The Republicans have spent the last couple of decades trying to politicize the judicial process and we have resisted… but if we start acting like this was a political decision and not one that is necessarily mandated under the constitution – we start to add credence to the idea that judges should be loyal to party or ideology first and then the constitution second.

I think we should treat this like it was the only decision that even a half assed competent judge could have arrived at… not an extraordinary decision but one that is not only expected but mandated under the constitution.
