It is interesting to see how people who are blind perceive this. Some thing he came out on top, well he looked really defensive, guilty and stupid. He had much, much more time to do something about it, but he was too busy banging interns.

It would be nice if politicians had some morals but it really doesn't look like it to me anymore. No matter what side you look it. Sad but true.

The fact is the democrats voted with republicans to go into Iraq. The fact is the democrats have no alternative plans to protect the Us from terrorists. The fact is the left calls Iraq a distraction while Bin Laden has called it the central front in the war with the west. The fact is that there is nothing that the Bush administration can do to protect the US that the democrats will agree with. The fact is they are in favor of granting civil rights to terrorists.

Bottom Line: You cannot trust these democrats to protect the US...PERIOD

Mortified, what planet are YOU on? the economy is floundering? Not according to anyone who has actually looked at the numbers. The defecit is going down, interest rates are low, as is unemployment, gas prices are plummeting, etc.

As for Iraq, Saddam is out of power and on trial, His psycho kids are dead, Zarqawi is dead, they have had two elections and written and passed a constitution. The terrorists cannot win no matter how many cars they blow up. The only way for these terrorists to win is if we leave prematurely as those on the left want us to. I guarantee if we do that, the left will blame Bush again when the terrorists take over the whole country.

I can't believe any sane person could defend the current Presidency's gross negligence in the Iraq war, faltering US economy, global warming, irrational decision making, demi-god attitudes and moronic speeches. I think you people are living on another planet. Oh wait, I wish you "Bush Junkies" were living on another planet or maybe just a third world country, where you could watch your children die in a war not of your making or disease and starvation. Instead of defending Bush's incompetence and judging Clinton's maritial transgresssions (which belong between him and his wife) consider the real issues. We've been placed in another Vietnam situation with no hope of success. We have serious problems within our own borders that are not being addressed. Our children are being murdered in their schools and people shot in their cars at stop lights. We have economic and environmental problems that will bring us to our knees without intervention. I think this ploy by Wallace was one more effort by "Bush Junkies" to take the focus off an incompetent President and lay blame falsely at someone else's feet. And as far as Impeachment goes any President who thinks he should have the right to define torture by his standards should be impeached; this country is based on the premise that our President serves the people and is not the King of the USA.

An alien, looking at these posts, might think it was observing a heated argument among 10 year old kids. That we resort to name-calling, hyperbole, exaggerations of fact, specious arguments, and outright untruths to make our point means that we are either unwilling (scariest) or unable (quite scary) to participate in an honest, civil dialogue. Those able to take a broad view of this must admit that such superficial, dogmatic, uncompromising positions do not bode well for the future of our country. We are becoming a society of moral and intellectual degenerates in terms of our acceptance of having a dialogue that is civil and includes a real opportunity for compromise and change (yes---this means you might alter or change your position--how scary is that?). We have no desire or will to do this and that comes loud and clear through these posts. Why do we concern ourselves with the terror threat posed by our enemies when we reign terror on our fellow Americans daily by being so attached to our "rightness" that we try to tear apart anyone who does not agree. Why be concerned with an outside threat when we are terrorizing each other daily from within. Our days may be limited here but external forces will be the least of our worries. We may well destroy from within---all for want of "being" right.

The worrying thing is that the Republicans still manage to control most every news cycle and set the terms of public debate. Events this week have made it exceptionally difficult for all but the most rabidly irrational partisans to deny that the White House's strategy in Iraq has been a dismal failure. Worse than a dismal failure, since not only has it not achieved the objective intended (securing the US and the world from terrorism) it has achieved the opposite (endangering the US and the world by exciting terrorist activity and anti-American hatred), at the cost of many thousands of lives of both Iraqis and US servicemen, and billions of dollars of US taxpayers money.

If the Democrats were able to communicate these facts to the public there would be the biggest political blood-letting that the States has ever seen. But instead, the Republicans have all of you bickering about how much responsibility Clinton has for 9/11, and, worse, whether or not he won a debate with a reporter on a news channel.

Why are the Democrats so bad at politics? Why are the Republicans' advisers so much better? If, as seems likely, degeneration in the middle east continues to hand the Democrats more and more powerful ammunition for their political battle, I have little doubt that they will simply end up using it to shoot themselves in their feet.

