James Bamford, an author and journalist who has written about security issues, appeared on MSNBC to discuss “The Path to 9/11.” Bamford revealed that an FBI agent who worked as a consultant to the film quit halfway through production of the mini-series because he believed the writers and producers were “making things up.” Watch it:
Write ABC and tell them to tell the truth about 9/11.
Transcript:
BAMFORD: It’s made-up. This is fiction. This is not real. One of my friends actually was a consultant to this production — an FBI agent who worked on 9/11. He quit halfway through because he thought they were making things up.

OK, if this agent has ANY balls he will step forward into the light. Why did Bamfoed wait until now if he had this info since "halfway through" the production?

September 7th, 2006 at 12:14 pmWhat on earth is up with that headline "TV Movie Puts Pres. Clinton on Defensive"? Talk about a slanted frame.
Imagine an alternate reality in which ABC airs a "docudrama" promoting the conspiracy theory that Bush knew about the attacks but intentionally did nothing to stop them. Would the headline be "TV Movie Puts Bush on Defensive"?
It should be "TV Movie Slanders Clinton Administration." That wouldn't be a statement of opinion; it would be fact.

September 7th, 2006 at 12:18 pmPerhaps it's a good thing if this mockumentary is aired? For openers, it will "out" ABC & Disney as to their political agendas. Secondly, it will show the american public just how far this admin. will go to manipulate minds and attempt to rewrite history. But thirdly, it certainly will have the desire effect of "refocusing the minds of the people on what actually did occur on that tragic day"....which begins with COS sitting in a 2nd grade classroom and continuing to read My Pet Goat while the WTC fell to dust....without flinching or batting an eyelast. Impotency?
Lastly, as the microscopic lens begins to more finely focus on the events of 9/ll, there will be an outcry for further investigation (since Keane obviously prefers the limelight to that of pressing the need for implementation of the list of things necessary to protect this country as indicated by his own report). Perhaps an investigation needs to occur as to precisely "WHY" nothing has been done to further protect us? And why?
And what about an actual, historic timeline of 9/11 events?? Where's all that? The american public, for whom these neocons work, needs to know.
So, let's support ABC in their sponsorship of this mockumentary because it will, no doubt, spawn something much, much larger.......thanks, ABC!

September 7th, 2006 at 12:20 pmThis is all politically timed too...I wouldn't be surprised if they air the video again the night before elections in November. Anyone who says the media is liberal is a tool.

