Ok this is my last try to post something here again. I’m going through a proxy to test if my IP has been blocked or something from thinkprogress.org as I can’t seem to post anymore even with a different ID.
If this works, it means my IP has been blocked. I’ve no clue why TP admins have decided this course of action when they let several known trolls keep posting their crap here and the majority of mine actually try to contribute something and so on.
Well, guess I can see why Worfeus ended up leaving with arbitrary/faulty system like this. Just wanted to say thanks to all, was good while it lasted and remember: Blind unquestioning support for your party (be it Repub or Dem) is a very dangerous thing and not what the founding fathers had in mind. Even less so blind unquestioning support of whoever is currently in power.
Ah… “truthiness”… I’d forgotten about that… why, your’re right! Biff… everything is just ducky here in our little christian cult kingdom we’ve created for ourselves…
In the time-honoured Register tradition of offering terrorists top tips* on how to bring down airliners, we’d like this afternoon to draw al-Qaeda’s attention to two possible ways of getting binary liquid explosives through security: gel-filled bras and KY Jelly.
Both, according to the US’s Transport Security Administration list, are permitted items…
So let’s help the Bush Cabal further restrict our liberties by uncovering new ways of terrorizing all Amerikans. It’s not just a job, it’s our duty!
‘And it shall come to pass that those spreading mistruths shall have a day of reckoning. And on that day the liars and those cloaking actions in the name of Jesus will answer to a power greater than ever imagined. Yea, I say unto you, do not make false accusations as truth. -Profiticus 2:19
I’m outraged about what Disney (ABC’s parent company) is doing by broadcasting the bullshit docudrama “The Path to 9/11.†Let’s be proactive and EMAIL them and let them know what we think! Personal emails are best, individually emailed out one at a time…more likely to get through spam filters and the like. Give your thoughts a voice and let Disney know what you think of companies that profit off of this sort of demagogy.
Some of the film’s big moments are based on bogus myths that have long since been debunked, and the docudrama itself was written by an outspoken conservative activist.
In the latest developments:
–Richard Clarke, the former counterterrorism czar, is helping set the record straight and correcting fabricated stories included in the movie.
–ABC has ended its online discussion of the film by yanking the blog it created for the project.
–A number of high-profile conservative bloggers received preview copies of “The Path to 9/11″ last week, which seems like an odd step for ABC to take if the docudrama is supposed to be an “objective telling” of the events.
–According to Variety, ABC, which is now airing the movie without commercial interruptions, is “sending 100,000 high school educators a letter from 9/11 Commission co-chair Tom Kean informing them of the various platforms on which the mini is available. ABC and Scholastic have partnered to produce an online study guide. [Call and send an email to Scholastic Books to protest the student resource guide they created to go along with the movie. Apparently they've taken down some of their materials, but it's still unclear where they stand on this issue. Key emails: rrobinson@scholastic.com, investor_relations@scholastic.com, news@scholastic.com.]
What we must be very afraid of is the presentation of lies as truth. What we must be very afraid of is someone telling us we’re “safer” when our boarders are wide open. What we must be very afraid of is the loss of our constitutional rights.
Finally, what we must fear is FEAR ITSELF! FEARFUL SEPTEMBER will backfire on the GOP because they’ve gone to that well so much that the well is dry.
Yes, americans are very afraid….and the proverbial boogeyman is the small man behind the curtain….remember Oz? Looking familiar??
Well, could not we go further back in our time machine and ask:
What the hell did George Bush I do to stop Osama? I mean why not do that? He had the whole middle east in his grubby little hands back in 1991, so why not take him out right then either?
Now HERE is a concept for y’all,
It has struck me that this “non-issue” (really if you think about all the treason this admin is doing, this is a non-issue) is REALLY the DLC re-asserting itself as the controller of ALL things Democrat.
I mean it is all a Clinton (+administration) face saving thing that now supposedly ALL god Dems come to the aid of their “fearless leader.” Well, it really is sapping our “vig” on other more important issues.
So, I have stayed outside the blogosphere on this one, except for the few phone calls to ABC radio to gnash my teeth on the air, with the likes of Levin (the Zionist) and the new idiot (Jerry) last night taking over Laura Ingram’s 8-10 slot in the NY ABC market.
Screw Disney and ABC, they were the next to fall to the nazis after Fox anyway, everyone knew that. I believe that ABC is also stirring the pot to get all good Dems back into the DLC fold, as Hilary was starting to get REALLY antsy at the calls to debate Tasini and with Lamont, and the Screw the DLC push happening as of late, I feel this is the motive for the over-hype of this non-issue.
This all just another Corporate-control of our sense of “what is important.”
Oh, so what? All those ivory tower, latte-drinking intellectual snobs are only concerned about facts. What do they know about truthiness?

September 8th, 2006 at 2:17 pm2 – you give yourself too much credit. The servers are on overload cause TP is one of the clearinghouses for the data on the whole 9/11 snafu.
Take a chill pill. Enjoy your day.
September 8th, 2006 at 2:18 pmI am amazed that ABC & Disney have not yet pulled this partisan p.o.s.
I keep coming back to TP, expecting to see the announcement that “THe Path” has been blocked.
Nada.
BTW, Go Back to Sleep America
TP is overloaded. Posts take forever to get through. Some not at all. Just like David Soul would say,

Why do The Facts hate America?

e five,
Why does Disney and ABC have such little regard for the tragedy of 9-11?
