The headline should read “Britain may ‘Cut and Run’ from Iraq”, shouldn’t it. I can’t wait to hear Bush say Blair is cutting and running. If he is a man of principle he will.
My GOD! Britain is announcing to the all of the terrorists in the world that they plan on cutting and running by NEXT YEAR!
Jesus Christ, call Bush. Let him know the Axis is crumbling. First Israel gets routed by a handful of terrorists in trenches then the UK tells all the terrorists to WAIT A FEW MORE MONTHS and then they can take over.
Quick, send up the Bat signal, ring the bells, sound the alarms. The sky is falling, there are terrorists here there and everywhere. Wet your bed, hide in the cellar the terrorists are coming…………argh…..
And if the Brits pull out while BushCo keeps the U.S. there at least through 2008, how much of an increase in U.S. troop strength will be required to maintain the current stalemate and to provide a bare minimum of safety for our troops?
Who does this leave to support Brush Clearing Bush? Oh. That’s right. The second largest armed force in Iraq since the beginning; Corporate Mercenaries.
Here’s an interesting look at Kristol’s prophecy ability (also ignorance and idiocy):
* Speaking to Terry Gross on NPR’s Fresh Air – April 1, 2003:
“And on this issue of the Shia in Iraq, I think there’s been a certain amount of, frankly, Terry, a kind of pop sociology in America that, you know, somehow the Shia can’t get along with the Sunni and the Shia in Iraq just want to establish some kind of Islamic fundamentalist regime. There’s almost no evidence of that at all. Iraq’s always been very secular.”
According to a poll conducted a week after the arrest of 24 Brits of Pakistani origin suspected of being involved in an alleged plot to blow up American airliners in-flight, by a margin of more than five to one the Brits want Prime Minister Tony Blair to “split” with President George Bush over his conduct of the War on Terror.
Even though Bush made it clear in his declaration of a War on Terror – at which Blair was present – that “Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.”
LOOKS LIKE WERE WITH THE TERRORISTS AMERICA BEWARE US BRITS HAVE JOINED THE TERRORISTS
of course, I love how everyone in the news won’t say that maybe, just maybe, they insurgency is an active resistance against a foreign occupying force. I mean if the EU said that BUSH was a rogue dictator and invaded, we would all resist their occupation if they were there for 3+ years and their PM’s were saying that they would not leave for several more years (not to mention the stealing of natural resources, crappy reconstruction, etc). But the public cannot think for themselves and do not see the iraqi resistance as a natural consequence of the USA invading their country. They will not stop resisting the foreign occupiers who are stealing their oil, which belongs to the iraqis, until we leave period, end of story. we need to leave ASAP
a) Iraq is an infero, bedlam, a charred hellscape of bloodied corpses.

August 22nd, 2006 at 2:00 pmThe British government could face charges of aiding and abetting serious violations of international law by allowing US arms flights to Israel to use UK airports.