September 7th, 2006 at 12:26 pmYour hope for the results of this mockumentary only demonstrates your great spirit and optimism, to be admired. I fear, however, that all this film will do is reinforce false history in the minds of too many Americans. The percentage of Americans believing that Iraq is central to the war on terror, there was a connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda, and that WMD were found will probably increase as a result.
Thanks plunger, I just emailed the whole crew at Scholastic & told them I'd stop my local school districts purchases of their products if they choose to abuse the trust we place in them by telling lies to our children.
September 7th, 2006 at 12:26 pmI think it is great fun watching the wheels come off of this neocon conspiracy...
September 7th, 2006 at 12:31 pmHow utterly unsurprising. This entire travesty of a lie would never have been made if it weren't for the fact that the actual media political leanings are right up Karl Rove's fat ass.
September 7th, 2006 at 12:37 pmSo the reich-wing is trying to blame Clinton for 9/11? Wasn't it Condi Rice who recieved a memo that said "Bin Laden determined to strike in the US" which outlined that Al queda was investigating hijackings, yet Condi and Bush ignored it? I'm pretty sure that Bush was in office (reading the pet goat) and not Clinton.
September 7th, 2006 at 12:39 pmThis pack of lies is an attempt by higher ups at ABC to get into the good graces of people at the White House and Fox News. I think Charlie Gibson is a closet wanta but conservative and he probably played a big role in this destortion of the truth. I've notice the so called "liberal media" types like Wolf Blitzer, Tim Russert, and others go out of their way to prove they aren't liberal. In other words they tend to take the Republican view on things regardless of what the facts really are.
If my charge about Gibson weren't true, he'd be fighting this bunch of bull tooth and nail. I've seen the network anchors falling all over themselves to favor the conservatives for fear of being the next Dan Rather. They are so afraid that they have lost all jounalistic integrity in my humble opinion. On the other hand anyone who didn't know that Fox New is nothing but a propaganda machine for Republic rightwing views, must be living on another planet. You would expect something like this from Fox on the eve of national elections, but ABC? Peter Jennings would have never gone for such a blatant attempt to sway voters with a pack of lies.
It is so obvious what they are trying to do. With a solid majority of voters finally realizing Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 and blaming Bush, they (ABC) had to find a way to shift the blame to Clinton. As I recall Bill Clinton was the former President on 9-11-01 and George W. Bush was the sitting President. Republicans have been attempting to blame 9-11 on Clinton since day one to avoid responsibility for what happened on their watch. What ABC is doing is shameful and amounts to trying to blame a retired Cop for not solving a crime that happened after he'd retired and was no longer on duty.
Shame, shame, shame, ABC (Absolutely Buffaloed Cowards), you are going down, and this weak attempt to appease the White House, Republicans, and Fox News will go down in history as a joke on you. I'll tell you why, Fox News will still be calling you liberals after your attempted butt kissing has become a faded memory.
September 7th, 2006 at 12:40 pmreply from wcvb in Boston about 9-11 propaganda:
Thank you for contacting us regarding the ABC special, “The Path to 9/11.â€
This Sunday and Monday WCVB-TV Channel 5 will air ABC’s commercial-free broadcasts of “The Path to 911. On Monday, Part Two will be followed by a special edition of “Primetime Live,†an electronic town meeting.
We will forward your concerns to the ABC Network, since they are still in the final edit of the program.
The following disclaimer will air throughout the movie:
“The following movie is a dramatization that is drawn from a variety of sources including the 9/11 Commission Report and other published materials, and from personal interviews. The movie is not a documentary. For dramatic and narrative purposes, the movie contains fictionalized scenes, composite and representative characters and dialogue, as well as time compression."
ABC further states, “The events that lead to 9/11 originally sparked great debate, so it’s not surprising that a movie surrounding those events has revived the debate. The attacks were a pivotal moment in our history that should never be forgotten and it’s fitting that the discussion continues.â€
From talk shows to internet blogs, the discussions about “The Path to 911†have generated much heat, but precious little light. It is interesting to note that viewers, who have been kind enough to contact us directly, arise from two distinct camps: pro-President Bill Clinton and pro-President George W.Bush. That is correct -- both sides have been complaining.
Having reviewed a copy of this mini-series, the management at Channel 5 feels strongly that viewers should decide for themselves the merits of this movie. Unfortunately, there is plenty of blame to go around – Republican, Democrat, government official and everyday citizen.

September 7th, 2006 at 12:45 pmplunger,
Thank you for all your hard work collecting this information. I find it quite interesting because I do not believe the 9/11 Commission Report. I do not know if I am willing to go as far as your posts have suggested, but I am not dismissing them outright. For example, while I do not yet accept that our own government planned the attacks, I am definitely leaning toward them having foreknowledge and, because it would provide the "new Pearl Harbor" the neocons wanted, letting it happen. Even that is painful to accept, but it's hard to believe it impossible. I have no opinion one way or the other about AIPAC.
Because your posts are often deleted by admin, I either print out the threads to save the information or I copy and paste it all into a Word document so that the internet links are preserved. Then I can look at it later if it gets deleted. They have no excuse to delete anything you write on this topic because it's all "on topic".
Keep up the good work. Your words are not falling only on deaf ears. Some of us are reading and learning and we are grateful for it. Just wanted to let you know.

