Today on Fox News Sunday, Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE) said that Iraq is in a “very defined civil war” and that the Middle East is “the most unstable we’ve seen since 1948.” He also reiterated that the United States needs to begin withdrawing troops within the next six months because staying the course just continues to “kill Americans and put Americans in the middle of a civil war that we have less and less control and influence over every day.”
Watch it:
Full transcript below:
HAGEL: We have a very unstable Middle East, the most unstable we’ve seen since 1948. You can measure that any way you want. The fact is the future of Iraq will be determined by the Iraqi people, just like it was in Vietnam. The answer in my opinion is not to just keep feeding more American troops into it. The Iraqi people have already made some decisions here. We, in fact, are in probably a low-grade — maybe a very defined — civil war. You’ve got corruption. Everywhere. As bad as it’s ever been. You’ve got uncontrollables that we can’t control. We can’t deal with. Iran probably has more influence in Iraq than we do at this point.
[snip]
WALLACE: You have said that you think we should begin pulling troops out within six months.
HAGEL: I do.
WALLACE: How is that going to make things better?
HAGEL: How is it going to make things better for us to continue to kill Americans and put Americans in the middle of a civil war that we have less and less control and influence over every day? How does that stabilize things? This is going to play out, Chris, on its own. I’m not saying pull out of Iraq. That’s not what I’ve said. I’ve said start withdrawing troops. We have to show the Iraqi people — and this obviously cuts right to the great anti-Americanism by any poll, by any measurements there — that we are not there to predetermine their outcome. We’re not there to control or to govern. They are going to have to do that. Now, the fact is, bottom line, Chris, there are very few options here. We don’t have any good options. We got a mess on our hands in the Middle East.
Good morning dixie blood. Get your list ready :) The trolls will have a field day with this one.
How is it that Chuck Hagel, a Republican, has little influence on the asshats like cat killer Frist, Ricky Rooster and balless Specter?
August 20th, 2006 at 10:14 amI hate those uncontrollables you can't control. Oh the humanity!
August 20th, 2006 at 10:14 amWarning to trolls - if you want your comments to be taken seriously, you must explain your feelings about having your child or spouse return in a coffin draped in a flag. After all, your godless president said that the sacrifice is worth. So unless you give up your offspring to this frat boy president, your comments have no value and will be dismissed.
MA - still waiting to hear how you would feel if one of your little aprodites came home in a coffin draped in a flag.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:18 amCan we leave Iraq now? Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld get no freedom on the march, no democracy, no oil, and no peace in the Middle East. Iraq is Bush's failure and now that the GOP is saying it's a civil war--our military presence only inflames the fighting and makes our trrops targets. GOP = great at winning election; poor on policy and governing. McCain's on Meet the Press this morning trying to simultaniously hug Bush while keeping his distance from the abject failure of the neocon policies in Iraq.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:19 amWonder what Bush has on McCain. He's beginning to look like a Lieberman.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:23 amAmazing, a republican who consistently tells the truth, are there any others?
August 20th, 2006 at 10:27 amRead that there is now a back door draft. Can't say that I'm surprised that there is a civil happening in Iraq. What took so long for Hagel to make this statement?
Turkey and Iran are bombing the Kurds in Iraq because the Kurds in Turkey and Iran are considered "terrorists" and the Iraqi Kurds are inciting the Kurds in neighboring countries.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:28 am#6 - hummm... Lieberman? oops, he's an "Independent" republican :)
August 20th, 2006 at 10:29 amI love the killer's weasel words, it's not enough just to say "CIVIL WAR", no you have to try to weasel out of it by attaching "avery defined" civil war. Like there's a difference. The giant republoanus PR machine has to somehow "tone down" the words "CIVIL WAR". So it's a civil war and Bushie, et all said we get out in the case of civil war. Yeah like he'll keep that promise like he's kept all his others.
OBTW, Jerry the troll last PM on TP was vehemently arguing Iraq was NOT a civil war, guess you need to go argue with Der Hegelmeister and the repulofascist PR people, not us.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:30 ambones - good observation.

