I am not surprised the Tobacco liars, the neo-fascists have bought nearly every senator and representative with campaign money, perks and outright corruption.
What sad weak little men we have in congress, the sellouts, those that love themselves and material possessions more than mankind and mankinds environment. These sellouts are doing great damage to the world with their sociopathic Orwellian wars and lack of regard for life in their mad pursuit of profit.
Well it’s clear that the people have no voice in congress and the only way to stop these monsters is to boycott them out of existence.
The tobacco industry built up the think tank infrastructure that denied the tobacco health risks. A lot of that infrastructure was looking for a job when the climate crisis came along. Just look at the career of someone like Steve Milloy at junkscience.com:
These facts are all accurate as far they go, but they say nothing about how Milloy came to be a prominent debunker of “junk science.” This omission is undoubtedly by design, because it would certainly be embarrassing to admit that a self-proclaimed scientific reformer got his start as a behind-the-scenes lobbyist for the tobacco industry, which has arguably done more to corrupt science than any other industry in history. -JJ’s link
huh, it’s amazing how shortsighted these people are..they think only of here and now and fail to realize earth may well be around for millions of years.
“Heat” by George Monbiot – - I’m pretty sure the Anglo pronunciation of that last name is “moonbat.”