September 7th, 2006 at 12:58 pmQuestion from trblmkr -- Why wouldn't the FBI agent who consulted on this speak out earlier?
Answer: Probably because his contract with ABC and/or the producers forbids him to do so. It's likely that if he spoke up personally he'd be sued and/or be contractually bound to pay a steep financial penalty. That's why this commented wouldn't name the guy. Heck, if the producers find out who the 'leaker' is, then they'll probably go after him. One call to the NSA should do the trick...

September 7th, 2006 at 1:01 pmWho paid for this disinforation/garbage? Was it ABC/Disney? Any interlocking Directors involved with RW foundations? Methinks the money must be followed closely here. And if Disney is infltrated as asserted above, that needs to be exposed. Whether or not that's the case, media trusts have to be busted up. And I think that's part of the problem here - Disney and the other media trusts desperately want to protect their turf from congressional re-regulation that would follow from Democratic victory, and so they do all they can to swing elections to Republicans, "The Path to 911" being the most obvious and recent case in point. The media treatment of this election has to be monitored and refereed like never before.

I will also be visiting my children's techers, the school Principal, the School Board and the Superintendent of our School District to insure you have no influence over my children now or in the future...
What you are doing is an absolute DISGRACE.. and a slap in the faith to Education.

September 7th, 2006 at 1:09 pmTo believe that these lies will remain in the minds of americans is to totally underestimate the intelligence and spirituality of the american public. Of course, I am optimistic that when that microscope lens is refocused, the truth will prevail. Actually, Truth is totally "what is"....anything else is "unreality". If this mockumentary refocuses that lens for the majority of americans, perhaps this country has some hope of saving itself from doom.
Of course, we idealogically presume that if the Dems take over congress & senate in November, something magical will occur and we will regain our failing democracy. This cannot and will not occur until ALL truths are revealed....and the litany of lies and mountain of falsehoods keeps amassing daily.
Afer all , there is always that tenuous "point of no return" and I feel that we are edging dangerously close to that precipice. Perhaps we're too far gone and no human being (Dem, Rep, or Ind) who could possibly reverse all of the incredible damage which has recently been done??

"9/11 Demands Viewing"
Here's what I wrote the assface:
"Dear sir,
You wrote"
"The point is not to lay blame, because there's plenty to go around. The point is to learn from our mistakes, something we apparently have yet to do."
Mr. Balta, I think you better look a little more deeply into this. Mr. Kean has gone from basically promoting this film as a substitute for his commission's report:
""My belief is that if this miniseries helps the public really to understand the story of 9/11 - there are vast sections of the public who never will read our report - that (will lead) people to press for recommendations that everybody's for. Nobody's said our recommendations weren't the right thing to do. They're just not doing them.""
Now, he's much more cautious:
"Former New Jersey Gov. Thomas Kean, the co-chair of the Sept. 11 commission and an adviser to the miniseries, said in its defense that ``for dramatic and narrative purposes, there are scenes that are fictionalized in some ways because they're composites of what took place. You have to do that in a miniseries.''"
How can this "dramatization", that clearly does attempt to "lay blame" with fictional scenes that never really happened be expected to help the public "...really to understand the story of 9/11..."?
I think your "demands viewing" endorsement is misplaced.
Thank you,"
September 7th, 2006 at 1:22 pmPlunger,
I am enjoying your posts, but really, whether Osama bin Laden exists is factually not in question.
Even ignoring the fact that bin Laden was a CIA asset whom we used in Afghanistan, what do you make of the fact that Bill Clinton was after OBL for years during his presidency? Clinton's grave concerns about OBL and Al Qaeda's terrorist activities are extremely well-documented. President Clinton did not use OBL as his boogeyman the way that Bush does, but rather, pursued him vigorously and privately.
I agree that whether or not OBL is alive, and has made tapes recently, is anyone's guess. I also agree that if OBL is alive, he is probably either in league with Bush, or realizes that Bush's policies only help his recruiting drives and wants Bush to be president forever. But to think that OBL is a creation of Bush, you'd have to also believe that Bill Clinton was in on the conspiracy, and what would his motivation have been for that?
September 7th, 2006 at 1:22 pmDisney is infiltrated with numerous CIA and FBI NOCs. Not conjecture
So is the media. CNN appears loaded to the gills with intelligence agents.
September 7th, 2006 at 1:24 pmFinally, someone in the mainstream media has the courage and conviction to tell the truth ! Those responsbile for this explosive important film knew they would be ridiculed by the left-wing sycophants and their predictable attack machine, yet they put the truth ahead of their personal gains. These people are courageous, brave, and driven by the truth. Funny how these same crazed foaming-at-the-mouth, closed-minded democrats sing their tunes of boycott and censorship when they don't like what's being presented.
September 7th, 2006 at 1:28 pmNot sure how reliable this is, but I just read on another blog that ABC is about to announce that they won't be airing the film "because of inacuracies" .
The poster claimed to heard it on MSNBC, and that they are expecting an announcement from ABC shortly.
September 7th, 2006 at 1:29 pmIsn't government officials lobbying to prevent material from being aired called "censorship"? Let them air the thing, and let the public debate continue.

