Hillbilly,
Intellect has no direct or indirect relation to political or social ideals/beliefs. Your brother is a doctor, thus he’s wealthy, and therefore he’s been led to believe anything not Republican or Conservative is a threat to his MONEY, just like most gated community, new-money types. They’re so focused on earning money (like an addict focused on a “fix”) that they become paranoid and delusional.
“Media Matters reads Bill O’Reilly’s new book so you don’t have to. ”
Heaven forbid anyone on this site actually think for themselves. How handy it is to have your thoughts about a book all drawn out for you. Does Media Matters have a section that tells us what we think of “The Grapes of Wrath” too? I have been just dying to know how I feel about that book for the longest time. I’ll keep you posted on how we all feel about it after I find the link.
Excuse me? Bill Moyers is a liar? Could you give us a specific example, BS?
Comment by TheToonGuy — September 22, 2006 @ 5:29 pm
That would probably require us to actually read the book to find out. Maybe there’s a link on Media Matters that will tell us whether he sites specific examples. Maybe we’ll never know if he does.
#15 – I would not read a single word written by O’Lielly or any other left wing lying, cheating, stealing slime ball. Which basiclly means I will not read anything written by anyone in the republican party!!

just because MM made it doesn’t mean we all the right side of logic should do the same. How are we to defend are selves against the vitriol of this egomaniac if we do not know what defamations he writes?
Thing is we have to do it without buying the book and supporting his evil ass.
More importantly – has anyone proven that Billy Bob lied with his Al Qaeda is targeting me crap?
Agreed #12, but there is the belief that individualism is supreme. That “don’t tread on me” I’ll kick your ass, cowboy up, mentality is alive and well in this country.
Us progressivists are viewed as whimps and candy asses.
How do we beat self rightness?
When is it ok to express doubt about ourselves?
Actually, it was BS who makes the accusation in post #7. Someone should tell the fellow that there’s a difference between someone saying something you don’t want to hear and an actual untruth.
funny how you wingnuts attack anything that strays from your leftardian politics. I know that you hate O’reilly because he goes after child molestors and after you sell you so called gay “marriage” to America that child molestaion will try to be normalized.

I live in Texas [Red State] and I can tell you that many people are very disillusioned with the GOP. I don’t know where you get the ‘viewed as wimps’ the ChickenHawks ARE the GOP. From Cheney to Wolfowitz. Self Righteousness is selfdefeating. Bush/GOP ‘Might is Right’ is a terribly flawed logic. Self-doubt is not my bag,,,The progressive move is not,my view, a political party, others may disagree. =)
I doubt that the paper that has been wasted on printing this garbage is any good for toilet paper. So maybe the only recourse is a good ole fashioned book burning with the author tied to a stake in the center of the pile.

Now about these Child Molesters. You apparently think just because someone is a Republican/Conservative/Christian they are more moral simply because of party affiliation?
Let us see huh Ataxonamerica:
* Republican racist pedophile and United States Senator Strom Thurmond had sex with a 15-year old black girl which produced a child.
* Republican pastor Mike Hintz, whom George W. Bush commended during the 2004 presidential campaign, surrendered to police after admitting to a sexual affair with a female juvenile.
* Republican legislator Peter Dibble pleaded no contest to having an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
* Republican advertising consultant Carey Lee Cramer was sentenced to six years in prison for molesting two 8-year old girls, one of whom appeared in an anti-Gore television commercial.
* Republican activist Lawrence E. King, Jr. organized child sex parties at the White House during the 1980s.
* Republican lobbyist Craig J. Spence organized child sex parties at the White House during the 1980s.
* Republican Congressman Donald “Buz” Lukens was found guilty of having sex with a female minor and sentenced to one month in jail.
* Republican fundraiser Richard A. Delgaudio was found guilty of child porn charges and paying two teenage girls to pose for sexual photos.
* Republican activist Mark A. Grethen convicted on six counts of sex crimes involving children.
* Republican activist Randal David Ankeney pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault on a child.
* Republican Congressman Dan Crane had sex with a female minor working as a congressional page.