Bill Clinton put FOX in it's place? All they did was ask him what the public has been wanting to ask for so long. The reporter gave Clinton the perfect opportunity to tell his side of the story, with his typical narcisstic style, and his characteristic outrage that anyone should dare question him. Instead of responding professionally, Clinton wants to know if other interviewees are treated the same. Typical Clinton squirming and avoiding the issues. He knows this will play well to his many fans for whom he can do know wrong. Lie about the middle tax cut, take advantage of an impressionable young woman, then wags his finger at everyone else for trying to make him look bad. I don't think he was a bad president, but I don't unerstand people who deify him.

You're right. Clinton speaks the truth, Bush is the liar and mass murderer, the WTC was brought down by controlled demolition, Valerie Plane, blah, blah, blah. These are delusions that are probably brought on by paranoia, hate and reading the NY Times, now that we're talking about trash media.

Maybe we should pull all troops out of Iraq, buy the world and Coke, hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Why would we want to fight the enemy on their turf?

Now, there's a plan for destroying MY country.

My Turn #746. I really cant stand George W. Bush, Liar & Idiot, etc, etc, etc. President Clinton nailed That B*****d Chris Wallace, good for President Clinton. I have watched Fox Channel, For about 5 minutes. It's a piece of trash, the truth is'nt talked about, only about how the right wing is saving our country. What a laugh. We are in worse shape now With that mass murderer in the oval office then ever before. I'm talking about 30,000 dead innocent civilian iraqi's. I dont cry for geogre, or chris, or for Fox news (that last is to laugh). To any right winger I do not apoligize. I thank you for desyrying my country. I was in uniform was Dicky.

What I like about President Clinton is that he can speak in complete paragraphs. The current resident has trouble with complete sentences.

There's plenty of blame to spread around. That's not the point.

How could this man be a world leader when he couldn't even handle an interview who wouldn't pitch him softballs? It's FOX NEWS, remember?

Too bad he didn't blow his top when he was in office. Maybe then he would't have 'tried and failed'. Some leader you got there.

Bill Clinton had gone on there to talk about an entirely different topic, so how do you say he was desperate for publicity? Did he have some prior knowledge he was going to be given that question needlessly, because othewise he was there to support a program he was helping. Yes, Clinton had his Monica Lewinsky scandal, but did anyone die or was the nation tarnished in the eyes of the world for it? Did it lead us into a war with false or misinformed intelligence? Bush is the the leader of the right wing, and he has made serious mistakes for which he is praised. He is praised for his actions in regards to Iraq, does anyone here praise Clinton for his acts in regards to his scandal? No, and that's a key difference you should keep in mind. What we praise of him is standing up for himeself and asking a question of his own.

I'm sure if you were the leader of this great country, and had tried but failed to catch Osama, you'd feel horrendously dissapointed in yourself. He warned the next administration, but instead of people focusing on what happened shortly before the attacks, the right wing focuses to shift the blame onto the previous administration. Supposed that you were that leader and that they are trying to now blame you for something that occurred later, wouldn't that upset you that the current president escapes that hard question (and implied blame) but you recieve it? Clinton lost his cool for that reason, but he had very good reason to.

Funny how twisted the liberal mind can be. I read the entire transcript and saw a man desparate for publicity berated for his inadequacies. President Clinton was an embarrassment to the White House. Here is the Rhoads scholar that has trouble with his memory "under oath". Here is the leader of our nation, not accused of lying like Presiden Bush, but proven and admitting perjury and forgiven that felony. Yes what a great man to represent the liberal mentality, and Hear Hear to all those that cheer him and his accomplishments. You truly do HIM proud.

Who cares? BJ is a pathological liar and his rantings don't deserve any attention. Here's a tip: if you don't want to answer tough questions - DON'T GO ON FOX NEWS! Wallace asked fair questions, Clinton agreed, then berated him for doing his job. That takes real class. Nice job of playing to your base, Bill. Are you running for something?

I guess Billy Clinton didn't want confronted by Mike Wallace. He wanted praised and stroked. Wasn't that Monica's job?

Dang libs,

How do you explain the fact that Mike Wallace has said that Clinton "screamed" at this handlers after the interview was over and/or the fact that the Clinton people demanded that the cameras be turned off and said, 'this interview is over' as soon as jerk off starting verbally masturbating?

Bill showed us how truly 'glib' he is when he is in a live setting and is not getting softball questions from adoring "Journalists" (BIG quotes here).
