The Simpsons take on Iraq.
The annual ‘Treehouse of Horror’ Halloween episode of FOX’s The Simpsons, set to air Nov. 5, will “parody the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq.” Titled “The Day the Earth Was Stupid,” the segment “recalls the panic caused by Orson Welles’ 1938 radio broadcast of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds, only this time aliens Kang and Kodos capitalize on the confusion by invading Springfield.”

Well, it certainly isn’t in any of the threads that show the hypocrisy and ignorance of the Bush Regime. Like the one where Chimp calls Jeff Lamberti “Dave”. There wasn’t a single troll in that thread.
Makes it hard to take the trolls as anything more than cowards and free entertainment…

October 28th, 2006 at 4:54 pmWhy is it that comedians and entertainers are the only ones who can point to the Emperor and say he has no clothes? I’m thinking of the Simpsons creators (thanks in advance for the episode; can’t believe Fox will air it), Stewart, Colbert, Letterman and Maher. The only exception is newsman Olbermann, bless his thoughtful and brave soul. Just goes to show you the importance of art in society. Without it, we are soulless.
