out as a few lines in my Subliminal Learning article, and it just kept growing so much I felt it rated its own piece of writing. Before we go too far, I think you deserve to know about my mental health, or rather lack of it. I know from personal experience that there is no thin line dividing Genius from Insanity, just a daily moral code that if followed you can survive in polite society. I will never trust anyone with the power to hurt me, and doctors are high on that list. My search into Alternative Medicines began as a form of self-help. What I found over 30 years is that the mind has amazing powers to heal if, A) you believe in them, and B) you have someone who knows how to use them.
Let’s discuss The Power of Miracles everyone is born with, but few ever learn how to use, or how to control in their daily lives. I don’t care if you believe in a Divine Power or if you believe in the Super Conscious; your prayers have got to go to the Subconscious to be answered. God Answers All Prayers, and sometimes the answer is NO… My personal religious convictions are non-judgmental to the point where all I care about is if you have something to believe in! Most prayers arrive at the Subconscious through repetition of the prayer. From there BOTH the Divine Powers of the Multi-verse and the Super Conscious combine to bring about that Miracle you prayed for in the first place. A Deity has control of the on/off switch to your Super Conscious should you choose to believe that way.
Looking at The Power of Miracles this way is the only way I can explain the Placebo Effect. This is where sugar pills are given in a double blind drug test, and yet 10%-60% of the people given the sugar pills are healed just as well as those who were taking the drugs being tested in the first place. This holds exceptionally true if they are testing any kind of a pain medication. The test subjects have replaced the Divine with the doctor that gave them the pill. Interesting at first glance, but this is essential if we are to understand how some people use their power of miracles backwards to harm themselves and others.
I’m sure you even know one if you think about it, a “Worry Wart” as they were known not so long ago. The more they would worry about something, the faster it happened! Our fighting is giving me a headache! Before you can recognize it as a self fulfilling prophecy your headaches are getting worse and worse. After a few months of this the “headaches” are given the name of Stress Migraines from some specialist. In my world this specialist teaches you to reverse your self induced pain by reprogramming your triggers. In what is commonly known as the “Real World”, they give pills to block the pain, pills to relax the muscles, and pills to combat the root cause of the cramping. (Most cramps are caused by lactic acid buildup due to adrenalin in the bloodstream that is not used for fight, flight, or the delivery of a baby.) I am not saying that every Migraine Headache is self induced, but enough of them are to where we need to make a change in how we deal with our fears!
Does anyone know how they dealt with stress in the times of our grand parents? They took a warm bath in Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate), which was used as a therapeutic at the time. By the way, it works to relieve stress because it does relax the muscles. It works to remove cramps by allowing the body to purge lactic acid from muscle groups. Epsom salt even does wonders in balancing some electrolytes in the body and removing poisons or toxins. This is the reason why it’s used in a float tank, it works! The weekly bath takes on a whole new meaning! It had little to do with cleanliness and a lot to do with healing!
Attention-grabbing, but I’ve gotten off topic again, or have I. When did most of our stress related problems come to light as a culture… slightly after we were convinced to switch from bathing to taking showers? Add to this the stresses of “The Cold War” and it becomes easy to see how unaddressed fear is at the root of most of the Illness in the U.S. With that in mind, I’ll repeat; I wonder if a battery powered necklace that’s transmitting an 8 KHz pulse would enhance healing? Don’t go into mass production yet, as there are at least 7 other frequencies required for total healing of the mind and body! We have another worthy idea for a world changing device that will generate income for building our Islands! I’m sure people with AIDS will help in testing it, by someone writing a few dozen high frequency healing songs for “I-pods”. Make sure you get some help from that “New Age” buddy of yours. Ask them to look up the frequencies of the 7 energy centers of the body for you (the Chakras). Just combine your energy center frequencies using a combination of amplitude and frequency modulations. Now throw in a little well chosen random Hemi-Sync for good measure, and you’ll induce pure healing joy in the listener!
Other frequency combinations you will be wise to consider include those that trigger the emotions and reactions of orgasmic bliss, pride, hope, and excitement! The mantra can and should give the people the power to heal themselves, but I’m not writing it, you are! Here are 6 of the 7 Chakras; you’ll need to find the Crown Chakra information yourself.
    Chakra Keynote frequency color
    Base spine C 267.2 red
    Below navel D 291.1 orange
    Solar plexus E 329.1 yellow
    Heart F 349.2 green
    Throat G 392 blue
    3rd eye B 423 violet
Just for general information the heart Chakra is right before a duct-less gland known as the Thymus. Many believe this gland that shuts down and shrinks whenever adrenalin is pumped into the bloodstream (Stressed out!), controls the body’s ability to fight cancer. In Eastern Medicines & most of their Martial Arts, this area is known as The Cauldron of the Heart. This is where they draw “Chi” energies to, from breathing and other exercises, for their great inner strength and healing powers. Our western medical doctors are taught that this is a useless gland, just like the appendix. Oh, wait a minute, there is a job for the appendix after all, to reintroduce the required bacteria to the digestive track after an acute case of diarrhea or dysentery. How about those operations to remove children’s tonsils they just don’t seem to be performing any more? Could it be that those few case studies were wrong after all? How about those 3 or 4 cultures that don’t have any heart or stroke problems because of their diet of Garlic & Onions or Cayenne & Ginger? (That is, until they’ve eaten American foods with no trace vitamins or minerals for a few years!)
Speaking of trace vitamins and minerals, ever think this is the real reason there are so many over weight Americans? Malnutrition and most of the supplemental vitamins and minerals on the market are in a form the body will not or can not use (not colloidal)? Can you tell I have a major trust issue with the Teachers of the American Medical profession? This might be based on the misconception of the USDA daily requirements for vitamins and minerals being set up to keep you from getting scurvy, not on your staying healthy!
They do things like this in cycles to make money, like setting the base line for high cholesterol so low that the body had no choice but to rob it from the brain. Did you ever hear of dementia before the mid 1990’s? Every cell in the body needs cholesterol, and the brain is mostly made up of it. Your Veterinarians know this, but not your people doctors? Please spare me from the greedy who give poisons to the masses in the name of curing them. I cannot blame the doctors, for most of them actually believe they are still healers! When my daughter was born the doctors and Nurses took over twenty minutes to figure out what was so very different about her, for she was healthy! It had been that long sense they had seen a healthy baby. It was our Nurse that figured it out, and told us this later! Now if you don’t mind getting back to the subject at hand. Sorry about the side tracks.
Let’s recap what we have figured out so far; Mr. Bob Monroe’s Hemi-Sync, Brain Waves in the 400 Hz to 800 Hz range have Psychic and healing abilities, and according to Dr. Alfred Tomatis, sounds from 5 KHz to 8 KHz recharge our "Brain Batteries" most rapidly, and the fastest recharge comes from 8 KHz. I’d just love to see the report that pin points what each frequency in the Psychic and healing range did, wouldn’t you. When you write the words for your songs, I suggest you do it in the form of a prayer.

Hilarious comments about Robertson getting hit by God aside, I am glad to see that he's come to his senses. His identity as a conservative, even radical, evangelical demonstrates that global warming is not a partisan issue. He could be a great consensus builder, and could show his peers that strong faith and environmentalism are not mutually exclusive.
Any convert is a good convert, and as an environmentalist, I'll take any ally I can get – vegans, rifle-owners, atheists, evangelicals, and all.