August 20th, 2006 at 10:32 amGood Morning all, have heard Olympia Snow is pretty good but can't give my own opinion on her cause she's not in my state.......I have been wondering for a long time what has happened to the old time conservatives, thought they were all dead. Maybe the few that are left, if any, will take their party back. We can only hope.........Much work to do with our own as well........Blessings..Peace
August 20th, 2006 at 10:35 amThe trolls will be in a meeting for the next few hours, to receive emergency training in the new talking points just issued by Karl Rove's office.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:42 amI wonder if one of Bush's advisors finall looked up the definition of civil war on the "internets" and decided they looked stupid arguing against the definition of the words.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:43 amIn addition to being a civil war, Iraq is chaos and Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld are the face of that failure. Our soldiers are dying there every day and all GOP supporters have is "stay the course." If Iraq is ground zero for Bush's war on terror--I would assess that we are losing. How many more US soldiers need to die in Iraq so Cheney can find out what all his oil is doing under all that Middle East sand?
August 20th, 2006 at 10:48 amOf course if Murtha or any other Democrat said the same thing, they would be a cut-and-run appeaser. Frenchie, to boot.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:49 amdead soldiers for a lost cause - what a legacy for Bush&Co
August 20th, 2006 at 10:51 amGood morning Sharon - John Dean's book, Conservatives without Conscious, gives a good explanation as to what has happened to the old time conservatives.
km4 - Thanks for posting Joe Sestak's response. We here in PA, are working hard to take the country in a new direction. The Bush Republicans have taken the country in the WRONG direction.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:54 am#13 RealScientist - thanks for the heads up.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:55 amMcCain is looking like a veal calf. Rove must have him held POW or something. Sad, when he campaigned in NH back in before 2000 he put on a pretty good show. However, that was just a bi-partisan schtick to get votes and suck up to the media.
Hagel should quit the Bush/Coulter Repulican Party.

August 20th, 2006 at 10:55 amLove this guy, Murtha... he's a hero in a time when we all need a hero.

Someone please make up their minds...Is it a civil war, sectarian violence, freedom operation, Al qaeda, insurgents, nation building operation, or is it a twisted capitalist pig think-tank fantasy gone awry?
August 20th, 2006 at 11:13 amIs this some kinda Specterism?
August 20th, 2006 at 11:16 amChucky boy is positioning himself to run for president.
August 20th, 2006 at 11:20 amDon't be fooled. He votes Republican.
“When a Marine in Fallujah barely escapes an RPG attack, or an IED explodes near a soldier’s Humvee, the blast can cause the troop’s brain to slam against in the inside of his skull. The result is Traumatic Brain Injury, or TBI, which can cause dizziness, problems with vision, hearing, or speech, memory loss, and even severe brain damage. At least 100,000 troops serving in Iraq or Afghanistan have been affected by TBI.
So, how does Congress respond? By cutting in half the funding for the research and treatment center for TBI. …
I would challenge any troll out there to address this issue....
August 20th, 2006 at 11:24 amBravo, Trinary Sulka! (#25)!!!!!
August 20th, 2006 at 11:30 amIt seems to me that the GOP is the party that's divided over the war in Iraq. On one hand you have Chuck Hagel, John McCain and other modertaes calling the war a failure and orging the Bush administration to either pull out or overhaul its strategy. On the other, there's GWBush, Orrin Hatch, Dick Cheney and other right-wingers that are calling anyone who questions the war "Al Qaida types" and wants to stick it out in Iraq for decades to come. Very divided. The only real dissenting voice that the Dems have is Joe "GOP" Lieberman.

Nice of Chuck to join reality. It's been a civil war for a while now. At least he joined, though. I think the three Stooges (Bush, Cheney and Dumsfeld) are life long hold outs.
August 20th, 2006 at 11:40 amFrank Rich is back from vacation and with a vengeance in "After 9/11, Fear Finally Strikes Out."
I'm actually liking this guy more than Mo Do.
August 20th, 2006 at 11:50 amOff topic:
What the Lamont campaign needs to do is to point out the following:
"When your chief backer is the Republican spin machine - you are no Democrat Joe."
Back on topic again:
Hagel is purely paying lip service to his chances of staying in. He knows deep down that the Republicans are in a fight for their own survival here, because deep down he knows that when you have all three houses, blaming the opposition isn't exactly going to go very far with anybody who has anything resembling a working brain.
August 20th, 2006 at 11:56 amblaming the opposition isn’t exactly going to go very far with anybody who has anything resembling a working brain.