I know! But Florida has moved into a tie with the Phillies and they play a four-game series with each other. So the Mets can't eliminate them both at the same time.
Let's let everyone else get on with their discussion and not tie up the thread. And since you saw my post, you saw where I stand on this whole business. There is still much to learn.
September 7th, 2006 at 1:36 pmChouser,
Lets also air the Reagan documentary that the Repubs censored.
September 7th, 2006 at 1:37 pmYeah, Wayne...I saw your post. Obviously you know I couldn't disagree with you more. Quite frankly, I find ThinkProgress' obsession with this mini-series to be incredibly boring and tedious. I can't wait until this show airs just so people can get back to debating substantive issues....But since I disagreed with your posting so strongly, I decided to focus on something far more important...The orange and blue.
September 7th, 2006 at 1:41 pmI am busy on a book about current affairs and one of the foundation concepts holding the thing up is this one:
"Trust in journalists depends on accuracy, fairness and readines to acknowledge mistakes and apologise for them…Journalists should represent the governed, those without power, those without information - and that is no route to popularity with those who wield power." - Peter Cole, London Daily Mail.

Thank You for nailing that, it's nauseating to see these media outlets prostrate themselves endlessly for this President whenever possible-W's Neglectfully Malign response immediately after Katrina being one of those occasions reality couldn't be spun away to Karl Rove's liking
This Administration constantly plays everyone for idiots of the most blithering variety, ESPECIALLY their wingnut of theological thugs like Dobson, Loony Moonie, Rod "Sprig Of" Parsely, all the US Taliban who would rather hear hateful rhetoric about homosexuals than see this nation's numerous security shortcomings against terrorist attacks actually strengthened logically and competently
The wingnuts still refuse to see that anytime this Administration has to choose between it's social conservative base and it's business base, it ALWAYS goes with the $$$$$
And the media is just as willing to be blatantly lied to as well, as was pointed out, this Administration will always be quick to play the "liberal" label against even the most obsequious of media outlets & news operations-FOX excluded, as it's as much a part of this Administration as W & Cheney are-Tony Snow is perfect proof that FOX considers W's agenda as it's agenda as well, and both will always be advanced together no matter how unpopular a decision W makes that will infuriate the GOP base-most notably on immigration-FOX will give vent to unhappy neocons bashing W, but W will have no shortage of FOX defenders either
BUT.........
As we see now, this agenda is running up against a confluence of anger, undeniable reality, and domestic and foreign allies now distancing themselves from this Administration
And it's ALL happening leading up to the elections, just the scenario that FOX, Rove & W fear the most
That this propaganda is running into more problems by the day for ABC certainly won't help W sell his most-cherished self-mythology, that he's keeping the public any safer from terrorism now than he did on Sept 11, or that he's actually waging any kind of real, competent & effective anti-terrorist efforts
It's time to do exactly what Karl Rove would do to a dazed & reeling political enemy, and that's go for the finish by turning the opponent's strength into an obvious weakness that in this case puts the US public at greater risk of another terrorist attack
Here's a great article to start with
Government misses dozens of security deadlines since Sept. 11
That article is almost a year old, so consider that when calculating just how badly this Administration has missed meeting these deadlines
As we've seen with the 9-11 attacks, and W's response to Katrina's immediate aftermath, "Protecting The US Public" is NOT a realistic objective when it comes to this President, Administration, GOP, or it's media whores & outlets
Let's give Rove what he wants, to run on W's National Security Record, it's the easiest strategy to show them both up as the liars they are

