[...] The past few days have seen a lot of change. Tuesday started out and almost everybody expected the Democrats to take the House, the Senate was unknown, and we were all concerned about faulty voting machines. It took a while for news to start appearing but in the meantime there were always exit polls. CNN constantly touted an exit poll showing that voters were most concerned about corruption, followed by terrorism, the economy, and Iraq. It looked to many like the Democrats were going to win based on the outrage about Republican corruption. After the first polls were closed and official projections about winners started to be made it became apparent that the Senate race was going to be very close and the house was going to go to the Democrats. I went to bed late that night, expecting to wake up and know who had won the Senate. Alas, I was wrong. When I woke up Montana and Virgina were still undecided. All eyes were on them. Then the Democrats won in Montana, and Virginia was looking like a blue win as well. During all of this the Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, stepped down. This was a major shift for the Bush administration that had supported and said that Rumsfeld would stay to the end. Could this have come about because Bush no longer had to please his cronies Congress? I personally think so, the next two years could see a less conservative Bush, and one who is willing to compromise for the good of America. Soon after that the news broke that Allen had conceded in VA and that Webb had won, giving the Democrats control of both the House and the Senate. It was truly a spectacle to see. In one blow the Republicans were knocked on their asses and told to sit down and shut up. The American people have voted for change and they are going to get it once this Congress gets going. I never though I would see this happen, finally something the Democrats wanted they got. After 12 years of not having Congress, we got it. I think this is going to set us up nicely to take the presidency in 2008. [...]

“How important is this issue to you”, corruption, terrorism, economy, Iraq.

What a controlled meaningless poll. Notice how the obvious was completely left off to skew the result? IMMIGRATION folks.

As California, Texas and parts of New Mexico and Arizona morph into a colony of Mexico. Well over a million American refugees flee the southwest every year. We're filling up into the mid-west, into the northwest as the country is disassembled, conquered. A million refugees every year, liberals/conservatives alike leaving as refugees. It's not "illegal" immigration, or a magical sheet of paper giving citizenship...it's changing demographics. Would YOU live in a neighborhood that's 10% white? Then by God, how can a man of honour force that demographic on his children? He can't, if he's a man of honour. There's one issue, the one ignored, the one that doesn't exist....it's IMMIGRATION.

Well i provided proof ... what have you got other than a brainwashing and a stupid post to match?

They all meet and vacation together every year at Davos, Switzerland, the Bilderberg Group, Bohemian Grove ... etc.
They sit around and laugh at tard's like you - sheeple.

Why did Kerry come out with that off the wall comment the week of the election about the military? He is George Bush's freakin' cousin and Skull & Bones Yale classmate - that's why. Why didn't he contest the last election instead of bowing out?

It's just like the WWF - which i am sure you probably believe in too.

Hey Bluedog49,

Why dont you do some research before you open your piehole and spew crap ...

Clinton could have flushed NAFTA down the toilet - instead he made it the first thing he signed after being elected. Started by Reagan, continued by Bush Sr., finished by Clinton.

Clinton's Omni Bus crime bill is an exact copy of the patriot act:
http://www.eagleforum.org/psr/1999/may99/psrmay99.html

John Kerry and Jimmy Carter both sit on the SPP board that is pushing this North American Union alonfg with the other Neo-Cons including Kerry's cousin Bush.

What have the Dems done in Congress besides roll over for Bush?
You better get this partisanship out of your head ... they are rich politicians ...period.

Do your research next time.

Random Righty, if your argument is that there is no difference between Dems and Repubs, why don't you vote for a Dem for a change? You know, just for balance, because there's really no difference anyway. Just do it.

Gvt.Mule: "Democrats and Republicans are both selling America out."

Maybe you haven't noticed, but Republicans not only run everything, but they have changed rules in the House and Senate to give the minority even fewer powers than they had before, so wtf are you talking about? This "permission to leave" thing is all Bush! Don't blame democrats for this fascism. If you want oversight, vote for the Dem.
