Our government, going to war for causes that at this point are still unclear, in my opinion does not deserve support. The brave men and women who go over to Iraq and Afghanistan and put their lives on the line do. What I see in your argument (or part of it anyway) is that we do not support the war, therefore we do not support or care about the lives of the troops. If the war were to stop, Americans would stop dying in Iraq, right? If anything, (and I know I'll get flamed for this) I would think that it would be showing <em>more</em> care for our troops to oppose the war.