Comment by Bruce Gorton — August 20, 2006 @ 11:56 am
Even here in the Bible Belt, that seems to be more and more the case. That even the conservatives have had enough of the neocons ruining their party and sending their children to die in a war that has nothing to do with 9/11.
August 20th, 2006 at 12:03 pmThe cold hard truth about this country for most people is too harrowing to face. That's why they turn to the soothing lies of FOX NEWS which just takes their anger and focuses it on immigrants, foreigners, gays, the poor, democrats, you name it. These people outnumber us and I'm worried about these midterm elections. A lot of people are thinking it's a done deal, well, it isn't. I see and read about a lot of people who are so sure that the Dems will take the House and close the gap in the Senate but I don't see enough people out there on the streets protesting or campaigning or getting the message out to those who don't have the internet(s). The mood for change is ripe but it won't come easy. I mean, if we really want to win and get these troops home, kick the Republicans out and take back our country then every single person who wants change has to get up and get out and volunteer/work for the candidate they support or protest or join grassroots organizations or get active in some way beyond fighting with trolls (cause they are beyond reach and are only trying to distract and divide us). So just like when many of us tell trolls to "sign up for the war if they support it" we too have to take our own advice and get out and fight. Some people are out there doing a great job but they do need more help.
August 20th, 2006 at 12:04 pm#33 - thanks for the link. Very interesting commentary.
August 20th, 2006 at 12:07 pmThank's for the Murtha link, Coffins draped with flags.....Have been planning on buying the Dean book..Still havent got far on Noam Chomsky's, Failed States....Been a busy net runner and tree hugger for month's. My book reading is usualy in mass during the cold month's..
Every time I see your post's it reminds me of all the email letters I sent out 2 years ago to all the senators......My major emphases line was "I want all our troops home now and not in flag draped coffins. Sad thing I didn't get one response..Sent to all..left right and center. That told me they were all brain dead and on the busco train wreck then....
Wonder if we could draft Murtha for president and Feingold for V.P. or Gore and Murtha....
Blessings all and have a good day.....
August 20th, 2006 at 12:07 pmChuck Hagel and John McCain only say what Karl Rove tells them to say. There is no "independent" voice from the GOP--a guy like Hagel say this shit as a "test" by Rove to see what the reaction will be. If you want any money or support from the GOP, you must haul the GOP's water--in this case it means supporting the failed Bush Iraq policy. McCain has simply sold his soul to the neocon bloodbath for his change at sitting in the "big chair" in Washington.
August 20th, 2006 at 12:08 pmSharon,
Keep the hope... It takes time to turn a battleship. But it does seem to be turning in our favor. Your efforts are paying off. Maybe not as quickly as we'd all like, but we can't let that stop us from pushing forward!
August 20th, 2006 at 12:11 pmWonder if the video of Lucas and Turdblossom will be available over the internet. Now I'll go poke my eyes out so I won't be able to see that... yuk.
August 20th, 2006 at 12:20 pmAs is so often the case, the devil is in the details. Hagel believes that "...the U.S. should BEGIN pulling troops out within six months." This declaration by Hagel is hardly a cause for celebration. When will a senator, either Democrat or Republican, state that ALL the troops should be withdrawn from Iraq within six months, if not sooner? The longer the withdrawal process takes, the more Americans and Iraqis become needlessly killed and grievously wounded and maimed and crippled, all in the name of some ambiguous and worthless noble cause.
August 20th, 2006 at 12:40 pmGood Morning Unbelievable, haven't seen you post much lately....Ooooop's part of the time I wasen't here either......
Did a little picketing in Everett, WA. with a lot of war protesters a few weeks ago...Across the street from us were waramongers.....A lot like a mini war zone....My moving bill board (old pick up) was what I expected with one scary exception. No big deal....One great response yesterday and a new convert to standing up and making your voice heard. Young hispanic man about 40 came running up to me," love all your bumper stickers, where did you get them, I'm going to do that." So there are small changes but very slow indeed..
Sorry off topic, upside down flag since the week before July 4th untill this morning...8 people have known what it means and have commented or asked if I needed help.....Close to 300 have walked right by not appearing to notice and no comment. ....Very sad indeed......
Blessings...Peace....
August 20th, 2006 at 12:43 pmSharon,
I've been busy with starting the program at my new school. I love it. Lots of work though.
