Rep. Tom Reynolds (R-NY), chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, says he told Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) of Mark Foley’s inappropriate emails early this year.
In an interview today with CNN, Hastert said that Reynolds presented him with information about Foley’s behavior in the context of “other things that might have affected campaigns”:
REPORTER: Congressman Reynolds put out a statement on Saturday saying that he told you in the spring. Do you think he’s lying?
HASTERT: No, I’m not saying. I just don’t recall him telling me that. If he would have told me that, he would have told me that in the context of maybe a half a dozen or a dozen other things. I don’t remember that.
REPORTER: Other allegations of improper e-mails?
HASTERT: No, just other things that might have affected campaigns.
Watch it:
Transcript:
REPORTER: Just a few moments ago when I sat down with Speaker Hastert, I asked him the question on the minds of many: what did he know, and when did he know it?
(Video)
HASTERT: First I was really aware of this was last Friday when it happened, and all of a sudden the press came out and said that there were these e-mails that were from 2003, I guess, and congressman Foley resigned. That’s when I learned of it at that point.
REPORTER: All right, but I thought that you were also notified – I mean, Tom Reynolds said that he spoke with you about it last spring.
HASTERT: You know, I don’t recall Reynolds talking to me about that. If he did, he brought it in with a whole stack of things, and I think if he would have had that discussion, he would have said it was also resolved because my understanding now that it was resolved at that point. The family had gotten what it wanted to get.
REPORTER: I mean, Congressman Reynolds put out a statement on Saturday saying that he told you in the spring.
REPORTER: Ok. This is the kind of thing, I gotta tell you, if somebody told me that a senior congressman was sending, perhaps, over-friendly e-mails to a 16-year-old page, I’d remember.
HASTERT: I’m just saying that I don’t remember him telling me that.
So they have all learned to avoid being labeled “liar” by claiming that they have no recollection, they don’t recall, they don’t remember, and so on, a la Alberto Gonzales.
October 2nd, 2006 at 6:09 pmHastert told A. Koppel on CNN that he only learned of the e-mails on Friday. Reynolds specifically said he told Hastert about them months ago.
Douchebags…the ONLY thing they’re concerned about is the campaign…more rethuglican bullshit.
October 2nd, 2006 at 6:10 pmOh….so it was because of politics that Hastert decided to sacrifice our children? Playing politics over the safety of minors has no place in the high offices of the US government. Out with Hastert and now!
October 2nd, 2006 at 6:10 pmHastert also looked like a lying, bumbling imbecile and if this was his best “show”, then it’s clear that his senile dementia leaves no room for him to continue in office. “can’t remember”…..yeah, right! If he can’t recall something this significant (something this criminal) then I suspect that proves that he trivializes such things….either way….he’s toast!
October 2nd, 2006 at 6:12 pmI live in Western New York state & our local news announced that Tom Reynolds will be holding a press conference at 7:15pm today (Monday) in Amherst, NY.

October 2nd, 2006 at 6:15 pmThere is no consideration for the real vicitms here: teenagers.
The new DNC campaign slogan should be, “Make no distinction between the pederasts and those who harbor them.”
Meanwhile – on WABC radio, Sean Hannity is feverishly digging up as many sex scandals as he can involving minors and democrats.
What’s equally as criminal as Foley’s sexual harrassment and endangering a child is the fact that there are those holding public office who knew and did nothing about it.
Vote the GOP out this Nov.
This isn’t a party for working families, for average Americans, or for our children – this is a party that protects the creeps and corporate cronies eager for obscene power and global domination, at any expense.
October 2nd, 2006 at 6:15 pmIn trying to defend himself he admits that Republican campaigns are more important than America’s children! This is not going to sit well with America’s parents.

I’m just not convinced they’ll get it. An administrator at my school who has a phD said, in a group of adults, that this country was founded on Christian principals as if it were a fact… and everyone but me agreed by throwing out incorrect facts such as the pledge saying “one nation under god”. I had to explain that it didn’t before 1953 when Congress put it there during out fight with the boogeyman Communism. These are highly educated people who do not think for themselves, how can we expect the average American?

Two Months Before 9/11, an Urgent Warning to Rice
Sunday, October 1, 2006; Page A17
On July 10, 2001, two months before the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, then-CIA Director George J. Tenet met with his counterterrorism chief, J. Cofer Black, at CIA headquarters to review the latest on Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda terrorist organization. Black laid out the case, consisting of communications intercepts and other top-secret intelligence showing the increasing likelihood that al-Qaeda would soon attack the United States. It was a mass of fragments and dots that nonetheless made a compelling case, so compelling to Tenet that he decided he and Black should go to the White House immediately.
Tenet called Condoleezza Rice, then national security adviser, from the car and said he needed to see her right away. There was no practical way she could refuse such a request from the CIA director…
…Tenet had the NSA review all the intercepts, and the agency concluded they were of genuine al-Qaeda communications. On June 30, a top-secret senior executive intelligence brief contained an article headlined “Bin Laden Threats Are Real.”
Tenet hoped his abrupt request for an immediate meeting would shake Rice. He and Black, a veteran covert operator, had two main points when they met with her. First, al-Qaeda was going to attack American interests, possibly in the United States itself. Black emphasized that this amounted to a strategic warning, meaning the problem was so serious that it required an overall plan and strategy. Second, this was a major foreign policy problem that needed to be addressed immediately. They needed to take action that moment — covert, military, whatever — to thwart bin Laden…
…Afterward, Tenet looked back on the meeting with Rice as a tremendous lost opportunity to prevent or disrupt the Sept. 11 attacks. Rice could have gotten through to Bush on the threat, but she just didn’t get it in time, Tenet thought. He felt that he had done his job and had been very direct about the threat, but that Rice had not moved quickly. He felt she was not organized and did not push people, as he tried to do at the CIA.
Black later said, “The only thing we didn’t do was pull the trigger to the gun we were holding to her head.”…
For a bunch of business CEOs, these Republicans don’t know the first thing about how to set priorities to be successful in their jobs.
Rice, Rove, Rumsfeld, Darth Cheney, Emperor George ALL need to be impeached. NOW!!!
October 2nd, 2006 at 6:34 pmWell was it politics when FOLEY made this comment:
“It’s vile. It’s more sad than anything else, to see someone with such potential throw it all down the drain because of a sexual addiction” – Mark Foley on Bill Clinton’s history of sexual harassment in September 1998.
My how the tables have turned!!! Hypocrisy at its best!!!