Exley, I can forgive you (barely) for being a Mets fan, but really - you don't see what all the fuss is about? A major news network peddling a "docudrama" that apparently contains major falsehoods, written by a guy who is an avowed conservative and wants to use Hollywood to promote "conservative values"; a film that was distributed in advance to Rush Limbaugh and right-wing bloggers, but not to the very people whom it attacks (Clinton, Berger, Albright) ... AND is being cross-promoted by Scholastic, Inc., which tries to solicit business from MY KIDS in MY SCHOOLS?
Sorry, friend, but your criticism of TP's "obsession" with this issue seems a bit, um, shrill. I suspect - and I don't mean to be presumptuous here - that you'd feel exactly the same way if Scholastic was peddling some left-wing diatribe to your kids. (And you'd be 100% right, by the way.)

Sorry, but that really chapped my butt!

Bill and Hillary Clinton are part of the Carlyle group, just like the Bushes are. The Carlyle Group is a war profiteering think tank. It is in Clinton's wallets best interest to have a boogey man.
Ever wonder why Clinton and daddy Bush are so good of friends now.
Do you forget George H. W. Bush's famous "New World Order" speech?
Bill Clinton is part of that New World Order.
Stop thinking of the government as being blue and red. It is more of a purple color.

The Military historians I know (and I know quite a few) were embarrassed by that movie. Disney likes to re-write history.....a lot. Anyone remember the old 1950's production "Swamp Fox" and "Davy Crockett"? COMPLETELY

Plunger, I too enjoy your posts. I don't believe it all but for damn sure the truth has been withheld or altered and by more than one or two individuals.
I am inclined to believe that OBL is tickled to have Bush in charge and will be waiting until after 2008, when a Democrate is in office and perhaps until 2009 and then he will unleash another attack. This will play very well for him in the US political climate. I believe that OBL's friends in the Taliban were not very happy with loosing control of Afgahnistan because of 911, but OBL has played the Neocons like a fiddle ever since.

September 7th, 2006 at 5:10 pm[...] A lot of people have been getting all worked up about ABC’s “The Path To 9/11” $30 million RNC contribution docudrama, claiming that it makes shit up in order to blame everything on Clinton. True, some of the people who are criticizing the miniseries were high-level counterterrorism officials in the Bush administration, and some wrote the official report on which the show claims to be based, and one was a terrorism expert hired to work on the production, but have any of them actually seen the show they are criticizing? Of course not - only Rush Limbaugh and right-wing bloggers have been allowed to see it! The movie was written and produced by a right-wing activist who fabricated key scenes to blame Democrats and defend Republicans. It’s so partisan that even Rush Limbaugh was surprised ABC decided to air it. And an FBI agent who was brought in to consult on the docudrama quit because, he said, “they were making things up.” [...]
September 8th, 2006 at 10:30 amWhat's surprising to me is that Disney's new largest shareholder, well-known for his support of democratic and Democratic principles, has not put a stop to this nonsense. I'm talking aobut Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs, who sold Pixar to Disney this year. Steve! Do the right thing! Stop this swift-boat garbage from soiling our airwaves!
September 8th, 2006 at 12:48 pmWhat about Thomas Keane, head of the 9/11 commission? He stayed with the project the entire time and he knows the situation better than anybody else.
September 8th, 2006 at 12:57 pmWhy is the credibility of ABC News on the line? They didn't have anything to do with this production. It was produced by the entertainment division of ABC. It's entertainment folks, not meant to be taken as fact in its entirety.
I didn't plan on watching the mini-series -- until the left-wing blogosphere exploded. If you don't want people to watch it, then sit down and shut up.