Glad to hear the protests are going well. Hang in there. You're doing the right thing!
I think it's important to be vocal and speak out. Probably why so many of us are here. Hoping that someone on the fence might finally get it like your new friend.
Keep up the good work!
August 20th, 2006 at 12:49 pmGood morning, Sharon and all,
You're a great American, Sharon, keep up the good work. A couple of guys have noticed my upside down flag sticker on my car window. they just stare at me and say, "You know your flag is upside down?" (Just in case I'm as dumb as I look, I guess.) I say, "Yep." They stare a couple more seconds and walk away. Ok, fine...
August 20th, 2006 at 12:52 pmHow did my comment get posted (19) when I received the http error - AGAIN?!
August 20th, 2006 at 12:54 pmI have nearly given up trying to post but every day I try to send one short message.
OMG - has TP fixed the spam filter?
August 20th, 2006 at 12:55 pmBaghdad pilgrims massacred
Gunmen attacked pilgrims at a Shiite religious gathering in Baghdad today, killing 20 and wounding more than 300 others, police and Iraqi health ministry officials said. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims had crowded into six city neighborhoods when gunmen at street level and snipers in surrounding buildings opened fire, witnesses said.

August 20th, 2006 at 12:57 pmSharon - Hung the flag upside down from my balcony for everyone to see on November 3, 2004, the day frat boy claimed he had earned political capital.
And you can call me "coffins". Glad that you recognized the purpose of my name. Just want to keep this illegal invasion in the forefront. And blessings to you.
Good afternoon Zooey - it's afternoon now on the East Coast. Guess I should be going out to enjoy the day. Cheers!
August 20th, 2006 at 1:00 pmI say, “Yep.†They stare a couple more seconds and walk away. Ok, fine…
Comment by Zooey — August 20, 2006 @ 12:52 pm
So now I know exactly what kind of response I'd get if I did the same here... No vandalism because it's the flag. Well, only until they start to equate an upside down flag with an upside down cross...
August 20th, 2006 at 1:00 pmMorning all, so finally reality hits... their next move? Blame it all on the democrats. Get ready...
August 20th, 2006 at 1:02 pmMy neighbor has hung the flag upside down for a year now - no comments from anyone - not even the association watchdogs.
August 20th, 2006 at 1:43 pmHERE IS WHAT WE DO TO END THE 'CIVIL WAR' IN IRAQ:
August 20th, 2006 at 2:01 pmTHE UNITED NATIONS GO INTO IRAQ AND REMOVE ALL WOMEN-CHILDREN SENIORS-NON COMBANTANTS,WITH THE PROMISE THAT THE 'WAR' WILL END.HOUSE THESE FOLKS IN A TENT CITY,OUT OF HARMS WAY.
COMPLETLY DESTROY BAGDAD,AS IT IS A NIGHTMARE OF 'INSURGENT' FACTIONS,WHICH WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HIDE IN CROWDS ANYMORE.ONLY ALLOW NEW-SMALL CITIES TO BE BUILT,SCATTERED ABOUT FOR SAFETY.
THEN, TAKE ALL FIGHTING AGE MEN(NOT TEENS) WHO WANT TO BE 'SHIA' AND ALL WHO WANT TO BE 'SUNI' TO A SPECIFIED PLACE IN A REMOTE AREA OF IRAQ AND GIVE THEM WEAPONS. NOW,BOTH SIDES ARE ALLOWED TO 'FIGHT TO THE DEATH,WITH HAND TO HAND,GUNS BLAZING,UNTIL ONE SIDE WINS. THEN THE WINNING SIDE IS ALLOWED TO TAKE OVER IRAQ,AND THE NON-VIOLENT FOLKS CAN MOVE BACK INTO IRAQ,MINUS THE LOSING SIDE CIVILIANS,WHOM WOULD BE MOVED TO ANOTHER COUNTRY OR COUNTRIES.
THIS WAY, IRAN COULD ACCEPT THE LOSING 'SHIA'S' AND WHOM EVER WOULD ACCEPT THE 'SUNNIES',WIN OR LOSE,AS WHICH-EVER FACTION WINS.
ALL FOREIGN TROOPS 'GO HOME' AND PROBLEM SOLVED,WITH IRAQ UNDER ONE BRUTAL,BUT DOMINATING 'RELIGIOUS-STATE' ORDER.