I agree. And am pretty certain they are who the Fouinding Father’s had in mind when they created the First Amendment. Because of it, those people cannot preach in the classroom and influence young people in that regard.
Though, one of my students told me that a teacher sent a student to the Principal’s office for saying that he didn’t believe in god. Welcome to the South… There are reasons why I left, and why I will be leaving again…
And adults who didn’t know that “under god†wasn’t in the original pledge of allegiance?
This is the woman being groomed to replace the current principal. She’s one of those who states her beliefs as facts. I call her on stuff like this all the time, but I’m extra polite about it so she keeps talking to me and I can keep educating her :).

The US is 89% Christian, give or take a point, so that tell you nothing about the population, you need to look for something that strongly deviates from the population norm, like, most are male …

Besides It’s not ‘Wisdom’ you have it’s propaganda bought buy PACS and you know it. The weird thing here is that you may be right about who wins the election [$$$] but you would be very wrong about Republicans being responisble because history shows just the opposite. Nope. 15% of Americans are non-religious. The other 85% aren’t all Christian.
Also, in prison, less than 1% of people there are non-religious. That blows your hypothesis, as 99.2% of people in prison are Christian out of acountry that is 65% Christian. Being morally bankrupt is actually in your favor.

A look back at the previous threads show different. Hendler.
October 2nd, 2006 at 7:06 pmgive me a break! They were concerned about predating of our minor children being a campaign issue? Last time I looked, their singular responsibility was the protection of the people – all people – and that includes our children. How dare they abuse our children and then turn around and spin it into a campaign issue? Do they have no shame? Evidently, they have absolutely none. If there is a parent out there who is a republican and is not outraged by this abuse of our children and the subsequent attempts to cover it up for almost 6 years (since 2001), then they have no morality or conscience left at all.
October 2nd, 2006 at 7:07 pmI thought myspace was for middle and high school kids… I mean that is how I heard about it. From the 15 year olds I used to teach Science.

October 2nd, 2006 at 7:09 pm#68, unbee,
I said that finding 90% Christians from a country that is 90% Christian says nothing – we can argue 65, 89 or 90, but those numbers aren’t significant to pedaphilia, whereas it being a predominantly male condition does. Considering all the female teachers being arrested lately, that may reveal that it is more a result of our society being much harder on male sex offenders than female.
Your numbers on the prison population doesn’t include prison conversations to faith, etc., so again, don’t try to draw any conclusions about the general prison population.
Yesterday, you called me unethical, now you call me morally bankrupt, please back up those statements, since you wouldn’t do it yesterday.

The Christians think that they are supposed to convert everybody to Christianity.
Isn’t it odd that the Christians have created the worlds largest Muslim conversion industry on the face of the planet?

Anyone can call themselves a Christian. It doesn’t mean that they are. (See Jason M Hendler for an example of this).
I’d rather rot in my cell than attend mass. Unless you didn’t have to pay attention when they preach. :)

A: Two Republicans…

October 2nd, 2006 at 7:14 pm#80, dog,
As much as I would love to relish in your descriptions of John Kerry and George Bush, it simply isn’t true.
Americans LOVED how dubya responded to the 9/11 attacks in the days following that event, which was the only test of mettle they needed. On the other hand, John Kerry voted to support the war, before he voted not to, and continued to waffle on the most important issue of the day. His hyper inflated war record, followed by him chucking his medals over the White House fence in protest, caused Americans to look at John Kerry as flacid, like every other Democrat.

October 2nd, 2006 at 7:18 pm#76….A Real UnAmerican….are you pretending that you don’t know how to spell perverts so that people will think that you aren’t one? Well, you may be able to fool people with that on your hate-filled neocon threads but it’s not going to work here.
October 2nd, 2006 at 7:18 pm“Wisdom” to a neo-con, as Jason here, is to lie and smear.
Bwahahahhahaaaaa What Fine Upstanding Citizens these Chickenhawk Patriots!
October 2nd, 2006 at 7:19 pmI said that finding 90% Christians from a country that is 90% Christian says nothing
Yes you did. And you were wrong, so I corrected you. Seeing as how you’re into the notion of drinking wisdom, I though you could use some. You looked thirsty.
Considering all the female teachers being arrested lately, that may reveal that it is more a result of our society being much harder on male sex offenders than female.
All? There’s been what – 3 in twenty years? Sorry, but I know those stats as well. Only 9.9% of people in prison are female. And that was from something IRI posted. You know IRI don’t you?
Your numbers on the prison population doesn’t include prison conversations to faith, etc., so again, don’t try to draw any conclusions about the general prison population.
My conclusions were logical. If 15% of the people in this country are not religious, then there should be more than 0.8% non-religious people in prison – even with the conversion rate.
Though we could talk about the repeat offender rate… It blows your retort out of the water. I worked on a prison project a few years ago for a firm I that did government buildings. We learned a lot from our Sheriff and prison guard clients about jail life. Something you’ll inevitably become an expert on yourself. I have no doubt.
Don’t try to argue what you don’t know anything about with someone who does.
Yesterday, you called me unethical, now you call me morally bankrupt, please back up those statements, since you wouldn’t do it yesterday.
Comment by Jason+M.+Hendler — October 2, 2006 @ 7:09 pm
I did back it up yesterday. Unlike you, I base my views on facts so I don’t have to cut and run when asked a question that requires them. I also gave you specifics.
Another neocon with selective memory, I see…
October 2nd, 2006 at 7:20 pmLet me throw your own words back at you, Hendler
“Please, there is a big difference between Foley emailing a 16 year old adolescent male, and a camp counselor molesting an 8 year old pre-pubescent male.”
“The pedophilia charges are over the top. He may have had inappropriate emails with someone below the age of consent, and if any crime was committed, he should be charged, but that doesn’t make him a pedophile. You need to get the terms pedophile, child molester, statutory rapist and sexual predator straight, because your diatribes lose their force when you use them interchangeably.”
“Sex with a 16 year old is statutory rape, not child molestation, nor pedophilia. When Dems over-reach, they surrender the moral high ground and remind people why they should never again be in power.”
–Jason “Foley Defender” Hendler
Can we now say that Hendler is a liar?

