Conservative activists Grover Norquist and Ralph Reed,

who both have extensive ties to criminal lobbyist Jack Abramoff, “landed more than 100 meetings inside the Bush White House, according to documents released Wednesday that provide the first official accounting of the access and influence the two presidential allies have enjoyed.”

Will the scandals ever stop? The Republicans must realize that they must impeach or lose the Legislative branch.

  2. Dick says:

I know of three,, four people that would approve of those very crooks right now..isn’t that right Kevin, Paul, Roger_Roger and Jason?

  3. Republicans are the fear and smear party says:

WOO HOO!! Shades of President Nixon!!

  4. Dick says:

The GOP has perfected scandalous behaviour, just make it so widespread that nobody cares anymore.

“Huh, what? who cares? why bother…aren’t they all just crooks anyway?”

Maybe Grover and Ralph can be bunk buddies in the big house?

  7. Republicans are the fear and smear party says:

White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said that Norquist’s is “one of a number of individuals who worked to advance fiscal responsibility, which is one of the key aspects of the president’s agenda,” Perino said.

    “fiscal responsibility”? LOL!!!

Corruption in politics – there is a new story every week.
Racist and ignorant politicians – there is a story every week.

People are outraged at first, then the story passes, until the next one.
Will all these stories begin to have a ho-hum effect on the general public?

We see the crooked politicians defended by their friends, and interviewed favorably on TV (Matthews / Delay for example). It’s enough to cause people to throw away their vote, thereby perpetuating the scenario.

The worst of the bunch are scot-free — Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove.

  9. budpaul says:

Let’s hope after Dems get control of congress this fall, we spend the next two years watching bush go down in the flames of his corruption.

  10. Dick says:

you write pretty good budpaul [your blog],,,

    unlike me =(

  11. ChuckLA says:

No need for anyone to worry according to the lovely white house spokeswoman –

“Norquist’s meetings might have been directly with Karl Rove, the president’s longtime confidant and political strategist.

“He is one of a number of individuals who worked to advance fiscal responsibility, which is one of the key aspects of the president’s agenda,” Perino said.”

This is no longer funny, it’s diabolical. The adminstration that gave us the worst deficits in history has the hubris to say that its ok for a couple of crooks to visit the White House because they were helping balance the budget?!

    Impeach now.

  12. midwestblue says:

Ol’ Grover “Drown the Common People in the Bathtub” Norquist? Sure! He was their neocon domestic finance adviser, wasn’t he? And Ralphie “Slots” Reed! Why, the fun times they must have had with the Rover-boy!

  13. JPark says:

Is Grover still relevant? No, I didn’t think so.

  14. ataxonamerica says:

Imagine! people actually wanting to keep more of the money they earn than just handing it over to the government for more “programs”? the nerve of some people.
    you PCP folks are funny!

  15. Zooey says:

    ataxonamerica,

yeah, silly programs like the military, Homeland Security, the war on terrah, Social Security. Yeah! I hate that sh*t!

What does your comment have to do with Norquist & Reed getting all chummy and cuddly at the White House?

Must be the PCP talking, eh?

  16. JPark says:

Jeez, just think of people who actually want a healthy economy so more people can prosper instead of having a permanent underclass. WOW!!!

  17. walter+66 says:

didn’t Jeff Gannon/Jim Gukert also visit the WH numerous times?

  18. ataxonamerica says:

dummy PCP is YOU- politically correct progressives- they are the ones that cause brain damage.
geez to think tht if people worked instead of being supported by a welfare state nanny government and using all kinds of lame excuse and blaming otehr people for their ineptitiude and stupidity then we might not have to pay taxes on damn near everything.
if you want to pay more taxes be my guest but don’t ask me to pay more becaue I won’t and avoid doing so daily.

  19. Zooey says:

    ataxonamerica,

That’s lovely, atax, call me a dummy, but don’t address anything I said, except the PCP joke. Maybe you could buy a sense of humor with all that money you’re hoarding.

What makes you think progressives or liberals don’t work? I wonder where I go every day between 8 & 5? I wonder who pays my wages? Oh yeah, taxpayers — thanks atax, you’re the greatest.

  20. ForTruth says:

I want to tax the shit out of as much people as possible, and btw, that’s the first thing Dems will do. In fact, Dems will start inviting the entire population of Latin America to the US and give them anything they want, and when they die, we will continue to stuff their dead corpses with food stamps and Section 8 housing vouchers.

  21. ForTruth says:

Back on topic. I was hoping for a White House connection with Abramoff. Yup we are back to him and shit is coming home to roost.

Don’t try and tell me the influence of what Abramoff represented did not have ties with the White House. What’s that, rollin’ on the floor laughin’ my ass off.

  22. Zeke says:

Is this the same Abramoff that Bush swore he had NEVER met? Of course that was before he said he may have met him at a function but didn’t remember any specifics.

What a lying sack of shit! I swear to God, I would give the bastard a blowjob if I knew it would result in him being impeached!

Of course I would bite the nasty thing off and shove it up his ass so that he could get a real good feel for what he’s been doing to the American people for six years!

Talk about taking one for the team! Send me in coach!

Someone else will have to blow Cheney…even I have my limits!

  23. Jay+Randal says:

Zeke I think Bush did Jeff Gannon, since Jeff says he is a TOP only > lol.

  24. Zooey says:

when they die, we will continue to stuff their dead corpses with food stamps and Section 8 housing vouchers.

Now there’s a visual for you, America.

Thanks Truth, I gave myself hiccups laughing at that one!

  25. Jay Randal says:

Zooey > Near my location in Georgia, there is a cemetary across the street from a Wal-Mart > every time I pass the place I muse that Wal-Mart should put speakers in each underground crypt, and announce their daily specials > Wal-Mart shoppers for all eternity > lol.

  26. Bruce+Gorton says:

What a lying sack of shit! I swear to God, I would give the bastard a blowjob if I knew it would result in him being impeached!

You are a better man than I am, Gunga Din. There just isn’t enough mouthwash in this world for me to consider that option.

  27. CyraBrown says:

No surprise that it took a lawsuit to get this information. Grover paid 97 visits, eh? Pretty good access for a Lobbyist. “Christmas parties and Policy briefings for GOP supporters”? My pale white ass! Policy briefings for GOP lobbyists? That is crap. Why weren’t Dems invited as well? Because it’s crap, that’s why. And trips to see GWB were not free either. Somebody had to write a pretty generous check first. And why would the White House contemplate citing Executive Privilege to keep policy briefings and Christmas parties, attended by Grover and Ralph a big fat secret? That doesn’t make any sense.

  28. big+papa says:

    ataxonamerica,

    …apoxonyourhouse…

…and may you have no disability, health or death benefit insurance…