THE KURDS WILL HAVE THEIR OWN SEPARATE STATE,AND BUSNESS AS USUAL WILL BEGIN.
THE WINNING FACTION WOULD SELL THEIR OIL TO ANY AND ALL... TO PAY FOR THE CARNAGE OF THE PAST AND GIVE THE LOSING SIDE MONIES TO LIVE ELSEWHERE.
ALL FOREIGN TROOPS WOULD LEAVE IRAQ IMMEDIATLY,INCLUDING ALL FORIEGN FIGHTERS.
Dawk, is your post supposed to be sarcastic and loud?
August 20th, 2006 at 2:16 pmDawk,
August 20th, 2006 at 2:33 pmWouldn't it be simpler to put the entire country under a tent and fumigate? To get by the Geneva Conventions, W can claim he is eradicating scorpions and sand fleas, the people are collateral damage.
I have a better plan with much less coloteral damage......Gas up air force one, 2 and all troop transports...... Load bush/cheney/rummy/rice and as many of the inabelers as will fit in these planes, fly to Iraq and leave their bloated butts in Baghdad.....They started this night mare, make them personaly finish it. Load up all our troops and bring them home on the return trip........No politicians allowed a return trip untill they stop this madness or disappear....Either one would suite me at this point......Blessings
August 20th, 2006 at 3:22 pmSharon - what a sight!
August 20th, 2006 at 3:46 pmI would PAY to see Bush&Co airlifted into Iraq!
And our guys would all have to come home - they can't stay there to offer protection.
Sharon - love your idea. It's brilliant! It's easy for Bush&Co to say "stay the course" when they are sounded by protection and sit in air conditioned offices. It would be a different story if the frat boy coward had to REALLY go to war instead of thinking that our military are his toy solders and will his fighting for him.
So what do you think? Will the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz/Perle/Kristol group be tried for war crimes and for invading a sovereign nation after the Democrats take control? Sure would love to see that happen.
August 20th, 2006 at 4:05 pmMeant to say "surrounded" and not sounded. These darn fingers don't always type what I'm thinking.
August 20th, 2006 at 4:06 pmThese darn fingers don’t always type what I’m thinking.
Comment by Coffins draped with flags
I only type about 10% of what I'm thinking, otherwise my computer would burst into flames.
August 20th, 2006 at 4:36 pmMarie and Coffins, no military grunt's on the ground to back them up. A few upper class military should be left with them the lieing backer one's and the one's that taught and trained our kid's badly have to stay as well......The entire bunch of happy crappers would have to stay there and fix it or vanish, which ever came first...Either work's for me, like I said before....I'm for birth control and retroactive would be a good start.
Coffins, I'm doing all I can and it's not enough...First we need to put dynamite sticks up the butt's of our own party.....If they are rep lite, boot them out..
To date most of our own have been silent. To the point the silence is defening. I think they believe they can ride the breeze of discontent and still stay in office or get relected....Thing is a huge block of the public is so fed up with this entire mess they won't go out and vote for our's cause they aren't talking.....Each time the republican asse's spout their crap it's on the new's and the dem's don't refute the crap......
John q public is tired from work, taxes just getting by day to day. They come home have a beer, listen to shit face on the new's, have dinner, go to bed and back up and out the next day like the last.......If they are not inspired to get out and vote they won't......The new's is predominately reich wing spin crap, we know that and when we are here we are exchanging threads and information to our own choir and a few paid trolls and roaches........We have to shake up, right now, our own party and tell them we are sick of the silence. We are the Employers, they are our employees and it time they did their job's or we are going to fire them........I've worked for the Dem's freely for 45 years..No more, they work for me and my country or get the hell out of office...........Blessings All...Peace
So there you have it, do what I have been doing, send them e-mails, write letters to your editors, e-mail all the diffrent new's casters, picket and march when you can and if you choose....They had better hurry up and start showing up or they will not get my votes either......My final plan , if they don't get in gear I'm going to write all over my ballott in November they are not suitable to serve............Blessings all.....
