Bush Invites Right-Wing Radio Hosts To White House»

The White House yesterday released a photo of President Bush meeting with right-wing radio hosts.

The guests:

Sean Hannity (”[M]aking sure Nancy Pelosi doesn’t become the [House] speaker” is “worth … dying for“)
Neal Boortz (Islam is a “deadly virus“)
Laura Ingraham (Sens. Biden and Boxer are “on the side of” Kim Jong-Il)
Mike Gallagher (Gore and Hitler “brilliantly put together side by side” in campaign video)
Michael Medved (”[T]he subject of my conversation with the president of the United States” was that Islam has “a special violence problem.”)

One big happy family.

Hannity: ”[M]aking sure Nancy Pelosi doesn’t become the [House] speaker” is “worth … dying for“

So, I guess he’ll be ready to lay down his life come November 8th when the Democrats take back majority status, right? Or will he wait until after Rep. Pelosi is voted into the speakership before he follows through with his promise. Hmm.

I believe that’s where he keeps that pencil he

Now if he could pull his head out of his ass, maybe
he could actually use the pencil as more than a prop.
This bunch has done more to divide, spread hate,
lie, launch untoward suspicion and support corrupt repukes
than any other propaganda machine in American history.
I don’t see Savage, Limpblow or Bill ‘gamblin’ Bennett in
the pic. Maybe that’s because I wouldn’t know them if
    I saw them…and I’m proud of that!
I believe KKKarl was upstairs with Jeff or Mark. (Rehab,

And this session with his propagandist sycophants was for what? Enlightenment? More likely it was to coordinate their talking points strategy.
Remember when he had former secretaries of state come to the White House last winter? He wanted to “consult” with them. He talked TO them for 30 minutes, then gave them each less than 2 minutes to address him and in 40 minutes it was all wrapped up.

  34. Paul in LA Says:

When will Hannity stand up to William Krar?

    “April 10, 2003
The FBI raids the Noonday, Texas, home of William Krar and storage facilities he rented in the area, discovering an arsenal that includes more than 500,000 rounds of ammunition, 65 pipe bombs and remote-control briefcase bombs, and almost two pounds of deadly sodium cyanide. Also found are components to convert the cyanide into a bomb capable of killing thousands, along with white supremacist and antigovernment material.”

Who are the REAL terrorists? Krar’s ‘Islam’ is a hood and hate-tract. Why does Sean Hannity COVER for William Krar and his buddies? Why is Sean Hannity afraid of Islam, but silent on terrorists like Krar, with their white skin and pot-bellies?

It is great to hear that Sean Hannity thinks that preventing Speaker Pelosi from taking her seat is worth dying for. How are you going to die, Mr. Hannity? Will you have a heart attack or simply jump from the San Francisco bridge? Or will you finally put your money where your mouth is and enlist in the military and serve in Iraq?

Either way the world will be lose a ‘hater’. Yes, folks, when you and I hate each other, Sean, Rush and Billo and the rest make a lot more money. They hate everyone who does not agree with them for a living.

Let us all work together to marginalize the haters. Let’s agree where we can and compromise when we do not agree. Let’s put the haters out of business. Hug a Republican today and tell them you want to work together to solve the very big problems this country faces.

Personally, I think Congresswoman Pelosi will make a fine speaker.

    …[crickets]…

    I thought as much.

What further proof does anyone really need that it’s absolutely true what some people in the press have been saying over the past few years about the Bush administration — that anyone who displays any signs of being resistant to marching in lock-step runs the risk of being deliberately marginalized? It goes hand-in-glove with the incidents of people being barred from attending Bush’s public appearances — and for that matter, anyone remember the name Jeff Gannon? The fact that Bush has invited right-wing radio hosts for a meeting at the White House without issuing a similar invitation to people representing the other viewpoint sends a fairly clear message that there is next to no tolerance in his world for dissenting voices — but dissent and disagreement is one of the fundamental principles upon which this nation was built. The only way that this show of favoritism could have been any more flagrant or egregious would have been if he had formally announced the creation of an official Department of Propaganda headed by these people. This sort of behavior is beneath contempt and utterly unacceptable from a President of the United States.

The jig is over. Except for the vote-fraud, the riots, and the eventual retaliation for a decade of pain, loss, blood, and bloody profit.

The Devil, El Huele Azufre, has sociopath wingers hopelessly trying to flap away the STINK.

  104. Ben Says:

Paul I would say Clinton’s pecker up your ass got to your brain cause that’s where it’s located.

Anyway, you guys can whine all you want. The only thing that will matter is who is in control and it won’t be you dumbasses. You guys as usual want a free ride. Someone else to pay your tab. The people that actually earn a living and don’t sit around looking for someone to blame as to why they have less than others will come out in full force and yet again burst your bubble. Once again you guys will be sitting there wondering why your base did not vote. Blaming it on machines or irregular ballots or some other kind of lame excuse.

Cannot wait till three weeks comes along. You guys will be crying and whining again.

  105. SpudgeBoy Says:

Way to go Benis and if that doesn’t happen will you apologize? No, you will pretend that you were a liberal all along. Spineless whelp.