October 2nd, 2006 at 7:22 pm#81 – …Isn’t Jesus gonna be pissed at the Christians for convert so many away from his teachings?
Couple interesting points –
Jesus didn’t appear to teach to create a “following” or to start a religion. It was the people who came afterwards who solidified his “teachings” (carefully selected at that!) into what later became a “religion”.
Islam honors Jesus as well as many other prophets. So one would think that honorable christians might recognize their common interest in Jesus in Islam. Rather, christians use this as a fracture point. Strange.
My son, who served in Iraq for 1.5 years (after being told would only be a 3 month stint) says that Islam is practiced amougst the black soldiers. “Churchianity” is practiced amoungst some of the white soldiers. After a few months of blood and gore, some soldiers harden their lives around their religion. Other soldiers appear to have their eyes opened to the realities of occupation and how religion is used to split people apart, rather then to unite them.

My students said that we should send make our leaders “duke it out” instead of having wars. Out of the mouths of babes…
October 2nd, 2006 at 7:28 pmI’m fine with saying that sex with a 16-year-old is statutory rape. The difference in the number of years in jail is more important to Foley than to me. And this is supposed to give Republicans their self-deluded stature back as the self-titled party of morality?

Indeed. WingNuts would be in Full Froth.
Alas, the best WingNuts can do is impeach a man for having sex with an ADULT member of the OPPOSITE sex.

October 2nd, 2006 at 8:04 pmWHOA Jason Hitler—-
You are saying that Katrina set the black people back? I will not address the other issues, because the readers on this site are not as retarded as you. Did you bother to watch the series When the Levees Broke? Oh, that would be too much bother. Most of the stuff you saw on the news about riots, etc,. was rumors. HAD THE F-ING GOVERNMENT BEEN THERE TO HELP THEM THEY WOULDN’T HAVE NEEDED TO BREAK INTO STORES!!!
Did you see the cops coming out with stolen goods. My GAWD!! You know what, I am wasting my time with you.
People like him are so ignorant. I have “friend” that asked me what the Dems were going to lie about next since they couldn’t use the gas prices as an angle for votes. Since you are a virgin, maybe I’ll hook you up with her. Oh, right, you like little boys.
October 2nd, 2006 at 8:04 pmJason, I thought the L.A. riots was because a couple of white cops beat the shit out of who was that………..a black man. The L.A. riots also proved what a great job reagan did. Really, society has no use for you, kill yourself, please!!! I’ll give you a debbie cake…………mmmmmmm……… yummy

That’s the point, Juan Williams is saying ENOUGH of blaming whites for blacks not walking through the doors that the civil rights movement opened for them. Instead, Asians and Hispanics are walking trough, leaving blacks behind.

I’m just not convinced they’ll get it. An administrator at my school who has a phD said, in a group of adults, that this country was founded on Christian principals as if it were a fact… and everyone but me agreed by throwing out incorrect facts such as the pledge saying “one nation under godâ€. I had to explain that it didn’t before 1953 when Congress put it there during out fight with the boogeyman Communism. These are highly educated people who do not think for themselves, how can we expect the average American?

I mean, vaginas are falling out at an alarming rate!! Jason, thank you for your courage in bringing this topic to the floor. Have pride in your vagina, while you still have it.

Sister, you know I’m all that, and you are digging it …
October 2nd, 2006 at 8:22 pmJason Hendler is a perfect example of the authoritarian, narcissistic, Machiavellian neoconservative described by John Dean in Conservatives Without a Conscience”. And his presentation clearly demonstrates what is wrong with our political atmosphere due to the current people in power and those who support them. “White lies” are well-used distortions meant to advance one’s own pleasure or standing regardless of the impact on other individuals or the greater good. Projecting blame and traits onto your “enemies” is standard practice. Denial and a lack of ability to reflect on one’s own faults, with an inflated sense of self-importance and potency, are overwhelming. Winning at all cost is a dominant value. People themselves have relative value, depending on the extent to which they can advance their cause, not any intrinsic worth. Truth is relative.
To bring change, we must work for a change in philosophy more than present more facts.

You are such a pseudosophisticated, semi-literate parody of a conservative! Clinton’s rapid response team was to counter the “hits” of the Republicans and for you to twist that is dishonest and small-minded. The current crop of Republicans, including you, are willing to destroy or distort the Constitution, religion, basic morality, patriotism, the truth, difference of opinions, freedom of individuals, a person’s good reputation, or anything else that gets between you and POWER. Your “agenda” is nothing more than a self-serving war against humanity.
I don’t care what party someone belongs to. If they are without a conscience, they are targets of my ire.

October 2nd, 2006 at 9:49 pmOH Liberals, stop your selective FAKE outrage!!!!
where was the Democrats and Liberals outrage when Clinton pardon a Democrat for having sex with a 16 year old?
where was the Democrat and Liberal outrage when Gary Studds A DEMOCRAT Congressman in the mid-1990s was caught having sex with a 17 year old page. He wasn’t asked to resign, he wasn’t replaced!
furthermore, you Liberals should be running to Foley’s side.
Washington DC law says that 16 is age of consent for sex, thus it looks like Foley, at least by law didn’t do anything wrong. Personally, I believe his behavior is disgusting, evil, wrong, etc, but didn’t Democrats defend Clinton when he was caught having sex with Monica by saying that that was his private life. Once again, according to DC law, Foley didn’t break the law! it was between consenting adults. I thought you Liberals were all about government staying out of sex and sexual behavior?

Looks like we got the swing shift troll.
October 2nd, 2006 at 10:42 pmNewprog…
so that is your answer. To lower yourself ot insults instead of addressing the Liberal hypocrisy?
It is a FACT of history, not anything that Rush or them said, but a FACT of history that Gary Studds had sex with a 17 year old page and the Democrats didn’t ask for his resignation, and the Democrats didn’t ask for an investigation! so why are they acting differently with Foley?!
y para que sepas, pendejo, I am a Lation, hispano. isn’t funny how Liberals always cry and whine about the right lumping individuals and creating stereotypes, yet like a good uneducated Liberal you lump everyone into your hate white stupidity.
I seem to recall that your Democrat Leader, KKK-Byrd was great in his KKK meetings, Call him and ask him how it was to be a head of a KKK group.
Now, try to use that little brain of yours and explain the liberal hypocrisy when it comes to dealing with Gary Studds having sex with a 17 year old page and Foley sending sexual IMs to a 16 year old.
also explain why Liberals defended Clinton when he had sex with a 19 year old, yet they attack Foley for sending IMs to a 16 year old when the law in DC says that both are of legal, consensual sex when it comes to sex.
try something more than good old liberal insults.
Liberals turn to insults when they are faced with the truth and are at a loss.

why?
c’mon, can you answer? or are you liberals going to just insult.
what’s the matter, the facts slapping you liberals on the face?
c’mon, why the hypocrisy?
and i see that you can’t answer the FACT that Clinton pardoned a Democrat for having sex with a 16 year old. Was there a Democrat outrage when he pardon this person? c’mon……
why the democrat “outrage” about Foley, and they rallied behind Gary Studss even though Studds had sex with a 17 year old page and Foley traded messaged?
c’mon liberals, is insults the best that you have in your arsenal?

October 2nd, 2006 at 10:48 pmBut under DC law, -LAF
The law Foley himself put into law was a new national law that he MAY fall under for using the internet which crossed state boundaries. use your noggin for a minute before you revert to Clenisism.
Besides that monica made an agreement with Starr to not be charged for perjury. And she was over 18. Bill was charged for lying, not a sexual predator.
It’s your new Republican law [Foley caucus [Catch 22 eh? =) thats biting your own ass!!!

For the Last Time, GERRY STUDDS!
Can’t even get his name right. Wow. Must know a whole-heck-of-a-lot-about-that-story, dont-cha?
Well, I tested you about the 1983 thing, and as I predicted, you FAILED!
It was actually 1973.
Get your talking points wrong?
ahhhhhhh…..
B-O-O—-
H-O-O—-
So, give me specifics on your outlandish Clinton claim, and I’ll make you look foolish on that, too.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:03 pmonce again dognamedboo….
wrong!!! the law doesn’t apply to past actions, but actions from the day the law was passed and on! please stop making things up.
once again, educate yourselves liberals, under Washington DC laws and codes the consensual age for sex is 16! thus very sadly, just like Clinton, Foley didn’t break any law.
Morally what Foley did is horrific, just like morally what Clinton did was horrific, but legally, neither one broke the law.
Gary Studds broke the law and Democrats didn’t ask him to resign!
why the different treatment? can a Liberal explain or are you guys just oing to insult?
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:04 pmliberalsarefakes loves the sexual predators.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:05 pmfoley was for predatorism before he was against it.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:05 pmliberalsarefakes favorite channel on cable is “All Perverts, All the Time TV.”
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:08 pmoh please trueblue….
you are trying way too hard!
the facts remain teh same,
73, 83, mid 1990s, the fact is that Gary STudds was not asked to resign, the Democrats didn’t do anything about Studds when in 1983 he was caught of having sex with a 17 year old page.
man you are petty…
and since you are so well educated, you should be able to find the guy that Clinton pardon for having sex with a 16 year old….
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:09 pm#336 Don’t you mean Fox News? I know, redundant.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:10 pmI’m not gonna make any apologist for Clinton or Monica or Tripp LAF they all basically broke the law. Seems to me Justice was served. Clinton got license revoked, paid 25,000 fine, Tripp was found to be illegaly taping the conversations, and monica was nt charged with perjury.
I’m not gonna make any apologies for Pee Wee Herman and I damn sure wouldn’t be one for making apologies for the GOPs lackadaisical efforts LAF
I think I hear Stormfront.org calling you
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:11 pmtrublue…..
haha!!
read the DC law…and your link doesn’t work.
but i can cut and past the DC law that says that 16 and up is the consenting age for sex in Washington DC….
should I put you in your place or will you admit how you are before i make a fool out of you?
Comment by liberalsarefakes — October 2, 2006 @ 10:59 pm
c’mon trueblue….
where was the Democrat outrage when Clinton pardoned a Democrat for having sexs with a 16 year old?
c’mon trueblue….you think you are smart, no prove it.
Comment by liberalsarefakes — October 2, 2006 @ 11:01 pm
First,
what link? The only one I posted was to Stephanie Miller, daughter of Barry Goldwater’s Running Mate.
That worked. I checked.
What other fantasy you have, I will not entertain.
Second, I don’t give a rat’s ass what DC Law may say. A 16 year old is a CHILD. Period. Whatever sex, they do NOT need to be harassed by a 52 year old pervert.
Clinton?-
Oh Puh-Leeze. Everything is his fault.
You tell me (show me) where he specifically said,”OK, I pardon a Sex Offender”, and I’ll listen to you.
Until then, you have been served, my little tiny man
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:14 pmI think I hear Sam Wallis calling you LAF
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:15 pmhey libbies, look up the name Mel Reynolds and put it together with Clinton…
c’mon Liberal children….can you do it? YES YOU CAN!
Clinton pardoned Mel Reynolds even though Reynolds was sentenced for having sex with a 16 year old….
where was the Democrat outrage….c’mon lyingblue, c’mon liberals….
your insults are laughable.
Foley’s behavior, just like Clintons, like Reynolds, like Studds, is horrific, and morally reprehensable!
but you Democrats excused Reynolds, Clinton and Studds, we don’t excuse Foley, the idiot stepped down as he should.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:15 pmDon’t you mean Fox News? I know, redundant.
Comment by JPark
It’s a spin-off, with a feather boa.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:16 pmOctober 2nd, 2006 at 11:19 pm
c’mon trueblue, did you do your homework yet? Mel Reynold’s sentence was commuted by Clinton in 1997! Mel Reynolds had been convicted of 12 accounts of sexual assault!!!!
are you listening trueblue, or are you Liberal blinders still on?
and sorry kid, DC law is against you! if youd n’t like the law get rid of the Democrats who passed that law in DC.
According to DC law a 16 year old is of consensual age when it comes to sex.
a law passed by YOUR party in DC.
I agree that a 52 year old shouldn’t be going after a 16 year old, but sadly it is not illegal in DC! thus the Democrat outrage is fake! since just like Clinton, Foley’s behaviors were within the scope of the law, as immoral as they are and horrific as they are, they are not illegal.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:20 pmLAF doesn’t answer any of the questions put forth.
Keeps trying to spin.
Sorry.
Your money ain’t no good here….
(metaphorically speaking.)
OK, let’s give LAF time to look that up……..
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:20 pm“Jeopardy Music Playing in the Background…”
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:21 pmThe go over to freerepublic and start whining!!
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:22 pmAh true, you’re just toying with the poor troll. :)
I didn’t say stop…
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:24 pmreally, LAF,
so it’s OK for you to have sex with a 16 year old?
WOW!
HEY!
Liberalsarefakes wants to have sex with your 16 year old sons or daughters!
It’s OK!
As long as they are in DC, it’s legal!
Send them on down!
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:24 pmAccording to DC law a 16 year old is of consensual age when it comes to sex.
a law passed by YOUR party in DC
And the new Foley LAW wil supercede that lol
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:25 pmtrueblue….
do you know how to read? Look up Mel REynolds….I am sorry that you don’t like the truth and you don’t know how to read!!!!
Mel Reynolds was pardoned by Clinton despite the fact that REynolds wass conviceted of 12 counts of sexual assault.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:25 pmthere we go trueblue, like a good liberal you can’t defend Clinton, you can’t say anything about Clinton pardon’s when it comes to Mel Reynolds so you start making laughable and 2 year old insults
c’mon trueblue, what’s the matter don’t like the truth? didn’t know that your god Clinton had pardoned Mel Reynolds a man who had sex with a 16 year old?
c’mon trueblue, i thought you knew your facts?
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:27 pmyes it will, THANK GOODNESS!! Dognamedboo, but sadly enough, Foley’s law will not affect his behavior.
regardless, it was Democrats in DC that passed the 16 year old age for consensual sex. blame your party guys. They passed this law in DC
