I don't think I entirely understand how much this is an issue in other parts of the nation. I figured middle america harbored a <em>C'est la vie</em> mindset towards the matter of interracial relationships. What's the deal? What's so offensive about this? What is someone's argument against interracial relationships? I don't understand. I feel stupid. I had to have my white girlfriend explain to me how it was racist.
