Burns next target in Abramoff probe?
“A source close to the investigation told TIME that scores of US prosecutors and FBI agents continue to examine the activities of other sitting members of Congress and prominent individuals who could face prosecution, though not necessarily before the November 7 election. The source confirmed previous public reports that particular scrutiny is being paid to Sen. Conrad Burns, a Montana Republican who faces a tough campaign for reelection.”

September 15th, 2006 at 8:17 pmwe need a count on how many of these prosecutions are being delayed due to the governor in the respective states, and their likelihood of replacing an indicted congressperson with someone favorable to the GOP, or do the Demo’s. It might give us another serious look at how the players are fixing elections not in the public view as a rule
Since only the guilty know all the facts, we may have, as an example, 20 congresspeons that are about to be indicted, and will have to give up their terms in office. donkeys or elephants no matter, but place this in context to the appointer (decider) in that state
we are very likely to see this play out in a major way during impeachment trials. we may see indictments start every couple weeks before too long, for major political figures. Some may get re elected and then jailed, so it will be a fascinating piece of theater
BUT, there is a method to the madness, they tried hard after nixon resigned, and guess who got pardoned? What if the RNC is putting together legal funds for Jerry Lewis and the ones that can crush them if they talk?
I hope someone can take on this investigation for the sake of democracy. it does appear our military is about finished with the puppet and his dog, and there is much hope that they will not answer the call to martial law.

well, i can tell you, it is a heated debate. anti-burns spots on t.v every other commercial. he held a rally at the depot and about 20 people showed up and they’re all over the age of 70 from what i could see. everywhere he goes, booooos are heard. hate slogans are spewed. burns has no chance, hope i didn’t speak to soon.
