“to try to win American hearts and minds to the urgent cause of cutting carbon emissions.”

  1. Bingo! says:

Britain should make Al their Prime Minister.

  2. Why+are+there+so+many+pedophile+republicans? says:

Good luck Al. You haven’t been able to make the case even when this issue is so warming up here. People in the US would have to stop driving thier Hummer H2’s, now that wouldn’t be cool. No road bling=Communism. Well at least that’s what the PedoCons tell us.

  3. Exley says:

“to try to win American hearts and minds…”

Good hire. In 2000, Al couldn’t even convince the voters in his home state that he should be president.

  4. The Tigersuck says:

Exley; So sorry about your World Series pick.
Who are you going to root for now? What band wagon will we see you jump on next?
Oh,that’s right-Jets,Jets,Jets!(unless Cleveland has any say in the matter) lol
    Again,sorry,but

True, the people of Tennessee apparently were not ready to elect someone with a brain. Al lost by 80,000 votes out of over 2 million cast.

Al did, however, win the majority of the votes across the country, beating the chimp by over a half million votes.

The chimp was fortunate to have Clinton fatigue temporarily dumbing down the senses of Americans in 2000. He was fortunate to have the temporary insanity derived from 911, plus a legendary smear campaign, to have the same effect in 2004, despite the fact that he was exposed as a complete retard in the debates.

    You must be so proud.

  6. Jay Randal says:

Well if Al Gore goes to Britain/UK, then he needs to knock the crap out of that Bush lap poodle dog Tony Blair!

In other news, Britain selects Salman Rushdie to win the hearts and minds of Iranians to the urgent cause of stopping their nuclear weapons program.

Just you, about 50000 conservative blogs and a dozen late night talk show hosts will pick this up as a story that was worth repeating. It’s comedic on about 9 different levels.

  9. Sharon Cox says:

Off topic, sorry, not…..truthout, yesterday had an article about the voting machines…It seems there is an investigation on because some of the software is now being made by a company baught out by a Venezuela company that may have ties to the Chavez govt….Check it out on truthout…This could get real interesting…..LOL…Blessings

  10. Jay Randal says:

Sharon > the Venezuela company is not a problem, but this gives cover for the GOP to claim that left wing Democrats cheat too, but actually the Republican owned Diebold machines need investigating badly!

The Diebold Winblows CE systems are trash, if you know how to type regedit and press enter your are halfway to hacking a supposedly safe voting machine. Autralia use open source code software on their voting machines whereas US and Diebold do not. Windows, Internet Explorer are well known for security flaws in their operating systems. CE is no different.

  12. Sharon Cox says:

Jay & Dog, I knew that…..Was throwing that out as bait for the troll’s actuely….Since Chavez called bush the devil ( a true statement) and they hate anything against bush thought they would respond quickly with lot’s of crap from the reich….Guess they are not awake this morning. (a good thing)…Blessings

    GORE / DEAN

    GORE / CLARK

    GORE / CLINTON

  14. Jay Randal says:

Sharon > must Bush lover trolls are passed out drunk till about 10:00 AM, and then it takes them about another hour to sober up > lol.

  15. Jay Randal says:

most not must > lol > typo I need some coffee.

  16. Suzanne says:

I’m Vice Chair of a group in my community that is working, especially after Nov 7 (we had a Gore table at the State Convetion ) to draft Gore to run. The whisperings are that he might consider it if he feels enough want him to. The Chair of the group was a delegate for John Kerry in 04. At the State Convention on August 26 ( Michigan) many many people signed up from all over the state to work on this following the primaries. Dylan Malone is a friend of Gores and has a draft Gore site. There are several:

    1. http://www.algoresupportcenter.com/gorelinks.html

    2. http://draftgore2008.org/

    3. http://www.theclimateproject.org

    5. http://www.gorenet.org/portal/

So, pick a running mate for Al and let’s get going!

  17. Jay Randal says:

Suzanne > that is easy > Gore/Obama in 2008! If Gore does not take him, then Hillary Clinton will do so > I would rather see Gore as Prez in 2008, and not Hill because she is pro war and Al is anti-war in Iraq!

  18. Sharon Cox says:

Good point Jay, I was not aware of that fact.. Is it just me or do you all notice how some of the troll’s disappear and another name show’s up that read’s the same…Like jason and john g…..Exley and M.A….Either they are all one in the same or tied at the hip…..It’s so boring they all have the very same preaching hate script…….Yesterday skipped over all of them and plan to do the same in the future….LOL..Blessings

Zooey, freezing cold here this morning, how about you’re area..High wind’s knocked out our power for 6 hours yesterday….Hope all is well for my favorite Zoo Lady….

  19. Sharon Cox says:

I’m with you Jay, I go with Gore, not Hillery……..I’m anti war’s…Blessings

  20. Democrat Soldier says:

    #3 – Interesting comment.

Looks like the voters in Pres. Bush’s home district think a Democrat is a much better selection than a Republican!

  21. Suzanne says:

I agree. Gore would start a wave that wouldn’t quit. Hillary has been far to careful, hidden, and the baggage that the right could throw her way re: bill would be a major distraction. Gore’s appeal is not only broad based ( many on the right say they could vote for him ) but there is the under the radar feeling in this country that he was really elected president. He is the real thing in many many ways. Smarts, integrity, actually cares about people and understands the real vision of this country. He’s been through the fire politically, personally, and there is very little bullshit about him….if any. “That is why it must be you Maximus!!!! ” :)

  22. Jay Randal says:

Al Gore did win the election in 2000, but the Supreme Court swindled him out of it, because the justices owed Bush Senior a favor, so they appointed his idiot Junior to the presidency! Americans love a come back knight, who will vanquish the interloper, to take his crown back!

    Gore/Obama in 2008 > NO to McCain/Rice!

  23. Exley says:

#4…“What band wagon will we see you jump on next?”

You can accuse me of MANY things! But you cannot equate rooting for the Mets with bandwagon-jumping! Believe me, that team has given me (as well as Wayne and Jane Schneider) more anguish, frustration, disappointment, and heartache over the many years I have been rooting for them than you can imagine. If I were a bandwagon-jumper, I’d root be the Yankees (shudder).

  24. Suzanne says:

    Right on topic…..the Yankees. :)

  25. Karim says:

Good to see that the UK is giving a damn about climate change.

  26. JPark says:

As a lifelong Brewer fan all I have to say is Boo-hoo.
