hey, can't blame a soul for trying. I haven't managed to get through on the reward yet, but when if do I will share. I am posting under my real name so not doing would be a bit expensive.

It's funny that I, as a liberal, am thus far the only person I know of to have tried to claim Michael Moore's reward. Of course, the fact that Liberals don't have to lie in order to make the Republicans look bad, is kind of a bit of an unfair advantage I admit.

Good for him. You liberals/progressives/lefties are pathetic. After all the cr@p, lies, distortions, half truths, and slander conservatives have had to deal with from Hollywood (Farenheit 9/11, Bowling for Columbine, The Reagans, JFK, not to mention liberal screeds like The American President and The Contender), it's hard to take you guys seriously when you clamour for fairness and/or accuracy. You are the most closed minded, hypocritical bunch of people out there. You're the equivilants of a pro-life preachers who pays for his mistress to have an abortion. Pathetic.

Just wondering about the joff the wall camera work in this film. Is it meant to purposely distract the rational critical thinking mind so this BS can be dumped right into the psyche (sub-conscious) of those who passively watch it? It seems there is already enough brain washing of the American public already going on.

So what Mr. Lehman seems to be suggesting a kind of perversion of the golden rule: Do unto liberals as they do unto you. This smacks a bit too much of little kids on the schoolyard in which every perceived offense is returned in kind.

Still, no matter what "liberals" may say about the Bushites, it pales in comparison to the hate-filled rantings of Ann Coulter, high priestess of the neocons. And if one tunes in to ABC talk radio's flagship New York City station one can hear Clinton villified ad nauseum and blamed for everything from the current deficit to a rise in bedbugs in hotel rooms.

They may say what they want about Clinton, but he did not mislead us into a war, a war which has taken thousands of American lives, as welll as the lives of Iraq civilians, will cost us nearly a trillion dollars, by some conservative estimates, as has managed to destroy a country. All to satisfy Bush and Cheney's desire to strut militantly through the Muslim world.

Did you see the rating s for P 2 9/11 everyone? It came in second place to tie a rerun. LMAO, pretty funny stuff, huh?

Hey eyesore, you should of probably been calling all your neocon friends last night to make sure they were going to be watching instead of wasting all your time on here last night posting your jibberish.

Here's an idea.....do your calling tonight. Please spare us, we know who you are and what your all about.

When people spoke of Clinton having been offered bin laden by Sudan, Al Franken for instance (in his book even) said it never happened.

But Clinton himself acknowledged it: (AUDIO LINK BELOW)

"The Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again," Clinton confirmed during a February 2002 speech to a New York business group.

"They released him. At the time, 1996, he had committed no crime against America so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America."

(perhaps he was unaware that bin Laden was named in a NY indictment for involvement in the 1993 WTC bombing?)

FAHRENHEIT 9/11: "On March 19th, 2003, George W. Bush and the United States military invaded Iraq, which had never attacked or threatened to attack the United States. A nation that had never murdered a single American citizen."

"Iraq has never threatened nor been implicated in any attack against U.S. territory and the CIA has reported no Iraqi-sponsored attacks against American interests since 1991." Stephen Zunes, "An Annotated Overview of the Foreign Policy Segments of President George W. Bush’s State of the Union Address," Foreign Policy In Focus, January 29, 2003. Segments of President George W. Bush’s State of the Union Address," Foreign Policy In Focus, January 29, 2003

"Iraq never threatened U.S.security. Bush officials cynically attacked a villainous country because they knew it was easier than finding the real 9/11 villain, who had no country. And now they're hoist on their own canard." Maureen Dowd, "We’re Not Happy Campers," The New York Times, September 11, 2003.

"Iraq never threatened the US, let alone Australia. The basic consideration was and remains the perception of America's wider strategic interest in the Middle East." Richard Woolcott, "Thread bare Basis To The Homespun Yarn That Led Us Into Iraq," Sydney Morning Herald, November 26, 2003—(Woolcott was Australia’s Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs And Trade during the first Gulf War.)
For definition of murder of civilians (as opposed to combatants), see Article 3 of the Geneva Convention . ("For persons taking no active part in the hostilities, the following acts are and shall remain prohibited at any time (a) Violence to life and person, in particular murder of all kinds.")