September 8th, 2006 at 1:51 pmABC CIA "Capital Cities"
It is a sign of how misquided, blind and just plain stupid way too many Americans really are that a recent poll showed that 47% still believe Saddam Hussein is responsible for the 911 attacks on the US.
September 8th, 2006 at 3:07 pmWake up America. Bush and his cronies are a bunch of war mongering capitalist that are killing American service people for their own wealth and political gain.
[...] I received this letter today from Move On, and the issue it brings to light is disgusting enough for me to print the entire thing below. All sources for this information are also linked below, lest any of you are prone to calling this “liberal lies”. My comments after the letter. Both of them after the break. September 8th, 2006 at 4:50 pmFor years Bush, Cheney and the neocons have been trying to sell America on the false premise that Iraq and al Queda were linked in the the 9/11 attacks, despite widespread knowledge to the contrary. Having failed, they now turn to ABC to provide a different spin: it was Clinton's fault. Pathetic!! Now, don't you feel really stupid for giving Bush a second term?
September 8th, 2006 at 5:27 pmDuh! Where has the outrage been all this time? Finally, some people are speaking up about the lies and the propaganda from the complicit corporate world of greed?
Here's why we wrote our latest editorial..... to finally say what has to be said about the media and its complicit whores and those who believe them:
JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN! (If you get your news from the mainstream media). Enjoy:

September 8th, 2006 at 5:31 pmWhat is it about today's conservatives? Whenever anything bad happens, they always seem to fall back to blaming Bill Clinton (or Hillary, for that matter). It seems to be a reflexive paranoid response to invoke their favorite bogeyman as the source of all evil. They don't seem to realize that it just won't wash anymore. For most of America, it's not even about Clinton any more, as he is no longer in office. It's about being lied to.

September 8th, 2006 at 6:49 pmWhat is it about today’s conservatives?
September 8th, 2006 at 7:27 pmThis is why I am not a Republican anymore -- or a conservative, for that matter. The neo-cons have abandoned their principles (yes, they had them) for power and and corruption. It is sad, it is destroying our political culture, and it is leading America down the path to Empire -- as if that is a glorious, never-ending achievement. We reap this whirlwind as others did before us.
Please do not air this movie. If you do I will boycott any Disney or ABC affiliates. I will also encourage all my family and friends to do the same. How much is the republican party and George W's gang paying you to air their talking points rather then the truth. On your ABC Sunday morning news show - you have changed your memorial for the lost soldiers of the week. George S started out number that had died that week and the number of names the pentagon has release. Now he only says the pentagon has released the following names. Won’t they let you tell the complete truth? Shame on Disney and shame on ABC.
September 8th, 2006 at 8:35 pmAnyone who read Bamford's "A Pretext for War" should know he tried to tell the world what was going on a long time ago. That was one of the most informative books I've ever read about the Bush Administration's lies to promote this illegal war. Read it if you haven't already. He reported, at the time, ground breaking news no one else had the balls to report.
September 8th, 2006 at 10:10 pmLet's be clear about this. I worked on the project and closely with the FBI agent--Tom Nicoletti- who "advised" us. He's a psycho. He quit, thankfully, before any scenes involving serious FBI material was shot. His replacement, a respected agent, told us stories of Tom's rogue behavior when he was an agent. Apparently, Tom had one desire--to kill someone. At some point he got his wish. Tom did not quit half way through the project--he did so after two weeks because no one was paying attention to him. Why??? Because we weren't shooting FBI scenes!!!!
Everyone seems to want a piece of this show--Democrats, Rebublicans, Barbarba Bodine, a psychotic ex-FBI agent. The truth is--two administrations screwed up. The intelligence community screwed up. A lot of people died. Stop trying to lay blame and take some responsibility. That is the point of the show. And anyone who hasn't seen the entire show has no right to make a comment on it.
Finally, Bamford should look deep into his soul if he calls Tom Nicoletti a friend.
September 9th, 2006 at 12:12 amWow! So much extraneous discussion of a little movie about the recreation of an event contrived to appear real wrong. What kind of nihilistic little minds would conspire to depict the human race in so incompetent a light? Hmmm, must be those darned cornunists hell bent on turning the world into a peoples republic of cornrades! I think I'll watch a factual mockumentary like "This is Spinal Tap" for some real intelligence. A whole lot less cornfusing. Thing about it...
September 9th, 2006 at 2:45 am"One thing ABC doesn't need to worry about: advertiser defections. Net decided to air the five-hour mini sans commercials after failing to find an appropriate sponsor for the project" (Daily Variety, Sept. 5).
This is all you need to know about ABC's intentions. Follow the money. This is costings them millions, in loss of advertising sales and in the cost of the production itself. And companys just don't do that unless they have a different sort of agenda - one other than it's stated intention of making its stockholders money. Just follow the money trail...
September 9th, 2006 at 8:26 amABC - Shame on you for giving the American public a mini-series about 9-11 that is not true. Anything that Rush L. or Karl R. are involved in, I would not trust. My name is above.

