Too funny, Uncle Ho.

My dad was a Marine for about 4 years, but he said he had to switch over to the Navy when the Marines found out his parents were married.

Is that true...? :)

Hiya Zooey; I guess that gives the term 'going postal' a new dimension. Then again, when I was with the Marines, I know for a fact, the outfit I was with used (I shit you not) used a pair of boxer shorts for the coffee filter. Knowing them, it probably was NOT a clean pair either.

Hi Uncle Ho,

Don't worry, no one ever asks me to make coffee twice! I don't drink the stuff, so I have no idea how to make it.

If someone pisses me off (heh), I just tell them. I don't get that passive/aggressive crap.

Zooey, you might want to rethink on joining the postal service. on the news this morning, a worker just got a jail sentence for adding his urine in the coffee pot for his co-workers. Not sure if it was the postal service though. Anyone else catch this story?

Your poll is useless and completely misleading. It indicates that there will be an equal number of votes cast for each party. However, that is not the case. For example there are 400 +/- seats in the House of Representatives up for election. In the extreme there could be 399 Democrats elected by only one vote and the last race decided by the rest of the voters with one vote in favor of the Republican. So without reference to the individual districts your information is worthless--just as worthless as the right-wing trollcrap you spread about this Blog.

Still more good news from Gallup today for the GOP:

"The poll also showed likely voters evenly divided between Democratic and Republican candidates for Congress, 48%-48%."

Yet more good news from Gallup for Bush and GOP congressional candidates:

<em>"It is clear that congressional candidates who support Bush on the terror issue may have an advantage over those who don't</em>. By a 19-point margin, registered voters say they are more likely to vote for a candidate for Congress who supports Bush on terrorism (43%), rather than a candidate who opposes him (24%)."

Women are “generally paid less and promoted more slowly, receive fewer honors, and hold fewer leadership positions” than men in similar high-level science, math, and engineering jobs in the United States, according to a new National Academies report.

More good news from Gallup:

"President Bush's job approval rating has risen to 44%. Americans have become more positive about the war on terror. Voters are more likely to support a candidate who backs Bush on terrorism rather than one who opposes him. By a slight margin, Americans tend to think the country will be safer if the GOP retains control of the House."

…Lincoln only started the Civil War…