but i see no one wants to talk about the fact that Clinton pardoned Mel Reynolds who was sentenced for having sex with a 16 year old.
nice to see the huge hypocrisy on the left.
thanks for proving my point trueblue. Your outrage is a fake outrage. if it wasn’t the Democrats and the media would have been all over Clinton for commuting the sentence of Mel Reynolds in 1997.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:31 pmLAF when you get arrested for being a pedophile or a predator, I promise I won’t be an apologetic for you or the NMBLA or the ACLU.
Now will you please stfu.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:32 pmClinton’s pardon of Reynolds was for the latter’s conviction on bank fraud charges -not on the sentence for having sex with a minor. On the conviction for sex with a minor, Reynolds served a full jail time.
Someone needs to get their facts straight.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:33 pmhttp://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/Foley_in_Florida_1002.html
post from like #70
Yes, Zooey, I know.
He never answers questions… just thinks I can be put off by the rants.
Problem is: I am by FAR smarter than the troll.
…But I should also have pity upon the poor dumb creature.
You are correct, Zooey.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:33 pmIt’s too harsh for the poor troll.
I shall refrain from it’s idiocy any further.
Thank you for your guidance.
;)
LAF,
Apparently Foley is being investigated on the federal level, which leaves the Washington DC law in the dust.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:34 pmThe *GOP was against child safety before it was for it
*and jason also says studds..happy?
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:34 pmhahaha!!!
grab unto straws kids…..I see that you kids live in a great pretend world!!
the fact remains that Clinton pardoned Mel Reynolds sentence even though he had sex with a 16 year old.
Furthermore, Democrats didn’t do anything about Gary Studds when it was foudn out he had had sex with a 17 year old page. They allowed him to stay in power and allowed him to keep on running. The sad part is that Democrat voters showed their true pro-pedophile when they re-elected Studds.
trueblue….I am sorry that you can’t handle the truth. I guess if you keep on telling yourself that you are smart, you start believing it.
c’mon little one…keep on and learn something. don’t run away from the truth like a good liberal.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:37 pmI gave up looking into LAF’s claims they are always not what he claims, he thinks by being a ‘great warrior’, and making up things, he is defeatig the stundents of Sun Tzu or some such thing, I think he really dislikes chinese food
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:38 pmSoliciting a minoir for sex online is a federal crime, regardless of the consensual age in the place(s) where the solicitation took place.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:38 pmOctober 2nd, 2006 at 11:39 pm
Zooey,
you can’t be this dumb! the federal investigation is to see IF he broke any law.
you liberals are so dumb that you all believe that a federal investigation means guilt of a federal law.
get a clue and an education while you are it.
once again, I am just pointing out to the hypocritical outrage of the left against Foley. No one is supporting Foley’s reprehensible behavior. Please libbies learn how to read and comprehend.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:39 pm#344 I am totally against feather boas except when it is coupled with a pole and a legal stripper. :) See, we libs have moral values!!!!
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:43 pmLiberal beliefs…
“We are for teenagers having sex, unless it is a Republicana that has sex with them”
“we are for homosexual sex, unless it is a Republican that does it”
“We are for protecting our politicians if they break the law and perform pedophile acts”
“OUr politicians will not resign if they are caught in reprehensible mroal acts, only the REpublicans need to resign and only Republicans will be investigated.”
“We are for pedophile when Democrats do it, but against it if a Republican does it”
don’t you libbies agree that these sentences describe your beliefs? c’mon be honest and stop lying to yourselves
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:43 pmLAF, you are a moron. You defend a depraved predator and then insult Zooey. Are you really that pathetic? Wait, don’t answer. I think I know.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:44 pmJPark,
c’mon son, don’t confuse me with Gary Studds, or President Clinton, or Foley, the ACLU or yourself. Don’t worry the ACLU will come to your rescue after the world finds out about your pedophile behavior.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:45 pmnce again, I am just pointing out to the hypocritical outrage of the left against Foley. No one is supporting Foley’s reprehensible behavior. Please libbies learn how to read and comprehend.
I’ve read it a hundred times already,, jeezus, we know your opinion on the matter and you can repeat it a thousand more times it wont fare you any better, jeesuz christ.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:45 pmHey LAF,
Got a link to all those “quotes?” Didn’t think so.
Later dude, I’m going out to get pregnant, so I can have an abortion.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:46 pmYou can’t even get Studds name right, after I corrected you TWICE!!!!
Talk about idiot.
You want to talk about child sex? Well, let’s do that.
Heard of a little place called Marinara Islands?
You know the one — with forced sex and abortions.
The one Tom Delay made a toast to while he was there with Jack Abrahmoff?
Gee, who else from the GOP went there?
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:47 pmhmmmmmmmm…………..
JPark,
You’re a sweetie!
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:48 pmJPark,
please point out to when I have defended Foley?
I have never once on here defended Foley!! prove me wrong!
what I am doing is showing the left’s hypocritical and fake outrage.
Foley is an idiot, a monster and his behavior is morally wrong, but sadly and horrificly enough, NOT illegal!
it was YOU guys on the left that said that sex between two consenting people is ok, not I.
I agreed with trueblue that Foley’s behavior is terrible and wrong, but you liberals defending Studds when he did it, and Reynolds when he did it.
now you are supposedly outraged when a Republican does it, please, you are only fooling yourselves!
now, point out to where I defended Foley’s behavior, I dare you.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:48 pm#374 Hmm, I do believe the ACLU came to the defense of your blowhard Rush when he was busted for being a junkie. And I do believe they will come to your defense on your upcoming hate crimes indictment.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:49 pmwhat do you want LAF some kind of vote about your opinion?
We read it many times. I aint gonna argue with your opinion.
Its a stupid battle that no one ever wins..
I think your poopy woopy pants and a great big ninnie!
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:49 pmnanna nanna boo boo!