September 10th, 2006 at 11:06 amDoes anyone know which companies will be advertising during the showing of "Path to 9/11"?
I've already told Disney & ABC that I and all my friends and family will be boycotting their advertisers.
We need to get that information out, so people can boycott anyone associated with this mess.
Thanks for any info!

September 11th, 2006 at 12:43 pmwhere is the controversy?
the public has been riding on the liberal media train for generations. the fact that Bill Clinton had Afafat waiting on him while he was "in conference" with Monica. This is abosolute treason. The world's leading terrist on hold while Bill is pleasuring himself. Think about the ramifications? The fact is is that Clinton led this country down a path where retaliation against Bin Laden became mixed and a political quamire. The movie characterizes Clinton as a coward. Very bold statement, yet it is an opinion, one in which I tend to agree. CLINTON IS A COWARD. The neo-cons have not demonstrated treason and the fact that FBI consultants resigned is because the movie didn't fit into thier political parameters.
September 13th, 2006 at 1:06 pmWhat about the recent " threats "by obl and others to expect another attack in america?Could this be the workings of the neocons to bolster their election results?
September 13th, 2006 at 6:33 pmI ecpect that the possibility of another "attack" may be hieghtened near the Nov election date.
The carrying out of a" terrorist" operation near the election date would increase the republican chances of pulling off a majority win, totally against all odds.my advice ?"Duck you sucker"(ref to old movie about pancho via.)
this is where today's politics bafflles me........
the fact that OBL is threatening America is a neo-con plot to seek reelection?????
how about opening your eyes and see that a terrorist is making threats and it doesn't matter who is in office?
this is known as the tail wagging the dog. OBL would like nothing better than to think that his decision making process is able to effect America's politics. Why would anyone give a terrorist that much power???? You have fallen right into the hands of OBL. Be proud, you are part of what is going to destroy a democratic society.

September 24th, 2006 at 9:49 pmWe're living in a post-coup d'etat regime - ever since the shooting of JFK. Both parties are afraid of the the third party - a military-intelligence bunch who will stop at nothing. They show their hand occasionally - as in 911 - to demonstrate who's really in charge. Then Dems and Repubs fall all over themselves attempting to cover up evidence of who really did it. ...Read THE PLOT TO SEIZE THE WHITE HOUSE,by Jules Archer. Business and banking interests tried to take over during Roosevelt's regime. General Smedley Butler tried to expose the plot but was rebuffed by congress.. . . Get used to whispering to your neighbor. Does it really matter whether you have a democracy when you have plenty of WalMarts and Carl's Junior? We'll do 1984 better than the Soviet Union. We'll be enslaved and even like it. . . . "V"