  106. Ben Says:

Fudgeboy there will not be an apology but I would acknowledge that I was wrong. I won’t be blaming machines or claiming stolen elections. But I really don’t think it will matter. Republicans will maintain control of Congress for as long as it takes Dims to recognize that tey are out of touch with middle America.

  107. Ben Says:

blying….after the Republicans keep Congress you can choke on your poles…I mean polls.

  108. Ben Says:

Yeah Global Warming..yeah ooooooooooooooo…..again you guys are dumbasses…..plenty of history and science that says that your full of shit.

But keep worrying about the global warming thing. Meanwhile Republicans will protect the nation…and dumbasses like yourself.

  109. Martin+of+Earth Says:

During my prayers, Bush told me: “Come over to my place for a Wankfest and help me win the election, just like all the media should do to show its bravery and patriotism for the war effort.”

  110. monger Says:

God this is fun watching the right wing trolls, GOP politicians and talk radio goons get angrier by the second.

The troll infestation here this week alone shows how these people are loosing their grip.

The Repubs were given (or took depending on your POV) a free hand and great responsibility and the BLEW IT !

And now, just like a child that was given responsibity and abused it only to have it taken away, they are lashing out and pouting and blaming anyone but themselves.

In a rare monent earlier this week, I caught Hannity and nearly had to pull off the road I was laughing so hard at his childish pouting about Pelosi.

Rage against the dying of the light right wingers, because it is dying and by your own hand. The irony is delicious.

Now please return to your decent into madness.

  111. former (R) Says:

nice pic, a veritable who’s who in fruity rightwing dipshits bwahahahahhaa

  112. . Says:

    LET THE CIRCLE JERK BEGIN!

  113. Ben Says:

blying there are PLENTY of scientists in the field with great credentials who are disputing these global warming accusations. They think your side is full of bull. They have no axe to grind other than the fact that your side is using selective science and selective history.

As someone pointed out here many times you can only say “ROTFL” or some adjective in front of “CHRISTIANS”.

Then you come up with crazy economics which are again total bs. Just as an example more people own their on homes than ever before. Well owning a home is typically more expensive than renting. A little less disposable income but a good thing for them in the long run. Then you site these polls about public opinion. But you fail to point out that these numbers are always like this. People always griping for more.

Go get your crying towel and have a good depressing life. It’s going to be a long time before you get to enjoy it.

  114. Josh+P. Says:

So George Bush is Despot/King of US now… anyone care? Habeas Corpus?

    http://www.getsomejosh.com

  115. Bassturd Says:

    Well said Ben…

Selective quoting and stating Poll numbers is all the left can do…Oh yeah…and try and smear campaign themselves to a victory!

as far as global warming goes, I’ll worry about that when the next ice age hits…Isn’t that what they whined about 20 years ago

  116. eLad in MO Says:

Stop feeding the troll, please. This is childish and wasteful. Ben et al trolls are putting forth arguements against statements not even placed anywhere in this thread. He’s marching to the reich wing beat, all the while slipping into childish references to homophobia and genitalia. C’mon people, I mean, really. The best response to ensure a blown gasket in a troll isn’t well reasoned and logical points. Consider your tarket audience. It’s always been better form to never respond to their illogical rantings, but to continue the thread at hand. We don’t need to persuade trolls of the truth that awaits them in the near future. I find it gratifying enough knowing that the cabal sitting around gWorst will be marginalized and studied by future generations as an example of how close, in the early 21st century, America came periously close to facists rule. Personally, I occasionally read a troll post or two just for the pitiful laughs. It’s a weakness of mine.

Lets get some balance here, please.

    IMHO

  117. DSouth Says:

This is the most divisive President ever. Period. He only talks to extreme rigt wing idiots never any one on the other side. We need to take Congress and start asking real tough questions about what’s been going on up there. Hannity and the fellow nuts will not.

  118. Ben Says:

DSouth, get a life. You guys have spent the last 2 weeks on Foley while having plenty of scandals yourself. Where is your next Speaker Pelosi? Nowhere to be found. You guys only complain. You have no ideas other than raise taxes and talk nice to the bad guys. It is very hard for the right to listen to the left because of their blatant ignorance and cowardess.

You’re a shining example. Extremely stupid.

  119. eLad+in+MO Says:

Yes, #125. You’re speaking of a rare commodity called “oversight.” We’ve all now seen what a rubber stamp, do-nothing congress can do to perpetuate domestic and foreign policy blunders, in order to appear united in their defunct goals. “Stay the course” isn’t a strategy, it’s a bumper sticker phrase.

CAPTION CONTEST ENTRY: “Today, in the Oval Office, President Bush invited some of America’s leading radio commentators in what can only be described as a comma in history.”

  120. Brittany Hume Says:

Caption: If anyone asks about the Republican sheilding of Foley, just show ‘em your Jazz hands…….shaaaa

  121. Dog_named_Boo Says:

I wonder if/when the Bush Fan club will get tired of fawning over the straw man…I mean, really now, I am reminded of a group of 12 year old girls and Donny ‘Bush’ Osmond.

  122. big+papa Says:
