Geez louise! Just look at the photos. These are nearly all white rallies with only a few token minorities in them. It is disgraceful. I can’t see how any minority would pose with this racist.
OK so you’ve been on the campaign trail and these are the “only and best” ethnic shots you got. So it seems as if Allen does really avoid minorities, and this is the proof.
Hahaha! I just finished looking through his whole gallery at the Ethnic Rally. There are like 10x as many white people in the background as the photo-op token non-white people. It’s really amusing how they couldn’t even take pictures that didn’t have so many white people in the background. That’s just sad. I wouldn’t post pictures when it’s that obvious how staged the whole thing is.
Is this along the line of someone who just slammed someone for being a different race and then saying “But I’m not rascist. Some of my friends are black.” Hey Mr Allen, your fly is open and your little rascist is showing.
There is always some token Black guy that will help Republicans > do not ask me why? Even some Jews helped Hitler, so just call minorities who help the GOP brainless nuts!
There’s a related diary on Daily Kos today entitled “George Allen Was Against Immigrants Before He Was For Them.”
The diary contrasts the “ethnic rally” with what the Council of Conservative Citizens, a white supremacist group endorsed by Allen, has to say about non-Europeans coming to the U.S. The diary is at: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/9/12/111532/014
#7 – So did I! What a pathetic moron.
I have real trouble believing that this is the son of one the best football coaches ever. Even when George Sr was coaching Long Beach, they rocked.
This guy must be the black (no pun intended) sheep of the family.
Do these racist morons also have racist morons running their campaigns? Do they put out “casting calls” for photo ops?
Do they ever consider that they might look as desperate as they really are?
One can’t change the way an entire lifetime has been conducted to fit into an election campaign. Allen was brought up a raciist, he is a racist, his life, his clubs, his friends, his associates all are rife with racism – now he and his managers think a false photo will change the minds of some voters?
What an insult.
In a similar vein, Tommy Tancredo spoke at a League of the South function. Seems those secessionists love him. I do believe he bit off more than he can chew. Political suicide.
#22, you’re right. “Ethnic rally” sounds pretty racist to me. That and clearly a desperate move. I don’t see how anyone who knows Allen’s history and saw the video can conclude anything other than this man is a blantant racist.

September 12th, 2006 at 12:52 pmOh my god. This has got to be someone hacking his website. That is just too awful.
September 12th, 2006 at 1:00 pmThis is a sure sign of desperation. After the MTP debate next week, Webb will wrap it up.

September 12th, 2006 at 1:10 pmMighty ‘white’ of him. Don’t bother, mister, you have been exposed. Loser.
September 12th, 2006 at 1:10 pmYeah, vote for Allen, he steals all the best legislation, and puts his signature on it just for you. /snark

September 12th, 2006 at 1:24 pmSegregation in your political rallies much?
September 12th, 2006 at 1:26 pmHey, maybe George Allen should try this as his new campaign song:
I’m macaca, you’re macaca,
September 12th, 2006 at 1:27 pmHe’s macaca, she’s macaca
We’re macaca … wouldn’t you like to be macaca, too …

September 12th, 2006 at 1:41 pmMaybe he won’t get re-elected, that would be a positive for our country.
September 12th, 2006 at 1:47 pmIt’s sad – but more funny – how George Allen’s life is resembling Stephen Colbert’s art.

Oh my f*cking god, Sen Allen….STOP DIGGING!
Too funny….
September 12th, 2006 at 3:40 pmAllen will now foist this as evidence he’s not a racist, that he held a ‘macaca’ rally as proof.

Is it just me who thinks “Ethnic Rally” sounds really racist?
September 12th, 2006 at 10:15 pmSounds like a Klan meeting.

September 12th, 2006 at 11:50 pmJames Webb staffers responded by holding a “Monkey Fest”:
