Wow, Idon’t think I’ve ever been first for one of these. I guess I should say FRIST or something. Anyway, I just emailed my Rep and my Senators. Let’s not let this die.
I am requesting that you, as my representative push for the release of the April National Intelligence Estimate. There is considerable debate on both sides of the aisle and by releasing this consensus of the entire US intelligence committee will shed some light on the accomplishments and the failures that have taken place for this War on Terror.
You have a responsibility to the voters in your district to seek the truth and not just tow the party’s line. Let the American people see what the report states and then have the debate. Currently only view points are being heard without the complete information in front of us. How do you expect us to make an informed decision when we’re not being informed.
I thank you in advance for your consideration with this.
Did it for Jim Ramstad and Worm Coleman. Ramstad’s aide was pleasant, but confused. Coleman’s aide was abrupt to the point of rudeness. He didn’t want to take my information.
What, the White House release “classified” information – classified information that is likely extremely damaging to them (exposing their lies)?
Like everything else they have done in 6 years – they will defer, stall, stonewall, and eventually bargain something that masquerades as cooperation, and then silence.

September 25th, 2006 at 1:45 pmIn the case that this never happens, and we all know it won’t because it would helpthe terrorists, release state secrets, yadda yadda yadda…
How biut letting the 9/11 commission have a look, and release a summary?
September 25th, 2006 at 1:45 pmOne of the reasons I keep voting for Nancy! She has guts to be the first to call for this. Go girl!
September 25th, 2006 at 1:47 pmI’m glad Pelosi is on board, but her reflexes are a bit slow.
She knows how to react quickly, as in her unfortunately too-quick denunciation of Hugo Chavez last week.
So maybe it’s just her judgment. If she can learn to react more judiciously AND more quickly, she’ll do great.
September 25th, 2006 at 1:51 pmanyone remember the 800 numbers for congress switchboard?
September 25th, 2006 at 1:55 pmGreat resource for activism and contacting our “lame-ass”, so-called Representatives/ Senators:

September 25th, 2006 at 2:08 pmI can’t believe that every Democrat in the House & the Senate isn’t DEMANDING it’s release today!
Where’s our Daniel Ellisberg when you need him?
September 25th, 2006 at 2:57 pmWill do immediately! This information needs to be made public before it is “amended” by this administration. The people have a right to know.
September 25th, 2006 at 3:35 pmi found two toll-free numbers for the capitol switchboard:
1.866.808.0065
1.866.340.9281
ask for your senator, rep. by name or your state (if you don’t know)…
