I can see that you feel threatened by me, and that you regard me with disdain. For some reason that saddens me. Perhaps it’s time for me to put the ‘Antagonist’ to rest. Nothing good seems to come from my presence here at ThinkProgress—for the readers or for myself.

One bit of advice for all liberals before I go—find a way to add humility to your character. It would make you much more approachable, and it would be far easier to recieve the things you have to say.

The source who asked to remain anonymous told FNA that despite all the limitations Hezbollah is faced with, it has a detailed and extensive organization.

He said more than 950 thousand individuals have enrolled in the list of the military troops, of whom Hezbollah has already managed to organize 100 thousand, adding that out of the said number only 40 people have so far been martyred in the fights during the last three weeks.

The source also reminded that a part of Hezbollah’s organized troops are those who have volunteered for martyrdom-seeking operations and are now ready to launch their missions deep in the enemy’s soil.

i am not a malicious person… i really mean no harm… but if you felt insulted by that comment, that is way beyond my control…
i did notice a degree of elevation to your posts, and found it encouraging… but “these are the times…” … and, once bitten twice shy, ya know?

Apparently my appology in #68 doesn’t count for much here at TP, as a few of you can’t seem to resist taking some more shots at me. I’m responding to you specifically, because you’re suggesting that this site is some sort of great bastion of intellect that should be revered. AND the only reason for coming here is to be taught.

I disagree, and I think your comment is arrogant. I come here because I often disagree with the collective ‘wisdom’ here, and because I wish to defend the principles and institutions that I love.

Oh I have learned some things here alright. I’ve learned that attempting to appeal to a liberals’ sense of honesty and fairness is like trying to get blood out of a rock. I’ve learned that liberals will show tolerance for anything except conservatives. I’ve learned that liberals think that they are smarter than everyone else, and I’ve learned that many of you believe the ends justify the means. (as long as Bush got slammed, who cares if it was at a funeral)

However, I have learned some positive things here, and as a result I’ve changed my stance on a few subjects. For the most part, my presence here represents an ideology that many of you liberals detest with every fiber of your beings. Many here even refuse to accept my individuality and my own statements about myself—choosing rather to cling to a stereotype or a caricature of who I am and what I beleive. Where’s the honesty and the fairness in that? Granted, I have acted poorly at times, and have deserved the reprisals against me, but I’ve mellowed considerably and such treatment is undeserved.

I have a hunch that you don’t respond well to being lectured, well neither do I. If you guys practiced the tolerance that you’re so famous for, I think you would get more favorable responses from most of the trolls.

I don’t mean to aim all of this at you katy, and I have no intentions of picking a fight with you, I just want you to know that I felt insulted by one of your comments.

Not to kick a man when he is down, but I think there should be no room to wiggle in this argument. From the EPA’s own website:
