As we spend a moment recalling what happened five years ago, our leaders want us to let them drift into the realm of legend and myth alongside Davy Crockett and the Alamo as presented by the Disney Corporation. Who better to provide the gauzy dreamlike vision they see of themselves as American heroes defending the whole idea of being an American. Disney is very good at translating fantasy into tangible, marketable products. I expect a whole new line of Condi dolls and Rumsfeld action figures by Christmas—and sequels too.
