Currently, Senate candidates don’t have to file their campaign finance reports electronically, meaning that “voters can’t effectively find out how much and from whom their would-be senators have collected money until long after the election — too late for them to act.” Bloggers from the right and left have started a campaign to change that. Get the details at DailyKos.

They don’t want there information clogging up the “tubes” of the “Internets”
September 18th, 2006 at 2:53 pmIf we want to bring the Senate into the 21st Century, first we have to get rid of all the old blowhards and idiots that think the “internets” are run on “tubes”, that still talk about the South winning the Civil War, that can make it through meetings without falling asleep cause they missed their granpappy nappy time, etc.
September 18th, 2006 at 3:22 pmBefore we “bring the Senate into the 21st century”, shouldn’t we finish bringing it into the 20th century?
September 18th, 2006 at 4:06 pmGood idea, but the Senate acts like they are barons from the 17th/18th centuries > lol. Most Senators do not even bother to represent average Americans > they just work for the wealthy elite and the Military-Industrial-Complex CEOs! All the GOP Senators must be kicked out and about half of the Democrat Senators as well! Clean out that nest of snakes!
September 18th, 2006 at 6:19 pmThe Senate might as well give in now, because this is going to happen.
