Suggesting your political opponents be murdered.

Just another day at work for mainstream media darling Ann Coulter.

I can’t beleive those unhinged bloggers and the bile they spew toward Senator Lieberman.

These people are really out of control!

  2. Badmoodman says:

Must we really bash Gash Limbaugh? She’s a caricature that only appeals to the lunatic fringe.

  3. TripMaster Monkey says:

    *Sigh*

Ann Coulter is disgusting, pathetic excuse for a human being…a waste of skin.

We know. We all know this by now.

Why must we continue to watch with rapt fascination every time Ann smears her own feces all over herself? The woman is subhuman slime, and the very act of witnessing her antics degrades us.

Can we just put her out of mind? After all, she isn’t taken seriously by anyone any longer, so there’s no need to wade into her mud pit to refute her poisonous statements.

If you see a dog turd on the grass, do you kick it? Of course not…all that accomplishes is spreading the shit around, as well as staining your shoes.

It’s time we stopped kicking the turd and started just walking around it.

  4. The DLC are Frauds says:

That’s right. Coulter the FOX favorite. If FOX can’t book Coulter they know they have a big name Democrat or Juan Williams waiting in the wings.

  5. Wayne A. Schneider says:

She refers in her article to Mr. Lamont as “Ned the Red” and says that he inherited his millions. I have heard from other, more reputable sources, that he is a self-made millionaire. While I am more inclined to believe the latter, is there some way we can verify for oursleves that Ned Lamont did NOT inherit “millions”? And why does she call him “Ned the Red”? Because he’s liberal? Is there anything factual that she can hang this charge on, or did she just make it up in one of her pathetic attempts to be funny?

  6. dlet says:

Okay. I understand that every once in a while mAnn can be slammed around for the idiocy she represents. But when I follow the link I just wish they didn’t have a picture of her on their sites. Eeewww. You can see her dirty soul.

  7. nym@alias.net says:

    why are republicans violent?

  8. matthew says:

I don’t give a damn where he got his money from, I only care about how he uses it. Using his wealth as an attack tactic is pathetic and shows the opposition’s desperation to make the guy look bad. I think that should be obvious to everyone.

  9. Wayne A. Schneider says:

You can see her dirty soul.

    Comment by dlet

Is that what that was? I thought it was Bob Novak next to her.

  10. Republicans are the fear and smear party says:

Would anyone like to suggest how they would like to see Ann Coulter die?

  11. Badmoodman says:

“And why does she call him “Ned the Red”?’ – - Because Coulter is into rhymes whether they make sense or not. She’s a real Dorothy Parker, that one.

Lamont was a successful businessman who made his fortune setting up cable TV systems for college campuses.

  12. bones says:

Again she makes death threats. Note that if you or I did this, the FBI would have worked us over and we would have never done it again. But too many repugs want to sleep with Coulter because “she’s a man baby” so she never gets in trouble.

  13. Hardy Haberman says:

So if any other American made such threats they would be declared an “Enemy Combatant”. Well maybe Ann needs a few years at Gitmo?

  14. Republicans are the fear and smear party says:

We actually need more Ann Coulters. She sets an excellent example of how extreme, ugly, and hateful Republicans are. It can only help Dems.

  15. PLC (PatrioticLiberalChristian) says:

Would anyone like to suggest how they would like to see Ann Coulter die? Comment by Republicans are the fear and smear party

Long-term constipation. (She can keep her sh–!)

  16. Wayne A. Schneider says:

Thanks, Badmoodman. That’s what I heard. I was just wondering if there is any evidence that he also inherited “millions”. I do not doubt that he made millions on his own with his business. I only ask because if it’s true that he inherited millions, then not only would Coulter be right (a thought so disturbing I almost couldn’t finish this post), it would undermine support for Lamont. If, however, it is NOT true, then I believe it is important that this talking point be squashed immediately, lest it become the talking point du jour on the Sunday talk shows. So is she lying or telling the truth? (Statistically speaking, she’s lying, of course.)

  17. katy says:

the other day i heard lamont referred to as “aristocratic“…
it was obviously an attempt to paint him as a wealthy snob…
it just slipped into the sentence… wish i could remember the speaker…
it caught my ear because i knew he was a self-made millionaire – but the regular joes and jills this was meant for heard “enemy”… idjits…

  18. DM says:

See, I thought that inciting violence and threatening someone over the internet were punishable offenses. Guess I was wrong.

Guess what I wish for you, Ann?

  19. Art says:

Would anyone like to suggest how they would like to see Ann Coulter die?

    No. We don’t do that.

  20. mcflurry says:

sorry, Art, but i’d like that bitch drown in her own hypocracy.