August 20th, 2006 at 4:52 pmHagel " ... is not saying pull out of Iraq"? He just wants to start phasing out our troops there, which in turn would mean putting those left in Iraq in even more danger than they are now since we never sent in enough tropps to get whatever this nutcase in the White House wanted to accomplish. The we'd have to send in more troops to replace the ones we sent home! Hagel's plan would only make the situation worse. The only thing to do is leave Iraq to its civil war and pull all our troops out and now. These Iraqis want to either work together for a viable and safe country or kill each other. Since they're bent on killing each other, we should have no more to do with it. The civil war is their problem. We've lost too many Americans already to Bush's fantasy about building a democratic Iraq. It's not worth one more American life.
August 20th, 2006 at 5:09 pm
August 20th, 2006 at 6:41 pmthe dems have been very quiet on the iraq issue....it is time they get some juevos and make some noise "this is our last and best chance" this war in iraq; bush's war is a nightmare...the rethug will pull an october surprise and we'll be left out in the cold...more wars, more death, less liberty and there goes our democracy!
we need to call our elected official's and scream bloody murder!
call and call some more!
i have done my part... as many other have....and will continue to do so....
they work for us...remind them of that!
#24...The last line says it all. "I don't think we're accomplishing anything there, and I hate to see these young men sacrificed for people who don't even want us there,"
August 20th, 2006 at 7:02 pmSharon, "Did a little picketing in Everett, WA". Were you in front of the Bank of America? I wish I knew you were there, I would have said something...I walk by almost everyday at lunch, I am in the new county building. Tell me when and I will stop by.

August 20th, 2006 at 7:16 pm#54,
Thanks for the headache.
Oh,and,get real.
August 20th, 2006 at 7:27 pmI wonder what our Neurenburg quality Bushler & co. will do for their next act. Iran anyone?? How do they sleep nites, especially wonder about those that voted this messianic idiot buffoon a second term? We did have a good look see the first four stolen years didn't we? Or is there a brain dead epidemic in America? We'll know for certaini n November. if there is a continuing brain dead epidemic in America.
August 20th, 2006 at 10:51 pmI can just hear president Cheney now. Leave Iraq! But what about all of that oil?
Listen, this nefarious administration isn't planning on leaving Iraq for quite some time. There's gold in them there hills. Black gold! Texas tea!
We'll be in Iraq for years! Bank on it.
August 21st, 2006 at 12:25 amLeft Coast Mike, will let you know the next time I am going to hitch a ride and go into Everett to picket....Incase I don't get enough notice to drop a note here look for a short, white haired old lady with a purple Moon Flower Magic t-shirt and jeans. Will wear those gift's to all my pickett rallys...It was real, much diffrent than the couple big ones years ago during the viet nam protest's in California....
I don't do Everett in my old truck, just Marysville, Monroe, Lake Stevens and so far nothing going on in those areas....by that I mean I don't drive into Everett. The truck, clutch and I hate cities and little hills....Makes me swear a lot and the people are all crazy....
Write all representatives and tell them they had better start making noise and doing their jobs, every one.....Tell them we are tired of their silence and pandering to the right......Blessings, we need them...Peace, demand it
August 21st, 2006 at 12:29 amJust and off topic note.
My neighbor attended the Grange Fair today in Bucks Country, PA. Sen. Rick Santorum, with his low poll numbers was there. She said Santorum was working the crowd and went to approach this one woman and my neigbor said she let out a scream as if she'd seen a mouse and yelled at Santorum, calling him evil.
There is a God!
August 21st, 2006 at 12:51 amSharon, I try not to spend too much time there myself. It always raises my blood pressure, I feel like walking across the street and just hitting someone. That group is seriously vulgar with the language and attitude that spews from their mouths. I will definitely keep an eye out for you. See you on the corner....

August 21st, 2006 at 7:01 amLeft Coast Mike, the short time we were there was just a screaming match......Scarie times we live in with so much anger here in our own country......Mentioned in another post a few day's ago about 2 incidents. One bad one could have been deadly, in a Safeway parking lot in Lake Stevens and in daylight hours, I out smarted the skin head and just left before he could weild his rath over my bumper stickers..The second incident was a good one at the hardware store parking lot and a young Latino man became a activest convert because of the bumper sticker displays. .....Just like the bull shit bush famious statement " your either with us or against us" has caused the devision in our country and the world.....Sad thing is, these day's there is no compromise or negotiating with this bunch and many of their followers are the types that want to just kill something........