Ohhh, I see LAF, you DIDN”T defend Foley by bringing up red herrings? K. Don’t take me for a fool, child.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:50 pmtrueblue…
hahahaha!!! typical liberal stupidity!!!
liberals are so stupid, always saying that Republicans are guilty for having the wrong friends!
in that case the whole freaking Democrat party is guilty of pedophile!
you might want to check all the countries that your lovely Democrats have visited and you will find out how many of these accept pedophile. Start with how many Democrats have visited Asian countries that allow child slavery and child prostitution. According to your ignorant comment about DeLay, Kerry is a pedophile since he has dined and toasted in Vietnam, ,a country that does nothing to end pedophile and child prostitution!
man you are dumb……
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:52 pmJPark,
please, the ACLU does one right thing and one thousand wrong and you defend them? even a broken clock is right twice a day!
who the hell cares they wrote a letter defending Rush. The only reason they did it was because they were terrified that if the law was able to get into medical files so easily all the illegal abortions would be foudn out.
get a clue JPark before you speak in such great ignorance.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:54 pmfoley you aint gonna beat your opinion into others heads, they have their own opinions, if you don’t know their opinion by now then your lost.
Now i gonna get a bunch of oxcycodone from Limbaugh, and get drunk maybe find some cuban girl to get pregnant, maybe head off to Tom Delays Mariannas and get get some of them prostitutes that abramoff was talking about in that purrfect petri dish of plato retreat GOP capitalism
Try to chill out LAF, your gonna go crazy soon if you don’t quit.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:54 pmTalk to the VERY valid point I made, or leave.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:54 pmJPark,
and i am still waiting, where did I defend Foley? tick, tock, tick, tock…
you said that I defended Foley, either admit you were wrong or shut up kid.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:55 pmLAF, I am not surprised that you don’t understand principles and defending the Constitution. It is all so foreign to you.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:56 pmoh little trueblue,
is that the best come back you have after your logic about Tom DeLay is proven stupid, moronic and ridiculous?
poor little liberals, always crying when they are put in their place and shown that their logic is that of a newborn.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:56 pmTick tock. I did dumbass.
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:56 pmtrueblue…
sorry kid, you haven’t made ONE valid point. you talk about my valid points or leave kid.
you are but a little worm on a computer screen, you stupid demand is just that, stupid, ridiculous and laughable.
stop trying so hard kid.
admit to your newborn logic or leave….hahaha!
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:58 pmtrueblue…
sorry kid, you haven’t made ONE valid point. you talk about my valid points or leave kid.
you are but a little worm on a computer screen, you stupid demand is just that, stupid, ridiculous and laughable.
stop trying so hard kid.
admit to your newborn logic or leave….hahaha!
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:58 pmJPark,
idiot, ,you haven’t provided anything that shows that I defended Foley….
you might want to try a little bit harder, ok little one?
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:00 amWow, LAF, you have no response to trueblue’s valid point about forced prostitution and forced abortions in the Marianas and how that doesn’t really fit with your Rethuglican values? Why not? Why do you hate women Tiny?
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:00 amDipshit. You have done nothing but obfuscate. Condemn Foley asshole.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:01 amyour like a little psychotic child LAF do you ever shutup and stop your insane finger pointing rants?
No you were an ancient Christian, suspend your morals superios kinda anti-Sun Tzu warrior remember?
Barbarians.
Your logic is the kind that never learns from the past, but repeats it continously because you see are like an insane walter mitty superior aryan amoral let loose upon the internet
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:03 amJPark,
hahaha!! nice try kids….
If we use trueblue’s newborn logic, John Kerry is as guilty as Tom DeLay since John Kerry has dined with the leadership of Vietnam who have done NOTHING to stop child prostitution in Vietnam.
why doesn’t John Kerry hate women? if we use Jparks and trueblues newborn logic one can only conclude that a politician is guilty of supporting pedophile and child prostitutiton for traveling to countries that don’t do anything to stop these, right?
try a bit harder kids, you guys are failing miserably.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:03 amOhhh, well, ok, Vietnam…THAT ISN’T A US PROTECTORATE!! You really are an idiot.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:05 amJPark,
I condemned him a bunch on times on this site…..
learn how to read and comprehend and please stop your fake outrage.
when you condemn clinton for pardoning a child predator, I will repeat for the millionth tiime my condemnation of Foley.
but iw ould urge you to take a reading comprehension class since I have condemen Foley and Clinton and Reynolds and Studds on this thread.
learn how to read please and don’t ask for what has already been given, ok ignorant child?
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:05 amyou have got to be related to either that moron rush limbaugh or Jeff Goldsteiin, or Borat, which is it LAF
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:06 amDognamedboo….
stereotyping I see….where and when on this thread have I said that I am a Christian?
poor fools, you guys have such hatred of Christianity that anyone that disagrees with you, you brand a Christian as if it was a bad thing…
poor ignorant liberals.
I love ocming in here, it is such great comedy and laughs that you poor, uneducated liberals present.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:08 amlike one of those yippy little mutts that bite at your heels and makes you laugh
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:08 amWow!
This troll is DUMB!
But also sly.
won’t admit to anything.
We may have Rove himself here tonight, folks!
Give him a round of applause before the elections where he gets arrested!
:)
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:08 amWell, LAF, one of us has to get to bed so he can go to work in the morning while the other has to go to Junior High. Goodnight and say hi to the Teach.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:08 amdognamedboo, and you must be related to that idiot, uneducated, steal money for BoysGirls clubs, Al Franken, or Jean Girafolo(sp), or Rhandi Rodes, or maybe uneducated Michael Moore.
you certainly sound as uneducated and as ignorant as them.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:10 amBwahahaha, George Reading, imagine that.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:10 amstereotyping I see….where and when on this thread have I said that I am a Christian?

