Another Nazi tactic, silence those who ask for the truth. Mr Starks was asking “Did you spit on your wife”, when all hell broke loose. The question is from divorce papers that were sealed, but people involved have since come out with what is in the Divorce papers.
Another instance:
Allen is a renowned spitter. A former reporter posted a diary at DailyKos based on a column she wrote for a paper in Virginia:
I stepped near the governor and smiled, told him my name and that I wrote for the local newspaper. Then I asked him a softball question, what some reporters call a “set-up.”
“Does Southwest Virginia need these jobs?” I asked.
He stopped and looked straight at me. He had to look down at me, because he stood so tall in those cowboy boots. I thought I spotted a twinkle in his eye, and for a moment, I suspected he might give a humorous, light-hearted answer. Then he leaned forward and looked all the way down at the pavement. Then, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia gathered up a glob of tobacco-laced saliva. He used his lips to squirt it out, as if he had practiced. The spit landed just at the tip of my shoe. He grinned, but didn’t say a word. Then he walked into the building.

But this is an opportunity to get the focus off the negativity of the Bush failings, and on to a personal attack on Kerry. The media is compliant.
Kerry’s replayed comments are taken at the end of a comment critical of Bush who never “did his homework” and ended up “stuck in Iraq.”
Kerry was indignant and outraged in his comment today and I would have liked to have seen his posture in the 2004 campaign.
Perhaps we should make it a point to approach Republican candidates (albeit politely) and ask them a tough question in the hopes their handlers respond with physcial force. Just make sure you have your back-up there to catch the melee on tape.

Having their thugs rough up a trespasser is expected from people in organised crime rather than from someone supposed to be a representative of the people.
Politicians are asked uncomfortable questions all the time. Sen Allen’s response was well beyond what’s acceptable.
Since when do Americans tolerate, condone, and excuse the government’s use of physical force to silence uncomfortable questions from its citizenry?

Well, this is not surprising. Recall the gentleman (former CIA as I recall) who challenged Rummy on his “we know where the WMDs are” claim from 2003. If memory serves, security was moving to remove him from the room when Rummy apparently told them to let him stay.
I also recently read a story on one of the blogs about a man who passed by an event that Cheney was attending, and spoke directly to the VP and told him he did not like the administration’s policy in Iraq. Moments later as the man walked back by, the Secret Service arrested the man on the charge of assaulting the VP. The charges were later dropped, but I think the guy was going to take legal action against the SS.

And we clearly do know what the guy said/did because WE HAVE THE VIDEO. That will prove very helpful in court. They should just be happy they didn’t kill him because (after trying to put him in a headlock) if you watch the video that guy slammed his head into the window, and it definitely looked like that hurt. I hope Mike Stark enjoys his many millions he is very soon to have! :)

IMO because this is exactly the kind of behavior that the Bush Administration has fostered over the last 5+ years and Allen is just following along. Allen can go f*k himself if I ever hear anything resembling the words “freedom of speech” leave his mouth.
If this does not sink Allen, then there are a bunch of violence loving, freedom hating idiots in the state of VA.
And people who post on here, such as Hendler, who feel pleasure in watching another human being slammed to the ground for simply asking a f*king question do not deserve any attention. Hendler is a nobody. As has been pointed out, he is not interested in logical debate.
I certainly will not be giving him any more attention. And while I’m on a roll, that goes for Exley, too, who has no problem with other countries adopting the provisions of the MCA which will allow them to hold our people (military or otherwise) in custody indefinitely, refuse to let them see evidence (if they ever get to trial), and allow them to define torture as they see fit. He is on record as stating that nothing would please him more than to see other countries adopt provisions of the MCA as their own. Our own President is also on record for having this viewpoint.

November 1st, 2006 at 10:36 amAwoken this morning by radio alarm with local yokel ‘news’ guy parroting dem talking points about ’stalking stark’ incident. Then the first article I found was AP/bob lewis breathlessly reporting about serious-sounding ‘chokehold’ occurrence. Uh-oh! Citizen-journalist. Vet!! Ex-Marine!!! It certainly sounded important. Upon closer look, however, including at the video:
Apparent known stalker menacingly charges public servant engaged in campaign of ideas, screaming and knocking into several bystanders. When this ‘trained killer’ refuses to cease his attempted assault, he escalates the physical violence with those justifiably trying to remove him. Finally subdued and shown the door, he mutters ‘punk’.
I think Kerry was wrong and mean-spirited when he maligned our brave troops, stating that servicemembers don’t “make the most of it” (education), don’t “study hard, …do… homework and …make an effort to be smart”. But these demeaning words would seem to apply to Stark.
Stark’s website gives some clues about his depth of committment to and definition of free speech. There he advises one to “study the terrain carefully before you join the battle”, the final step being the ’showdown”. We see in the video Stark studying the terrain as he careened through innocents in his attempt to assault Allen. This (one-man) mob rule is what goes for intellectual discourse for liberals.
It seems that Stark’s only other claim to fame is waving a poster with lurid words on it in front of a live-television camera during family hour. Another example of liberals’ engagement in the realm of ideas. Were those filthy words a an ‘illuminative quote” from one of Webb’s porno works? Will Webb have the guts to apologize for these apparent criminal acts of his agent provocateur?

No, the leftist crap media portrays this guy as just innocently walking through the Hotel, asks the Senator a polite question about politics, then the “GOP Goons” jumped him.
