Karl Rove’s word ‘no longer gospel.’

Rove “appears to have the least political authority since he came to Washington,” the New York Times reports, with many conservatives ignoring his advice and turning on President Bush and his policies.

NY Times still hasn’t retracted its stories claiming that Karl Rove leaked Valerie Plame’s name, so who care what else they say about Karl. Karl stepped in and crushed Busby in CA-50, and he will crush other Dems in the House and Senate races. Thanks to Karl, Reps have made some Dem Senatorial seats competitive, so the NYT can keep motivating Karl to destroy Democrats.

bhu-bhu-bu-bu-but I thought all conservatives were part of a monolithic Republican machine! What’s all this talk about a parasitic neocon infestation being finally resisted?

  3. Jackie says:

Now that the religious groups and the GOP know that Karl was attacking Gays while supporting his Gay father thinks aren’t always what the seem.
Just what was Karl really doing was he using the GOP money for his father’s Gay club maybe. Karl says he loved the father that raised him yet hid behind the truth by attacking Gays with the Bush racist. Now what does love really mean to Karl Rove love the of lie or love of the truth. He should have stood next to his Dad and be proud at least Cheney stood up for his daughter. How many other lies or unspoken truths has Rove been hiding.
Now the the street side corruption deals with Abramoff. Should we believe honest Karl and dishonest Jack. Jack is going to jail but his time is shorten by the information he gives. Karl as lied so many times now can he really tell the truth if so who would believe him.

In case your following the CIA case. Armitage was the second person to tell Novak about Plame Karl was the first. Just follow the time line for the truth. Oh yes and as all the talk about dropping this case notice also that all the Presidents men leaked the information before it was declassified. Yes folks the President’s men leaked classified national security information so fast they forgot to declassify it until Novak’s article came out. The date on the declassified order tells the truth. These guys were so busy they forgot the smallest detail and it’s the most important one.

Maybe Rove’s word is losing respect, but his legacy lives on.
The news today is chock full of thenumber we have killed today. No word of anything other than just wonderful news coming from the middle East. It’s alll coming up roses there.
The media has been well trained.
BTW, how many second-in-command are there in Al Qaeda?

  7. HotSopDotCom says:

Of course, even if Rove were drummed out of the White House the Dems couldn’t take advantage of it due to their support for, for instance, massive illegal immigration. If you want to take advantage of Rove being disfavored, you have to offer an alternative not just the same thing he does.

  8. Zooey says:

Right, the Repubs aren’t going to be listening to their evil genius anymoe. Mmmm hmmm, it would be just like the Dems to fall for this shit.

  9. GSD says:

    Trollskies,

“Then we will CRUSH the Democrats.”

    Relax you armchair commando.

Why don’t you and Pappy Rove go give each other a nice relaxing bubble bath. Maybe you can go on a trip to the Domincan Republic with Rush Limp-baugh and take some Viagra and hang out “with the boys” as Rush said.

Maybe you can hang out with the “hot”, single, childless shrew of a spinster, Ann C-hole-ter and talk about what it would be like to be married and have children and carry on the ways of the Lord by rasing a family instead of being childless spinsters and bachelors.

    What a bunch of losers.

P.S. Ken Mehlman said he and Jeff Gannon would be late for the Tupper-ware party.

So, I take it you think Karl Rove is a peachy kind of guy? Your mom must be proud of the little demon she has raised. Say hi to the devil when you get down there.

  13. Glenn Becker says:

I for one love Herr Hendler’s Tom Clancy-inspired “crush … kill … destroy” scenarii. They’re so Heston-Biblical. It does, however, make me wonder if he kept /all/ the drawings of tanks he made when he was in grade school.

And his box of men. Boom!

  14. Sharon Cox says:

Good post’s but I don’t agree that his child hood and closeted gay step dad is the issue most voters will be considering when they vote this time or in 2008…

I think the issues on the average public voter’s minds will be, slow response and the wrong direction of this entire administration…Their lack of concern for finding BenLauden and the bush family ties to many of the Saudis connected to 9/11..Bush’s lies and attacking Iraq, all the corruption in his administration, total disregard for the Katrina victoms, constant vacation’s, distruction of our constitution and driving our country in to a bankrupt society, beholden to foreign countries.

