What we need to know is what did Hastert and Boehnert know and when did they know it? How much were they told about what Foley was doing? Were they really given just the very innocent-sounding messages (I’d like a picture of you), or were they shown the more salacious ones? This is what we need to stay on top of. Don’t let Hastert and Boehnert get away with not doing enough when they had the chance. If they were told or shown that could not be easily dismissed as “innocent”, then they should also resign from our Congress.

October 2nd, 2006 at 2:04 pmThere is a journalist in Mexico who has exposed a governor (sorry, I can’t remember the state or names, but if you are interested I can dig it up with links) of a state and also his business dealings with the “King of Denim” (so called because of the fortune he has made running the blue jeans maquiladoras), anyway, exposing their child kidnapping/pornography/prostitution ring. Even though her evidence was excellent (taped phone conversations), the governor had her thrown in jail. Luckily, the courts didn’t let it stand, and her story is resulting in prosecution for these bastards. I imagine that there will be connections to the church and also to high figures in our own government.
I think the same motivations that make these people want to take advantage of children are also what make them want to bully the population with their political positions..

I wouldn’t convict Foley without evidence (hoisted on his own petard), but I wouldn’t automatically rule out such contacts.