  21. cynicalgirl says:

#5, I don’t understand why it matters. Bush inherited millions, why doesn’t that bother her as well?

Actually, I do think he inherited some (Goldman Sachs?), and made some on his own as a successful business owner. That’s more than you can say for the failed CEO in the White House.

  22. Badmoodman says:

“I do not doubt that he (Lamont) made millions on his own with his business. I only ask because if it’s true that he inherited millions…it would undermine support for Lamont.” – - Inheriting millions while driving several business ventures into dust hasn’t seemed to adversely affected the guy in the White House.

  23. Quadrajet says:

#10 – the massive amount of hormones that ann has to take to keep her beard under control will evenutally do her in. The same surgeon who forgot to remove her adam’s apple also failed to realize one of her testicles hadn’t dropped, so it’s still there and requires unsafe levels of estrogen to counteract it’s affects.

  24. Wayne A. Schneider says:

    #21 Badmoodman,

True, it hasn’t. But then, that wasn’t his money he lost. His good friend James Bath helped him raise some of that money. What ever hapened to James Bath, any way?

  25. Sharon Cox says:

I was flipping the channels last night and saw a few minutes of this weird miserable person on the tube…..Just like every other moment I have caught on Dear old ugly Ann..Spewing hate, slaps on any one and trying to improve a dreadful self image..ann is a waste of my time and air time……Moving right along, I have better thing’s to do than listening to what this person has to say or write…..Blessings . we need them…Filters to eliminate the Coulters of the world are called remote control….Peace, demand it

  26. chimpeach says:

Would anyone like to suggest how they would like to see Ann Coulter die?

I wasn’t going to. But, just for the sake of trying my hand at that zany Republican humor, how’s this? Feed Ann Coulter into a wood chipper. The only thing I can’t decide is whether to put her in feet first so we can see what happens to the smirk on her face, or put her in head first to shut her up.

Isn’t that funny? I know the trolls are just ROTFLTAO. To Repugnicans, killing is just another form of slapstick humor.

  27. RUCerious says:

She really does remind me of the girl in high school who craved popularity so desperately she laid any guy who wanted it. After a while, interestingly enough, no one wanted any more.
Hmm, a lesson there, Ms Desperation?

  28. bluefish says:

Good one chimpeach. Here’s another one the Repubs can enjoy, cause it’s their type of humor:

Justice Stevens could slip a little rat poison into Ann’s creme brulee.

  29. Yachts and Lattes says:

Chafee is everything the Democrats like to claim Republicans are, which we are not and they are: …

Coulter is paid millions to snipe “I know you are, but what am I”?

…silver-spoon morons who get ahead on the basis of family connections (for example, Ned the Red Lamont in Connecticut).

Doesn’t this describe W pretty well? Silver spoon? check. Moron? OK, hyperbole, but Ned isn’t either. Get ahead on the basis of family connections? Well, let’s see…he got into Yale but doesn’t display any kind of intellectual curiosity. After a few decades of wastrelism, he was given an oil company to run. He still managed to parlay that into a baseball team and then the governor’s mansion and then the white house. Talk about born on third base thinking he hit a triple.

  30. Jake3988 says:

We need to have an ENTIRE THREAD of all the Coulter ramblings… because that’s about how large its gotten.

But we certainly get by now that’s she’s a pathetic human being.

  31. Cunter's Revenge says:

    mAnn,
The money you make ridiculing others without any chance for them to respond will come back to haunt you. Big time.
You’ve never done anything worthwhile in your entire life, you suggest killing others is OK, & yet W’s boys never blink an eye at your threats.
‘Live by the sword, die by the sword’ will be your mantra.
Instead of ways to kill this miserable slut, how about epitaphs?…
    By the Sewer She lived,
    By the Sewer She died.
    Some called it murder,
    but it was Sewercide!

  32. Yachts and Lattes says:

Can we just put her out of mind? After all, she isn’t taken seriously by anyone any longer, so there’s no need to wade into her mud pit to refute her poisonous statements.

Google “Swift Boat” and remind yourself of the penalties of failing to engage.

  33. Trinary Suka says:

This is exactly why Anne is not a Christian.

Who ever heard of a Christian praying and wishing for the Death of another human being?

And this is also why Anne is a Satanist because only Satan listens to such hate speech.

You are giving Christians a bad name Anne!

  34. tablogloid says:

Lamont earned his money but he did not start from poverty. He was born into a wel-to-do family.