Bush’s dictator slant is no longer sitting well for the working class…Breaking the back’s mind’s and heart’s of america and mass murder of our own troop’s along with Iraq citizen’s is no longer sitting well…Our country and her people have had enough of the dumbass every one thought they would like to have a beer with. Now they are realizing they voted against their own self intrests for a fool who is backed by extreme evil…Perhaps the final straw’s are by their own word’s, calling all of us traitors of sort’s for not continuing to back their forever war mongering way’s.Even if most of the public has a short attention span they are sick of watching bush dictate and lie to them the same “stay the course”..Now they know it means intercourse and we the public are getting screwed…Many were awakened to what we had done by watching how Israel and the bush bunch handled Lebanon…The fact we were supporting with bombs and money for them to kill hundreds of women and children and level the country did not sit well. Now that Lebanon has to deal with cluster bombs that is not sitting well either.

Bush and company have warn out the ” fight them over there in stead of over here”, most like me are just plane weary of his face and all the same speeches we see daily by our viseting wacko trolls…Bush and his entire administration are now grinding on our nerves and we want them out of office….Rather we win enough seats in this next election or not you can all bet one thing, our country and her people are sick of what this bunch has done and they want it righted…Most on the right, left and center want the people to get their country back…It’s showing up in the polls, the press is getting stronger as this administration get’s weaker…Soon all will ask for total accountability and demand most of the damage be turned around…

It’s happening people, I can see it and hear it already and the more this bunch scream and continue their rant’s and name calling of We the people the worse they look and the quicker the tide will turn….Blessings all, Peace for the children of the world.

  15. Trinary Sockpuppet says:

Karl did leak Valeries name Jason Schindler, he just wasn’t the FIRST one to do it, nevertheless he did propagate the leak knowing damn good and well that the woman was an Agent, he used for political gain.

So when are you gonna don your brown shirt Jason?

  16. Trinary Sockpuppet says:

Sorry Jason, didn’t mean to say brown shirt, I mean to say brown tutu =]

    Republican Party Chairman Sam Walls,

candidacy for Congress when it was found he likes to dress up in women’s clothing

  19. RUCerious says:

Rove isn’t the genius everyone makes him out to be
It doesn’t take genius to think up illegal campaign tactics and outrageous bullshit. Nor does it take genius to emulate Himmler so accurately.

  20. purvis ames says:

What’s all this stuff about Rove’s father being gay? Rove himself is obviously queer and is a regular at Archibald’s on K Street, a well known, upper crust gay bar.

  21. bones says:

Rove’s word not gospel? Who is orchestrating Lieberman’s campaign? Who is orchestrating the “Nazi sympathizer” campaign? Who is orchestrating the “everyone hates brown people” campaign? Yeah, Rove’s not in control./sarcasm

  24. Nguyen says:

Ho’s given name at birth was Nguyen Tat Thanh. He also had another name – Nguyen Van Ba. Ho used this name when he worked as a steward in a ship, the La Touche Treville, on his overseas trip from Saigon to Marseilles, France. He changed back to Nguyen Tat Thanh after his arrival in France.

Ho has been known by many aliases. His first alias, second well-known after Ho Chi Minh, was Nguyen Ai Quoc. This alias was picked by Phan Chu Trinh, a famous patriot, and used as a joint pen-name of four others: Phan Van Truong a lawyer; Nguyen The Truyen , an engineer who married to a princess of Belgium; Nguyen An Ninh , a journalist, and Phan Chu Trinh. However, Ho was the only one that publicly used the name Nguyen Ai Quoc.

Ho also had around ten other aliases such as: Ly Thuy, Vuong, Tran, etc. Those names however, were not very well-known.

In fact, Ho Chi Minh was a real name of an old Chinese man who was believed to be a beggar.with unlocated relatives. When he died, he left nothing but his identification card. Later, Nguyen Tat Thanh bought this document. Using identification card of the dead was quite popular in Chinese outlaw society at that time. When Ho was arrested by the Chinese Kuomintang, he used this name – Ho Chi Minh.

Ho Chi Minh was a confirmed homophyle and had 12 to 14 little boys delivered to him daily.

There is a legend, in our country as well as in China, on the miraculous “Book of the Wise”. When facing great difficulties, one opens it and finds a way out. Leninism is not only a miraculous “book of the wise”, a compass for us Vietnamese revolutionaries and people: it is also the radiant sun illuminating our path to final victory, to socialism and communism.

