If Jesus talked to me I would think that he would talk to George Bush. Heck I am no one. My first thought was, wouldn't Jesus talk to someone important. No one knows me, I am not important. It makes sense to me if Jesus is talking to me he's talking to George too. I asked a man this question. His response was, 'I should ask Why isn't he talking to everyone else'? That kind of made me feel better that he said that. It felt like a burden had been lifted from my shoulders. For some reason I felt that I had to tell everyone that Jesus talked to me. The mans answer was that, 'Maybe the message from God was just for me. That made me feel better to. Why? Cause I didn't want people to think I was crazy. People thought Jesus was crazy even when he was alive. Anyway, I kind of feel safe telling people on the net. It is kind of like being in the Clouds. A safe place. Have a Happy New Year, Love, Peace, Melanie Stephan Why did I write all of that above? I had to add one more thing cause of what I read here. Someone thought Bush was crazy cause Jesus talked to him. My question to that person is, 'Why isn't Jesus talking to you?'

I typed in 'everyone thinks I am nuts cause Jesus talked to me' in the google box and this site was number one. Well Jesus did talk to me, I think he has returned. No one believes me, he only talked to me and then he left town. Any way I have proof that he was here. Believe it or not, I don't care. I am not here to convert anyone. Jesus told me the meaning of First is Last. This seemed to be a big issue with him. It means that when you die it is your birthday.

I read most of what everyone wrote here. I didn't get what anyone said. I don't know about people that use words like ostensibly, billet, or grifters. Huh, I don't get it. I guess most people don't like Bush. What most of you don't get is that he has a really hard f**king job. Could you do better? Most of you don't realize how busy God is right now too. OH, he told me he is mad as hell to. I wouldn't want to be on his bad side right now. He does not like what is going on in the Middle-East. I think he is going to reap people. Yes, Jesus does love you. God is mad as Hell. He said in revelation that you never know when he is coming for you.
Yes, Jesus did talk to me. He told me other things besides this. But most people think I am not telling the truth so they don't ask. I don't need to tell any more than I have here. The information could have just been for me alone. Maybe I am his favorite. I don't know why he talked to me and no one else. Anyway before I go off anymore. Have a Happy New Year in 2007. Don't fear the reaper. Melanie Stephan OH, one more thing. Today they are going to hang Saddam. Does he die a second death in heaven? In revelation some of these people get thrown in the fiery lake. I guess Jesus does not love everyone.

Come on folks, are we surprised?! Every possible person/orgainization/'special interest group' who could be used was to "WIN" the election. Why is anyone surprised? We were all guineau pigs in a mass social experiment that blew up in our faces. Lick your wounds and move forward!

The religious right were and continue to be willing stooges for Rove's cynical political maneuverings. The idea that the ends justify the means leads nowhere but to corruption and hypocrisy. Some of the right-wing Christian leaders have been seduced by power, and have surrendered any moral highground they may have claimed. This is why politics and religion do not mix - never have, never will. Both have a place in our society, but they must operate in separate spheres.

Daryl

1. You couldn't possibly be attempting satire. Like most other Holy Rollers, your blinder-ed mind set has no place in it for humor.

2. You quote Jesus as having said, "Man must work in order to eat."
How do you know he didnt also say, : "Man must eat in order to work"?

3. So you went to Oral Robert's so called "University". Did you take any courses in:

Spellling, Grammar, or the English Language?
or Physics?
Chemistry?
Biology?
Psychology,
Philsophy?
Comparative Religion?
History?
Economics?
Sociology?
Anthropology?
Art?
Music?
Literature?
or a Foreign Language?
How long did you attend?
What did you learn?
If you completed your courses what sort of a degree were you awarded?

4. Why do you believe that everything in the Bible is true? How do you know?

5. Are you familiar with the Bible statement: "There is none so blind as he who will not see"? or, just in case this biblical language is beyond your ken: "Please dont confuse me with facts. My mind is made up."?

6. Good luck. You'll need it order to cope with facts when/if they ever catch up with you.

7. I'm looking forward to your reply in your next post.

yes, this just shows how perverse the repubs have become. one gets quite saddened by someone using peoples' faith to gain control of our country and seeing them get away with it. then again, judgment day is at hand for each and every one of us, even karl rove.

It's soo easy to blame victims. Let's not forget that Bush and Co., including Rove, have never changed their stripes.

Don't forget that Exec.Order 13397 signed 3/7/06 put the Faith-based office under the authority of Dept. of Homeland Security. Follow the chain of command and you'll see that the President is in direct control of ANY organization that recieved FB funds.

Instead of blaming Christians for being gullible, shouldn't we all be thinking about the emerging Pastors as spys and the police state? Check out

for details.

I'm constantly amazed that people argue against gay marriage by extending the argument to pedophilia and bestiality. It doesn't even deserve a response.
As for the bible, lets definitely follow it. I'm going to get my congressman to propose a ban on the following:
Captain D's: "Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales; that shall be an abomination to you." (Leviticus 11:12)
SuperCuts: "Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard." (Leviticus 19:27)
NFL and Chili's Babyback Ribs: "...and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is unclean to you." (Leviticus 11:7)
Wal-Mart Polyester Blends: "Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. Do not wear material woven of two kinds of material." (Leviticus 19:19)
And lastly, we need the NCSA (Neighboring Country Slavery Act)so we will be able to own Canadians and Mexicans: "Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property." (Leviticus 25:44-45) Once we get the NCSA passed, we can stop worrying about this whole immigration issue.

You know its a funny thing. Even though Jesus told his followers that they should "know them by their fruits", i.e. the consequences of their actions, they continue to commit themselves totally, and blindly, on the basis of the rhetoric, and off course, Christianity is the history of less than clever people begin taken to the cleaner by Constantine and his descendents one after another. Even the Auto da fe did not put an end to the grifters. I don't see how you can be familiar with the history of Christianity and Christian theology and WANT to be a member of these gullible victims. Therefore: most so called Christians do not know their own history!!!!!

I’m afraid that these so called Christian Republicans are going to end up with the goats (I’m sure you know what I mean…to the non-Christians, that’s an inside dig).

This former-Christian-turned-agnostic non-Christian certainly knows what you mean. Although, I'm still not able to imagine or wish such an outcome on anyone, no matter how vile and filthy think may be.

I really love that all of these hickies are being displayed before the ZOMBIES go into the voting booth in a few weeks--the very same ZOMBIES that put us in the dangerous position we are in now--all because they believed that this cabal had plans to push their sick agenda instead of their own (or Halliburton's agenda, more correctly). Give it up, folks, abortion is LEGAL--if you're against it, don't have one! And fags are out there--if you don't like it, don't have SEX WITH ANY! Get over it, because even though I believe organized religion is at the root of every problem we have in the world, I can't believe that JESUS would be open to judging people for their own personal choices. I think that's supposed to be God's job, but not being a follower, I can't be sure. See, I'm tolerant of YOU and YOUR CHOICES. You need to learn to do the same.
As for the POSEURS who so successfully USED the faithful, when will we ever get one of them to admit that what we're actually doing in Iraq is squatting on a huge oil reserve?

"This has to be a coordinated deomcratic hit-piece coming as it does just before the election."

Sorry, I wish the dems were capable of coordination, but the past 6 years proved that just aint so.

So this has to be good-old-fashioned dumb luck. Or, as the ranting-right would have it, "the hand of God".

People have died for religion. What makes them so different than people in the middle East using religion for political gain.Sad part is 70-75 percent of them will still vote for them.