Sorry. Popped into my head.
Need to go to sleep as well.
LAF is a L-A-U-G-H.
It needs to crawl back under its rovian rock…
Talk to you fine people tomorrow.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:14 amdognamedboo….
don’t confuse me with trueblue, yourself, Jpark and most of the liberals on this page…
the ranting is mostly done by those on the left.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:15 amtrueblue…
don’t run away child….you never did explain why the Democrats behaved so differently towards Studds in comparison to how they have reacted to Foley…
c’mon kid….can’t explain your party’s obvious hypocrisy?
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:17 amyour hopelessly lost in TV land aren’t you LAF?
I don’t wanna hear that crap, that’s why don’t watch it.
Your not clever or smart you just regurgitate the same crap over and over and over and over like anne coulter on speed.
please just shutup, I hate TV and the people like you are why I quit watching it. You can never shutup.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:20 amdognamedboo…
well if you hypocrites on the left would answer the questions, they wouldn’t be repeated.
the problem is that what you retards on the left do is answer a question with a question because you are terrified to answer a question that will prove how stupid and morally corrupt your party is…..not that republicans are better, but you morally corrupt and stupid democrats claim to be morally superior…..
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:28 amdobnamedboo…
i see you love stereotyping people! for someone that claims to be a smart individual you are certainly quite stupid and dumb.
first you try to stereotype me and claim that i am a Christian and now you try to stereotype me and claim that i watch television.
poor liberals, always doing what they claim that others do to them.
aren’t you ashamed of being so ridiculously dumb?
i am embarrassed for you and all liberals on this site.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:32 amIf anybody has been stereotyping people on this thread it has been you, slimeball. How can you be so stupid? I feel sorry for neocons like you.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:35 amliberalsarefakes thinks she’s the queen of the universe.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:37 amThis situation must be a big problem for the Grand Oil Party. Look at all the minimum wage rethug trolls out here in cyberspace, all repeating the same BS over and over.
Amazing. They stay “on message†like grade-school children. “But Bobby gets to go!†“But Bobby gets to go!†“But Bobby gets to go!†“But Bobby gets to go!â€
Think for yourselves and smell the coffee, trolls. Dems from 1969, 1983, or 1997 aren’t facing an election here. The news is that right now, this year, YOUR self-proclaimed family values folks swept a homosexual child trawler under the rug, hoping to keep the issue quiet until after the election. Nothing is more important than an election to the GOP.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:37 amjames…
what?!!! hahaha!!!
so no Democrat is up for election in November 2006?!!
hahaha…oh my goodness just when liberal stupidity couldn’t get any worst.
hahahaha!!!!!
james, it is YOU liberals who stay on message no matter what, not matter how much the facts and history disagree with…
but i am not surprised at your immense ignorant.
here is a little secret for you, there are quite a lot of Democrats up for re-election and first time election this year.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:44 amliberals are fakes:- are you real, are you from some other planet, are you on drugs? Well, sounds like you are a Bushie fan and since he is nothing other than a moron, worst president ever, liar, living in a fantasy world, and you obviously voted for him, you are the one who is ridiculously dumb. Take off your rose colored glasses. It’s hell when your party is going down. I’d like to feel sorry for you, but, oh well.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:44 amBounty Hunter…
please show a sentence, paragraph where I have stereotyped anyone.
c’mon typical two year old liberal who runs to the aid of insults when intellectually you have nothing left.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:46 amThe National Republican Congressional Committee will keep the $550,000 Mark Foley donated to them since 1996. Any other pedophiles want to donate to the National Republican Congressional Committee? They’re accepting.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:48 amHere’s what I wrote (#418)
… and here’s the Rhodes Scholar LAF’s response:
I’ll try to write slower so you can read it this time:
Dems from 1969, 1983, or 1997 aren’t facing an election here.
Got it? Or is it too tough for you to handle. Maybe you are the one with “immense ignorant.”
The point, which you tried to ignore, is that right now, this year, YOUR self-proclaimed family values folks swept a homosexual child trawler under the rug, hoping to keep the issue quiet until after the election.
LAF, go crawl back under a rock until you can read.
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:54 amliberalsarefakes isn’t comprehending things very clearly tonight. Too busy trying to be superior. How’s that working for you LAF?
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:58 amYep James,
For a paid troll, this one ain’t giving ‘em their money’s worth.
*yawn*
October 3rd, 2006 at 1:00 amI’m surprised no one clicked on the republican chickenhawk/ child molester aspects (from Wordspy):
A different, though still possibly overlapping, segment of the population will be familiar with another sense of the phrase chicken hawk: A gay man who prefers adolescent sexual partners. (This term has also been used for a straight man who seeks adolescent girls.)
Chickenhawks hang around bus stations and train depots, looking for runaways who want to “make it in the big city.” They are either molesters, or their proxies – older, more experienced ho’s, who don’t mind making a few bucks if someone else does the dirtywork. Just like republicans.
October 3rd, 2006 at 1:35 amI’ve seen some stupid trolls on this site before, but this liberalsarefakes jackass takes the cake for sheer stupidity. Dude, the only thing that should be coming out of your mouth is outrage that a member of the United States House of Representavies was soliciting sex from a minor, and that other House members, including the Speaker himself, were made aware of his inappropriate conduct- yet took no action whatsoever to protect this vulnerable kid, or investigate the matter even one bit. Listen to these words very closely, I’m going to explain to you why this is important, outrageous, and completely sick: The Leader of the House of Representatives (among others) is complicit in allowing another member to remain in his seat while he continued his illegal, perverted, predatory behavior, endangering the health and well-being of teenage congressional pages, because… why? To avoid political fallout. To stay in power. To keep that seat red. The fact that Foley was chairman of the very caucus charged with protecting America’s youth from that very behavior makes it all the sicker, and the fact that the leader of the House allowed it to continue is inexcusable, demented, and possibly criminal as well. This whole mess is disgusting, and I’m sure more details will emerge as to both the crime and the cover-up. Since you’re obviously a Republican, you should be all the more outraged by this affair, yet all you want to talk about is how libs are stupid and pathetic and make you laugh… well, this is not a laughing matter. But you’re a joke, you loser.
October 3rd, 2006 at 3:39 amOften times we meet people who tell us they are religious and have values. My lifetime experience statistic about these people, who are annoying others and try to limit their freedoms, was never in favour of them. The vast majority of these “value” people did really bad things to anybody.
Foley must face justice, no execuses, no alcoholism can be accepted.
Republicans keep your dirty hands of children!
October 3rd, 2006 at 4:30 amTry this on for size, Denny:
Florida Standard Jury Instruction 2.2(a)
BELIEVABILITY OF WITNESSES
General considerations
In determining the believability of any witness and the weight to be given the testimony of any witness, you may properly consider the demeanor of the witness while testifying; the frankness or lack of frankness of the witness; the intelligence of the witness; any interest the witness may have in the outcome of the case; the means and opportunity the witness had to know the facts about which the witness testified; the ability of the witness to remember the matters about which the witness testified; and the reasonableness of the testimony of the witness, considered in the light of all the evidence in the case and in the light of your own experience and common sense.
October 3rd, 2006 at 6:18 amThe best part is all the campaign video material the pugs are providing.
October 3rd, 2006 at 8:30 amFor Hasert campaigning is the only issue. Likewise, all republicans drop the ball on all other things of importance to think about their campaign for the next cycle. Their reelection is the priority and the people, all the people including vunerable children, must not interfere with their holding on to power.
October 3rd, 2006 at 9:21 amVote anything but republican!
“The family had gotten what it wanted”…what the hell does THAT mean? Perhaps someone should check to see if payoff/bribery was also involved in this. Please, oh please, don’t let there be a Democrat involved in any way. We know they have one going back to the 80s and the inappropriate comparison with Clinton, but we can easily dispute those. I just really hope there is not more of this going on and somehow a Dem is guilty too and they’ll be able to “it’s a bipartisan issue” kill this. Wouldn’t it be terrific though if a group of 16 year olds with consciences and ethics brings down the worst mis-administration in our history?
October 3rd, 2006 at 10:23 amNo doubt former pages will now come forward to tell tales about congressmen from both sides of aisle. But the Foley-Hastert case is differrent because, as in Watergate, the coverup is even worse than the original offense.
Having said that, the Dems are not decrying this Republican coverup loudly enough to (1) maximum political damage to the G.O.P. and (2) compensate for the hits their own party will take when other ex-pages comes forward.
Read: “The fake morality of conservatives“
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:01 pmLiberals are about as fake as conservatives..
October 3rd, 2006 at 12:35 pm‘Well I don’t recall him saying anything about that, because it was in the afternoon, on a Tuesday I believe, and he was telling me many other things that would affect the campaign, and it was the third thing he told me that afternoon, because he was telling me this in the context of many other things…so I don’t recall this ever being brought up before at all, no”
October 3rd, 2006 at 1:11 pm[...] It seems that Hastert was quite aware that Foley’s cyber stalking of 10th graders “might have affected campaigns“. If Hastert waits a week before resigining, that just extends the time this will be on the front pages. [...]
October 3rd, 2006 at 3:19 pmI am pretty good at reading people… by the way the corners of his lips are positioned, his stumbling with words, his constant nodding yes, and the movements of his eyebrows and eyes, in my opinion, this guy is lying through his teeth when he says he doesn’t “recall” being told about the emails.
October 3rd, 2006 at 5:33 pmNow we know what the OCTOBER SURPRISE is: Foley admitting to being gay, an alcoholic, sexual abused and No surprise a pedophile.
October 4th, 2006 at 2:58 pmThe fact is Foley has lost his job and is under investigation. The house is having the Ethics committee look into this. NONE of this happened to Stubbs or Barney Frank when they were caught in their sex scandals. Stubbs actually had sex with an underage Page and he kept his seat and got reelected.
Clinton commuted the sentence of Reynolds who was CONVICTED of sleeping with a minor campaign worker. He was later hired by Jesse Jackson. No inquiry as to what Clinton got from Jackson for that stunt, no inquiry into Barney Frank or Stubbs.
Liberals apparently have a double standard when it comes to child rapists. As long as they’re democrats, it’s ok.
October 5th, 2006 at 5:47 pmWhy shouldn’t we compare this scandal to others and how the left reacted? It proves their double standard when it comes to those who prey on children.
October 5th, 2006 at 5:48 pmAll politicians are evil and this just shows it. They are always out fo rthemselves and however they can get reelected, they will sacrifice watever it takes.
