… and the Bush Cabal is counting on the Iraqis forgetting about their role in bringing the trebuchet out of China, correcting it’s design problems, and unleashing the War Engine into Europe, right? Feche’ la Vache!
Of all the silly ideas… why doesn’t the US just leave… this farce is unfortunately not very funny…
Hey, maybe they can fill the trenches with water and have a moat! No one from the 21st century will ever figure out how to get past that.
This plan sounds like it came down from the “W” man himself.
The perfect project for bull shit bush and his crew, give them all shovels, ship their butt’s over there and fill the planes with troop;s coming home..Blessings…..Peace, store and hord gasoline while the price is down, it will raise again before turkey day, you can bet on it.

You are so optimistic, our “blessed” one. You’ve got Thanksgiving in the “when do gas prices hit $3 again poll”. I’ll take November 10 if Republicans lose one of the houses of Congress or agree with you on Thanksgiving if they retain control.

$2.84 !! Sorry for that, as I paid $2.07 last week and today it’s around $2.29 in Ohio. OK, maybe that poll needs to be the “hit the 2006 high again” poll!
I am so glad someone picked up on this. I’ve been too busy to write something for DailyKos.com.
Isn’t digging a moat the final desparate act that you do in a horror movie? Just before the alien hoards come sweeping out of the West to kill everyone?
So sad this is not a movie. I’d like to see Bush and Cheney build their own prison or better yet dig all the graves for all the people killed by their hatred.
Hay, Walt and all, have one of those cutsie bumper stickers.. “Come the Rapture I get you’re car”, right next to ” Doing my part to piss off the right”. Had my eye on ( lusting after a cute BMW Convertible) for awhile…LOL..Can’t afford the gas but I can dream..
PLC, just a reminder to every one, lest they forget come election time this bunch is just screwing with us as usual…….Blessings
I wonder how many of our tax dollars are going to be used for this asinine trench that is part three in the Together Forward operation. parts one and two turned out really well, not. 130 dead in two days. I think they might have to dig a trench around the white house pretty soon.
Who came up with the stupid trench idea? If it was Rumsfeld, then he must resign for sheer stupidity > trench defenses went out with WWI, so the Pentagon is filled with dumb Generals > no wonder Iraq is a mess!
Another bump in the road.

Because it worked so well in the backyard battles we fought as children, this tactic has the “GI JOE” seal of approval. Sgt. Rock would also appove.

September 15th, 2006 at 5:26 pmDigging trenches is the answer! Provided they dig them down to the 12th level of hell.

I’m afraid my first thought on reading this was “So that’s what they’re going to call mass graves”…
I’m not sure what is worse, the fact that I thought that or the fact that I don’t think it’s impossilbe for it to be the real reason.

I’m confused. How does trenches help the security situation? Doesn’t one just build a bridge over it?
And can you really circle a city of that size with trenches?
Bush MUST have dreamt this one up himself…..

A marooh Honda made it to the 2nd floor of an apt building, hitting a berm.
September 15th, 2006 at 6:08 pmKind of symbolic of the whole undertaking, just keep digging.
Or if all else fails just dig a trench, if anything you can burn off some frustration.
