[...] I’ve said it before, but Joe Lieberman is running the worst campaign in the history of modern Democratic politics. After his loss to Ned Lamont in the Democratic primary, Lieberman announced he would continue his run for the senate as an independent on the Connecticut for Lieberman ticket. His announcement during his faux concession speech, greeted by jeers and a collective hitting of heads to walls around America, came as no surprise as Joe’s solipsism has been a hallmark attribute of his campaign’s ineptitude. With his announcement came the expected flocking of support from Republicans for Lieberman’s independent candidacy - including the NRSC’s decision to back Lieberman over Republican nominee Alan Gold Schlesinger. Joe’s to the right of many Republicans on foreign policy and militarism and with Democratic support for his campaign plummeting in Connecticut, he will need the support of Republicans to have a chance at victory as a fourth-party candidate. [...]

Frightening. He's using Iraq and Iran interchangeably. Leiberman's loss had nothing to do with public discourse on Iran... or did I miss something?

When did "the Iranians" declare jihad against America?

"Just how does George Soros make his money? Years of investigation by LaRouche’s associates have answered that question in grisly detail ... "

LaRouche is a well-known anti-semite with Nazi sympathies. .

[...] At the end of the day Dick Cheney and conservatism are terror’s best friend. After several incidents in Britain, the Bali and Madrid bombings it is pretty clear that invading occupation forces don’t stop isolated groups of extremists.
God help us! Republicans prop themselves up to be perfect examples of mental illness. Deja Vu, I already heard this from the uneducated: "if you don't vote for my party you will make the world come to an end"

Bill should try reading a book or turing on PBS so he can join the college educated people. I think Bill doesn't know the first thing about how tax payers where targeted on 9/11, or why that was. Maybe he could look at the decades of 3 billion dollar grants to Israel's military, or maybe he could look at the numbers dead on each of the Israel vs.... This guy and Republicans piss me off so much because they have no idea how completely stupid they are, if you'd watch the news or picked up a newspaper 5 days out of the year you could be smarter than them, my point is they don't even know what's going on in reality! But they are arrogant, yet so clueless about how wrong they are and out of touch they are. Arrogance and Ignorance is a bad combination.

Don't give Lamont and the anti-war liberals too much credit. Lamont and the other anti-war folks do not see that Iran is the "change of course" at all. They want the troops home period. O'Reilly is right; their issue is solely going to be getting out of Iraq, regardless of the current situation.

And, while we're at it, let's see...the young men and women who <strong>choose</strong> to join the Armed Forces in today's society know what they are getting into. That does not in any way make their life less valuable, nor does it make the loss of life more acceptable. But, they have made a choice, and I would venture to say that the majority of them are proud to serve their country and help protect the freedoms of those of us who wake up every day and run off at the mouth.

But, they are not being sent off to slaughter - as so many of the anti-Bush, anti-war folks want us to believe.

Finally, the Israel-Lebanon war has <strong>nothing</strong> to do with 9/11. People who need to remember 9/11 should <strong>not</strong> read about that or watch it on television. That is completely irrelevant.

But, they are not being sent off to slaughter – as so many of the anti-Bush, anti-war folks want us to believe.

Finally, the Israel-Lebanon war has nothing to do with 9/11. People who need to remember 9/11 should not read about that or watch it on television. That is completely irrelevant.

I just cannot comprehend how the man (O'Rielly) can get up every morning, and look at himself in the mirror . I know I couldn't if I were him.

<em>Changing course in Iraq means taking the threat from Iran more seriously, not less.</em>

Really? We all know how TP Judd likes to appeal to popularity. Let's take a look at the Terrorism Index - a poll of "national security experts" - that TP uses to claim we are loosiing the WOT.

http://www.americanprogress.org/site/pp.asp?c=biJRJ8OVF&b=1763037

Zero liberals think that Iran is a threat to the US? Only 4% of the responders (who happen to call themselves conservative) think Iran is a threat.

Where's your appeal to popularity logic now?

#63 -- If you mean white, purported-"Christian" bigots like yourself, then you're statement is correct. To keep the names straight for everyone, you've now posted as Chris, Reddog, Moonbat Patrol, I Hate Liberals, and now Return of Reddog. Just so everyone here knows the neo-nazi they're dealing with.

Kraz - A unity government actually depends on thwarting the threat of the Iranian Shia joining the Iraqi Shiites - i know YOU understand the implications of that. But if progs want to really get out from under the clutches of the Middle East and OIL companies - start looking into "breeder reactors" - although jet fuel would most likely need to continue to have the properties of fossil fules...for a while...