I think he’s a weasel first class with very little education, a punk ass jerk who has snuck his way into George’s ego. Being the weak minded fool that GWB is, a sychophant like Rove can become his “mentor” of political machinations.
Is that clear enough for you?

  32. Jason M. Hendler says:

    #5,

Ann Coulter already documented Democrats use of circular and self-supportin links to feign credibility, so providing links add NO credibility to statements. Only facts and reasoned, logical arguements can stand on their own, and don’t require links to buttress empty statements like yours.

  33. Jason M. Hendler says:

    #10,

I provide facts and reasoned arguements / extrapolations, and you answer with personal attacks – of course, that is all Dems have these days.

I’ve been reading Juan Williams book “Enough”, and he finally pulls the current away from the empty “leadership” within the black community, and the shameless pandering of white Democrats to hold the their votes. You don’t provide your constituents ANY viable solutions to their situations, so they continue to fall behind white Americans and the new immigrants flooding this country. Typical plight of all Dems constituents – Dems tell them what they want to hear, and not what they need to hear.

There are many villains in the Bush admin. and, Addington is certainly at the top of the list. You may have already read the article in the New Yorker on July 3, 2006, by Mayer, spelling out his role.

  37. Marie says:

Insisting that current US policy “is neither working, nor making us more secure,” Democratic leaders from both houses of Congress today wrote US President George W. Bush to urge the beginning of a withdrawal from Iraq.
They are also calling for change in civilian leadership in the Pentagon.
The entire letter is at Raw Story.

  38. suggie says:

Jason isn’t even literate enough to spell “arguments” (arguements?? Perhaps that’s on the same page as “nukular” or “eckaleptic” – could be??
He’s not worthy of the time or energy of some of the intellectuals who frequent this blog. By his posts, he proves that he is a very juvenile, uninformed and personally angry individual each time.

  39. suggie says:

and Karl Rove is a moot point at this point. He’s impotent to run his typical show any longer. The people have caught on and the game is over for him.

  40. Jason M. Hendler says:

    #45, dix – plural,

Thank again for bringing up that topic, as it seems that Sudan will NOT allow the UN peacekeepers into Sudan, and instead, at most, may allow the African Union troops to renew their charter to defend those in the refugee camps. I would be surprised if the AU renews their troops stay in that country, and instead leave protecting the refugees up to the UN. Either way, the Islamic militants will eventually slaughter those refugees to make way for a new, stronger, more industrious islamic culture. Meanwhile, AIDS has infected 25 million of the sub-Saharan Africans, and is forecast to reach 100 million in the coming decades. War and disease will eliminate black Africans, and islamic peoples from Northern Africa, and Chinese and Indains from their swollen populations will take their place.

Nothing racist about that, just extrapolating existing trends.

  41. Jason M. Hendler says:

    #47, NCMI,

I am not disregarding or discounting the interest of any group. I am pointing out that American “aid” only caused the African tribal populations to explode without changing their culture to one of self sufficiency and personal responsibility, leaving them vulnerable to the islamic militants and AIDS pandemic.

America is NOT CAPABLE of helping these tribal cultures, and the member states of the UN are totally UNWILLING to intervene, so the situation must run its course – islamic militants, Chinese and Indians will inheret the continent of Africa, and there is NOTHING anyone can do about it.

when former Republican Congressman-turned-right-wing-TV news analyst Joe Scarborough aired a ten-minute segment of his “Scarborough Country,” posing the question: “Is Bush an Idiot?” Throughout the segment, the words “Is Bush an Idiot?” ran across the bottom of the screen. The segment provoked a firestorm of media commentaries, including two subsequent “Scarborough Country” segments, an equal number of satirical assaults on President Bush’s mental midgetry by Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart, and a detailed news account in the Aug. 20 Sunday Washington Post of the conservative revolt against the Idiot-in-Chief. Equally distressing for the White House is a series of op-ed pieces by previously loyal conservative pundits, including George Will and National Review editor Rich Lowry, all declaring that Bush’s Iraq misadventure has been a dismal failure.

A senior U.S. intelligence figure described the situation in Washington as “chaos—the worst chaos I have ever seen.” He confirmed earlier reports that former President George H.W. Bush is apoplectic over his son’s descent into messianic madness, and that Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is so isolated from the White House, that she is not even consulting with the President as she attempts to find a replacement Deputy Secretary of State, to fill the vacancy left by Robert Zoellick’s sudden departure in June
