“We are now in a process of renewed escalation,”
a senior Israeli General Staff officer tells Haaretz. Signaling an apparent policy shift, he said, “We will continue hitting everything that moves in Hizbollah — but we will also hit strategic civilian infrastructure.”

a march on washington would be great. however, martial law would be instituted before the march was too close, and many people would be killed or imprisoned. since most americans haven’t the energy to *not* go through the drive-thru at mcdonalds, i sincerly doubt that we could get that many people to risk their lives and storm d.c. effectively… perhaps when 50-60,000 troops are suddenly dead in iraq, or, 100,000 americans are killed on american soil, something might change…
these animal in the white house, conjoined at the hip with the pro-zionists throughout every aspect of american life, are a combination that can only spell disaster for the middle east and beyond. it is their nature to kill, invade, occupy, displace, bomb, and burn ‘everyone else’…

I am pro-Israel. That’s why I criticize Israel’s violence in Palestine and Lebanon every chance I get.
I don’t say much about the immorality of Israeli actions. They are shockingly immoral. But talking about it won’t make much difference. So I appeal to naked self-interest. I point out the obvious: Every time a Palestinian or Lebanese is hit by an Israeli bomb or bullet, it spells more risk for the safety of Israel.

All that praying and out cry because of Mel’s bad word well Jewish people are showing the world that they aren’t so holy as they use to be. I guess Satan has taken over even God’s chosen people. As Jesus said it is finished. Jewish people are cold hearted murders with no regard for human life or the innocent victims. I thought that was the way Al Qeada and other terrorist groups think, Israel proved me wrong. Dose the Middle East look at Israel as terrorist while the US joins in. Recall please that last week Bush told the world that the US would re-build Lebanon.
Lets see, that’s Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon so far that we have to rebuild. In two more years you can add Syria and Iran to the mix. Maybe soon Bush and the neo-cons will have the Middle East built the way they want it, absent of course the hearts and minds.

NEW YORK — Last week, Doron Rosenblum, a columnist for what I consider Israel’s finest newspaper, Ha’aretz, delivered a zinger I doubt anyone would dare print in North America, where most Mideast news is heavily slanted.
The real cause of the latest Lebanon war, wrote Rosenblum, was not the seizure of two Israeli soldiers by Hezbollah, but an earlier, boastful TV speech by Hezbollah’s leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, that provoked Israel’s leaders.
Nasrallah taunted Israel’s new triumvirate of PM Ehud Olmert, Defence Minister Amir Peretz, and Chief of Staff Dan Halutz, sneering they were “small” compared to Ariel Sharon. “Adding fuel to the fire,” said Rosenblum, Nasrallah “emphasized the ’small’ with his fingers.”
According to Rosenblum, “bad-tempered” Olmert, Peretz, and “arrogant Halutz” flew into rages at this grave insult to their manhood, and sought to prove they could out-Sharon Sharon by turning a minor skirmish into an all-out war.
Sounds bizarre, but remember, George Bush Sr. invaded Panama after Manuel Noriega called him as a “wimp.” Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait after its crown prince suggested Iraq’s war widows be sent to Kuwaiti harems. Adolescent behaviour springs eternal.

The US has lost in Afghanistan and Iraq. Emperor George and his puppet states just can’t seem to get their act together to win at anything. But, as has been pointed out many times before, winning, in the traditional sense, is not what they want.
Chaos. Now there’s something Emperor Bush wants and has succeeded in accomplishing.
It will take decades, if ever, to recover from the war crimes of the Bush Cabal.

I understand that they have been distracted by all of their real motives, but they really should mention them, sometime soon. It would help them look ‘legit’, and they need all the help they can get.

Why would Isreal think Hezbollah would fold in a month when they lasted 18 years before. They are the rock stars of the Muslim world. By destroying Lebanon Isreal has made itself less safe and our brave men and women in Iraq.

Syria or Iran wouldn’t even think about trying to help Hezbollah directly with either of their militaries…unless they want to get THEIR butts kicked by Israel.
