Damn, where’s that little box of paper mask’s the gov. told us to wear, the masking tape and plastic window covering are in that box….Crap I can’t see well enough to find them……
Heard a few day’s ago this is the worst fire season in over 50 year’s…Hummmmm. bull shit bush must be playing with matches again..Blessings
Record wildfire season may be link to global warning>—and to the states’ National Gurad and reservists that are consigned in that Big Fat Lie known as the Iraq war.
The article “Bad fire year despite lack of big one†by Kirk Johnson makes the case for wildfires raging out of control in the Midwest. As of last week 7.1 million acres went up in smoke. Regardless whether the heat wave is “complex and diffuse†one simple explanation was not mentioned in the article: the absent of the National Guard. Mr. Johnson point out the causes such as the heat waves shattering 2,300 records across the country; the expanding of dry grasses and the early evaporating of spring snow. But not one word of the National Guard. The absent of the Guard is just as important as the destructive heat wave. Two years ago our nation governors arrived in Seattle, Washington to complain to senior Pentagon officials that they were facing severe manpower shortages in fighting wildfires. The Iraq war brought focus to their conference of why half of their Guard was sent to Iraq while their states were burning. Their concern was if they didn’t have the personnel to put them out the fires they will grow into “catastrophic fires.†You know, the “Big One.†Now that what I consider a significant cause for our runaway wildfires.
I predicted this fire season during last winter, it totally sucked, no snowpack to speak of. I count myself lucky this year in the forests of AZ, we almost had a catostrophic wildfire sweep through the city, but with some luck and some damn good firefighting, we made it unscathed. I feel for those who are dealing with fires in their areas, the smoke totally degrades the quality of life during the time it is present.
We are not out of the woods so to speak, AZ had the second largest wildfire in US recorded history a couple years ago, 450,000 acres, Rodeo-Chedeski fire. And drought conditions continue. They say this year is an El-Nino year, which is good for the Southwest and bad for the Northwest, Sorry Zooey.
Archeologists have discovered evidence that neandertal Democrats were burning too many bras, but considering these bras were made of rock they didn’t burn too well, so that theory was de-bunked.
But I should note that same team of archeologists did discover an ancient race of skeleton people.
[…] Being in insurance as I am, when we have a record wildfire season I notice. Scientists have linked it to Global Warming, but the media is ignoring the story. Why is that? […]
No shit….*cough*

Archeologists have discovered evidence that neandertal Democrats were burning too many bras, but considering these bras were made of rock they didn’t burn too well, so that theory was de-bunked.