You are right, the statement is in there, but I am not entirely sure he hasn't covered himself there. That said, I am emailing him to ask him where one can send queries about the reward.

Guys guys, I really do not want to get into the merits of M Moore vs the ABC movie. I really am not positive whether everything is absolutely factual or not. What I do know is that I'm sure it would be hard for a guy like M. Moore to make a political movie (being as politically slanted as he is) and not overlook some facts, or in essence, pick and choose the facts that represent his cause. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, I just find it hard to believe.

Bruce, I find that interesting that both candidates pursued a path of litigation that was detrimental to their winning. Like I said, I didn't remember things exactly, I was going on memory. obviously my memory isn't as trustworthy as it used to be. I agree, Moore could have "overstated" his case on that one... probably not an outright lie. Just a misinterpretation. Kinda like the one in the "Path To 9/11"? jk

The reason why I figure it was a mistake, rather then a outright lie.

FAHRENHEIT 9/11: Gore got the most votes in 2000.

[A] consortium [Tribune Co., owner of the Times; Associated Press; CNN; the New York Times; the Palm Beach Post; the St. Petersburg Times; the Wall Street Journal; and the Washington Post] hired the NORC [National Opinion Research Center, a nonpartisan research organization affiliated with the University of Chicago] to view each untallied ballot and gather information about how it was marked. The media organizations then used computers to sort and tabulate votes, based on varying scenarios that had been raised during the post-election scramble in Florida. Under any standard that tabulated all disputed votes statewide, Mr. Gore erased Mr. Bush's advantage and emerged with a tiny lead that ranged from 42 to 171 votes. Donald Lambro, “Recount Provides No Firm Answers,” Washington Times, November 12, 2001.

“The review found that the result would have been different if every canvassing board in every county had examined every undervote, a situation that no election or court authority had ordered. Gore had called for such a statewide manual recount if Bush would agree, but Bush rejected the idea and there was no mechanism in place to conduct one.” Martin Merzer, “Review of Ballots Finds Bush's Win Would Have Endured Manual Recount,” Miami Herald, April 4, 2001.
See also, the following article by one of the Washington Post journalists who ran the consortium recount. The relevant point is made in Table I of the article. http://www.aei.org/docLib/20040526_KeatingPaper.pdf

The second example I would call a mistake. The first however, I would say that there is a strong case there for calling that a lie. Currently searching Google to see how I can go about claiming that reward... (Hey, I'm a lefty, I have a certain mercenary aspect.)

Bruce, I beg to differ with you but Moore also claimed that Gore won Florida after all the recounts. Whereas a group of newspapers, including the N.Y. Times, concluded after their own investigations that Bush did win Florida in 2000. (I think they said Bush won 6 of the 7 recounts scenarios, or maybe it was 5 of 7. My memory is getting vaguer on that one, but I do recall someone saying that Gore could not have won even after the "hanging chads" incident.) I would say that's an outright lie... wouldn't you?

Umm, just a point here, with coachjason's post I have been thinking about it, and that sounds a lot like Mike was indeed lying. Does anybody know where I can send that to claim the $10,000.00 reward? Just figuring its worth a shot.

...and this on Sandy Berger...
"The deal's terms make clear that Berger spoke falsely last summer in public claims that in 2003 he twice inadvertently walked off with copies of a classified document during visits to the National Archives, then later lost them.

He described the episode last summer as "an honest mistake." Yesterday, a Berger associate who declined to be identified by name but was speaking with Berger's permission said: "He recognizes what he did was wrong. . . . It was not inadvertent." "

Remember this:
"Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger, a former White House national security adviser, plans to plead guilty to a misdemeanor, and will acknowledge intentionally removing and destroying copies of a classified document about the Clinton administration's record on terrorism."

...and Clinton wouldn't lie either would he..."I did not have sex with that woman..."