  35. tablogloid says:

Lamont is no rag to riches guy.
Along with a commitment to public service, old money runs deep in the Lamont family line, entwined with Wall Street, Exeter, Harvard and country estates along both sides of the Hudson River. The family fortune was piled high by the labors of Thomas W. Lamont, a banker and entrepreneur who, as a partner of J.P. Morgan, became one of the richest men in the country.
Just to set the record straight.

  36. Wayne A. Schneider says:

I found the same article when I did a Google search. His family did have money, but it also says that his father is an economist, suggesting that his father is alive and that Ned, therefore, did not “inherit” his family’s millions as Coulter suggested. Thanks.

  37. Darin says:

I wonder how Ann would react to someone doing a column calling for Ann’s assassination. This woman is dangerous.

  38. PLC (PatrioticLiberalChristian) says:

I find this woman to be both laughable and simultaneously very scary. My concern is that her rhetoric is going to tip the scale for someone who actually does murder a person that Coulter has targeted, and does it in her name.

  39. Trinary Suka says:

    http://www.armchairsubversive.com/hitlerwithtits.gif

See Hitler with tits doing the outrageous and unhinged spittle spewing ChickenHawk dance!

  40. Gregor Samsa says:

Conservative shills like Ann Coulter love to call others “elitists”, and accuse them of being born with a “silver-spoon” because they are catering to their readers, who presumably are not wealthy and couldn’t afford an expensive education. In essence, they engage in what amounts to “class warfare” by stirring animosity of the have-not towards the haves, the very sin they always accuse the Democrats of.

As for Ann herself, she is from Connecticut, and her parents live in New Cannan -one of the cities with the highest incomes in the country. She graduated from Cornell University, where the tuition is now around $33,000 a year -hardly within the reach of a blue-collar family. She reportedly payed about $2million for her new house in Florida.

And for a woman who professes to be a “conservative”, she certainly acts like those liberals she hates so much: She is a 40-something year old carrier woman, single, with no man to suport her.

Yeah Ann, you nitwit, let’s shoot all those “elitist silver-spooned morons”.

  41. Parrotlover77 says:

tablogloid and Wayne A. Schneider …

Even if Ned was raised a rich boy and stands to inherit great wealth, why does that matter? For the rich (even inherited wealth) to be on the Democratic side is a VERY good thing. Democrats tend to support greater taxation of the rich and also support the inheritance tax. If somebody who inherited money and had to pay the IRS a large lump sum to come out and say “it’s the right thing to do” completely eliminates the greedy Republican talking points of “keeping what you earn” and “unfair taxes on the rich.” It also shows that all rich people are not a$$holes like the Bush and Cheney families. Maybe other rich people will follow Lamont’s lead and develop a conscience of their own. Sort of how some mega-wealthy people look at how Bill Gates is giving away a huge amount of his fortune and thinking… Gosh, I’m really greedy…

I just can’t believe Republicans are giving Lamont a hard time for being rich… If he was out to protect his wealth, he’d be running as a Republican, not a Democrat. Democrats won’t let him get away with policies that unfairly benefit the rich at the expense of the poor.

Being rich doesn’t necessarily make you evil. For that, you need somebody drinking from the cup of Bush.

  42. just a thought says:

Is it really leagal to suggest killing someone (specifically by name and suggesting the method) on public access (airwaves, internet)? Really? I always thought that that was illegal, but I guess I was wrong. Where is MA? He claims to be a lawyer. Please explain. Could someone go on the air and suggest killing a prominent Republican (by name) and suggesting the specific method that ought to be used? Really? This is not even a religious fanatic ranting about our government ought to assassinate another country’s leader — this is an American suggesting that American politicians should be assassinated. WTF?

  43. Ho Chi Minh says:

#10; I prefer the classic; burn her at the stake.

  44. Gay Bear says:

    #10 — Immediately.

  45. WORFEUS says:

    Gee, only 45 comments.

    Ann’s losing her popularity.

Oh well. Guess her 15 minutes are up.

  46. Briseadh na Faire says:

#10 – she should be given the same grace and compassion the Republicans want to force upon Terry Shiavo.

  47. Marie says:

Coulter speaks of assassination and killing of people who disagree with her politics; if a lunatic takes her suggestion, she must be prosecuted as well.
She is a desperately sick and twisted person.

  48. Wayne A. Schneider says:

    #42 Parrotlover,

I don’t care, either, whether Ned earned all of his millions himself through his own business ventures or whether he inherited most of what he has. My ONLY concern was the accuracy of saying he inherited it. If he didn’t, then Ann Coulter is lying about yet another thing. But if he DID inherit “millions” (and the amount matters), then what she said is factually correct and can’t be added to the ever-growing list of lies she’s told. That’s all. I think he’s a good guy and I support his election, especially ovedr that Bush-supporting Lieberman.
